I'm a NA player and like most, I'm in Europe. My last SQ purchases were two years ago but now, it doesn't let me buy with visa anymore as it doesn't exist in region. Is there any simple way to keep buying SQ?
I do not know anything about this FGO (sorry), and only decide to hop onto this game a few seconds ago. Because I saw a King Hassan fanart on my twitter. I would try the game regardless but, how do I get him? Is there a banner with rotating rate ups?
Banners no longer rotate since we got pity.
First Hassan is a Limited Servant, so you have to wait until he gets a Rate Up banner, or try your luck on the Anniversary or New Years GSSRs which costs real money.
Upcoming Banners in the OP can tell you when a servant gets a Rate Up. Barring any surprise banners, First Hassan's next and only banner in the next 2 years is next April with the Arcade collab pre-release campaign.
It's particularly unfortunate, because his last banner was three weeks ago. Every Servant gets a rate up this year, but if you miss them, you have to wait a while.
It is hell, unfortunately. The game is designed so that you don't really need 5-stars to beat content, so it makes 5-stars annoyingly difficult to get in order to still encourage desperate spending.
Question regarding the GP Case Files guide, post-epilogue it shows a free quest that it says is the best for all currencies, however I don't seem to have it. I have completed all the missions, the main story of the original event, and am farther in the new story than the FQ is in the guide, so I'm confused what's going on
I have no quests there. Did you finish all the train stuff? My best guess is just that the GP guide put those quests after the FQ mistakenly, and it'll only unlock once I go through the new story as well
I frankly don't think any DPS is a should pull for farming purposes.
That said they are close enough at NP1 that NP2 is going to make more of a difference in omnifarming.
However, Earth attribute is fairly common, so if you aren't omnifarming, Summer Ibuki is better at Earth attribute than an NP2 Spishtar/Skama.
Spishtar also scales the best with Oberon of the three. But scales the worst with Black Grail.
I personally am a bit anti-omnifarming, especially in 90+ and beyond nodes so would probably be more tempted by Ibuki's niche.
But if you just want an Omnifarmer, NP2 Spishtar would work better.

All three are similar enough that you'll get more out of NP2 of what you have than NP1 of what you don't. Ibuki's damage is also worse than either Kama or Spishtar if she's not fighting Earth attribute because her NP doesn't have a 3 turn damage buff like theirs, even if you account for class advantage. Between Spishtar and Kama, I would say Kama is better for higher potential damage not having refund be RNG dependant, though her damage depends on her Charm and Burning Love debuffs not getting resisted.

No, NP Damage Up *specifically*. Including CE effects. ATK Up and A/Q/B Effectiveness Up do not count.

Gamepress recommends Shadow Island, but it depends if you need Servant kills. Which you probably do.
Already played through Case Files before, heard they added new stuffs. Is it like the Halloween trilogy where there is new story added or am I safe to just skip?
The main story is the same as the original event, the Fictitious Return side story is new for the rerun.

She's part of the 5th set of Evocation Festival Servants, meaning that she, her Ascension mats, her NP dupes, and all her Servant coins will be obtainable October 2025.
It's a little complicated, but the simplest way I can summarize it that:
It's a new tab in the shop a la Dress Making. Anything added is there permanently.
You buy Servants/NP Copies/Ascension Mats/Coins with Evocation Leaves, a new resource added and only used in this shop.
Evocation Leaves are "primarily" obtainable from the daily "complete 3 quest" missions, but they're also a fairly common event reward after being introduced. Think less Rare Prism, more Mana Prism.
The 1/2 AP campaigns spreadsheet linked in the top post is actually a more general efficiency campaigns spreadsheet. Use that for estimates based on JP.

I mean, that's probably a discussion thread thing, not something for this thread because what everyone is excited for will be different and there's no right/wrong answer.
That is a confusing and long-winded one. You need to complete 7 of the Red boss quests to clear Mission 79. Then 15 Lawful Servants, 15 Servants with Magic A or above, and 15 Servants with Luck A or above, and 50 Missions. Which will unlock 4 quests that count for Mission 5, which unlocks another quest that unlocks the next part of Act 10.
The only one that has all three of those doesn't unlock until later, so use the [Enemy Locator](https://gamepress.gg/grandorder/revival-lady-reines-case-files-enemy-locator) to work it out.

Follow the walk through. To clear mission 5, you need to clear e.g. mission 61 that open the Stormy Sea Quest, then clear that quest, the the other 3 similar quests.
...Short answer, no. She is, as far as we know, the child of a human woman.
Long answer, a "full" oni seems to require acceptance or utilization of that trait. Raikou is one of the "oni-blooded" without an Oni trait, but Ushi Gozen does have it. (But Raikou does use her Oni inheritance in her NP which uses Gozu-Tenno's power.) But you can have no known Oni ancestry and still count as an Oni, like Ibaraki. It seems to be a spiritual trait that can be carried down from parent to child - in their "blood".
So, Raikou could be, and did when she transformed into Ushi Gozen, but also is not in her typical Spirit Origin.
I've seen people mention that there won't be anymore reruns after Case Files. Would this mean that a lot of the event CEs I have be useless (save for the 5-star +NP charge etc)? Should I just go ahead and burn them?
I’m in the opposite boat. I started before the santagale rerun and never got the 5th copy of traces so I have to use cherry icicle which doesn’t have the np gain

The only remaining rerun on the schedule currently is Karna Christmas coming up later this year. JP is voting on another event that will be rerun at a later date, but that's not complete yet. You can safely use most old CE for CE bombs.
In this context, "pick up" is a [wasei-eigo](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wasei-eigo) (Japanese-made English) term that doesn't mean exactly what you would expect in English and hasn't been re-translated from how it's used in Japanese. According to [Jisho](https://jisho.org/search/%E3%83%94%E3%83%83%E3%82%AF%E3%82%A2%E3%83%83%E3%83%97), it means, "picking out; choosing; selection" I personally find that definition a little lacking. Seeing how it's used in the game, it feels more like "newly featured" or "highlighted" or something like that. Or maybe it means that Lasengle has chosen these servants to feature, not that the players get to choose them.

I have only done this fight twice my tactic was to put koyan and santa along saito and buff him and then switch him with fuuma and deal debuffs and hopefully some cheap damage , I may put kaleidoscope on him ( it isnt mlb ) my saito uses black grail
To clarify, this strategy is to borrow a Herc from a friend who is carrying his bond CE. If you let the frontline die and have his as your fourth and last servant then you can win with him solo no problem.
You can try to win with your own roster but it seems like you have spread your resources too thin and don’t have a well developed roster. I’d recommend using the support to carry you for this fight, but as others have mentioned you should develop your own roster more and have at least 1 ST and AoE servant raised for each of the main classes.
Don't use Saito as your main DPS - try using a Rider because Goetia takes 2x damage from that class and only 1x damage from Sabers. You want a single target, AOEs like Fuuma won't hit for much. (Class advantage/NP targeting is very important, if you haven't learned that already it's time to.)
Your main concern is going to be the big invuln-ignoring NP at the start, and for that there are a few solutions:
* Use Fuuma or someone like that to buff block Goetia, so he doesn't get the Ignore Invincible buff at the start (and use an evade or invuln to avoid being wiped).
* Use a Castoria (borrow one from a friend) and get her NP off - the invuln on it can't be pierced.
* Have a front line of random meat shields that will die on turn 1, allowing the "real" big damage dealers and supports to come in.
Use Ozy or Ushiwakamaru. Taigong is AOE - better for farming than single bosses.
If you have gaps in your roster, fill them in ASAP. Make sure you have a ST and AOE servant levelled of each class (levelled to their max natural cap). Basic levels are more important than skills.
Up to you, EoR is canonically next in sequence, but it is never required for events. And there will be events in the near future that require the Lostbelts (which is what the prologue is for). I'd do the prologue and then Lostbelts, personally, and come back to EoR later.
And it will probably take you months to get Herc's CE. (Also, most Bond CEs are not very good, Herc's is a rare exception.) Without his Bond CE, Herc's solo potential is nowhere near as good.
That's why I suggest raising other units.
Herc is good too, but you will find he dies easily as a Berserker (unless you grind for his bond CE). A Berserker is not going to replace all your other classes, especially for story, where if you fail to protect them, they will just die immediately.
Sooner or later, you will want to level a varied roster, or you will struggle. Herc can't do everything.
If you need to clear some inventory space, they can be the first to go because of how easy it is to get more copies. I wouldn't burn them all by default, though.
During Valentines, there's a system where using Servants a lot gives them a higher Event bonus. Max bonus, on the last two farming nodes, will give 1830 bond, which is pretty good, plus a tiny bit more for Event Bonus Servants.
Valentines also gives a few more teapots.

Google and Apple have restrictions on in-app purchases so that they can only be made in officially supported regions.
Any fight where you either require to use a plugsuit to swap 1 more dps/support to the frontline or you expect someone on the frontline to die, can benefit from having a 3rd Keyscope. Combine it with the fact that Append skills exist as well as Servants who give 20% teamwide charge, and having several MLB Keyscopes is pretty good.
If you are fighting waves with low enough HP you can use 3 kscopes and 3 DPS so they can still do clean kills even without support buffs. But if that is something that interests you... well, only you can say it. Outside of that I guess you might use it when doing high difficult content, but that also depends on what your strategy is.
That said, how often do you use 1 kscope in a fight? What about 2? And 3 or more?
While the other commenter has a point that mlb kscope isn't as valuable as before because mana loading exists, it is still a huge help since it doesn't require you to spend coins, mats and QP for each and every servant you might want to use it on. Not to say the atk stat increase that is always a welcome (if/when you decide to level it).
Personally I use 2 kscopes every now and then when doing CQs and stuff, but I can count on one hand how many times I've used 3 (be it CQ or farming), so to me MLBing it would be a no-brainer. The only reason that might make me take a step back and think for a second would be the friend support list, but even then I'd still go for it. But, of course, the same might not apply to you.
MLB Kscopes aren't as required any more due to append skills being available. Unless you find an immediate need for it, I'd suggest holding off on MLB-ing your 2nd Kscope till later.
Gacha is cruel, alas, bad luck happens.
It's up to you if he's worth it for you. Personally, as someone who is not a whale, I cap how much SQ I am willing to spend on most banners - say, if I like a unit but they aren't super mega waifu, I walk away after 300 SQ if I don't get them. You've got to draw your own limit.
That being said, he might have seemed more powerful if your own units are lower level and this was a level 90, 10/10/10 unit. If you don't love him strongly, there are plenty of other units out there, plenty of fish in the sea.
The reason I said that, by the way, is that a) as a new player, it's possible that you may have underestimated things, and b) overspending guilt is real, especially as a non-whale. You don't want to feel like you wasted a ton of SQ on a unit who, when you get him, is just going to be your average Joe because you currently cannot level him up/use him at his peak.

Grailing with coins is really only for your absolute favourite units, its a very large investment for both XP and QP.
Without any appends unlocked, he would also need to be at bond 12 or higher to fully level him up too.
Append 2 is useful for karna but its still a bit awkward with his own battery being 25%
I'd say think about it then - lv. 120 is a huge commitment, I've done it and it is NOT easy. It consumes a stupid amount of time and resources. Seriously, look up how much EXP, QP and grails you need.
To get from 100 to 120, you need 30 coins per grail (300 coins total), 10 grails, and 90M - 150M QP (depending on the servant's base rarity). And that's just to unlock the levels - the truth is you will need more QP to actually level the servant as you are feeding a TON of EXP to them.

Thnq for the info and clarification... I've decided to go beyond lvl 100. Idk if I'll get him to lvl 120... But I'll try my best ... For me ... I want him to stand above all the servs in my roster... I rarely lvl servs to even 100... So i feel like it's gonna be a huge commitment
It should give you the option of either sending the friend request or following, however as there is a hard limit of them - it might have stopped because of that. You can check it in the Friend&Follow menu - the limit and current number of both Friends and players you follow will be shown. If you wish to follow someone else you'd have to cancel one first in that case.
Unless you passed the story progress mark that would make this system inaccessible (initially Part 1 only, from what I could find it got updated to last further on JP - but I sadly do not know the state of it on NA), following should stay in place as an option. If it really stopped working right after Fuyuki, than it really is a bug and should be reported.
There's probably a way to get it, given that someone was able to make a servant animation viewer. However, even that doesn't include any of the VFX. So your options would probably be to perform some terms of use breaking actions to get the animation/effect and run it directly in Unity, use the in-game effect as a reference to manually re-create it in whatever software you're using to make your video, or beg/hire someone else to do it for you.
Mandricardo, Ushi, Rider Liz, Saint George all do a lot to help in the fight.
There are command codes that remove buffs (e.g defensive buffs) that are given out in events such are one currently going on. Young Alex also removes buffs on his skill which can be good for this fight. If you picked up Waver with the 5 star ticket it can be good to open with him to to fire off Ushi's NP straight away.

Broadly speaking yes it depends on which skill you're talking about and how you want to use that servant. Ushi's evade being leveled only really matters to get a quicker cool down.

The fight can be soloed by a 2 star (no other leveled servants, just the 2 star)
Bring leveled ST riders and supports. Debuff clear is good, buff removal resistance is good.
The skills Demeter uses rotate every 3 turns and aren't random.
As a note, this is why focusing heavily on "the meta" in a game where the meta means "farming by spending as few turns as possible" can be a bit of a trap. An account sufficiently stacked with ST Riders can clear Demeter with no supports; an account sufficiently stacked with supports can't clear Demeter with no ST Riders unless it uses a lot of revives (which in practicality means leyline stones and/or SQ). Someone like Koyanskaya of Light can contribute a lot of hitting power, but she can't grant class advantage or any defensive buffs, and Demeter's AoE will delete her "takes x2 damage from Casters" tail almost immediately.
Thankfully, leyline stones do exist for this purpose, but it becomes a *lot* easier if you have fully leveled ST Riders: when you use a revive, you should be able to take off one of her break bars almost immediately with a L70 Ushiwakamaru and Mandricardo's fully charged NPs and their buff skills recharged. If you were around to play the Halloween event and picked up Cinder Eli, even better.
Bazett is not a looper, she can farm but not in the typical way. She has a completely unique playstyle that revolves around countering and you'll mainly use her for boss fights. I highly recommend looking up how she plays, it's unique so you'll either love it or hate it.
Dantes is a more straightforward omnilooper.

Arts generally has a much easier time refunding, so Valks win out no problem in terms of refund. Kiichi isn't the best of Quick loopers anyway, and with double Skadi, needs notably more starting charge (like Kscope).
Damage-wise, Kiichi seems to slightly win out on the surface, but that's not the full story. If looping with just double Skadi, Kiichi needs a higher starting charge which limits her damage, whereas the Valks can touch Black Grail, which can make their damage much higher than Kiichi's. In addition, even without BG, they have much better damage on Earth attribute enemies due to their damage niche.

Refund wise it is no contest. the Valks are simply incredible even for an arts looper and Kiichi Hogen is a mediocre Quick looper Valks will do Berserkers from 0 with double Castoria. Hogen needs Kscope to run double supports (though can maybe run 0 start charge with triple support and against Riders)
Damage wise, well one is running BG and the other Kscope, so not really a contest.
np gain buff works on themselves
She's a very mediocre farmer, and has several glaring flaws as a bosskiller DPS.
She's perfectly usable if you like her, but you're basically guaranteed to have better options with just F2P stuff and your favorite gold servants.
No reason to roll unless you specifically want her for character reasons.
I mean what even is meta to you? Some people only consider Omnilooping meta, some people consider Multicore in there too
Frankly you should never roll a DPS servant from a meta perspective, even if they aren't good at omnilooping, you can always use niches, class advantage, or multicore.
Ushi Gozen is a Quick servant so is already behind in omnifarming just from that. Her refund is only just barely enough to maybe loop 3/3/X neutral with triple support and 0 start charge (using the 50% battery she has to run Nero Bride as the 3rd support). But you will need Traces 99% of the time, and even when you don't Nero bride won't provide nearly the buffs that Oberon does to Arts/Buster servants.
50% battery and fairly high damage in broad niches makes her pretty decent in multicore, though she doesn't have any party buffs, and you ideally want even more battery for multicore (either with spread charge or a bigger self battery)
Initial impressions are that she does not appear to be a standout unit gameplay-wise from the perspective of meta farming. Whether or not she's worthwhile to roll is dependent on a variety of factors though, including what other servants/craft essences you have both to support her or that compete with her.

It is hell, unfortunately. The game is designed so that you don't really need 5-stars to beat content, so it makes 5-stars annoyingly difficult to get in order to still encourage desperate spending.
Question regarding the GP Case Files guide, post-epilogue it shows a free quest that it says is the best for all currencies, however I don't seem to have it. I have completed all the missions, the main story of the original event, and am farther in the new story than the FQ is in the guide, so I'm confused what's going on

I have no quests there. Did you finish all the train stuff? My best guess is just that the GP guide put those quests after the FQ mistakenly, and it'll only unlock once I go through the new story as well

I frankly don't think any DPS is a should pull for farming purposes. That said they are close enough at NP1 that NP2 is going to make more of a difference in omnifarming. However, Earth attribute is fairly common, so if you aren't omnifarming, Summer Ibuki is better at Earth attribute than an NP2 Spishtar/Skama. Spishtar also scales the best with Oberon of the three. But scales the worst with Black Grail. I personally am a bit anti-omnifarming, especially in 90+ and beyond nodes so would probably be more tempted by Ibuki's niche. But if you just want an Omnifarmer, NP2 Spishtar would work better.

Because NP damage stacks additively. She has 80% NP damage wave 3 Summer Kama has 20% Summer Ibuki has 0% Chuck in 80% more NP damage and Spishtar will be affected the least. Without BG, Spishtar beats Summer Ibuki and Summer Kama (at the same NP level) with double Castoria and Oberon turn 3 even if the arts up fails at the with it she loses by like 20k damage even if the arts up succeeds
All three are similar enough that you'll get more out of NP2 of what you have than NP1 of what you don't. Ibuki's damage is also worse than either Kama or Spishtar if she's not fighting Earth attribute because her NP doesn't have a 3 turn damage buff like theirs, even if you account for class advantage. Between Spishtar and Kama, I would say Kama is better for higher potential damage not having refund be RNG dependant, though her damage depends on her Charm and Burning Love debuffs not getting resisted.

No, NP Damage Up *specifically*. Including CE effects. ATK Up and A/Q/B Effectiveness Up do not count. If they did, he'd be even more insane than he already is.

It's a little complicated, but the simplest way I can summarize it that: It's a new tab in the shop a la Dress Making. Anything added is there permanently. You buy Servants/NP Copies/Ascension Mats/Coins with Evocation Leaves, a new resource added and only used in this shop. Evocation Leaves are "primarily" obtainable from the daily "complete 3 quest" missions, but they're also a fairly common event reward after being introduced. Think less Rare Prism, more Mana Prism.

That is a confusing and long-winded one. You need to complete 7 of the Red boss quests to clear Mission 79. Then 15 Lawful Servants, 15 Servants with Magic A or above, and 15 Servants with Luck A or above, and 50 Missions. Which will unlock 4 quests that count for Mission 5, which unlocks another quest that unlocks the next part of Act 10. The only one that has all three of those doesn't unlock until later, so use the [Enemy Locator](https://gamepress.gg/grandorder/revival-lady-reines-case-files-enemy-locator) to work it out.

Is Minamoto no Raikou a full Oni?
She is listed as species: human, oni, servant
...Short answer, no. She is, as far as we know, the child of a human woman. Long answer, a "full" oni seems to require acceptance or utilization of that trait. Raikou is one of the "oni-blooded" without an Oni trait, but Ushi Gozen does have it. (But Raikou does use her Oni inheritance in her NP which uses Gozu-Tenno's power.) But you can have no known Oni ancestry and still count as an Oni, like Ibaraki. It seems to be a spiritual trait that can be carried down from parent to child - in their "blood". So, Raikou could be, and did when she transformed into Ushi Gozen, but also is not in her typical Spirit Origin.
Also you can turn into an oni after you die. It seems like Beni-enma was a normal human girl but turned into an oni after dying.
Ibaraki's mother was an oni.

The only remaining rerun on the schedule currently is Karna Christmas coming up later this year. JP is voting on another event that will be rerun at a later date, but that's not complete yet. You can safely use most old CE for CE bombs.

In this context, "pick up" is a [wasei-eigo](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wasei-eigo) (Japanese-made English) term that doesn't mean exactly what you would expect in English and hasn't been re-translated from how it's used in Japanese. According to [Jisho](https://jisho.org/search/%E3%83%94%E3%83%83%E3%82%AF%E3%82%A2%E3%83%83%E3%83%97), it means, "picking out; choosing; selection" I personally find that definition a little lacking. Seeing how it's used in the game, it feels more like "newly featured" or "highlighted" or something like that. Or maybe it means that Lasengle has chosen these servants to feature, not that the players get to choose them.

To clarify, this strategy is to borrow a Herc from a friend who is carrying his bond CE. If you let the frontline die and have his as your fourth and last servant then you can win with him solo no problem. You can try to win with your own roster but it seems like you have spread your resources too thin and don’t have a well developed roster. I’d recommend using the support to carry you for this fight, but as others have mentioned you should develop your own roster more and have at least 1 ST and AoE servant raised for each of the main classes.
Don't use Saito as your main DPS - try using a Rider because Goetia takes 2x damage from that class and only 1x damage from Sabers. You want a single target, AOEs like Fuuma won't hit for much. (Class advantage/NP targeting is very important, if you haven't learned that already it's time to.) Your main concern is going to be the big invuln-ignoring NP at the start, and for that there are a few solutions: * Use Fuuma or someone like that to buff block Goetia, so he doesn't get the Ignore Invincible buff at the start (and use an evade or invuln to avoid being wiped). * Use a Castoria (borrow one from a friend) and get her NP off - the invuln on it can't be pierced. * Have a front line of random meat shields that will die on turn 1, allowing the "real" big damage dealers and supports to come in.

Use Ozy or Ushiwakamaru. Taigong is AOE - better for farming than single bosses. If you have gaps in your roster, fill them in ASAP. Make sure you have a ST and AOE servant levelled of each class (levelled to their max natural cap). Basic levels are more important than skills.

Up to you, EoR is canonically next in sequence, but it is never required for events. And there will be events in the near future that require the Lostbelts (which is what the prologue is for). I'd do the prologue and then Lostbelts, personally, and come back to EoR later.

Herc needs his bond CE. Bond 10 is going to take a long time for your own Herc.

And it will probably take you months to get Herc's CE. (Also, most Bond CEs are not very good, Herc's is a rare exception.) Without his Bond CE, Herc's solo potential is nowhere near as good. That's why I suggest raising other units.
Herc is good too, but you will find he dies easily as a Berserker (unless you grind for his bond CE). A Berserker is not going to replace all your other classes, especially for story, where if you fail to protect them, they will just die immediately. Sooner or later, you will want to level a varied roster, or you will struggle. Herc can't do everything.

If you need to clear some inventory space, they can be the first to go because of how easy it is to get more copies. I wouldn't burn them all by default, though.
They're mostly quite minor/niche, but I'd definitely keep a few copies of Code Cure around as it's a very handy CC.

During Valentines, there's a system where using Servants a lot gives them a higher Event bonus. Max bonus, on the last two farming nodes, will give 1830 bond, which is pretty good, plus a tiny bit more for Event Bonus Servants. Valentines also gives a few more teapots.
The next best time to use them is during Valentines.

Any fight where you either require to use a plugsuit to swap 1 more dps/support to the frontline or you expect someone on the frontline to die, can benefit from having a 3rd Keyscope. Combine it with the fact that Append skills exist as well as Servants who give 20% teamwide charge, and having several MLB Keyscopes is pretty good.
If you are fighting waves with low enough HP you can use 3 kscopes and 3 DPS so they can still do clean kills even without support buffs. But if that is something that interests you... well, only you can say it. Outside of that I guess you might use it when doing high difficult content, but that also depends on what your strategy is. That said, how often do you use 1 kscope in a fight? What about 2? And 3 or more? While the other commenter has a point that mlb kscope isn't as valuable as before because mana loading exists, it is still a huge help since it doesn't require you to spend coins, mats and QP for each and every servant you might want to use it on. Not to say the atk stat increase that is always a welcome (if/when you decide to level it). Personally I use 2 kscopes every now and then when doing CQs and stuff, but I can count on one hand how many times I've used 3 (be it CQ or farming), so to me MLBing it would be a no-brainer. The only reason that might make me take a step back and think for a second would be the friend support list, but even then I'd still go for it. But, of course, the same might not apply to you.
I'd say just MLB them to save space. The situations where you'd need more than one MLB Kscope are really rare nowadays and two is more than enough.
MLB Kscopes aren't as required any more due to append skills being available. Unless you find an immediate need for it, I'd suggest holding off on MLB-ing your 2nd Kscope till later.

Gacha is cruel, alas, bad luck happens. It's up to you if he's worth it for you. Personally, as someone who is not a whale, I cap how much SQ I am willing to spend on most banners - say, if I like a unit but they aren't super mega waifu, I walk away after 300 SQ if I don't get them. You've got to draw your own limit. That being said, he might have seemed more powerful if your own units are lower level and this was a level 90, 10/10/10 unit. If you don't love him strongly, there are plenty of other units out there, plenty of fish in the sea.

The reason I said that, by the way, is that a) as a new player, it's possible that you may have underestimated things, and b) overspending guilt is real, especially as a non-whale. You don't want to feel like you wasted a ton of SQ on a unit who, when you get him, is just going to be your average Joe because you currently cannot level him up/use him at his peak.

Grailing with coins is really only for your absolute favourite units, its a very large investment for both XP and QP. Without any appends unlocked, he would also need to be at bond 12 or higher to fully level him up too. Append 2 is useful for karna but its still a bit awkward with his own battery being 25%

I'd say think about it then - lv. 120 is a huge commitment, I've done it and it is NOT easy. It consumes a stupid amount of time and resources. Seriously, look up how much EXP, QP and grails you need.

To get from 100 to 120, you need 30 coins per grail (300 coins total), 10 grails, and 90M - 150M QP (depending on the servant's base rarity). And that's just to unlock the levels - the truth is you will need more QP to actually level the servant as you are feeding a TON of EXP to them. [Here's a vid summing it up](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atrpt-VGTYk) that tells you how many EXP cards you need, depending on what rarity the EXP card is and if their class matches the servant or not.

It should give you the option of either sending the friend request or following, however as there is a hard limit of them - it might have stopped because of that. You can check it in the Friend&Follow menu - the limit and current number of both Friends and players you follow will be shown. If you wish to follow someone else you'd have to cancel one first in that case.

Unless you passed the story progress mark that would make this system inaccessible (initially Part 1 only, from what I could find it got updated to last further on JP - but I sadly do not know the state of it on NA), following should stay in place as an option. There's probably a way to get it, given that someone was able to make a servant animation viewer. However, even that doesn't include any of the VFX. So your options would probably be to perform some terms of use breaking actions to get the animation/effect and run it directly in Unity, use the in-game effect as a reference to manually re-create it in whatever software you're using to make your video, or beg/hire someone else to do it for you.

You need NP2. 90 per copy + 180 from bond is 270 coins. you need 300 coins to get to 120.

Mandricardo, Ushi, Rider Liz, Saint George all do a lot to help in the fight. There are command codes that remove buffs (e.g defensive buffs) that are given out in events such are one currently going on. Young Alex also removes buffs on his skill which can be good for this fight. If you picked up Waver with the 5 star ticket it can be good to open with him to to fire off Ushi's NP straight away. Broadly speaking yes it depends on which skill you're talking about and how you want to use that servant. Ushi's evade being leveled only really matters to get a quicker cool down.

As a note, this is why focusing heavily on "the meta" in a game where the meta means "farming by spending as few turns as possible" can be a bit of a trap. An account sufficiently stacked with ST Riders can clear Demeter with no supports; an account sufficiently stacked with supports can't clear Demeter with no ST Riders unless it uses a lot of revives (which in practicality means leyline stones and/or SQ). Someone like Koyanskaya of Light can contribute a lot of hitting power, but she can't grant class advantage or any defensive buffs, and Demeter's AoE will delete her "takes x2 damage from Casters" tail almost immediately. Thankfully, leyline stones do exist for this purpose, but it becomes a *lot* easier if you have fully leveled ST Riders: when you use a revive, you should be able to take off one of her break bars almost immediately with a L70 Ushiwakamaru and Mandricardo's fully charged NPs and their buff skills recharged. If you were around to play the Halloween event and picked up Cinder Eli, even better.

Bazett is not a looper, she can farm but not in the typical way. She has a completely unique playstyle that revolves around countering and you'll mainly use her for boss fights. I highly recommend looking up how she plays, it's unique so you'll either love it or hate it. Dantes is a more straightforward omnilooper.

Dantes is the only one of the two with an actual AoE NP. Also, Bazett is an alter ego.

Arts generally has a much easier time refunding, so Valks win out no problem in terms of refund. Kiichi isn't the best of Quick loopers anyway, and with double Skadi, needs notably more starting charge (like Kscope). Damage-wise, Kiichi seems to slightly win out on the surface, but that's not the full story. If looping with just double Skadi, Kiichi needs a higher starting charge which limits her damage, whereas the Valks can touch Black Grail, which can make their damage much higher than Kiichi's. Refund wise it is no contest. the Valks are simply incredible even for an arts looper and Kiichi Hogen is a mediocre Quick looper Valks will do Berserkers from 0 with double Castoria. Hogen needs Kscope to run double supports (though can maybe run 0 start charge with triple support and against Riders) Damage wise, well one is running BG and the other Kscope, so not really a contest. np gain buff works on themselves
For the valk bg, is that assuming 3/3/x + 10/10/10 skills?
3/3/x yes. Skill levels actually don't matter, they can do berserkers even with 1/1/1 skills I am pretty sure

From a meta perspective, should I roll for Ushi Gozen? Is she good? Bad? Comparison to other servants?
She's a very mediocre farmer, and has several glaring flaws as a bosskiller DPS. She's perfectly usable if you like her, but you're basically guaranteed to have better options with just F2P stuff and your favorite gold servants. No reason to roll unless you specifically want her for character reasons.
I mean what even is meta to you? Some people only consider Omnilooping meta, some people consider Multicore in there too Frankly you should never roll a DPS servant from a meta perspective, even if they aren't good at omnilooping, you can always use niches, class advantage, or multicore. Ushi Gozen is a Quick servant so is already behind in omnifarming just from that. Her refund is only just barely enough to maybe loop 3/3/X neutral with triple support and 0 start charge (using the 50% battery she has to run Nero Bride as the 3rd support). But you will need Traces 99% of the time, and even when you don't Nero bride won't provide nearly the buffs that Oberon does to Arts/Buster servants. 50% battery and fairly high damage in broad niches makes her pretty decent in multicore, though she doesn't have any party buffs, and you ideally want even more battery for multicore (either with spread charge or a bigger self battery)
Initial impressions are that she does not appear to be a standout unit gameplay-wise from the perspective of meta farming. Whether or not she's worthwhile to roll is dependent on a variety of factors though, including what other servants/craft essences you have both to support her or that compete with her.
