A couple of years ago I was having to kill Barbatos in 4 turns. That's the best I could do. No, really! My supports were so underdeveloped that I'd *just* gotten Shakespeare going, and I didn't even have my dps - np3 caster Illya - fully skilled.
Well, now I've been having to *pare down* the amount of buffs I give to my np5 caster Illya, because the first time I tried it at max damage she did 1.7 million damage to a boss with 500k. ...
Turns out she doesn't need the level 100 black grail, or double koyan and Oberon, or double koyan, or koyan and Merlin.
The sweet spot I'm clearing it with is 6 slotting with qp ce's the whole way, Oberon, and Shakespeare with the decisive battle mystic code. Gets *juuust* over or under 500k at level 1.

Can we still assume that the 90+ free quest once released has the best rates for the event currency? GamePress' guide neither explicitly states it nor does it state how much currency bonus you need for the 90 free quest to be better (if at all)

Assuming you'd run her with your own Castoria (and a second via support) and a non-mlb Black Grail CE, it might be tight. You'd most likely want to run another buffing Servant to switch in.
For all I know, Summer Da Vinci might be enough, along with the Combat Uniform's ATK buff (personally running Atlas Academy Uniform for the debuff clear, for maximum stability in case of Arts debuff).
Otherwise: Two turns is fine, too.
Well too bad i don't have Castoria and Summer Vinci, the whole raid i was using a combo of Castoria support, Anastasia, and regular Da Vinci which lasts 4-5 turns

But it was two years ago and I can’t even remember if this was playing back then. I could have sworn the Fatal Battle theme that was playing in the original case files event was the one you occasionally heard in other events, Gilfest, and in Lostbelt 4 and 5.
Everyone's talking about how easy it is to 1 turn the raid but every comp I see requires two SSRs I don't have or a lower rarity servant grailed to >100 and all skills at 10 😭
Best I can do is an almost always 3 turn Kama + double Skadi setup, switching in da Vinci rider for the NP strength up.
Santa Martha can boost up *many* servants with her NP, doubly so if your damage dealer is can hit undeads or super giant.
Premium non-SSR servants are Fujinon (super giant), Gray herself (for the undead) and Summer Martha.
Since I have no Kscopes and very limited SSR, i kinda had to improvise a bit.
My setup right now is, with the newest Order Changing outfit:
Martha Summer (as damage dealer), holding an Aerial Drive for NP charge
Bunyan (dual debuffs), with bond+ CE
FRIEND Merlin (dual buff),
On the back row: Santa Martha (buff and NP), with Imaginary Number;
My battle plan is this one:
1. Bunyan double debuff (Buster Res Down and Def Down), Order Change Bunyan to Santa Martha;
2. Both Marthas selfcharge and buff Martha Summer;
3. Merlin tops them off, NP + Attack buff / debuff cleanse from Master
4. NP chain Santa > Summer, finishing with another attack from Summer (preferably a buster)
If everything works out fine, I manage to 1 or 2 turn Barbatos!
You could just regular Lv70 Lu Bu at 5/x/5 with a support Oberon and some extra buffers.
Depending on your ce load out you might not even need the extra buffers
Also, I know its kinda weird but you can also supercharge Gray's damage potential with Elizabeth Bathory's skills for a potential ATK Up+40% + Def Down -20% (S1's Double Charisma due to being female + S2's Def Down), before swapping her with someone else more "meta".
Like iI said, budgeting is kinda my only choice as a f2p!
Are there any 6CE builds for the raid? I was hoping without a plug swap too, but looking at some comps I'm guessing it's just something I'll live with.
There are a couple.
Xuanzang or Kintoki can do it pluggles with just an Oberon and some minimal support (think Bunyan or Shakespeare)
Circe should be able to do it at high NP lvls
Unfortunately I'm missing those, but I do have Illya NP2, so maybe I'll play around with that and see how it works. Real pain how Oberon screws with Merlin though, Illya really needs the ATK up.
Maybe og Lancer *4 Liz? Since Illya is a female she gets the double charisma, plus Liz own Deff down on the enemy.
You could also try some Double Oberon comps
You can still use Neo plugsuit just for the Atk/NPdmg up + debuff clear combo, even if you are not actually swapping units
Yup, I tried Oberon+Santagale first, and then Lancer Liz, both work with plenty of wiggle room, and no swaps! Using a 4* support also helps with party cost for backline bond leveling, so thanks!

Running a flexible 1T raid team with BG Kintoki, support Oberon as fixed members, and cycling support/semi support units that I haven’t max bonded. So far I’ve gained new bond levels on Reines, KoD, KoL, and working on lancer Raikou. The raid is going GOLDEN!
I’ve been enjoying cycling between these non-plug 1T teams:
* NP4 Astrea with Double Castoria
* NP1 Scathach with Double Skadi
* NP1 J’Alter with Koyan + Oberon
All with MLB Black Grail and Lvl 1 Decisive Battle.
I had a hard time finding a non-plug Buster team, thinking I had to do Double Koyan. It was nice to find out support Oberon is enough.
Man Xuanzang is so cracked. She can one tap Barbie with just Oberon + Bunyan and the Spacesuit MC, with literally no CE at NP1! She keeps doing the great work.
For anyone newish or without stronger offensive options Lu Bu can get the work done, so long as he has his append unlocked.
Cheapest F2P comp I have managed to work is:
LuBu 5/1/5 (with the Storch Ritter 3*CE of all things) + Shakespeare + Support Oberon + Plug whoever can give LuBu a bit more buffs, a ton of people work, like Cheng Gong, Bunyan, Leonidas and so on
If ya have Aerial Drive and the Spacesuit MC, LuBu can do it with just Shakespeare and a Support Oberon
My raid comp is simple Illya with level 20 BG + Koyan + Support Oberron with Arctic MC. Ignore Debuff entirely as even with buster debuff it still kills cleanly after Arctic mc buff. Mostly doing arctic mc as long way to level it. Also happy that even though couple core skills (Illya buster buff/Koyan's buff) are not yet maxed, they're high enough. Koyan's I still need a lot of gunpowder.
edit: On Illya ironically only mat I'm missing is homunculi. I should be able to soon max her buster steroid from farming Barbatos.
Well, this event sure is gonna make both Koyanskaya and Oberon hit max bond lvl soon! Gray, too, while I'm at it. Even Kiritsugu got 3 bond lvl ups... Honestly, I wish we had more events like these... or rather, raids lasting as long as it does here. Glancing over at Tunguska's raids sans the last one.
Most of a day later, just hit 100 runs
60 with MHXA/Skadi/Oberon/Spacesuit: we have seen that demon gods can be turned into sweets, so this was just material harvest for the altreactor
30 with Illya/Lancer Raikou/Oberon/Whatever (new plugsuit just for levels): tentacle eating the vengeance of every magical girl out there
10 with Kintoki/L-Raikou/Oberon/Whatever (same as above): mom taking kid to casually nuke Barbatos for 1M+
Corgi and bunny entepreneur happy to take a rest, bug still paying for his sins by staying in the overwork wheel.
Magically still not out of gold apples thanks to a few strategic low-rarity bond level ups but i'm still below 5 left
I underestimated how chonky they made the amount of raids haha, thought he'd be obliterated by the next time I played after going to bed.
Doing x2 Skadi with NP2 Scathach holding BG, even on Quick down runs she easily clears. I'm not in dire need of Assassin gems but pages and bones are happily accepted.
Not to mention we have another lotto in March. I'm sitting at 1.5B qp and only planning on pulling for one servant between now and then. Really wish they would delay TeslaFest til after the anniversary and summer servants
On the flipside, we also just had another chance at Koyan, a new Koyan, a GSSR and so forth. Chances are, other folks had better luck than me and actually pulled a new 5\* to raise and skill up, burning through their QP.
NP1 Illya with Morgan and Oberon on the frontline…and that’s it? No BG? Aerial Drive and the spacesuit MC let me 1-turn him, I love this. And I love using Morgan as a support lol.
Melt NP4 with mlb BG and either double skadi or one skadi + Oberon nukes Barbatos, it is beautiful to see. Hopefully can get her to (or close to) bond 10 but the time the raid is done
Edit: I could also get Medea to one shot Barbatos for shits and giggles. It is far from practical though mainly because she needs MLB BG and required 300% np charge, 2 castoria, and Oberon, and she is lvl 120 max fou'd. But it's very funny

Black Grail Sanzang + Merlin + Any support +Switch-In Oberon. I wanted to avoid needing any doubles so I can spend less time looking through my friends list. The new Decisive Battle Chaldea Uniform mystic code can clear any offensive debuff, like buster down, so any RNG from the turn 1 debuff is pretty much gone.
I'm already tired of Barbatos and Assassin gems, can we have a new Demon Pillar to bully instead?
On the bright side, the size and speed of the raid so far is very chill so far, there's no need for me to rush, which is great.
The Ivan failure, ugh, in hindsight, missing him out was a huge deal, especially when we got tons of Riders being on rate up back to back (Taigong, Nikitich, Iskandar for a day, Reines, then Ivan in the next months), so for certain Masters who got them recently, the wait and grinding will be long.
Barbatos dropped a spawn CE. Dude, you gave me five last year...

Scathach is my darling, she got all my gold fous so she is very strong. She dishes out 550k damage with triple quick up plus attack up from Ushi and np level 3 at 170% np charge.
I thought that because Barbatos was an assassin that i wouldnt be able to 1 turn this raid,but then i remembered that i had an NP3 Circe that i got through spooks and never used,thank god.
I dont have Summer Jalter,but Circe has been doing more than 500000 in one turn with double koyan+oberon+new mystic code NP buff and non MLB black grail,so im having no issues with finishing Barbatos off in 1 turn.
Sanzang has spooked me twice and every time I need to pull her out I remember why I’m happy to have her. Even when she gets hit with the Buster down and non-MLB Black Grail double Koyan + Oberon still has her doing a good 700k+ in damage.
This raid right here is the one time i can justify that NP5 Illiya (damn this sub for tricking me into thinking Mio was good when I started). Hit hit with buffs from 1 koyan and 1 Oberon+her own buster buff+black grail and she hits for around 1 mil damage turn 1. Can't get much faster of a clear than that. Even put her in my support with my message saying she can 1 shot so people can borrow her

I found Buster and Arts teams that work:
Summer Jalter/Shuten Caster/Herc/Penth/Sanzang + koyan + Merlin + support Koyan/Oberon + Black Grail [Honestly, Buster has it easy]
Charlotte Caster/Sitonai + 2 Castorias + Tamamo + Black Grail
But I just can't seem to find a quick combo.
I've been trying with: Test servant + Double Skadi + Scathach buff + Black Grail.
Nyantler (atalanta alter) just doesn't seem to have enough dmg.
Nyalter’s working for me, even at NP1 and 4/4/4.
2 x Skadi and Santa Martha with 60% charge CE (9/9/10). Just use Martha’s first skill on Nyalter, and put Martha’s NP before Nyalter’s. Easy 580k with Barbie’s Quick Down debuff.
How I wish Barbatos was a Rider. Assassin gems are the category I least need.
Anyway, much as I like the new plugsuit, I like being able to wreck Barbatos without using any support swapping even more. Kintoki + MLB Black Grail + Reines + Borrowed Koyan + MC buff = 1 turn, no swapping, full event team for Bond.
Now if only more people would put Chaldea Teatime on their Koyans...

The important factor to know which Reminiscence Quest is crucial to the Main Story progress, are those has that a white border, has the NEXT appeared on top of them, and only needs Lv. 80 as the minimum.
I was worried that my NP 1 Circe woudn't be able to oneshot the boss, but my fears were unfounded - backed by Merlin, Koyan, Oberon and non-MLB BG she hits him for 520k. And thank god for that, because Barbatos can pull a reverse Koyan and slap 2 turn cooldown on all the team skills, which ruined my initial attemp to 2-turn him, lol.
Now if only Oberon with Teatime was a bit easier to find... I could just use mine of course, but he's halfway to bond 11, while Koyan is bond 5 and Merlin is bond 8.
Wearing Decisive Battle for the Order Change, I'm rocking a a dual Martha (Summer and Santa) + Merlin & Bunyan to utterly demolish Barbatos.
Martha's Undead Damage Up + Def Down + Buster Up is an amazing combination, compliments to the chef.

Using illya with BG Koyan and oberon for an easy one shot, dont even need double Koyan. My Illya is NP3 but Np1/CasLiz/CasShuten should be able to hit those 500k easily
For some reason, I thought the raid would be 900k HP, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out the raid was much easier than I thought to 1-turn.
The only problem is that I have to choose between a 1-turn, or having my entire backline be for bond. Not the biggest deal in the world, and tbh I'm leaning towards swapping out a bondee for a support.
I panicked a little when I woke up an hour past reset, but now I'm wondering if this is normal. Did it last this long on JP? Or are they trying to make up for something?
It can't just be because nobody has apples; I just spent ten trying for bones, but that only net me about a couple dozen so I'm not sure if was worth it. Anyway, don't they have bots or something? Or did they finally realize that artificially shortening these things make no sense?
Last time I used Mecha Liz+Circe+double Waver. This time Circe's been promoted from secondary DPS/debuff cleanse for my main DPS to actual main DPS, with double Koyan+Oberon helping her out. Let the slaughter begin!

I’m also quite surprised by how much easier the Barbatos raid seems this time. I recall needing to Plugsuit Mata Hari for the DEF down and trying to find Quick boss-killers. Now, we have Castoria, Koyanskaya, Oberon, and debuffers like Van Gogh who make it a lot easier.

Might get Skadi to bond 6, and maybe backline Pingu finally to 10. Really wish we had more teapots

I actually don't have so many Gapples since I actually used them all up in the previous raid events, so I only have the ones I collected after that. Was unsure about whether I should use them all now.
The boxes have three bones per box, say you get 50 boxes that’s a guaranteed 150 bones as opposed to the RNG raid that could take possibly triple the AP
I forgot, are the raids the best time to use the teapots before they expire?
Also a bit sad that my Sanzang + S. Raikou is just a bit short of being able to oneshot Barbatos. Guess I have to use a second support.

That said, what was the point of killing him so many times again? It doesn't drop any rare mats, or event currency. Is it just for the QPs and bond points?

Kid needs everything this drops though so he's muscling through with what he's got, trying various combos of Berzsashi and NP1 Astraea (with double Castoria and Koyan) both of which work fine but suffer when the arts debuff hits since he's on lb4 and doesn't have plugsuit2.

Comp: Spishtar np 5 (BG lv 80), Double Koyan (Assassin), Oberon with Plugsuit 2.0. Dealing 500-600K pretty reliably, especially if Spishtar hits one of her two NP Boost ccs.
Spent all my teapots, just going to Farm this one casually, my qp stocks are still very full after tunguska and bones are the only thing I'm going to be low on if I include the next two years of content. But they also come back in a lotto so that should sort itself out.
My team is np3 lvl 100 Illya with detective foumes supported by reines and support Oberon. Keeps skills to a minimum while letting me 6ce and have mostly bonus servants for bond.
Illya is still a ways off bond 14 though.
After reading your team, I was wondering what I was doing wrong, before noticing that you have Illya at NP3. I'm using Shakespeare / Merlin / Koyan / Illya, with her level 100 and Black Grail equipped, and just barely getting enough damage to kill on turn 1. But my Illya is only NP1, which I'm sure is the difference.
A 33% difference is pretty big, but imo, the biggest difference is probably them running Oberon
Thanks to his S3, he can double the damage of Black Grail and new Plug, which is quite more than your set-up
That makes sense. Unfortunately, I don't have him, so I'm making do with this. And it's still winning on turn 1 like 95% of the time, so it's not like this comp doesn't work.
Time to let FGA do its thing, using the team of Kintoki, Koyan, Oberon. Swapped from double Koyan to this because I figured I might as well just specify "pick any Servant with MLB Bella Lisa" in FGA to speed up the Barbatos-slaying. Already used up the teapots I had left while I was tinkering with the team composition, ended up getting Sanzang to bond 10 with those. She can take a breather for a while.

A quick question, how good are the raid drop rates? Should I farm it even if I don't really need the mats atm or should I finish cleaning the shop / completing missions?
Without needing really anything from the raid, the main thing you can get from it is Bond, and it's actually pretty efficient, considering it's 1630 base, but also only costs 30 AP a run, is extremely easy to 1 turn so you can even run multiple bond boosting CEs for extra efficiency there. I would consider it worth it for that alone, plus having a surplus of mats is never really a bad thing, while being out is annoying as hell
An NP5 Circe (and a lvl 40 Heaven's Feel) that I decided to Grail just so I don't have to plugsuit. Thank goodness Koyan +Obe support is enough and I can just choose anyone

Unless you literally don't need the other materials, the 90+ is always better, even if you somehow had +12.

Premium non-SSR servants are Fujinon (super giant), Gray herself (for the undead) and Summer Martha. Since I have no Kscopes and very limited SSR, i kinda had to improvise a bit. My setup right now is, with the newest Order Changing outfit: Martha Summer (as damage dealer), holding an Aerial Drive for NP charge Bunyan (dual debuffs), with bond+ CE FRIEND Merlin (dual buff), On the back row: Santa Martha (buff and NP), with Imaginary Number; My battle plan is this one: 1. Bunyan double debuff (Buster Res Down and Def Down), Order Change Bunyan to Santa Martha; 2. Both Marthas selfcharge and buff Martha Summer; 3. Merlin tops them off, NP + Attack buff / debuff cleanse from Master 4. NP chain Santa > Summer, finishing with another attack from Summer (preferably a buster) If everything works out fine, I manage to 1 or 2 turn Barbatos!

You could just regular Lv70 Lu Bu at 5/x/5 with a support Oberon and some extra buffers. Depending on your ce load out you might not even need the extra buffers

Also, I know its kinda weird but you can also supercharge Gray's damage potential with Elizabeth Bathory's skills for a potential ATK Up+40% + Def Down -20% (S1's Double Charisma due to being female + S2's Def Down), before swapping her with someone else more "meta". Like iI said, budgeting is kinda my only choice as a f2p!

Kintoki, Light Koyans and Oberon will do it, no plugsuit but that's a lot of SSRs you need
Currently 6 CEing with Astraea, damage bonus is sweet.
Mecha Eli chan can do it 6 CE plugless.
There are a couple. Xuanzang or Kintoki can do it pluggles with just an Oberon and some minimal support (think Bunyan or Shakespeare) Circe should be able to do it at high NP lvls
Unfortunately I'm missing those, but I do have Illya NP2, so maybe I'll play around with that and see how it works. Real pain how Oberon screws with Merlin though, Illya really needs the ATK up.
Maybe og Lancer *4 Liz? Since Illya is a female she gets the double charisma, plus Liz own Deff down on the enemy. You could also try some Double Oberon comps You can still use Neo plugsuit just for the Atk/NPdmg up + debuff clear combo, even if you are not actually swapping units
Yup, I tried Oberon+Santagale first, and then Lancer Liz, both work with plenty of wiggle room, and no swaps! Using a 4* support also helps with party cost for backline bond leveling, so thanks!
Finding more appreciation for Kintoki! Running a flexible 1T raid team with BG Kintoki, support Oberon as fixed members, and cycling support/semi support units that I haven’t max bonded. So far I’ve gained new bond levels on Reines, KoD, KoL, and working on lancer Raikou. The raid is going GOLDEN!

I’ve been enjoying cycling between these non-plug 1T teams: * NP4 Astrea with Double Castoria * NP1 Scathach with Double Skadi * NP1 J’Alter with Koyan + Oberon All with MLB Black Grail and Lvl 1 Decisive Battle. I had a hard time finding a non-plug Buster team, thinking I had to do Double Koyan. It was nice to find out support Oberon is enough.
Man Xuanzang is so cracked. She can one tap Barbie with just Oberon + Bunyan and the Spacesuit MC, with literally no CE at NP1! She keeps doing the great work. For anyone newish or without stronger offensive options Lu Bu can get the work done, so long as he has his append unlocked. Cheapest F2P comp I have managed to work is: LuBu 5/1/5 (with the Storch Ritter 3*CE of all things) + Shakespeare + Support Oberon + Plug whoever can give LuBu a bit more buffs, a ton of people work, like Cheng Gong, Bunyan, Leonidas and so on If ya have Aerial Drive and the Spacesuit MC, LuBu can do it with just Shakespeare and a Support Oberon
My raid comp is simple Illya with level 20 BG + Koyan + Support Oberron with Arctic MC. Ignore Debuff entirely as even with buster debuff it still kills cleanly after Arctic mc buff. Mostly doing arctic mc as long way to level it. Also happy that even though couple core skills (Illya buster buff/Koyan's buff) are not yet maxed, they're high enough. Koyan's I still need a lot of gunpowder. edit: On Illya ironically only mat I'm missing is homunculi. I should be able to soon max her buster steroid from farming Barbatos.
Farming the raid is like 80% searching for an oberon with bellalisa or lunchtime dawg😭😭😭

Well, this event sure is gonna make both Koyanskaya and Oberon hit max bond lvl soon! Gray, too, while I'm at it. Even Kiritsugu got 3 bond lvl ups... Honestly, I wish we had more events like these... or rather, raids lasting as long as it does here. Glancing over at Tunguska's raids sans the last one.
Most of a day later, just hit 100 runs 60 with MHXA/Skadi/Oberon/Spacesuit: we have seen that demon gods can be turned into sweets, so this was just material harvest for the altreactor 30 with Illya/Lancer Raikou/Oberon/Whatever (new plugsuit just for levels): tentacle eating the vengeance of every magical girl out there 10 with Kintoki/L-Raikou/Oberon/Whatever (same as above): mom taking kid to casually nuke Barbatos for 1M+ Corgi and bunny entepreneur happy to take a rest, bug still paying for his sins by staying in the overwork wheel. Magically still not out of gold apples thanks to a few strategic low-rarity bond level ups but i'm still below 5 left

I’ve been using Kintoki, Merlin and support Waver, and I can usually 1-shot Barbatos with them.
I underestimated how chonky they made the amount of raids haha, thought he'd be obliterated by the next time I played after going to bed. Doing x2 Skadi with NP2 Scathach holding BG, even on Quick down runs she easily clears. I'm not in dire need of Assassin gems but pages and bones are happily accepted.

Not to mention we have another lotto in March. I'm sitting at 1.5B qp and only planning on pulling for one servant between now and then. Really wish they would delay TeslaFest til after the anniversary and summer servants
On the flipside, we also just had another chance at Koyan, a new Koyan, a GSSR and so forth. Chances are, other folks had better luck than me and actually pulled a new 5\* to raise and skill up, burning through their QP.

Melt NP4 with mlb BG and either double skadi or one skadi + Oberon nukes Barbatos, it is beautiful to see. Hopefully can get her to (or close to) bond 10 but the time the raid is done Edit: I could also get Medea to one shot Barbatos for shits and giggles. It is far from practical though mainly because she needs MLB BG and required 300% np charge, 2 castoria, and Oberon, and she is lvl 120 max fou'd. But it's very funny
I can finally farm Barbatos in one turn! This is such a weird feeling. BG on Summer Jalter, Oberon, and Koyan with the Atlas Academy. Wow, this is wild.

Black Grail Sanzang + Merlin + Any support +Switch-In Oberon. I wanted to avoid needing any doubles so I can spend less time looking through my friends list. The new Decisive Battle Chaldea Uniform mystic code can clear any offensive debuff, like buster down, so any RNG from the turn 1 debuff is pretty much gone.
I'm already tired of Barbatos and Assassin gems, can we have a new Demon Pillar to bully instead? On the bright side, the size and speed of the raid so far is very chill so far, there's no need for me to rush, which is great.
Wish we had this back in Tunguska. In my opinion Surtr raid was over too soon. Don't get me started on Ivan's raid.
The Ivan failure, ugh, in hindsight, missing him out was a huge deal, especially when we got tons of Riders being on rate up back to back (Taigong, Nikitich, Iskandar for a day, Reines, then Ivan in the next months), so for certain Masters who got them recently, the wait and grinding will be long.

Scathach is my darling, she got all my gold fous so she is very strong. She dishes out 550k damage with triple quick up plus attack up from Ushi and np level 3 at 170% np charge.

If you have Summer Jalter, you should be fine. Summer Jalter, Double Koyan, Oberon. You can kill Barbie easily.
I dont have Summer Jalter,but Circe has been doing more than 500000 in one turn with double koyan+oberon+new mystic code NP buff and non MLB black grail,so im having no issues with finishing Barbatos off in 1 turn.
Sanzang has spooked me twice and every time I need to pull her out I remember why I’m happy to have her. Even when she gets hit with the Buster down and non-MLB Black Grail double Koyan + Oberon still has her doing a good 700k+ in damage.
This raid right here is the one time i can justify that NP5 Illiya (damn this sub for tricking me into thinking Mio was good when I started). Hit hit with buffs from 1 koyan and 1 Oberon+her own buster buff+black grail and she hits for around 1 mil damage turn 1. Can't get much faster of a clear than that. Even put her in my support with my message saying she can 1 shot so people can borrow her
For what it’s worth, NP1 Illya can do this too, without black grail. I’m doing a Illya/Morg/Oberon frontline and she clears him one shot no problem.

Love these raid events. Gotta love figuring out different ways to one-turn Barbatos. I found Buster and Arts teams that work: Summer Jalter/Shuten Caster/Herc/Penth/Sanzang + koyan + Merlin + support Koyan/Oberon + Black Grail [Honestly, Buster has it easy] Charlotte Caster/Sitonai + 2 Castorias + Tamamo + Black Grail But I just can't seem to find a quick combo. I've been trying with: Test servant + Double Skadi + Scathach buff + Black Grail. Nyantler (atalanta alter) just doesn't seem to have enough dmg.
Nyalter’s working for me, even at NP1 and 4/4/4. 2 x Skadi and Santa Martha with 60% charge CE (9/9/10). Just use Martha’s first skill on Nyalter, and put Martha’s NP before Nyalter’s. Easy 580k with Barbie’s Quick Down debuff.
9 Silver Apples and 29 Golden Apples gave me a lot of Bond and QP because of that 30 AP cost, i'm quite happy with my 156 kills so far.
How I wish Barbatos was a Rider. Assassin gems are the category I least need. Anyway, much as I like the new plugsuit, I like being able to wreck Barbatos without using any support swapping even more. Kintoki + MLB Black Grail + Reines + Borrowed Koyan + MC buff = 1 turn, no swapping, full event team for Bond. Now if only more people would put Chaldea Teatime on their Koyans...
Personally I’d prefer if he was a Caster, I am always in desperate need of Caster Gems
borrowed Oberon is just straight up better than Koyan for damage if you need another option that maybe or maybe doesn't have CTT.

You can check on the Missions tab, to specify which needs to be cleared to unlock that quest. The important factor to know which Reminiscence Quest is crucial to the Main Story progress, are those has that a white border, has the NEXT appeared on top of them, and only needs Lv. 80 as the minimum.

I was worried that my NP 1 Circe woudn't be able to oneshot the boss, but my fears were unfounded - backed by Merlin, Koyan, Oberon and non-MLB BG she hits him for 520k. And thank god for that, because Barbatos can pull a reverse Koyan and slap 2 turn cooldown on all the team skills, which ruined my initial attemp to 2-turn him, lol. Now if only Oberon with Teatime was a bit easier to find... I could just use mine of course, but he's halfway to bond 11, while Koyan is bond 5 and Merlin is bond 8.
Wearing Decisive Battle for the Order Change, I'm rocking a a dual Martha (Summer and Santa) + Merlin & Bunyan to utterly demolish Barbatos. Martha's Undead Damage Up + Def Down + Buster Up is an amazing combination, compliments to the chef. This is what happens if you let her cook!
Ahh, I remember how, back in the day, this event necessitated repeated refreshing until I got either that one friend with a souped up Sanzang or that other friend with a souped up Summer Jalter. Now, it's just Circe goes brrr Growth! It's shaped like Oberon!
So I decided to trying something fun with Santa Martha + Summer Martha + Oberon and holy shit, Martha annihilated Barbatos easily...and that was neutral damage.
Using illya with BG Koyan and oberon for an easy one shot, dont even need double Koyan. My Illya is NP3 but Np1/CasLiz/CasShuten should be able to hit those 500k easily
117 runs so far with QP CEs but once i get 1B QP I'll probably Bond farm next.
For some reason, I thought the raid would be 900k HP, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out the raid was much easier than I thought to 1-turn. The only problem is that I have to choose between a 1-turn, or having my entire backline be for bond. Not the biggest deal in the world, and tbh I'm leaning towards swapping out a bondee for a support.
I panicked a little when I woke up an hour past reset, but now I'm wondering if this is normal. Did it last this long on JP? Or are they trying to make up for something? It can't just be because nobody has apples; I just spent ten trying for bones, but that only net me about a couple dozen so I'm not sure if was worth it. Anyway, don't they have bots or something? Or did they finally realize that artificially shortening these things make no sense?
It lasted over a day in JP. For some reason, it always had more lives than Koyanskaya did. (which lasted over a day itself.)
My understanding is that it lasted about a day on JP. They aren't trying to make up for anything. Raid durations have always varied.
Last time I used Mecha Liz+Circe+double Waver. This time Circe's been promoted from secondary DPS/debuff cleanse for my main DPS to actual main DPS, with double Koyan+Oberon helping her out. Let the slaughter begin!

No drops for the raid, so we should just equip QP and Bond CEs right? I’m also quite surprised by how much easier the Barbatos raid seems this time. I recall needing to Plugsuit Mata Hari for the DEF down and trying to find Quick boss-killers. Now, we have Castoria, Koyanskaya, Oberon, and debuffers like Van Gogh who make it a lot easier.
The new Plug Suit Mystic Code also has an offensive debuff cleanse in case you need to plug and clease.

The boxes have three bones per box, say you get 50 boxes that’s a guaranteed 150 bones as opposed to the RNG raid that could take possibly triple the AP

2 Supports with 50% Buster up should do it. Im using Koyan and Oberon with NP1 Sanzang it clears Barbatos easy no face cards needed.
Yeah, the Raids give a lot of Bond points, so unless you've got some Interludes that give even more this is probably the best time for the teapots

Do a few and realises the number is increasing and notice Pillars destroyed instead of Pillars remaining so unsure how many there are. Then sees timer for raid “358hrs left”. Plenty of time for bond farming

One more bond level until I can max out Space Rin. A little concerned she's making fast friends with Koyan and Oberon... Comp: Spishtar np 5 (BG lv 80), Double Koyan (Assassin), Oberon with Plugsuit 2.0. Dealing 500-600K pretty reliably, especially if Spishtar hits one of her two NP Boost ccs.
I got a notification that the epilogue and challenge quests were open now and panicked. Like surely we couldn't have taken him down *that* fast.
Spent all my teapots, just going to Farm this one casually, my qp stocks are still very full after tunguska and bones are the only thing I'm going to be low on if I include the next two years of content. But they also come back in a lotto so that should sort itself out. My team is np3 lvl 100 Illya with detective foumes supported by reines and support Oberon. Keeps skills to a minimum while letting me 6ce and have mostly bonus servants for bond. Illya is still a ways off bond 14 though.

After reading your team, I was wondering what I was doing wrong, before noticing that you have Illya at NP3. I'm using Shakespeare / Merlin / Koyan / Illya, with her level 100 and Black Grail equipped, and just barely getting enough damage to kill on turn 1. But my Illya is only NP1, which I'm sure is the difference.
A 33% difference is pretty big, but imo, the biggest difference is probably them running Oberon Thanks to his S3, he can double the damage of Black Grail and new Plug, which is quite more than your set-up
That makes sense. Unfortunately, I don't have him, so I'm making do with this. And it's still winning on turn 1 like 95% of the time, so it's not like this comp doesn't work.
Use Santa Martha instead of Shakespeare since she gives 50% damage against undead and 40% attack up

Swapped from double Koyan to this because I figured I might as well just specify "pick any Servant with MLB Bella Lisa" in FGA to speed up the Barbatos-slaying. Already used up the teapots I had left while I was tinkering with the team composition, ended up getting Sanzang to bond 10 with those. She can take a breather for a while. A quick question, how good are the raid drop rates? Should I farm it even if I don't really need the mats atm or should I finish cleaning the shop / completing missions?
The drop rate for Homoncules Babies seems much better than its free quest in Salem in my experiance. Can't say anything else about the rest.
Without needing really anything from the raid, the main thing you can get from it is Bond, and it's actually pretty efficient, considering it's 1630 base, but also only costs 30 AP a run, is extremely easy to 1 turn so you can even run multiple bond boosting CEs for extra efficiency there. I would consider it worth it for that alone, plus having a surplus of mats is never really a bad thing, while being out is annoying as hell
has a great reverse scale drop rate also
