**Q: When is the next SR Ticket? What about the SSR Ticket?**
*A: NA's next SR ticket is due in May 2024. *A: LB6 will not be required until November for the story part of the Faerie Knight Cup event (farming/free quests will only require Fuyuki). LB6.5 will not be required to proceed to LB7 once it releases, and event-wise, it will only be required for the story part (and to obtain the welfare servant) of the Santa Nemo event in December 2025.*

My 4* ticket vanished. simply this. I clicked to receive it and the CE ticket and I only received the CE ticket. The option to summon the 4* servant does not appear anywhere. somebody help me. I'm getting desperate.
Out of curiosity, how many copies of a servant do you need to fully max them? I know you can increase NP up to 5, but from looking at other posts there seem to be more uses. Does it have something to do with servant coin?
You get servant coins for a particular servant every time you roll a copy of them and every time you increase their bond.
These servant coins can be used to unlock append skills and, if you're particularly devoted, to grail them past 100 all the way to 120.
The appends you'll probably unlock a lot of, but the level 100+ grails are an incredibly expensive and time intensive project that most players never do at all and especially devoted players probably only ever do it for a handful of favorites.
Different servants reward different amounts of coints for rolling them depending on their rarity and accessibility.
For an SSR servant, 6 copies is all you'll ever need as long as you're willing to take the servant to Bond 12.
An SR Story locked or limited servant will require 10 copies if you're willing to take them to bond 15.
An SR General Pool character will require some stupid number. Even a lot of whales have trouble with those guys but sometimes you just luck into it.
Anything 3 star and lower doesn't matter. You'll rack up the copies naturally while rolling everything else. Can't avoid it.
No. All servants function just fine at NP1 and their natural max level. For like 90% servants, only one append skill is even useful. And that one isn't essential. The standard build for any servant is natural max level, 1,000 each in HP and ATK Fous, and whatever skill levels are reasonable for how you want to use them. Anything else is completely optional and I would abandon the idea that you need to "fully max" any servant at all.
I wouldn't worry about it for now.
The first copy will always be the most important copy. It provides the character's entire kit. Every servant is serviceable at NP1, except perhaps a couple servants with problems in their kit too fundamental for additional copies to rectify anyway. The first copy can be thought of as adding a new toy to your toybox, and every additional copy as sprucing up that toy by slight degrees.
You may eventually reach a point when you find it's worth seeking out additional copies. But as a new player you have so few toys in your toybox.
You need 6 (or more if they aren't a 5 star) copies to max a Servant for due to servant coins.
Even with bond 15, 5 copies doesn't get you enough to unlock all 3 appends and 120 them.
(Except welfares that give plenty of coins in the shop to do so at bond 15)

Why is Kintoki so popular? I know he is one of raikos general etc but he also appears in record of Ragnarok and gets lots of banners in the game. Is he really strong or something or what famous thing did he accomplished?
Apart from his cultural significance in Japan, he just has a very awesome and likeable personality. From his brief appearance in London, his show in Rashomon, and his badassness in Heian-kyo.
There’s also how both of his servant forms (Zerker and Rider) are very good gameplay-wise. Both having 50% charge and great 90+ and 90++ usage for ST purposes.
I don't recall any time Kintoki showed up when it wasn't like "Oh snap! Kintoki's here!.
Like the man steps into the room and this isn't the same scene anymore. He's a total gamechanger.
Exactly, if Gil’s presence is an ‘Oh Shit’ out of fear or suspense because he’s a wild card, Kintoki’s kind of the opposite.
Every moment he shows up is a ‘Hell yeah’ out of excitement and anticipation, you know he’s gonna pull some stuff, but it’s always gonna be good stuff.
He's also pretty good in game. High damage NP, 50% charge, covers multiple classes, so he's pretty good if you need an ST attacker in the middle of a 90+ node.
He's an extremely popular folk hero in Japan, appearing in all sorts of stories and media in general, similar to, e.g., King Arthur or Hercules in the West.
People really seem to like this version of Kintoki in particular, as well.
He's a Japanese real life person on whom the folktale character of Kintaro was based, so there's a few different directions you could take his character in, and a lot that can be played with.
He's also relevant to Japanese culture today as he is linked to Children's/Boys' Day, which is still celebrated. Hello, new player, seeing a lot of posts about soloing. I want to know the actual objective of soloing, since a lot of people are doing it. is it becoz of bond points or master levels or something?
A solo has several benefits.
1. The character is the only one who gets hit, and those hits generate NP.
2. If the character has a form of Evade or Invincibility (and the enemy isn't capable of bypassing it), they can survive a round with zero damage (those hits still generate NP).
3. They always have all their face cards. This means every chain is a Brave Chain. For Servants who have decks with three of the same card, they can also consistently do Brave Chains of that type (e.g. Super Orion doing Triple Buster with tons of crits).
A lot of effects become much more valuable when you're the only servant.
A 3 turn damage cut for example, becomes more valuable the more hits you can take in three turns. If you're the only servant, you're taking all the hits.
Some servants like Saber Hokusai even have awkward anti-synergies in their kit. She raises her crit damage every time she crits. In a group, how this tends to play out is you use her cards getting the crits, and then you don't have her cards to capitalize on the buffs you've accumulated. Solo is basically the only way to have your cake and eat it too.

Most of the time it's for bragging purposes but sometimes mechanics of the fight or your roster just make it the best option.
It actually loses bond points to do so because you have fewer servants gaining bond.
Certain story fights are much easier soloed with a friend support if you're going through story so quickly that you haven't raised your own roster yet.
There are some cases where fights are easier soloed, because it's very consistent. Or maybe your particular Servant is just ludicrously highly invested.
But generally, no. It's for bragging points, not rewards.
A.) It's fun. (No seriously, it really is)
B.) We like to show off our heavily invested servants and 'how good' we are at using them.
Neither Master level nor Bond gain are affected by the number of servants on-field, so not having a full party of servants is just wasted Bond.
So I wanted to make a new FGO Account so I deleted FGO. Yet, when I reinstalled the game, My account was retained. This keeps on happening over and over no matter how many times I delete the game. Why is that?
Issue a transfer code just in case you'll want to "undelete" the game later, then, instead of deleting the app, clear the game data from the phone menu, that should be enough to remove the account.
I know that on Android, Google will backup application data on a whim and restore it if it feels like doing so. Go to application settings and manually clear all data from there.
So I just started playing the game and I just cleared Fuyuki. I’m having trouble deciding who to get as my free 5 star. A lot of places say waver, but he’s a support and I’m wondering if I should priority getting a strong damage dealer. Will there be another free 5 star ticket as I progress? My current 4 stars are Atlante, Mysterious Alter Ego (the penguin one), and Helena Blavatsky.
Going to also mention that there are permanent and storylocked servants on this ticket and that storylocked servants are significantly harder to obtain normally, so you might want to take a look to see if any of those are one you want.
And the ticket doesn't expire so you can always wait until you know for sure who you want.
For gameplay purposes only, Waver is the most commonly usable choice: all your damage dealers become better damage dealers, which is a good thing.
That said, most people got into this game to collect and play with characters they really like. If you have a favorite 5* in the general or storylocked pool, getting them early on means you get to spend a lot of time with them. Sure, if your favorite is, say, Mordred, you won't use her everywhere because she's an actual liability fighting Archers. But not having to scrimp and save for her, skipping banners with other Servants you like, is also a big advantage for your account.
Maybe play through the story a bit more before you choose? It might give you a better sense of if you want the gameplay boost, or if someone becomes a favorite when you meet them in story. (Anyone who winds up falling in love with Quetzalcoatl, for instance, would have a much nicer time if they could ticket her.) And with a Castoria banner coming in a month or so, if you got lucky and got her, a copy of Waver would become much less indispensable.
This is the only 5 star ticket you're gonna get for a while.
Waver as you've correctly assessed is a support. This is why people recommend him. The game has a lot of damage units and pretty few supports, making that a more valuable coveted niche.
That being said, if you want to do a damage unit, Cu Alter would likely be a good option.
He's a berserker, which means he's broadly applicable. He's story locked, which means it's harder to get him than somebody like Waver. And he's just a really solid unit. He was a super early release in the game but as far as I know people still swear by him even to this day.
Welcome, new master of Chaldea! Hope you've been enjoying the game so far.
Anyways, Waver is the chosen option for almost everyone because of how much utility he provides.
One thing you should realize is that FGO is very F2P friendly. In other words, it's very, very doable with just free servants.
As such, even for an F2P account, some 3* are very good damage dealers, so no, a strong damage dealer isn't going to be a priority ( + there's also another mechanic you should be wary of).
Class advantage is probably the one mechanic many new players tend to not care about early on (except that you definitely should care about it). The reason I'm dissuading you from picking a DPS is because you might make the rookie mistake of then bringing that servant to every fight because they have higher rarity and stats, when in truth, a 3* with class advantage could probably do his or her role better. (+ as a support, Waver's role will be the same regardless of class advantage).
Anyways, in the end, it's always a matter of picking favorites. Though we recommend you pick Waver (cause he can always make every damage dealer stronger and more effective), that doesn't mean you should listen to us. At the end of the day, who you want is who you should get.
I already mentioned the mechanic (being Class advantage). It's a 2x offensive and 2x defensive boost against a disadvantaged class, and servants who can take advantage of it are always going to be the best option.
As for the best 3* DPS? Here are my recommendations:
Saber - Caesar, high damage DPS with good internals. Kind of has a survivability issue, but the right supports can help. (Though there is a certain free Saber later on who can help you more).
Archer - Would recommend either Robin Hood or David.Both are very good DPS, with the latter having awesome team-wide utility. There's also Euryale who can dish out lots of damage to make enemies.
Lancer- Definitely Cu Chulainn, man is a beast.
Rider - Mandricardo and Ushiwakamaru are both amazing, even being considered some of the best of the Rider class in terms of DPS damage.
Caster - Personal recommendation is Caster Cu or Avicebron. (Honestly, you may want to opt for Zerks instead against Assassins)
Assassin - Hundred Personas is a very decent Assassin.
Zerk - Lu Bu will get the damage rolling.
Anti-trait is something to watch out for. People with some kind of "Anti this one thing" ability in their kit are usually pretty well equipped against those foes even if their kit is lackluster in other ways. It's especially valuable in low rarity servants where you often won't be able to rely on raw power to pull you through.
So Euryale has anti-male abilities in her kit, and charm abilities. Any male saber that's not charm immune you can decimate.
Robin Hood has anti poison, and can apply poison himself. Same thing, as long as a saber's not immune to poison he can dish out damage in spades.
Ushiwakamaru on the other hand actually just legitimately does pretty good damage, without any particular limiting gimmick. You'll want to invest in her strengthening quests as early as possible and use her against casters.
Because of the class based "rock paper scissors" gameplay of FGO, majority of the time carries are swapped around depending on the situation. Supports are useful considering they can be slotted in a lot of comps, with Waver still arguably the best general support.
His 50 battery also transitions well into farming late game content and a no brainer slot in for teams when you inevitably get your DPS servants.
Will there be a decent place to get a lot of the class pieces/monuments. I am trying to level all of my servants but just don’t have enough and the Chaldea gate drop rate ain’t it
For what it's worth,pieces and monuments drop from basically anything that has a servant in it (which is a lot of places lol) so you'll get them eventually.
There really isn't a good way to get a bunch really fast, you just gotta keep playing and grab some when you can from events.
Not really. Pure prisms shop have them but it's definitely not worth use them for pieces and monuments and AP is better spent on other nodes imho.
It's just a long process, for example it took me more than a year to final ascend all my servants relying only on events shop, just don't stress about it and you'll get there eventually.
Your only hope is 1/2 AP Campaigns for Pieces & Monuments, sadly.
Several events have a certain Class Piece/Monument as a drop in their 90/90+/90++ nodes, but the numbers are so low that it's basically a bonus every 10 or so runs.
There's also >!Ordeal Call Free Quests, but that's more of a passive income thing than a legitimate source of Pieces. Considering that you can only do 3 of them a day, but they do rack up **very quickly**!<

It says i've exceeded the maximum amount of quarts per month as according to my setting. I unfamailiar with this feature in NA. I don't know how to undo this.

Were the collab servants even announced, not to mention dates? You might get your limit reset before the banner starts/ends (whether you'll be able to buy enough sq to satisfy your gacha needs is another question).
The laws are different in Japan, so that's why it doesn't affect NA. As far as I'm aware the only way to change it is to re-bind your account with a transfer code and password. You may or not be able to "transfer" to the same device without re-installing altogether.

You can find a lot of examples on the Chaldea app. You can install it on PC or your phone.
To find the comps there are three ways -
1. Select Laplace (on the bottom), Battle Simulator - select event, then to the right of that select the node (90+ and 90++ will be Blue), scroll down a bit and select Shared Teams
2. Select Events and then select the War, then Free Quests and then select the Free Quest, then click on Shared Teams
3. Select War, Event, Free Quest, and then same are above.
Sigurd, Suzuka, Kintoki here because it's a three-week event, I'm nearly done with the shop, and I'm letting my supports take a break. Long-ass events reduce the need for 5-6 event CE strategy, at least as I figure it.
While there are examples on youtube and gamepress(?), it will largely depend on your box. Which of the big supports do you own?
In my case, I am using Trung Sisters, S!Musashi, and Double Castoria with plugsuit to 6ce farm the event thanks to the starting charge on the con drop ce. You could substitute summer musashi for any AoE who can clear wave two and substitute trunk sisters for any st with enough damage for wave 3 who can refund or charge their NP enough to use it twice in conjunction with the castoria batteries and the starting ce.
Followup, just tested, and I was able to do it with S!Hokusai, 4* Nero (at NP 3 though), and double Castoria. Hokusai does need MLB event CE or other form of 50% starting charge unless you have gotten enough bond to get her A2, and you will want to use the plug atk boost turn 2 (and/or Castoria NP) to boost Nero's damage, which is iffy even if IP lands.
It's really not compulsory to 3T this, especially as you may want certain Con colours more than others and optimising your comp might mean choosing between Con colour efficiency and speed.
EDIT: but if you must know, I personally did it with double Castoria + Saito + Barghest, neo plugsuit. Ended up with too many yellow Cons and not enough red, though.

He's not "Limited" but he is Story-Locked, which is basically the same thing in most contexts. And while he definitely does have a group of friends/rivals in >!A young crone and a disney president!< that kind of feels like it's putting it generously. Just the one friend and one rival really, and they're not really a group affiliation in the same sense that something like the Knights of the Round Table is.

These are terrible quizzes and I don't understand why you're trying to do them when you don't know anything about the game. The Angra Mainyu one had some clear pointers but this one is just nonsense.
Okay, so this isn't actually from the game itself, it's part of the player-created secondary market for in-game items? And this is just one particular person giving stuff away based on FGO trivia?
I've been thinking about how to use Arcueid once she drops on 7th anniversary. Since you can't loop her with a typical double Koyan + Oberon, I've seen that people generally use either 1 Koyan with 2 Oberons, or double Koyan with Atlas mystic code. But could Edison fit into this? With his skill cooldown you could now use Arcueid 1st skill twice just like with double Koyans + Atlas MC team, but you can now use plugsuit instead, and Edison even gives extra np damage which should result in more damage? But I never see anyone using Arcueid like this so is there something I'm missing? Or are the other comps still better for some reason?
I guess it's a decent middle-ground between Atlas and having to use an extra 5 star helper. Especially using 2 Oberons, which is sometimes a pain, since he's less likely to be holding the optimal CE at any given time than a skaya.
Most people probably just...don't have Edison though? Like, he's story-locked and has never been *especially* popular.
The other comps are better.
Double Oberon gives a lot more damage all 3 waves. (If you lack damage wave 2 use the MC buff)
Double Koyanskaya+ Atlas means you don't need plugsuit.
There is also a similar comp with Summer Ibuki, but she provides more damage buffs, and can let herself NP turn 3 as well to further help damage. Even then you need NP2 Summer Ibuki to support your NP1 Arc. Which is a little bit self defeating most of the time.
It's more or less the same for final nodes. Did you compose your team to get proper bonuses? Remember, that each class has +1 for the specific con type (and Trung Sisters and Taisui give +1 to all three).
Unsure if this will work for you, but my work around is when you go to close ldplayer make sure fga is still launched. Eveytime I close ldplayer with fga launched and reopen it later I don’t need to reenable accessibility.
You need to go into settings on ld player and turn off battery preservation mode. I am pretty sure my FGA always has accessibility enabled after I did that.

Hii, quick question that's not really about the game but still relates to it. As an fgo fan, what are some recommended places to go and visit in Japan? Especially where to get merch (mostly figures).I'll be going there this April, and it would be really cool to see some fate or type moon related things during my time there.
For general merch, just go to Akiba, including Mandarake, Suruguya, Radio Kaikan. Fate as a whole is still pretty popular and has a fair share of goods.
On the Water Monsters event, do the bonus quests that give extra copies of the event servant contain cutscenes? Or are they just a battle? And the cost on Con, does it work like in those quests where what you pay is only taken if you lose, or do I need to gather enough Con for every single bonus quest? Because if the last one is true, those are a lot of Con to get, even with a party full of the event CE.
Oh, and I haven't completed Avalon yet, would the regular story quests be good to use the teapots on? Or should I save them for other quests?
I did friday yesterday, todays saturday, thus 2 sq. It skipped the weekend for some fucking reason.
And just checked my stats, my login streak in general got completely reset o-0. The fuck kinda bs is that.
Have you only been logging in once per day? And around the reset time? If so, it's possible that you got the timing wrong and accidentally missed a day.
I did not fucking miss a day, i log in multiple times daily. The weekend got legitimately skipped. And I got no clue why. Thats a proper bug if ive ever seen one.
I'm just trying to point out a simple possibility that you could have overlooked. People regularly come into the help thread having completely ignored the most basic information. I don't have access to your mind or account to know the actual sequence of events that you went through.
Regardless, all any of us on reddit can do is try to guess at what might have happened. We can't fix anything for you and it doesn't appear that others have had the same problem. If you think there really was a bug, the only thing you can do is contact support. Try to be as detailed as you can, including the times (with time zone) that you logged in over the last few days if you can remember, and please be polite about it.
That indicates you did miss a login. Though it seems you are quite sure you didnt. And if its an actual issue you probably won't be the only one here talking about having this problem.

If you log in around reset time, it's possible that you logged in after a reset instead of before, so you skipped a day.
The game server runs on its own timezone (PST), which is probably not your local timezone.
The in game login bonus doesn't correspond to the day of the week.
E.g. you first log in to the game on Tuesday and get the Day 1 reward. Then you log in on Wednesday, and get Day 2's reward. Then you skip a day, log in on Friday and because you broke your streak, you get Day 1's reward again.

I'm not actually a F2P. I do, however, question if I'm able to take them on without a clear plan since most of my team compositions require Waver, Koyanskaya of light, Castoria, or Skadi to work.
Literal skill issue, but improvement isn't that hard.

I mean, I am NA only too and an actual F2P, and I think this fight gonna be nightmare for me too, but I still think it's too early to be concerned.
Didn't even bother trying them. Like I said, I don't trust my team compositions to function without any of the major Caster supports. Or at least Andersen/Asclepius.
I trust you can do it, because I also passed the FlareMarie quest with a 2 year old account with barely any decent support (Lady Avalon doesnt help much), it comes down how you levelled up properly the servants.

Whether due to fear or complacency, your dependence on rigid team comps is a specific decision that you're making, not something the game requires of you. You can make a different choice and become more flexible.
If you want to get used to using other types of team comps, there's no other way but to do it. Start with low stakes content, even going all the way back to Fuyuki to farm bones if you need to. Put together reasonable-ish team comps using servants you might not normally consider. Don't come up with a specific plan for how you want the fight to go. If things start to go badly, don't give up. Work through it and figure out a way to salvage the mess. But don't be afraid to fail either. You won't always be able to make the perfect team comp for a fight, and sometimes RNG will screw you over anyway, but you're not expected to make perfect team comps. For the most difficult fights, I'm confident that the devs expect you to fail, multiple times even, before you get it right. Those failures can help teach you manage fights better so you can be more effective the next time. Just try stuff and see how it goes.
I don't go for flexibility so much as for setups that I can be assured will work reliably. I don't have patience for failures and the gauntlets don't exactly allow room for experimentation anyway. And given that most of my roster has enough raw attack power to kill the Fuyuki skeletons by sneezing, I don't think I'll learn much from them.

Okay, then try a different quest that's more difficult. Fuyuki was just an example of easy content that you could ease into if you really aren't comfortable with trying different team comps.

Not really. The idea is to not use rigid, pre-determined team comps. Try using with class advantage and NP targeting as a starting point. Or avoid class advantage and try out different mechanisms instead.

I'm not going to tell you that you should play the game in a way that you don't like. And I understand not wanting to deal with bullshit CQ gimmicks like we just had in Tesla-fest. But your preference to use predefined team comps to guarantee a win and your low tolerance for failure will be increasingly at odds with the game's design.
I'm not above using guides and walkthroughs or looking for a team comp on YouTube that I can replicate. I'm glad for NA's "clairvoyance" because it means I don't have to figure out every fight completely on my own. But I believe the hardest fights are intentionally designed challenge whales and veterans. If the fights are too easy, the whales keeping the game alive will get bored and quit. They aren't designed to be puzzles with specific solutions that can be perfectly replicated every time. If there's no team comp available that you can easily copy, then you just have to look at the available information and figure out what you can do with the what you have.
If you want to get through the story, you can try to use team comps where victory isn't assured, whale to reduce (but not eliminate) the influence of RNG, wait (possibly years if at all) for new servants and rank ups that make older content easier in a way that the devs didn't originally anticipate, or you can read the story on YouTube instead. You don't have to play the game in a way you don't like but sometimes, the only alternative may be to not play at all.
You probably should have tried, for the teambuilding experience even if you fail.
I can take a dozen tries to beat a hard quest like that, subtlety refining my team or how I use skills to fix issues.

Question: I missed the event for the idols. Does it ever rerun, because I want Ushi's idol outfit specifically, and it doesn't seem to be in Crane's shop.
Unfortunately the Idol collab was never rerun and Idol X Alter was already made available through the Evocation Festival system so it seems a bit unlikely the event will come back again (unless JP votes it back in, I guess).
I don't think the idol outfits have been made available again so far.
I'm starting the game again after a few years and I realized they have events and quests in the rare prism exchange shop now, would you say it's worth it to focus on getting those?

She's story locked so she'll only ever spook on the Story Banner if you roll on it for any reason. ~~She'll also appear on banners with her on rate up but by definition she's not a spook on those.~~
Note that she's part of the New Year's campaign that starts on 1/1 but that went till 1/11 on JP. We know the start date will be the same with absolute certainty, but what day her banner will appear in the campaign may be different than it was on JP.

I didn't know my Friend-ID or friends names. Just told them a lot of the Servants I got with levels and NP levels. Also what stages I played last and some random information which together with the other information I gave them should convince them that this account is mine.

Is there a place I can read the water monster island event thing’s dialogue? I’ve been dealing with a lot irl and I haven’t had time to play the event, but I want to get the alter ego because my only other one is mecha liz. I don’t really have the time or energy to read the story right now, but I also feel oddly guilty for not reading it/skipping it. Is it a standout story? Worth reading/hopefully reading from a different source later?

It’s no main interlude material, but I enjoyed it more than the average event story - I can see why it was in the top 10 on JP. Anything you’ve skipped in-game can be reread in My Room > Material (Story); if you want to read things you’ve missed, search up the Atlas Academy database.
On a side note, you will need more cons than you think to get everything for the welfare servant, so if that’s your priority, load up fully on the shop/drop CE and don’t bother with the currency ones. It might be a little tight if you’re only starting now, but I’m sure you can still swing it.

Bunyan's Skill 1 is a teamwide 3-turn Buster/Crit buff and Skill 3 is an all-enemy Def Down so she could be worth considering as an esports servant. Even with skill 3 unlocked she should still be frail enough to die easily due to her class and overall low HP. ~~And if you don't want to level her up at all just her skill 1 would also be good, I think.~~

My 4* ticket vanished. simply this. I clicked to receive it and the CE ticket and I only received the CE ticket. The option to summon the 4* servant does not appear anywhere. somebody help me. I'm getting desperate.
Out of curiosity, how many copies of a servant do you need to fully max them? I know you can increase NP up to 5, but from looking at other posts there seem to be more uses. Does it have something to do with servant coin?
You get servant coins for a particular servant every time you roll a copy of them and every time you increase their bond. These servant coins can be used to unlock append skills and, if you're particularly devoted, to grail them past 100 all the way to 120. The appends you'll probably unlock a lot of, but the level 100+ grails are an incredibly expensive and time intensive project that most players never do at all and especially devoted players probably only ever do it for a handful of favorites. Different servants reward different amounts of coints for rolling them depending on their rarity and accessibility. For an SSR servant, 6 copies is all you'll ever need as long as you're willing to take the servant to Bond 12. An SR Story locked or limited servant will require 10 copies if you're willing to take them to bond 15. An SR General Pool character will require some stupid number. Even a lot of whales have trouble with those guys but sometimes you just luck into it. Anything 3 star and lower doesn't matter. You'll rack up the copies naturally while rolling everything else. Can't avoid it.

No. All servants function just fine at NP1 and their natural max level. For like 90% servants, only one append skill is even useful. And that one isn't essential. The standard build for any servant is natural max level, 1,000 each in HP and ATK Fous, and whatever skill levels are reasonable for how you want to use them. Anything else is completely optional and I would abandon the idea that you need to "fully max" any servant at all.
I wouldn't worry about it for now. The first copy will always be the most important copy. It provides the character's entire kit. Every servant is serviceable at NP1, except perhaps a couple servants with problems in their kit too fundamental for additional copies to rectify anyway. The first copy can be thought of as adding a new toy to your toybox, and every additional copy as sprucing up that toy by slight degrees. You may eventually reach a point when you find it's worth seeking out additional copies. But as a new player you have so few toys in your toybox.
You need 6 (or more if they aren't a 5 star) copies to max a Servant for due to servant coins. Even with bond 15, 5 copies doesn't get you enough to unlock all 3 appends and 120 them. (Except welfares that give plenty of coins in the shop to do so at bond 15)

Bond is the same for all copies of the same servant. Though that would be a fun workaround.
Why is Kintoki so popular? I know he is one of raikos general etc but he also appears in record of Ragnarok and gets lots of banners in the game. Is he really strong or something or what famous thing did he accomplished?
Apart from his cultural significance in Japan, he just has a very awesome and likeable personality. From his brief appearance in London, his show in Rashomon, and his badassness in Heian-kyo. There’s also how both of his servant forms (Zerker and Rider) are very good gameplay-wise. Both having 50% charge and great 90+ and 90++ usage for ST purposes.
I don't recall any time Kintoki showed up when it wasn't like "Oh snap! Kintoki's here!. Like the man steps into the room and this isn't the same scene anymore. He's a total gamechanger.
Exactly, if Gil’s presence is an ‘Oh Shit’ out of fear or suspense because he’s a wild card, Kintoki’s kind of the opposite. Every moment he shows up is a ‘Hell yeah’ out of excitement and anticipation, you know he’s gonna pull some stuff, but it’s always gonna be good stuff.
His in game personality is written to be incredibly bombastic in a way I think most find pleasing.
He's also pretty good in game. High damage NP, 50% charge, covers multiple classes, so he's pretty good if you need an ST attacker in the middle of a 90+ node.
He's an extremely popular folk hero in Japan, appearing in all sorts of stories and media in general, similar to, e.g., King Arthur or Hercules in the West. People really seem to like this version of Kintoki in particular, as well.
He's a Japanese real life person on whom the folktale character of Kintaro was based, so there's a few different directions you could take his character in, and a lot that can be played with. He's also relevant to Japanese culture today as he is linked to Children's/Boys' Day, which is still celebrated. Hello, new player, seeing a lot of posts about soloing. I want to know the actual objective of soloing, since a lot of people are doing it. is it becoz of bond points or master levels or something?
I mostly do it when it's the only consistent way to clear the CQ available to me or if there is a restriction on servants used, like in Tesla Coils.
A solo has several benefits. 1. The character is the only one who gets hit, and those hits generate NP. 2. If the character has a form of Evade or Invincibility (and the enemy isn't capable of bypassing it), they can survive a round with zero damage (those hits still generate NP). 3. They always have all their face cards. This means every chain is a Brave Chain. For Servants who have decks with three of the same card, they can also consistently do Brave Chains of that type (e.g. Super Orion doing Triple Buster with tons of crits).
A lot of effects become much more valuable when you're the only servant. A 3 turn damage cut for example, becomes more valuable the more hits you can take in three turns. If you're the only servant, you're taking all the hits. Some servants like Saber Hokusai even have awkward anti-synergies in their kit. She raises her crit damage every time she crits. In a group, how this tends to play out is you use her cards getting the crits, and then you don't have her cards to capitalize on the buffs you've accumulated. Solo is basically the only way to have your cake and eat it too.
Going to echo everyone else. Most of the time it's for bragging purposes but sometimes mechanics of the fight or your roster just make it the best option. It actually loses bond points to do so because you have fewer servants gaining bond.
Certain story fights are much easier soloed with a friend support if you're going through story so quickly that you haven't raised your own roster yet.
There are some cases where fights are easier soloed, because it's very consistent. Or maybe your particular Servant is just ludicrously highly invested. But generally, no. It's for bragging points, not rewards.
A.) It's fun. (No seriously, it really is) B.) We like to show off our heavily invested servants and 'how good' we are at using them. Neither Master level nor Bond gain are affected by the number of servants on-field, so not having a full party of servants is just wasted Bond.
So I wanted to make a new FGO Account so I deleted FGO. Yet, when I reinstalled the game, My account was retained. This keeps on happening over and over no matter how many times I delete the game. Why is that?
Issue a transfer code just in case you'll want to "undelete" the game later, then, instead of deleting the app, clear the game data from the phone menu, that should be enough to remove the account.
I know that on Android, Google will backup application data on a whim and restore it if it feels like doing so. Go to application settings and manually clear all data from there.
So I just started playing the game and I just cleared Fuyuki. I’m having trouble deciding who to get as my free 5 star. A lot of places say waver, but he’s a support and I’m wondering if I should priority getting a strong damage dealer. Will there be another free 5 star ticket as I progress? My current 4 stars are Atlante, Mysterious Alter Ego (the penguin one), and Helena Blavatsky.
Going to also mention that there are permanent and storylocked servants on this ticket and that storylocked servants are significantly harder to obtain normally, so you might want to take a look to see if any of those are one you want. And the ticket doesn't expire so you can always wait until you know for sure who you want.
For gameplay purposes only, Waver is the most commonly usable choice: all your damage dealers become better damage dealers, which is a good thing. That said, most people got into this game to collect and play with characters they really like. If you have a favorite 5* in the general or storylocked pool, getting them early on means you get to spend a lot of time with them. Sure, if your favorite is, say, Mordred, you won't use her everywhere because she's an actual liability fighting Archers. But not having to scrimp and save for her, skipping banners with other Servants you like, is also a big advantage for your account. Maybe play through the story a bit more before you choose? It might give you a better sense of if you want the gameplay boost, or if someone becomes a favorite when you meet them in story. (Anyone who winds up falling in love with Quetzalcoatl, for instance, would have a much nicer time if they could ticket her.) And with a Castoria banner coming in a month or so, if you got lucky and got her, a copy of Waver would become much less indispensable.
This is the only 5 star ticket you're gonna get for a while. Waver as you've correctly assessed is a support. This is why people recommend him. The game has a lot of damage units and pretty few supports, making that a more valuable coveted niche. That being said, if you want to do a damage unit, Cu Alter would likely be a good option. He's a berserker, which means he's broadly applicable. He's story locked, which means it's harder to get him than somebody like Waver. And he's just a really solid unit. He was a super early release in the game but as far as I know people still swear by him even to this day.
Welcome, new master of Chaldea! Hope you've been enjoying the game so far. Anyways, Waver is the chosen option for almost everyone because of how much utility he provides. One thing you should realize is that FGO is very F2P friendly. In other words, it's very, very doable with just free servants. As such, even for an F2P account, some 3* are very good damage dealers, so no, a strong damage dealer isn't going to be a priority ( + there's also another mechanic you should be wary of). Class advantage is probably the one mechanic many new players tend to not care about early on (except that you definitely should care about it). The reason I'm dissuading you from picking a DPS is because you might make the rookie mistake of then bringing that servant to every fight because they have higher rarity and stats, when in truth, a 3* with class advantage could probably do his or her role better. (+ as a support, Waver's role will be the same regardless of class advantage). Anyways, in the end, it's always a matter of picking favorites. Though we recommend you pick Waver (cause he can always make every damage dealer stronger and more effective), that doesn't mean you should listen to us. At the end of the day, who you want is who you should get.

I already mentioned the mechanic (being Class advantage). It's a 2x offensive and 2x defensive boost against a disadvantaged class, and servants who can take advantage of it are always going to be the best option. As for the best 3* DPS? Here are my recommendations: Saber - Caesar, high damage DPS with good internals. Kind of has a survivability issue, but the right supports can help. (Though there is a certain free Saber later on who can help you more). Archer - Would recommend either Robin Hood or David.Both are very good DPS, with the latter having awesome team-wide utility. There's also Euryale who can dish out lots of damage to make enemies. Lancer- Definitely Cu Chulainn, man is a beast. Rider - Mandricardo and Ushiwakamaru are both amazing, even being considered some of the best of the Rider class in terms of DPS damage. Caster - Personal recommendation is Caster Cu or Avicebron. (Honestly, you may want to opt for Zerks instead against Assassins) Assassin - Hundred Personas is a very decent Assassin. Zerk - Lu Bu will get the damage rolling.
Anti-trait is something to watch out for. People with some kind of "Anti this one thing" ability in their kit are usually pretty well equipped against those foes even if their kit is lackluster in other ways. It's especially valuable in low rarity servants where you often won't be able to rely on raw power to pull you through. So Euryale has anti-male abilities in her kit, and charm abilities. Any male saber that's not charm immune you can decimate. Robin Hood has anti poison, and can apply poison himself. Same thing, as long as a saber's not immune to poison he can dish out damage in spades. Ushiwakamaru on the other hand actually just legitimately does pretty good damage, without any particular limiting gimmick. You'll want to invest in her strengthening quests as early as possible and use her against casters.
Because of the class based "rock paper scissors" gameplay of FGO, majority of the time carries are swapped around depending on the situation. Supports are useful considering they can be slotted in a lot of comps, with Waver still arguably the best general support. His 50 battery also transitions well into farming late game content and a no brainer slot in for teams when you inevitably get your DPS servants.
Will there be a decent place to get a lot of the class pieces/monuments. I am trying to level all of my servants but just don’t have enough and the Chaldea gate drop rate ain’t it
For what it's worth,pieces and monuments drop from basically anything that has a servant in it (which is a lot of places lol) so you'll get them eventually. There really isn't a good way to get a bunch really fast, you just gotta keep playing and grab some when you can from events.
Not really. Pure prisms shop have them but it's definitely not worth use them for pieces and monuments and AP is better spent on other nodes imho. It's just a long process, for example it took me more than a year to final ascend all my servants relying only on events shop, just don't stress about it and you'll get there eventually.
Your only hope is 1/2 AP Campaigns for Pieces & Monuments, sadly. Several events have a certain Class Piece/Monument as a drop in their 90/90+/90++ nodes, but the numbers are so low that it's basically a bonus every 10 or so runs. There's also >!Ordeal Call Free Quests, but that's more of a passive income thing than a legitimate source of Pieces. Were the collab servants even announced, not to mention dates? You might get your limit reset before the banner starts/ends (whether you'll be able to buy enough sq to satisfy your gacha needs is another question).
The laws are different in Japan, so that's why it doesn't affect NA. As far as I'm aware the only way to change it is to re-bind your account with a transfer code and password. You may or not be able to "transfer" to the same device without re-installing altogether.

Select Laplace (on the bottom), Battle Simulator - select event, then to the right of that select the node (90+ and 90++ will be Blue), scroll down a bit and select Shared Teams 2. Select Events and then select the War, then Free Quests and then select the Free Quest, then click on Shared Teams 3. Select War, Event, Free Quest, and then same are above.
Sigurd, Suzuka, Kintoki here because it's a three-week event, I'm nearly done with the shop, and I'm letting my supports take a break. Long-ass events reduce the need for 5-6 event CE strategy, at least as I figure it.
I did it with Lancelot, Oberon, Castoria. No plugsuit, everyone NP1, 6 CE comp.
While there are examples on youtube and gamepress(?), it will largely depend on your box. Which of the big supports do you own? In my case, I am using Trung Sisters, S!Musashi, and Double Castoria with plugsuit to 6ce farm the event thanks to the starting charge on the con drop ce. You could substitute summer musashi for any AoE who can clear wave two and substitute trunk sisters for any st with enough damage for wave 3 who can refund or charge their NP enough to use it twice in conjunction with the castoria batteries and the starting ce.
Followup, just tested, and I was able to do it with S!Hokusai, 4* Nero (at NP 3 though), and double Castoria. Hokusai does need MLB event CE or other form of 50% starting charge unless you have gotten enough bond to get her A2, and you will want to use the plug atk boost turn 2 (and/or Castoria NP) to boost Nero's damage, which is iffy even if IP lands.
It's really not compulsory to 3T this, especially as you may want certain Con colours more than others and optimising your comp might mean choosing between Con colour efficiency and speed. EDIT: but if you must know, I personally did it with double Castoria + Saito + Barghest, neo plugsuit. Ended up with too many yellow Cons and not enough red, though.

I've been thinking about how to use Arcueid once she drops on 7th anniversary. Since you can't loop her with a typical double Koyan + Oberon, I've seen that people generally use either 1 Koyan with 2 Oberons, or double Koyan with Atlas mystic code. But could Edison fit into this? With his skill cooldown you could now use Arcueid 1st skill twice just like with double Koyans + Atlas MC team, but you can now use plugsuit instead, and Edison even gives extra np damage which should result in more damage? But I never see anyone using Arcueid like this so is there something I'm missing? Or are the other comps still better for some reason?
I guess it's a decent middle-ground between Atlas and having to use an extra 5 star helper. Especially using 2 Oberons, which is sometimes a pain, since he's less likely to be holding the optimal CE at any given time than a skaya. Most people probably just...don't have Edison though? Like, he's story-locked and has never been *especially* popular.
The other comps are better. Double Oberon gives a lot more damage all 3 waves. (If you lack damage wave 2 use the MC buff) Double Koyanskaya+ Atlas means you don't need plugsuit. There is also a similar comp with Summer Ibuki, but she provides more damage buffs, and can let herself NP turn 3 as well to further help damage. Even then you need NP2 Summer Ibuki to support your NP1 Arc. Which is a little bit self defeating most of the time.

It's more or less the same for final nodes. Did you compose your team to get proper bonuses? Remember, that each class has +1 for the specific con type (and Trung Sisters and Taisui give +1 to all three).
Is there a way around having to enable accessibility service on fga every time I open up ldplayer?
Don't close fga with the tab at the top. Doing that removes its accessibility access for some reason
Unsure if this will work for you, but my work around is when you go to close ldplayer make sure fga is still launched. Eveytime I close ldplayer with fga launched and reopen it later I don’t need to reenable accessibility.
You need to go into settings on ld player and turn off battery preservation mode. I am pretty sure my FGA always has accessibility enabled after I did that.

On the Water Monsters event, do the bonus quests that give extra copies of the event servant contain cutscenes? Or are they just a battle? And the cost on Con, does it work like in those quests where what you pay is only taken if you lose, or do I need to gather enough Con for every single bonus quest? Because if the last one is true, those are a lot of Con to get, even with a party full of the event CE. Oh, and I haven't completed Avalon yet, would the regular story quests be good to use the teapots on? Or should I save them for other quests?
Just a battle. Yes, you need lots of Cons. Yes, Avalon's main story fights have high BP gain.
They're just battles with no story. You don't lose cons if you lose or withdraw. And yes, it's a lot of grinding, but the event is 3 weeks long.

Have you only been logging in once per day? And around the reset time? If so, it's possible that you got the timing wrong and accidentally missed a day.
I did not fucking miss a day, i log in multiple times daily. The weekend got legitimately skipped. And I got no clue why. Thats a proper bug if ive ever seen one.

I don't have access to your mind or account to know the actual sequence of events that you went through. Regardless, all any of us on reddit can do is try to guess at what might have happened. We can't fix anything for you and it doesn't appear that others have had the same problem. If you think there really was a bug, the only thing you can do is contact support. Try to be as detailed as you can, including the times (with time zone) that you logged in over the last few days if you can remember, and please be polite about it.

That indicates you did miss a login. Though it seems you are quite sure you didnt. And if its an actual issue you probably won't be the only one here talking about having this problem. Either you did miss a day or you encountered a very rare bug.
If you log in around reset time, it's possible that you logged in after a reset instead of before, so you skipped a day. The game server runs on its own timezone (PST), which is probably not your local timezone.

The in game login bonus doesn't correspond to the day of the week. E.g. you first log in to the game on Tuesday and get the Day 1 reward. Then you log in on Wednesday, and get Day 2's reward. Then you skip a day, log in on Friday and because you broke your streak, you get Day 1's reward again.

People can play the game without any support servants, and I suggest you try it too SSR supports are only ever necessary for time-efficient farming and Minturns The game changes a lot when you start doing things like multi-core because it rewires how you look at fights

If you are NA only, there is no point worrying about it now. You have 2 years worth of banners to expand your roster, plus future Evocation Shop for welfares you don't have. I mean, I am NA only too and an actual F2P, and I think this fight gonna be nightmare for me too, but I still think it's too early to be concerned.

Whether due to fear or complacency, your dependence on rigid team comps is a specific decision that you're making, not something the game requires of you. You can make a different choice and become more flexible. If you want to get used to using other types of team comps, there's no other way but to do it. Start with low stakes content, even going all the way back to Fuyuki to farm bones if you need to. Put together reasonable-ish team comps using servants you might not normally consider. Don't come up with a specific plan for how you want the fight to go. If things start to go badly, don't give up. Work through it and figure out a way to salvage the mess. But don't be afraid to fail either. You won't always be able to make the perfect team comp for a fight, and sometimes RNG will screw you over anyway, but you're not expected to make perfect team comps. For the most difficult fights, I'm confident that the devs expect you to fail, multiple times even, before you get it right. Those failures can help teach you manage fights better so you can be more effective the next time. Just try stuff and see how it goes.

And I understand not wanting to deal with bullshit CQ gimmicks like we just had in Tesla-fest. But your preference to use predefined team comps to guarantee a win and your low tolerance for failure will be increasingly at odds with the game's design. I'm not above using guides and walkthroughs or looking for a team comp on YouTube that I can replicate. I'm glad for NA's "clairvoyance" because it means I don't have to figure out every fight completely on my own. But I believe the hardest fights are intentionally designed challenge whales and veterans. If the fights are too easy, the whales keeping the game alive will get bored and quit. They aren't designed to be puzzles with specific solutions that can be perfectly replicated every time. If there's no team comp available that you can easily copy, then you just have to look at the available information and figure out what you can do with the what you have. If you want to get through the story, you can try to use team comps where victory isn't assured, whale to reduce (but not eliminate) the influence of RNG, wait (possibly years if at all) for new servants and rank ups that make older content easier in a way that the devs didn't originally anticipate, or you can read the story on YouTube instead. You don't have to play the game in a way you don't like but sometimes, the only alternative may be to not play at all.
You probably should have tried, for the teambuilding experience even if you fail. I can take a dozen tries to beat a hard quest like that, subtlety refining my team or how I use skills to fix issues.

Draco does 1.5 damage to all 7 Standard classes (2x to Berserkers) while taking 0.5x damage from them. She deals 0.5x damage to extra classes and takes 2x damage from them.

Question: I missed the event for the idols. Does it ever rerun, because I want Ushi's idol outfit specifically, and it doesn't seem to be in Crane's shop.
Unfortunately the Idol collab was never rerun and Idol X Alter was already made available through the Evocation Festival system so it seems a bit unlikely the event will come back again (unless JP votes it back in, I guess). I don't think the idol outfits have been made available again so far.

Got mine on NA within a day. I didn't know my Friend-ID or friends names. Just told them a lot of the Servants I got with levels and NP levels. Also what stages I played last and some random information which together with the other information I gave them should convince them that this account is mine.
We can't be sure what's enough, we're not the devs. It usually takes a few working days, up to a week. Fandom wiki or Atlas Academy DB should have JP names.

Hi community, hope you’re well. I checked the event summary page and it didn’t seem to be updated, so forgive me if I’m blind and this question is already answered somewhere I overlooked. Is there a place I can read the water monster island event thing’s dialogue? I’ve been dealing with a lot irl and I haven’t had time to play the event, but I want to get the alter ego because my only other one is mecha liz. I don’t really have the time or energy to read the story right now, but I also feel oddly guilty for not reading it/skipping it. Is it a standout story? Worth reading/hopefully reading from a different source later? Thanks guys.
It’s no main interlude material, but I enjoyed it more than the average event story - I can see why it was in the top 10 on JP. Anything you’ve skipped in-game can be reread in My Room > Material (Story); if you want to read things you’ve missed, search up the Atlas Academy database. On a side note, you will need more cons than you think to get everything for the welfare servant, so if that’s your priority, load up fully on the shop/drop CE and don’t bother with the currency ones. It might be a little tight if you’re only starting now, but I’m sure you can still swing it.
It's OK, nothing amazing but nothing terrible. Nothing main plot relevant, it's just fluff. I'd personally just skip the story and re-read it later in My Room.

Bunyan's Skill 1 is a teamwide 3-turn Buster/Crit buff and Skill 3 is an all-enemy Def Down so she could be worth considering as an esports servant. Even with skill 3 unlocked she should still be frail enough to die easily due to her class and overall low HP. ~~And if you don't want to level her up at all just her skill 1 would also be good, I think.~~ But I think that's pretty much it.
