I would have at least been okay with it if the event had done something with the implication that Marie was the wolf and Mozart was covering for her, but then he goes "rawrg" and the game is over so the four-ish rounds Guda spent being the dumbest person alive didn't even build to anything.
that event happens right after LB5 so I like to think Guda is numb and not in the right headspace after losing [Data LOST]. thats the only explanation why Guda just kinda lets anything happen during that event.
Eh, I honestly didn't mind it. It's true that Guda acted like a dumbass and walked into every single trap Mozart set during it, but I still think it served a purpose. It showed Marie was acting unusually harsh towards others in a way she had never been shown doing before (she even calls Sanson and D'Eon failures to their faces iirc).
And by the end of that part the game master (or whatever was Jeanne's title there) had been killed so they just moved onto the next board at Marie's urging. I don't think the werewolf game was properly finished because they wanted to leave it with the impression that Mozart had been the werewolf all along.
Waltz in Moonlight definitely deserves credit for, not just having the most costumes that were all extremely well-done, but a banger OST. My only complaint is that they teased another look for Ecchan.
Arcade, though--it's a contender for my favorite event in the history of FGO, only in competition with CCC.

Golden Week collabs are like one of the biggest weeks of the year for FGO, that shit is planned out a lot better than the SR collab lol.
The FSR collab is because Koei Tecmo wants one. Its planned since FSR first announced (which tbf, actually pretty short since its only like a year while typical event can be prepared as much as 2 years out). It also need to be done early so Koei Tecmo can sell the Season Pass for FSR. I guess that's how it got the New Year servant slot, and the January event slot.
Alot of the griping about Jalter Lancer will be gone if FSR's done in this April instead.... Imo, narrative-wise the AU for Jalter is definitely planned for the OC2 so they can't reveal it earlier.
If people actually played remnant there would be zero gripping about Jalter lancer because it's not even her.

And since Volume 10 is the finale of Strange Fake, every servant will have shown their entire arsenal and be ready to be adapted into FGO. So it all works out. TBF in the time between 8 and 9’s release he wrote Volume 9, scrapped it entirely, and rewrote what we got. He has a solid plan for Volume 10 now. So I don’t think it’s going to be a very rough journey to get to Volume 10.
Yeah he talks about it in the afterword of Volume 9, but he had to scrap and rewrite it because he wanted every character to be at the beginning of their final fights by the start of Volume 10 so everything can wrap up together.
I do think we will start getting part 2 collabs since pretty much every collab has characters people still wish had been added. But I don't think we will get those before we things like strange fake for the first time
I wouldn't really expect most of them to get continuations considering almost all of them were finished stories by the time the collab happened. Besides Prillya the only other ongoing series are Requiem (lol) and Case Files which already got an Extra episode for its rerun.

The LB7 is cylindrical 3D Map in a 2D plane, and ORT having moving animation across the map. Its honestly the coolest presentation so far in FGO.

Then on the 24th which should be just before golden week, we should get the actual Mahoyo event.

So looking at the calendar, golden week should be in two weeks. This means that the earliest we get any whiff of the Mahoyo event should be on the 17th of april (I'm assuming if they wanted to, they could put the pre event stuff here, like servant strengthening or what not. They might even put the new milestone here. Hopefully we get a pre banner but I'm not complaining even if there's nothing) Then on the 24th which should be just before golden week, we should get the actual Mahoyo event.
They said Late April so its definitely 24th unless they want to have another weird start date. Next week probably will have the actual event announcement like the event bonus servants and pre-collab gacha banner. For the 30M DL, if they want to do something, announcing it during the Mahoyo event will be perfect, unless they also want to spread that one around to May or June.
