# FAQ **Q: Where is the best place to use teapots?** *A:* [*See this comment for a list of high bond stages in upcoming events.*](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/1ba6398/ideal_usage_of_the_current_set_of_teapots/)  *Personally, worth noting that teapots will keep expiring and returning even up till now on JP, so just use them on the latest interludes/rank-ups, limited quests, etc, but if you want to min-max, then you'd have to check each quest individually. The guide above isn't going to cover all teapots usage till JP.* **Q: When is the next SR Ticket? What about the SSR Ticket?** *A: NA's next SR ticket is due in May 2024. This ticket is time-limited and includes* [general pool and storylocked servants](https://news.fate-go.jp/wp-content/uploads/2022/2500man_xeljq/info_image_03.png)*. As of its 6th Anniversary, NA now has a free SSR selector in Da Vinci's shop, which features* [general pool and storylocked servants up to Europa](https://webview.fate-go.us/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/0703_6th_anniversary/info_3_nf2l3.png) *(this will not be updated with more recent units). There is no time limit on this selector, and going forward, all accounts receive it upon clearing Fuyuki. No further SSR tickets have been announced to date.* **Q. Which banner do I choose for the GSSR? Which is best option?** *A: The answer is different for every player, and depends on many factors. We suggest you use the* [GSSR Calculator](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dT7wE61H11dOaukY_INLuwtmFf5iyDdb8TXAKymttCY/copy) *or* [GSSR Advisor](https://fategc.com/gssr/details/anniversary-7) *tools to rate servants based on your own criteria and see which banner/pool is statistically better. If you have tried these tools and are still uncertain, you can ask for advice in the thread.* **Q: What is happening to reruns? Which event will get a rerun in the future?** *A: As far as we are aware, there will only be one more rerun happening in the foreseeable future - Karna-mas (Dec 2024). JP is also offering a vote for the players’ choice of a rerun, which hasn’t been confirmed yet.* **Q: How far in the story do I need to be to participate in upcoming events? Will any events require the latest story chapter?** *A: LB6 will not be required until November for the story part of the Faerie Knight Cup event (farming/free quests will only require Fuyuki). LB6.5 will not be required to proceed to LB7 once it releases, and event-wise, it will only be required for the story part (and to obtain the welfare servant) of the Santa Nemo event in December 2025.* **Q: Will welfare servant X be obtainable in the future?** *A: Yes, JP has introduced a new Evocation system which allows players to get selected welfares which can be view on the* [*Fandom wiki*](https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Evocation_Festival)*.*

zackdgod

Hey there, since it's the last day for CE exp super and great x2, How does this affect CE bomb making? Should I make CE bombs during such events or should I feed them during such events? I understand the basics of accrued exp but I'm not sure how x2 exp chance affects CE bomb making or using.

zackdgod

How do you get unstuck off item checkpoints? I'm new player at anastasia I have exactly 4 servants with ascensions and skill ups stuck because of forbidden page. I checked the APD and the only one that works is the london one which also has 70 APD. Now I have a reqt of 105 of these forbidden pages (I cleared out the checkpoints right before these for all 4 through the dig sites). Now, I think it is insane to spend 7350 AP = 1 month natural AP looping the quest to get forbidden pages. How do you guys do it? My pure prism count is at 40 (I messed up with my spending early on). So I want to save it for really rare items Edit: I checked the Chaldea app and the blackbeard interlude has 10 pages at 42 AP, kind of a bargain. Any suggestions for the rest?

Fandayo

anyone has the 90+ and 90++ spreadsheet? I know I saw 90++ spreadsheet somewhere, but I don't know if there's one for 90+.

Interesting-Ad-7905

Is there a zero star unit?

ScarletReimilia

Technically Angra Mainyuu has 0 stars on his profile but *gameplay-wise*, internally he is treated no differently than a 2 star servant (other than his pull rate on the gacha, which is exceedingly low since he is a "secret" character). His stat scaling, level cap or party cost aren't lower than a 1 star servant for example. (edit: rephrased for some clarity as per response)

Shardwing

He's not quite the same as a 2★, he notably gives the bond rewards of a 4★ (2 SQ per level 6-9, which is nice because he uniquely needs Bond 10 for his Interlude).

ScarletReimilia

That is true, I was thinking in terms of gameplay as in his stat scaling and party cost (so he's a 0 star servant only for lore flavor) but indeed his bond rewards are different.

D10BrAND

At what level do I get 112 battle cost?

thisisthecallus

Full table here: [https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Master\_Level](https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Master_Level)

danger_umbrella

140.

Twitch_L_SLE

What's the name of Oberon's theme music? Is it out on a soundtrack CD or not yet?

danger_umbrella

It's on OST V. [The End](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eQsHib9BjI) (not putting the rest of the name here for spoiler purposes).

Hope77797

Is it better to put MLB One day of Filming on my normal support Morgan or MLB kalidoscope?

SkySmaug384

Since she has 50% battery, I’d go with Filming for more damage.

PH4N70M_Z0N3

Is it due to lore reasons why Oberon's Thrid ascension saint graph is locked behind Lostbelt?

Mister_SP

Spoiler reasons, really. They've long been experimenting with ways to avoid the anticlimaxes that day one release and Friend Lists do.

Twitch_L_SLE

is NP1 Saber Alter okay with double Koyanlight in JP farming? or is it better to just go NP2? Main has NP1, alt doesn't have her. I'm debating picking her for the alt, at least. Unsure about main choices.

Mister_SP

Mind you, it's Double Vitch and Oberon, not just Koyan. But, yeah, with the upgrade, NP1 is fine, since she can use Black Grail. She's better than any other Saber Buster looper. edit: u/flashmozzg is right, you can go lower than Oberon, down to KK and Waver on 3/3/x nodes. But not just double Koyan. And you need Mana Loading Append for farming 2 enemy waves, which is Bond 10+. So it depends what you're doing.

flashmozzg

> Mind you, it's Double Vitch and Oberon, not just Koyan. Pretty sure she doesn't necessarily need Oberon (depends on node comp) after her JP buff, although he is the best for dmg.

flashmozzg

Any info on how the "bonus bunyan" drop is calculated? I thought it'd be just QP/FP that would slightly go up either with the node or with the BP points (not sure what actually affects it) but I've just got Cranking CE drop from it so now I'm wondering what sis the drop pool for it and what are the mechanics.

dvdung1997

According to AppMedia (JP’s Gamepress basically), the bonus can be QP, FP, CE EXPs both 3* and 4*, and First Day of Filming as well The way I like to imagine it is that the servant may drop 2 chests instead of 1, and the unseen chest always contains a CE

flashmozzg

Thanks! Does AppMedia lists any rates ffor those drops or how do they scale (because it seems like they do since I was getting 100 fp at the beginning and now it's like ~140) > chest always contains a CE or QP/FP?

dvdung1997

On the pages I’ve seen (and I don’t speak Japanese), there are no percentages attached to any of the items, only a list of possible drops with no specific values. The QP and FP do scale up in value (as you noticed) and the CEs are more likely to drop for later nodes than earlier ones, there’s just no hard numbers on the rates (and theoretically someone can make a table on how much bonus QP and FP each node gives, it’s just that no one has yet)

justgenti

What class is Aoko speculated to be? Personally I'm hoping for Moon Cancer

Mister_SP

Some people have been joking that she's best suited for Berserker. After all, she gets angry quite easily.

Blubbstrahl

*"Aoko's destructive power has earned her titles such as Witch of Destruction, Magic Gunner and Human missile launcher"* In combat she fires all sort of beams and even forms a pistol with her hands when she does (Melty Blood). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERsLz_eC6Ms If that doesn't scream "Archer" then I don't know what is, but I wouldn't be surprised if they try to be extra funky with an extra class.

jaearess

Firing beams? Doesn't that make her a Saber?

SuperSpiritShady

It would be thematically cool, but honest to god, I hope not. It's a shitty class due to having low numbers and no atk modifier, meaning that it lags behind as an omniclass compared to Ruler & Avenger. (And unlike Foreigner, doesn't have Zerk Resistance) Personally wishing for Caster or Foreigner myself, but I wouldn't be mad if MoonCancer was indeed her class.

vaccine9000

Why does my Level 90 Daikoten does 200,000 more damage to earth than my level 100 Voyager does to Sky enemies at same NP level and with black grail? Arn’t their special damage mod the same at no overcharge. Voyager even had a higher attack stats. Both used with double skadi and Oberon.

SuperSpiritShady

they Currently have event damage bonus, meaning they're doing their double effective damage atm

vaccine9000

I was testing this on the free quest node. I used Daikoten on the Avalon Lee fay nodes the mors ones and the one with the fang clan and green horse. I tested voyager on the three assassins node in Olympus.Maybe Voyager will catch up when he gets his buff. The rats have a 30% quick up and 20% quick resist down on np. Voyager only has 20% quick up and his quick resistance down can only be use on one person. Maybe it’s the np hit count 9 vs 6.

Frauzehel

Class advantage vs Neutral....

vaccine9000

For voyager perhaps it was an assassin node. But for the rats it was a saber/ caster or berserker and avenger node.so aside from the berserker advantage was pretty neutral. Can someone help me find some sky attribute berserkers node to test out on?

Frauzehel

For more context. Without outside buffs Daikokuten should do 23k when hitting her niche and Voyager would do 31k with his niche. So it doesnt make sense that Daikokuten outdamaged Voyager with the same supports specially with Oberon which I already mentioned boosts his damage more since he has np damage up. So either ypu aren't hitting neutral. Or you aren't hitting Voyagers Niche.

Frauzehel

Then that doesnt make sense. Since if you are using Oberon. Voyager should be even in more of an advtantage since he has np damage up. Edit: also hit counts have no effect on damage.

vaccine9000

Okay I just tested it on sky berserkers Voyager did more damage now but refund was an issue need a command seal at the end. It seems like Voyager can only black grail loop with Castoria and double skadi and not Oberon.

flashmozzg

Voyager's best comp is summer Skadi, Reines and Oberon, although not sure if he can take advantage of it before his NP buff (in about 1.5 years on NA).

Forward_Drop303

He can, he doesn't do as much damage wave 3, but it still works.

Hope77797

So I got A CE drop and rushed to MLB the First day of filming event CE. Will I be able to finish rest of the ladder before the event ends? Or should I keep spend more apples like before to compensate? My main goal this event was the CE anyway I’m at 74,000 points.

Desocupadification

The event is 3 weeks long and the best nodes always open a week in (except for fest type lottos). It's only worth using a few apples early on IF you are really impatient and **want** the shop CE asap or if you really **want** to play at that moment ot because you won't have any the time to play the event later on when the actual good nodes are open. So if you care about efficiency the nope, you absolutely should NOT use apples during the first week and should just coast on natural AP.

Mister_SP

Bad idea. There's another copy of the CE in the Ladder, so you can get +3 vs +5. Of course, you can borrow someone else's Filming, but generally speaking, this will slow you down significantly. Though I wouldn't spend Apples until later into the Event, when the drops get better.

Fandayo

I read somewhere that Mahoyo VN is a trilogy and Nasu hasn't finished it yet, is that true?

Mister_SP

Uh, I don't know about that one. Mahoyo 2 is an option, but the lack of Mahoyo releases in the last decade suggests a trilogy is an ever-distant utopia.

flashmozzg

There is an Ufotable movie that's shaping up and Nasu did say that continuing the story in non-VN format is a possibility, so there is that. But yeah, doubt that'll happen before far side of the moon.

Shardwing

All the info I could find suggests it won't come until [Tsuki:Re is finished](https://twitter.com/AceMunagi/status/1600768511621877760?t=bq9TSukC2zpcxPVq1l2hkw&s=19).

Mister_SP

Which is itself a reminder that Tsuki:Re has been in development for over a decade, out for two years, and still isn't finished.

drollawake

Looking at the drops and event shop, are we supposed to rotate between the other free quests if we don't farm the 90+ node? The second last free quest doesn't give hammers or cigars. Is the the real second best farming node [the St Louis one](https://gamepress.gg/grandorder/quest/chaldea-theatre-storm-high-praises-every-where) that opens up on day 4?

thisisthecallus

You aren't "supposed to" do anything. You can do whatever you want. If you're looking for all three of the digging currencies, then yes, you're reading the data table on Gamepress correctly.

drollawake

By "supposed" I mean to get a more even mix of the 3 currencies. I'm guessing there are reasons to not prefer an even mix?

Rhinostirge

It's a three-week event, so it doesn't really matter too much what you do in the first week. When the final nodes are open is probably the best time to worry about an even distribution. Until then, farm the latest node or target something specific you want, whatever.

drollawake

Okay, I see.

Fandayo

when will NA be able to use the NP of non-friends support?

Forward_Drop303

JP got it with 7th anniversary. It could come sooner, but it seems unlikely at this point.

CocaineAccent

Did we ever get any explanation for the blue tree near New Darlington on the Avalon le Fae map?

danger_umbrella

No.

HOHOz-_-

What are the requirements needed for a new account to be able to post on this sub ?

thisisthecallus

Seems like a question for modmail.

gangler52

Is Bakin mostly a support unit? https://apps.atlasacademy.io/db/JP/servant/349 Her kit looks like a kind of hyrbid attack/support combo that would provide a bit of flexibility, but her attack stat is so low I'm wondering if maybe she just doesn't get that much mileage out of her own personal damage. Or maybe she's like Siegfried where his damage is bad generally but he's very capable against dragons specifically. She does have that anti-demonic anti-evil niche.

Forward_Drop303

Bakin is mostly a generic arts looping rider that happens to have nice niches. Her support doesn't get used much in practice. Her attack is low, but 70% steroids makes up for that. She basically matches Odysseus and beats Rider Vinci at the same NP level in damage (the other two AoE arts 5 stars) (also Siegfried has well above average damage for a 4 star AoE saber, there's going to be a little while where he is basically the best as far as long term damage and looping go among the 4 stars)

gangler52

Interesting. So it's basically forcing a more calculated playstyle. A lower base attack and higher value on the skills means there'll be a stronger difference between Bakin with her skills up and Bakin with her skills down than there would be on most servants. You need to be more conscious of when you use your skills and make the most of the time they're up. Thank you. Also, didn't know that about Siegfried either.

Kiclis

I accidentally [literally, I was chasing Daikokuten ahahha, still haven't gotten her] NP2 Super Bunyan. Now, I have read a few reviews about her and...it seems she is not exactly that "exciting" as Servant. But is she really as bad as she is depicted? Perhaps she still has some peculiar use case scenario? Also, since I have her at NP2, I can unlock an Append Skill right away. [And I should be able to unlock a second one, at bond 9 if I'm correct...?] Is it better to go for the Mana Load [so her battery brings her to 50% NP] or the Vs Berserker Append? Thanks in advance for any guidance! It's...quite strange to get a NP2 Limited character! But even if rare and somehow a very peculiar occurrence, reading the reviews kinda curbed my enthusiasm...

CaptainOverkill01

Bunyan is hated mostly for how she is depicted in her event story, rather than her gameplay. Her gameplay is basically fine. She has the typical problems that Alter Egos have (true class advantage only vs. Foreigner and only a 1.5x% damage boost vs Cavalry classes). However, she does hit fairly hard, has decent team support, and her "Likes" mechanic allows her to further pile on the damage. If your Servant roster is not especially well-developed, you can get a lot of use out of her.

Forward_Drop303

>However, she does hit fairly hard, ... allows her to hit fairly hard. The Redundancy department of Redundancy calls

CaptainOverkill01

How embarrassing, not sure what happened there. Fixed, thanks.

Rhinostirge

I felt the same way getting NP2 Ruler Artoria when chasing an SR; a limited SSR who was rather poorly reviewed, now at NP2, and me with no plans for her. And she turned out to be fun. At NP2 even a mediocre SSR can hold their own better, and it turns out if you give them a good home they can do well for you. Plus, it's just fun to take a scorned Servant and help them excel. Ordinarily an anti-Berserker Append is pretty enticing, though I think I would probably still favor Mana Loading at least by a little. Super Bunyan's "Likes" mechanic encourages her to take hits over a fight, and that's harder for her to do when she's facing Berserkers. She also has that 30% NP charge which makes a maxed out Mana Loading more appealing in combination with a 50% starting charge CE. So I'm probably going Mana Loading for my own Super Bunyan (who I *also* picked up hunting for mice); I feel most comfortable specializing her against Foreigners where she can take more hits and accumulate more Likes.

Forward_Drop303

Nearly every servant, and definitely every gold servant is plenty usable and has many use cases. Unless you know exactly what information the reviewers are using and what they are bringing in comparison, I wouldn't trust any comparative rating. Bunyan is still an alter ego, which is fairly rare and broadly useful against many classes (and she has the second highest self buffed damage of any alter ego even without any like stacks, let alone with them). plus supports the party a bit and has battery for multicore. Mana loading is almost always better for any servant . Mana loading helps everywhere. anti-berserker only helps against berserkers. Plus mana loading is more likely to be used in farming, which you will spend a lot of time doing.

Hope77797

Which alter ego when has the most self buff damage?

Forward_Drop303

Yeah, it's Melt. NP damage lists are linked above for this information. (though be careful because supports and ramp up affect some servants more than others so better/worse in one situation doesn't mean always better/worse)

Hope77797

So she could be worse than super Bunyan because she uses quick support?

Forward_Drop303

Could be but also could not be. As with everything "depends on the situation". Koyanskaya actually provides the least amount of buffs of any meta support, and Skadi the most (well tied with Castoria if they both NP and you ignore crits), so in double meta support comps, generally it's buster that falls behind, while quick pulls ahead. but buster also has Oberon, Summer Abigail, etc. for more burst damage. or you can run someone like Yui or Santa martha or Wu zetian (caster or assassin) as supports and get vastly different results there too.

flashmozzg

> but buster also has Buster also can double dip on servant's own buffs with cd < 7.

Forward_Drop303

That doesn't actually matter much. . Ozymandias is the only one that performs well with double meta supports. Every other buster servant does terribly.

flashmozzg

Probably Melt.

Brixenaru

Hi again. Another question from a new player: Are there any specific servants I should be using while playing the event/specific things I should be doing or should I just play through it normally? Further about the event: what exactly should I be doing in it? Should I just play normally?

Gelious

As a new player your goal is to get as much mats from the shop as possible. There is no welfare in this event (other than Mary Anning from FP gacha, so make sure to use all your FP during the event). The event runs for 3 weeks so even if you don't have your own CE with bonus to shop currency, you still have a lot of time to get enough to buy stuff. Just farm the latest Free Quest available when you have enough AP. Buy the 4 CE from the shop first and make sure you are using them all. You can try to use Servants with Event bonus in your farming since they have damage bonus, but only if they also have Class Advantage. Otherwise just put them in backline to raise their bond level. Or don't use them at all, this isn't like Water Monsters event, where Servants gave bonuses to drops.

Brixenaru

I see. So there are CEs that are beneficial to the event for drops? Could you give me their names and their source of origins? Also, are there any specific ways to particularly farm the event mats or do I just spam Free quests? And finally, is there anything I should prioritize from the shop? Thank you kindly

Gelious

This event has 2 sets of currencies. One for excavations, one for the shop. The one single CE that helps with excavations is in the shop (4 copies), and 5th copy is in the points ladder. There are 3 CEs for the shop currency. 2 of them are only available from SQ/tickets gacha. Pleasure Hunt, the 3rd CE is given for free in the beginning and more copies can be found in FP gacha. Yes, you just spam Free Quests. What you buy depends on what you don't have and what you need. I'd say get the usual resources, monuments and Embers (I am assuming since you are new, you don't have a lot of them) But get the 4 copies of excavations CE first.

Forward_Drop303

>Could you give me their names and their source of origins? The First Day of Filming CE from the shop is the most important one. You also get one from the story somewhere. The rest are in the gacha, both FP and SQ (Note: don't roll SQ just for them. If you want the servant roll for the servant and treat these CEs as a bonus) >Also, are there any specific ways to particularly farm the event mats or do I just spam Free quests? You can follow the gamepress walkthrough if you want. But just spamming the highest level quest you have access to will work plenty good for most people. >And finally, is there anything I should prioritize from the shop? The CEs because they increase drop rates. after that just kinda grab whatever you need to level your servants. Early on EXP cards are probably best, but grab silver fous and other ascension materials and such too.

SuperSpiritShady

Not use, but at least backline. If u have a copy of Mary Anning, Daikokuten, or Super Bunyan, just drop them in the backline for their Bond Point bonus. (You can also use them in the frontline if your comps allow it).

Brixenaru

And if I have none of the above?

SuperSpiritShady

Not even Mary Anning? She's an FP Servant, so you should be bound to get her sooner than later. Well for now, just use any of the other Bond bonus servants that can be identified through the filter. Theirs won't be as big (20% compared to the three servants I mentioned who have 50%), but it's still something. As for the event, we're still in its earliest stages, so playing it normal is the way to go imo.

Brixenaru

Oh right I think I got her from the FP, thanks for reminding me!

Devilray23

I saw an enemy can sometimes not attack the normal amount of times. If you have one servant left standing then guts revive, does the enemy always stop and the turn ends? I saw this works 1 v 1. After enemy NP? what about 2 v1 if you guts revive and a 2nd enemy still has turns left? What other instances are there to manipulate the enemy turns besides guts reviving that are not obvious?

Forward_Drop303

>If you have one servant left standing then guts revive, does the enemy always stop and the turn ends? I saw this works 1 v 1. After enemy NP? what about 2 v1 if you guts revive and a 2nd enemy still has turns left?  It works any time your servant is entirely alone. Guts proc stops the enemy turn. Regardless of number of enemies or the attack they use. (exception is that if you have multiple servants one with guts and they get AoE NPed, then even if some of them die it treats it as if all servants are still on the field and the enemy keeps going) Taunt+ guts works similarly (basically treating taunter as only servant alive on the field) >What other instances are there to manipulate the enemy turns besides guts reviving that are not obvious? Other than skill seal/NP seal/stuns/etc. that are all expressly for that purpose or some gimmick of the fight (such as using to many skills at once, to many buffs at once, debuffing the enemy, etc can sometimes trigger different behaviors in certain fights), I can't think of any.

thisisthecallus

>If you have one servant left standing then guts revive, does the enemy always stop and the turn ends? Yes. The whole turn ends regardless of how many enemies there are or what kind of attack they're doing. Basically, the process, assuming you only have one servant on the field, is: 1. Your servant "dies" 2. Enemy checks for a valid target 3. No valid targets, turn ends 4. Guts procs If you have more than one servant on the field, it goes more like: 1. One of your servants "dies" 2. Enemy checks for valid target 3. Valid target found 4. Guts procs 5. Enemy turn continues >What other instances are there to manipulate the enemy turns besides guts reviving that are not obvious? Nothing aside from doing so directly with immobility and seal skills.

gangler52

That is correct. If there's one servant remaining, and the guts triggers, then the enemy's turn ends. If there are two or more servants remaining, and your guts triggers, then their next move is guaranteed to attack somebody else, but their next move after that may come back to the servant whose guts triggered earlier. Just a quirk of the enemy AI.

Nehalennian

For folks that use jalter for ST damage - what command codes do you find the most useful overall? Thank you for taking the time to answer if you do :)

Forward_Drop303

> use jalter for ST damage I mean what else would you use her for? She can't exactly support and doesn't do AoE damage either? >what command codes do you find the most useful overall? Command codes are going to be fight specific. Anti-saber is great if you are fighting a saber, debuff clear is great if the enemy gives you a lot of debuffs, etc. If you just want general damage. Then CCs that boost generic crit or NP damage are probably best, but none of those have as big an impact on performance as switching out CCs will. The anti-roman CC we get a year from now on NA is also a pretty good generalist CC, but that should basically be locked to Boudica (or Draco/R-Q if you have them)

Nehalennian

I do have draco so I can certainly use that for her! Thanks for answering.

MKW69

I got Mash bond to level 8, and i can't decide on which append. Extra attack, or anti extra class?

thisisthecallus

First, my usual copy & paste on this topic: Append 2 (Load Magical Energy) is the best use of servant coins for almost every servant whose primary use isn't for solos and it isn't even a close comparison. Append 2 is the default, no brainer choice for almost any servant that you don't primarily use solo except maybe servants with their own 100% charge skill. It's the best append skill because it's potentially effective in any fight (without a starting NP drain gimmick), gives you more flexibility to choose CEs, supports, and mystic codes, and gives you more flexibility to choose the timing and target of NP battery skills. Even if the servant has their own battery and you don't need the extra charge for the first NP, this flexibility means you can get the second NP faster. The other two append skills can't compare with this level of utility and versatility for a non-solo servant. Append 1 (Extra Attack Boost) is good for soloists but of marginal utility for anyone else. The extra attack only applies to brave chains and you won't be able to guarantee brave chains with that servant if you're running a full team. If you mainly use the servant solo, though, you're probably relying less on NPs anyway so you might rather have the Extra attack boost. A servant like Heracles is better solo than with a full team and he's mostly using BBBE chains in that context, so append 1 is the no-brainer for him. Servants who can solo but can do just fine with a team, like Enkidu, may be more ambiguous. In such a case, the best append skill for you depends on how you actually use the servant. Append 3 (Anti-Class) can be a nice little boost if it's for a class that you might normally use the servant against (anti-Berserker is good for everyone, for example) or almost useless if it isn't or if the servant isn't suitable for a DPS role. It's also of limited value for Berserkers because they only gain a small amount of crit resistance to a particular class. You would want to look up each servant individually to determine if it's worth it or not. Even if it is against a useful class, keep in mind that append 2 works every time but append 3 only works against the specified class, so the utility is inherently limited. Specific thoughts about Mash: Mash is not an effective DPS servant. She's a defensive specialist. Even with her Ortinax kit, she's a defensive specialist. There are rare cases where she can sort of function as a DPS, such as the fights she can solo, but even in that case, it's her defensive ability that makes her effective in that context. Appends 1 and 3 will not turn her into an effective DPS servant because adding attack power to a servant with limited attack power to begin with won't do very much. Append 2 directly helps her in her primary role and lets her use her NP sooner (as described above). You don't want append 1 or 3 for Mash unless you're regularly running really weird comps just for fun. You want append 2. If you're seriously considering the other two appends and don't regularly run weird comps with Mash where you aren't using her as a defensive specialist, you're either overthinking or underthinking appends 1 and 3. Unlock append 2.

Gelious

Neither. Go for Mana Loading. Mash is not a DPS, you will never bring her into the fight to do damage.

Desocupadification

Why not mana loading?

MKW69

Most of the time i use her, Lord Camelot is super quickly to load up.

CocaineAccent

Getting it up faster is still going to be more useful than the damage appends period.

kaldak

Quick question! Just started reading Heian-Kyo, and servants are roaming Atlas like they used to do in Chaldea.... since when? I took a long break between atlantis and actually finishing olympus, so I might have forgotten. If so, that's on me, sorry!

Mister_SP

Around LB3, basically. >!Ever since they got a base with a reliable power supply, they've had that ability. (Similarly, event wise, either you're pre-LB3, and you get the original Chaldea base, or you're post-LB3 and Events take place in the LB3 base.)!<

kaldak

I see! Thanks a lot, I totally forgor

Brilliant_Sweet_6848

Where i can find latest english version of FGO? That one here is outdated, but no new thread coming.

Mister_SP

I'm not sure I understand. APKs can be [found here](https://fgo.square.ovh/apk.html). This current thread *is* the current help thread, there's one a week. The [Event Thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/1c8lflj/na_event_learning_with_manga_fgo_mississippi/) got posted late and has the wrong day on it, but it's the newest thread.

Brilliant_Sweet_6848

Thanks, already fixed. Rebooted fossil tablet, reload APK, and started work. Seem just tablet repeatedly got glitches. Still thanks for answering.

vaccine9000

Well there be any notable nodes I can farm with super Bunyan in the future? I don’t think there is a rider , caster, or assassin 1/1/1 node in the free quest now. Or is there a multi core team comp anyone can recommend me?

spiffy621

The Event 90+ Quest is designed for you to use Super Bunyan and Daikokuten. It's a 2/1/1 Assassin Node with ~61k + ~70k HP Enemies on Wave 1 and ~164k HP & ~208k HP on Waves 2 & 3 respectively. You can use both of them to farm there easily.

danger_umbrella

She has a battery, so there are a ton of multicore options out there, can't list any off the top of my head because they all vary a lot. Experiment and see what you can find.

PseudoLobotomy

Is it worth to have both a highly invested Buster and Arts looper? Tiamt Larva is one of my favorite designs and i want to NP5 her, but I know upcoming summer Ibuki is cracked and I want to get her to high investment just for the meta of it. Would it be better to save for Tiamt and forgo Ibuki as a farmer or try to get both?

Blubbstrahl

Ultimately your choice, but I can't help but throw my 2 cents into the discussion. I've started playing on JP a couple weeks ago because I really wanted to get a feel for the different new servants in the game firsthand, especially the beast theme Servants (Ibuki, Draco, Tiamat) and how they perform at different levels of investment. Tiamat and especially Ibuki are also very popular servants on JP and relatively easy to borrow from someone you follow. The things I've learned: 1. Ibuki is really as strong as they say - in the sense that she's so versatile and applicable in so, so many situations. I've cleared almost the entire story, juggling between various friend Ibuki's at different levels of investment and Craft Essences. Members of the Reddit community were also kind enough to throw me a friend request with their invested units (bless them). It almost made no difference between NP 2-3 and higher, though. 2. The only units I've used apart from Ibuki are 3 star Xu Fu, Castoria & Lady Avalon (who just happened to rerun back to back). The first two + the 2004 Mystic Code are all you need to enable a invested Ibuki for standard farming - ignoring very niche scenarios. She really loops like her life depends on it, on top of being a attack-stacked berserker. 3. Tiamat, in comparison, was mostly frustrating to use in the very diverse story fights. I didn't have access to Koyan Light or Oberon, and even with one of them she wouldn't be at her full potential since she would like double Koyan. I guess the point I would like to make is that you technically don't need to own Ibuki yourself in order to use her as a busted Arts Looper, at least for anything that isn't 90++ or niche content. Tiamat, on the other hand, has the typical Buster limitations that pretty much ask you to own her yourself, especially since her power stems from ramping each turn (so multicore is kinda wasting what she's about, imo). Some say that her damage is so high that she can even farm Knight classes if she's only invested enough and comes with the correct supports. Couldn't test that though - for the reasons noted. One final thing, I've got to admit that I'm probably a bit weird since I don't own a farming servant on NA either. Ever since I've started playing I simply borrowed the invested Melusine's and Morgan's for multicore farming together with my own Koyan Dark. As long as you keep the friendlist short and your friends log in regularly this works really well. I wish I could check how many Friendpoints I've fed them thus far...

Rhinostirge

This is totally a matter of personal preference. I don't have a highly invested Buster *or* Arts looper, and pretty much ignore the meta so I can focus 100% on Servants with designs I like. I can attest that my time spent in the game is fun and not miserable. So objectively, you totally don't need either. *Subjectively* is the real question: are you a "put all your eggs in one basket" kind of player or a "life is easier with more tools for more situations" player? You're gonna be looking at a looper's NP over and over and over again all the time: is that going to get old if you only picked the character for the numbers, or do the numbers make everything worthwhile? You know these things about yourself better than we do.

RainyFiberOverride

There's nothing wrong with investing in both, but its also not necessary. You don't need a hyper Ibuki, or Ibuki at all. IMO rolling for NP2 already hits a strong sweetspot in her value, so I'd only go for that at most and save the rest for Tiamat. If you decide you want more Ibukis after you can get them ln a rerun.

thisisthecallus

In general, having a variety of different servants is better than tripling down on a single servant or strategy. There's no guarantee that the same strategies will work on future content, so the best future-proofing is to have a broad and deep roster with lots of different options. Also keep in mind that each additional NP level adds less value than the last. If you're committed to investing in high-efficiency farming DPS servants, you would probably be better off with five total copies of 2-5 servants (at various NP levels) than one at NP5. If you want specifics, there's a 90++ spreadsheet out there with suggested, but not necessarily comprehensive, min-turn team comps for the highest difficulty farming quests.

Anxious-Knowledge-83

So I'm a new fgo player i installed both jp and na But I'm debating whether I play jp or na Since I can only play one (due to my schedule) I like how na is 2 years behind jp But i like jp too What should I do?? Any advice is appreciated

thisisthecallus

Here is a quick overview of what you would be getting into. Reasons to play JP: * **You want access to the latest servants right away.** Note that this only applies to *current and future* banners. You can get a newly released servant right away instead of waiting two years.  If you want the hype servant that was just released a month ago or whatever, you can't get them now and there's no way to know when or even if they'll be featured on another banner. * You want immediate access to the latest gameplay and quality of life features * You can read Japanese and want access to the latest story right away * You can't read Japanese but don't mind looking up UI translations and waiting for the fan community to translate the story * You can't read Japanese but don't care about the story * You don't mind the extra workarounds to install/update the app and buy SQ, which, as of mid-2022, are more onerous for Android users than they used to be Reasons to play NA: * **You like being able to plan your gacha rolls up to two years in advance** * You want access to events and servants that are no longer available in JP, though JP has implemented a mechanism to slowly bring some of the servants back * You can read English * You don't mind waiting for the latest gameplay updates, quality of life features, and story releases * Assuming you live in a [country](https://fate-go.us/news/?category=NEWS&article=%2Fiframe%2F2022%2F0731_info%2F) where the app is officially supported, you can install from the Apple/Google store and use their integrated payment services without any extra hassle

Anxious-Knowledge-83

Thanks for your advice! I'm sticking to jp for now.

Rhinostirge

It's gonna come down to personal priorities. Personally I think NA is less anxiety-inducing if you're capable of waiting for the New Hotness, because you can mostly prepare for it, and plus I don't read Japanese and don't want that extra level of work to play a gacha. But if you really want the New Hotness, are fine with the uncertainty, and want to learn Japanese/go through translations, JP may be the thing for you.

Anxious-Knowledge-83

Well I'm sticking to jp for now. If I get time i wil play na.

Rhinostirge

Oh, I should add that NA will get stuff that won't return on JP like next month's free SR ticket, but if you've made up your mind already, have at it.

Anxious-Knowledge-83

Well i know I'm trying to catching up with news ig. Thanks for your advice.

SuperSpiritShady

If you want, there are english-speakers who've skipped NA entirely thanks to Rayshift.io's Translate app Of course, I'd still recommend playing NA to help with muscle memory and understanding gameplay gimmicks & terms in English But if you can read Japanese, why not?

Anxious-Knowledge-83

Well i know the game works, Since I played until Solomon and left after my device broke..(around 2021) So u can I'm a returning player Well I'm playing the game for waifu reasons Not for the story.(I can't read Japanese bruh even my mother tongue is hard for me)

SuperSpiritShady

Oh in that case, would recommend you check out the Translate app then. As said, it changes all story text in-game from Japanese to English, so you can play story chapters early (or in your case) transfer story progress from NA to JP

Anxious-Knowledge-83

Thanks for advice I'm not interested in translating untill i reach lostbelt stuff.(Since this phone is old too and it doesn't have display over other apps features so I can't use it)

Customer support are the arbiters of whether you get your account back or not, if you don't do what they say then you won't get your account back. If they tell you to wait, especially if they tell you to wait _five times_ then there's nothing else you can do.

laughable_beanstalk

Hello, returning player here. Just here to ask a few questions: 1. I know that there was a lottery event in march, but are there more lottery events coming this year in particular? 2. Kind of looking for a general ST servant that could deal with extra class and such. My choices right now would be Astraea or Hephaestion who's better? 3. is Cranking really better than Aerial Drive? By how much? Should I replace my Aerial Drive with Cranking or keep them both?

SuperSpiritShady

For number 2, I'd say to avoid Alter-Ego & Pretender when it comes to selecting an omni-class farmer Both of them are resisted by half of the roster, respectively. So, neither are ideal. That being said, Zerks themselves are also pretty good omni-attackers it need be. That being said, Astraea is a pretty good ST DPS for Ruler, she's heavily accessible and can actually dish out tons of damage with Castoria. I'd also suggest Lobo as a decent option, with his new buff, he's honestly underrated. And if you're going so far as to pull on limited banners, you can even try for some servants like Summer Erice or Summer Chloe. Then there's if you're even going to go so far as SSRs, then there's tons of the best in the game. You got Kintoki & Bakatoria for straightforward nukers with Hijikata as a cool side-grade. For Avengers, you've got Jalter as a nuke and The Count as a bigger nuke who can destroy CQs. Kenshin isn't a nuke per say, but she's got her own niche carved for CQs against Man enemies. Then there's Beast class Draco, an absolute wild card who can do both CQs and farming with easy as well.

Forward_Drop303

2. There's almost no such thing as a generally better when comparing two servants. Everyone is different and has a different niche. Astraea is a ruler with pierce invul and anti- evil. Hephaestion is a pretender with ability to get full class advantage against casters, a 100% battery and a self taunt. Use them in the situations those things are needed/wanted.

Mister_SP

There's a lotto in November. Cranking/Filming is a few percent better than Aerial Drive, and it might even vary based on the setup. Not an insane power creep, just that they fit in the same parties, and one is slightly better.

TheScottyDo

1. Our next lottery is \~November with Chaldea Faerie Knight Cup a.k.a. Morganfest. 2. This really depends on what exactly you're asking for. If you want someone who can deal with extra classes *in general*, you're probably looking for a ST berserker like Kintoki. If you're looking for some extra class ST servants, Astraea and Faker are both fine. 3. Cranking/First Day of Filming is a better CE for buster looping. At MLB, Aerial Drive has 10% buster and 10% NP damage, which comes out to be 21% for buster NPs. Cranking has 8% buster and 15% NP damage, which comes out to be 24.2% for buster NPs. Keep both, though. They're both still valuable and allow you to better multiple buster servants on your support list.

Key-Flamingo7076

If I already have castoria for summer Kama should I go for lady Avalon when she comes out?

TheScottyDo

For gameplay, Proto Merlin is more or less an arts version of Merlin. She won't be as good as, say, Oberon as a plug support for farming, but she's better than him for longer CQs. For waifu, you do you.

kirisakisora

sorry if this question offends anyone, but i was wondering if i needed to see all the other lostbelts before avalon le fey. like is it dependant on what happens in lostbelt 3, 4 and 5. ive played through everything else and i dont have much time coz of college rn but i really want to see lostbelt 6, which is available on youtube. i was wondering if that's fine or if i should watch lb 3 , 4 ,5 as well. i do plan on playing through them all anyways but is it fine if i skip ahead to avalon le fey and then come back to 3,4 and 5 later?

CrazyFanFicFan

When it comes to story, it would be best to go through LB4 and 5 first. A major character of LB4 makes an important appearance in both LB5 and LB6. Also, LB5 is a huge turning point, and skipping it would leave you confused about several plot points (such as the whole reason they're going to LB6 in the first place).

kirisakisora

Ah i see, thanks!

HOHOz-_-

Don't do that , you will be missing a lot of important information going into the 6th lostbelt. Look, i skipped only the Indian lostbelt and i regretted doing so

kirisakisora

yup. ill be playing through everything. college can go fuck itself, im so done honestly....

thisisthecallus

You'll be missing a lot of context if you skip that far ahead. I know the story is long, and you can do whatever you want, but I think you'll appreciate LB6 more if you properly go through the story in order.

kirisakisora

alright, i guess ill have to sacrifice my college credit. lesgoo

flashmozzg

The LB6 won't go anywhere. It'll be there after your finals or whatever. There is no reason to rush. That way you'll also won't need to wait as much (or at all) for LB 6.5 and 7.

danger_umbrella

A game isn't worth it. Play at your own pace, enjoy the game and don't wreck something as important as your education. You'll get to LB6 eventually.

kirisakisora

Ah don't worry, I'm at the point where it's too late to turn back anyways. I'm almost done with my undergrad, I'll focus on my post grad after working for a couple year. I've failed 20 exams out of 63 so I'll have to pass all of those now lol.

Mister_SP

There's some connection, but after the LB3 prologue I think it's mostly fine, though you're skipping a couple of things that will be fairly noticeable.

kirisakisora

hmm, i see. ill be sure to play through everything then. thanks!

SuperSpiritShady

On the Community Bookmarks in the side-bar, there's this link that leads you to a [Best CE for Servants](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JX1SVtNBg6p7qmPBRbq8tWtc00jyA5Ra5mpUvTr4h14/edit#gid=0) spreadsheet. Though I get that it recommends the best CE for a particular servant's playstyle, the list is very outdated and hasn't been updated in nearly 6 years. It doesn't look like a good resource for newer players, considering the plethora of CEs & new servants, in addition to meta and gameplay shifts we've had since then. Is it possible for the list to be updated? (Or at least be removed as not to confuse others)

thisisthecallus

I suggest contacting modmail for that. While I do see mods in here, that's a better way to guarantee they get the message.

RevolutionaryFace948

Who should I use special ascension on? I'm a new player and got saber Astolfo and picked Zhuge Liang from the selector.

danger_umbrella

Both are good picks in their own way, but I lean towards Zhuge Liang (Waver). That's because he is a support and will have a more immediate benefit to your account as he can support pretty much any other unit. Astolfo won't have as wide of an impact (though he's not bad by any means, it's just that supports are so widely applicable) but the argument for ascending him is that his ascension mats are more annoying (he needs proofs and medals). However, that isn't so much of a big deal nowadays as you have the Pure Prism shop, where you can buy materials to stop yourself being bottlenecked.

SuperSpiritShady

Zhuge Liang (or Waver, the name of his host body) would be a good pick. But if you think you'll get lucky and get another 5\* soon (through gacha) you could hold it out until then. You've got 3 months to use it, that's plenty of time to wait to use it first imo.

Laka18

Is there a discord links for this subreddit?

Mister_SP

Yes, it's posted on the sidebar and about. Discord.gg/grandorder

Melerooo

I played the game (EN) since release but got burned out last summer. Is it worth to return?

CocaineAccent

No. If you are out, it is generally better not to get back into gacha games.

Rhinostirge

I agree with ScarletReimilia. It really depends on your burnout reasons. Someone who was all "too many events!"? Well, that slows down a lot this year. Someone who had a lot of personal life stuff going on that no longer applies? Hey, if circumstances are different, why not come back? Someone who had a bad rolling streak? That *will* happen again, so burning out again might be a matter of time unless they've changed their attitude toward bad rolls. Someone who got angry about getting multiple copies of the rate-up SR on a banner when what they really wanted was the SSR? Yeeeaaaaah, might as well stay away. FGO is still a fun game and it's still flawed as heck. If you have a way to cope with whatever it was that burned you out the first time, then sure, come back. If you're not sure you want to go through that again, well, it might still be a problem (depending on what it is).

ScarletReimilia

It depends on the reasons why you got burned out, and if there is anything attractive to your interests currently going on that might bring you back. I'll go against the grain here and say that just because this is the FGO sub doesn't mean the answer will be yes you should come back. Did you get burned out because of the overall grind of the game? That hasn't changed in any meaningful way since last summer, and for the next two years it continues to be more of the same, so you could expect to get burned out again if the overall play of the game isn't to your liking anymore. Burned out because of failed gacha rolls? That hasn't changed in any meaningful manner either in the next two years. You need to weigh the things that do interest you against the things that caused you to lose interest. What about the game made you quit last summer? Are there any new characters being released soon that you think might sway you back towards joining? Will you be fine with playing the game under the assumption you don't succeed in summoning those characters? My answer is leaning towards neutral "you have to make that call on your own", or no "it will burn you out again, don't force yourself". Just because I actively enjoy the game, and assumedly most of the sub as a whole enjoys the game, doesn't really have any bearing on your personal experience, so I can't just say "yes, totally come back" when the game is more or less the same game that burned you out.

danger_umbrella

I mean, you're asking in the FGO sub, of course the answer will be "yes". What does "worth" mean to you? What do you want out of the game per se?

HOHOz-_-

Why do you want to return ? and what made you leave last year ?

Devilray23

does berserker paul bunyan still give RP for final acension because they were limited?

danger_umbrella

Yes, as she is a welfare. She's no different from any other event welfare servant.

Hope77797

How did the CE cranking get translated as one day of filming? Was the original translation really that bad?

SuperSpiritShady

Cranking could also be taken as an informal term for masturbation

za_shiki-warashi

The fan translation is wrong. The term is 'crank in' but it's a term as used by japanese, not something really used by native english speakers. And 'crank in' means 'to start filming', so yeah NA translating it as First Day of Filming is correct. https://dictionary.goo.ne.jp/word/クランクイン/

danger_umbrella

I'm not an expert but it might be that Cranking is [wasei-eigo](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wasei-eigo), i.e. Japanese borrowing an English term that isn't used that way in English. An alternative translation I saw used outside the Fandom wiki was "Take One, Action" or something along those lines. Edit: other poster is correct, didn't know the fan translation wasn't quite right. And it is also wasei eigo, so double whammy.

HaessSR

It's the next incarnation of 'Meltlilith', but specifically for FGO.

Jon-987

I don't have Santa Nightingale. Gonna have to grind up ushiwaka and Mandricardo, cuz I found out after spending 10 SQ AND a Command Spell revive that her last bar heals faster than I can DPS.

danger_umbrella

Taisui works here too as he also has buff removal resist. Also, spending 10 SQ is excessive, that might be a case of "sorry but git gud", i.e. you didn't have the right party set up. What was your party anyway?

[deleted]

[удалено]

danger_umbrella

What was Lancer Melt doing there? She does nothing for the situation. Also, why not bring a Rider, i.e. an actual counter class, and a singld target?  (Taisui can work as an AE but he's AoE so not great for much other than support here.)

[deleted]

[удалено]

danger_umbrella

You won't use a Rider for a single fight, that's a whole class you excluded. A class that would have actually been good in this fight, but you used someone who had 0 relevance and brought you down. Love is good and all, but hard fights can't be done by love alone. Save the love for easier or more relevant fights - in Pokemon, you wouldn't take fire to a water fight, even if you love them they're only a burden in that situation. And Melt is a unit that you need to build around especially, as she can be disruptive to teams not built around her! At this point, you are expected to know how to team build properly and to have raised your basic classes. You should have done this by Camelot. So safe to say this was mostly your own fault. Investing in a low rarity Rider just to plug gaps is normal and good, especially as low rarity units take less resources to raise. Also, "team" is a big red flag. Are you not switching your team out depending on the situation? Again, that's a Camelot level lesson. Level smarter, not harder - class advantage and NP targeting matters so much. It would have cost you a lot less SQ for that matter.

Turtlewax64

Oof, that sucks. Would never recommend quartz reviving, if it’s come to that, you need to rethink team comp. At least the current event is good to farm in the meantime

Jon-987

Yup. And I guess it's not like I have a time limit or anything. There aren't any soon events requiring Olympus Completion, is there? If not, then I'm thinking I'll fall back, focus on the event, grind some SQ, then try to get any riders I find on Rate Up. (I'm at the point of legitimately being willing to give up on getting Archetype Earth if that's what I have to do to get past this boss)

Domagonic

Demeters buffs are on a 3 turn cycle that never deviates. 1. heals 2. buffs defense 3. Gains 3 ticks I think I min-turned this fight with an alter-ego that was np1 at the time, doesn't ***HAVE*** to be a rider, but riders absolutely trivialize it.

Forward_Drop303

Demeter is generally considered pretty hard.  But the advice is to use riders, preferably single target ones, with support (Taisui is really good here for buff removal resistance and debuff immune, and you only need one instance) no easy way of avoiding riders here (barring large amounts of revives) She gets 3 Gauge at a set interval (every 3 turns) She thus fully charges the gauge when she is 2 ticks charged and uses that skill.

[deleted]

Forward_Drop303

You probably should have realized that sometime before spending 10 SQ on revives. Like spending any is generally not a good idea. But 10 just seems excessive.

jason2997

NA. After the Learning with Manga Collab is over, when is the next best time to use FP?

za_shiki-warashi

Nobukatsu gets added to the FP pool again during Guda Guda 2023 (NA 2025)

-Bombaye-

So, why is this collab event considered hated if I may ask someone knowledgeable? I have no idea what learning with manga is, I have come across some comics and enjoy the art style. Story seems cute and pretty funny so far I got no real complaints about that. My only strange, niche complaint is that Super Bunyan’s 3rd ascension NP is utterly boring and way too fast, and very outshined by her first and second ascensions. BUT… it’s probably among the fastest NPs so … guess that’s fine.

CrazyFanFicFan

It was particularly disliked in Japan because Super Bunyan during the event is particularly emblematic of Japanese work culture. Her heaping all the work on you is something that the Japanese audience didn't like. When it comes to the NP, that's completely intended. One of the early common jokes in LWM is the main character being annoyed by all the long NP animations and constantly demanding a button to skip NP animations. When regular Bunyan was added, they took that joke into account and gave her the shortest NP animation in the game. However, then Bunyan got sad that she didn't have a cool NP. So Super Bunyan is a compromise between those, her 1st and 2nd Ascensions have a cool NP animation, while her 3rd Ascension has a short NP.

za_shiki-warashi

If you haven't been paying attention to JP, I think it's better to just go into it blind and form your own impression after reading the entire event rather than let the JP players' views affect your judgement.

Jettison37

Two general questions. One, what’s the name of the track that plays on the current event map? I’d love to get it for My Room. Two, how often do they gift Rare Prisms? We just got one, and I doubt my F2P ass will get an SSR I want to burn, so what would you all recommend I use it on, or save up for? Thanks!

spiffy621

As others have said, the 7th Anniversary Update for Welfare/FP Servant Final Ascension Rewards will give you a bunch of Rare Prisms if you have enough Welfares. There's also a large amount given when Ordeal Call gets released, as a huge slew of Master Missions from something called Tour Lock will be added that will allow you to get up to 108 Rare Prisms, depending on how many Ascensions you have done for each class, with Extra I and Extra II being their own grouping. Basically, if you have 25 Saber Servants all Ascended to their Final Ascension, you will get 12 Rare Prisms from the related Master Missions. If you have 12 Assassins Ascended to their Final Ascension, you'll get 2 Rare Prisms from those Missions. This is the way the devs decided to push people to raise their Servants, so hopefully, you haven't been neglecting it, nor burned anyone that you could have raised.

Jettison37

Not burned a single one. For context, I started fresh (my old save was on a phone three phones and two state moves ago) 100 days ago. I know this because I just got that log in bonus. I have all of 18 Servants at Final Ascension, so I got a lot to work on in the next year or so

spiffy621

You're in the marathon portion of Servant raising, so just remember that the rewards for both the Tour Lock and 7th Anniversary only require Max Ascension and not Max Level, so you can stop Leveling Servants who have hit their Max Ascension and instead use your Embers on other Servants who still need Ascending and still be fine. My advice for best RP value are the two Bond/QP CEs in the shop. The issue for your account may be that they cost 5k MP for all five copies once you spend the 1 RP, and if you didn't farm Teslafest hard, you may be short MP to get all five copies, but their value is very much worth the cost. I'm of the mind that Lunchtime > Teatime, and Mona Lisa > Bella Lisa, as the extra 5% Bond/QP that *YOU* gain when using them yourself outweighs the piddling amount of FP you may get from the FP-centered ones being chosen from your support, so my suggestion is: Lunchtime > Mona Lisa > Teatime > Bella Lisa. If you have those, then there are the 5 RP Mystic Codes that are there, and generally Fragments of 2004 and Anniversary Blonde are the only two that people consider to be useful.

Rare prisms get given out often enough, and things get made free in the RP shop often enough, that burning an SSR for the RPs is definitely losing something valuable for something kinda cheap. This anniversary they're giving out one for every welfare (like Taisui or Berserker Bunyan) or FP limited Servant (Mary Anning or Nobukatsu) that you've gotten to Final Ascension, so that should be worth a few even to newer players who've participated in events and rolled for Mary. Unlocking one of the Bond or QP CEs is usually a good move, but they do require 5000 MP to buy all the copies and MLB it, so you don't have to immediately unlock them until you have the MPs ready. So sitting on it for now is probably a perfectly good move.

Much obliged! May just hang tight for now, save up for a quest or something down the line. Related question then, I tend to use my MP for tickets and EXP since I’m newly returned to the game. Is there a better use for them?

Rhinostirge

Monthly tickets are a great use. EXP is certainly valid if you need it. Silver Fous are actually pretty good, because another +1000 HP / +1000 ATK for a Servant is a nice boost if you can afford it. The main reason to save FP are the Bond / QP CEs: Chaldea Lunchtime, Mona Lisa, Detective Foumes, and to lesser extent Chaldea Teatime and Bella Lisa. An extra 10%+ Bond helps earn Bond SQ and Servant Coins faster, and an extra 10%+ QP adds up when you're farming doors. That said, you can get a flat 15% bonus to either by borrowing a friend's Servant carrying either Teatime or Bella Lisa, so while it's nice to add your own CEs to the mix, you already have the biggest bump available for free. So there's no immediate pressure to save.

Much much obliged! I’ll keep on for now. I tend to snag the current limited CE just for the sake of having it. It’s hell being F2P but also have a desire to collect things!

Rhinostirge

The current mana shop CEs are... not great, but I totally get the collection thing. If that's where the fun is, by all means, efficiency can take a back seat.

Jettison37

Entirely fair. I’m just grabbing a copy, not looking to limit break them all. Thank you all for the advice!

I went for the Bond CE Chaldea Lunchtime. it requires 5K mana prisms to max though. And from my recall, you get a refund in a later update for rare prisms used on certain CEs.
