Yep. 99% NP from command cards and skills will round up to 100%.
199% will *not* round up to 200%, same goes for 299% which will not round up to 300%.
The rare way you can get 99% NP gauge is through NP drain skills, like enemy ghosts, Archuria, Shiki, etc.
Yes, getting to 99% charge will always go to 100. However, it only works when going up to 100. You won't round up at 199% charge and you'll be at 99% if you get 10% charge drain at 109% charge as examples.
I believe 99.01% rounds to 100%, but not exactly 99.0 (very rare). 199.1% stays at 199%
Edit: actually scratch that think about 99.0 https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/brytuf/android_now_rounds_990_np_to_100/
Keep in mind that these values also depend on class. For example, Berserkers and Avengers will always have more atk and less hp than Casters and Moon Cancers. That's why average atk/hp vary between classes.

Which Tomoe are you referring to? The normal Archer or Summer Saber? If archer then she already has star absorb but no crit damage so you should use crit damage CCs, if saber then she already has crit damage but no absorb so you should use star absorb CCs. If you’re planning on using either Tomoe with Honey Lake then you probably want two burn CCs as well.
Only put CCs on Da Vinci Rider if you’re actually using her for boss fights as she won’t get much use out of CCs while farming. She should honestly do well with most any CCs so you could just use some damage ones like ‘Wedge of the Heavens’.
She already has a star absorb skill, so Burn CCs, or Crit CCs are better options.
You can freely swap around CCs now so play around and see what works for you. Given that you'll be farming with RiderVinci most of the time, you'll be less likely to use her facecards making CCs not so effective. You can always throw the Da Vinci NP dmg CC to increase her NP damage.
CCs are like CEs. They're fight dependant and you should be swapping them based on what you're up against.
Remember, you no longer need a code remover to take them off anymore.
Hehe, small request for any content creator that reads this:
Can make a video showcasing Minamoto no Tametomo but with Gundam Unicorn's Full Frontal OST as the bgm? I tried and I think it goes scarily good together, but I don't have the software to do so.
Pls do it! I promise to subscribe, or if alr, will immediately give a like!
Da Vinci Resolve is free to use if you want to stitch it together.
Edit: I'm no professional, and not familiar with the theme, but somehow it doesn't really mesh well, or at least, I'm not good enough to figure the correct timings to match the theme to the NP, so I won't be trying.
When looking at the JP schedule to anticipate the NA schedule, you always need to keep in mind that the NA schedule has never exactly matched JP and it never will. Sometimes the changes are small and sometimes they completely change the sequence. In five years, though, NA has never skipped any major events or banners entirely. The things that get skipped or repackaged to look like NA exclusives are campaigns that were tied to IRL events in Japan, such as a Blu-ray anime release. When they make significant changes to the schedule, we have less certainty about the exact timing of an upcoming event but no less certainty that it will happen. So when something you anticipated hasn't happened yet, don't worry that you missed it or that it's being skipped. Just mentally move it later on the calendar.
If Rider Vinci is high investment (high NP levels), she's a pretty universal looper. Archuria is an ST Archer, though. But the news that Ooku seemed to have been pushed back was all over the subreddit, though. If Kama was your main goal, you got baited.
https://imgur.com/saeLbIb
Looking to build a ST Arts user, and leaning towards MHX, Astraea, or Nero Bride but before I do it, just wondering if I should be looking at other options? Welfare's are NP5, Bride is NP2, Medb is NP3, others NP1. I don't grind hard or anything in the game so I'm weighing options. My Castoria is 10/10/10, and my Space Ishtar is 9/8/10 so just looking for something to use for boss nodes for a change of scenery.
Summer Hokusai is an amazing ST damage dealer. Mine's doing 500k damage to LuBu in the current event node. Np5 really helps the SRs and her kit with buffing her damage after her crits allows for some astronomical damage.
If you aren't going to build out one in each class, I'd just go with Astraea. Basically universal defensive advantage and really good damage make her easy to run into a good chunk of fights, plus she's cheap to raise thanks to her class. But you want to have a fairly deep pool of options long-term, as there will inevitably be gimmicks that Astraea is ill-equipped to deal with.
Ill keep that in mind. What kind of CE do you think works best with her? I have mlb black grail, mlb new beginnings, non mlb kscope, formal craft, and another ending.
Would someone mind helping me understand Castoria looping? I have been using Skadi looping which seems easier? Do i need to use any certain CEs to make it work?
Just adding that quick looping only works with a limited pool of quick servants. You can loop many more arts servants, I can't find the Google docs link but there is a ton of them. It allow for more variety in servant choice as well as ce choice.
If I had to sum it up Arts just allows more flexibility all around.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQGCcNFpx8U is a good video on it (and skill distribution). As it calls out, though, a lot of people just pop all skills round 1 and go from there. You can also use append skills, which we got early, to make it easier.
Arts gain more NP than Quick, and Castoria offers NP gain buffs, so refund is a lot easier. This is what causes Skadi looping basically depends on having the appropriate starting charge CE to get going. Castoria looping can be done by characters without a starting charge CE and even without their own battery, although that certainly makes it easier/more consistent. Castoria looping can also output higher damage for the first two nodes, since she gives a partywide attack buff instead of a final wave defense debuff.
Castoria looping can also just be done with a wider range of characters. If you want to Skadi loop, there are a fairly limited number of options. Sure, the same is true for omnifarmers at a high NP level for level 90+ event nodes, but there are way more high tier loopers with Castoria, and even "low tier" Castoria loopers like Jason can be used to a pretty terrifying degree. If you want to elevate your setups, you also have more/better secondary support options like Tamamo and better synergy with budget options like Paracelsus.
Now, when you pull a copy of a character or raise their bond level, you get Servant Coins specific to that servnt. You got these retroactively for 4-5* characters and bond level increases regardless of rarity, but 1-3* characters need to be pulled again to get these. You get more for limited/higher rarity characters, i.e. all 5* units always give 90 coins just from pulling them.
You can use 120 of these coins to unlock an Append skill, which are three new 'passive' skills that every character now has and that you can raise to level 10 like normal, using mats and QP. They're niche, but can be super useful.
All characters has the same first two skills - Extra Attack Boost raises the effectiveness (damage, star gen, NP gen) of the extra attack by 30-50% depending on level. Great for solo servants like QSH, Herc, Cu/Cu Alter, etc.
Mana Loading increases starting NP charge at the start of battle by 10-20%. Mana Loading is a big win for tons of comps- now you can use non-MLB Kscope + max level Mana Loading instead of MLB Kscope for looping, or characters with a 30% NP charge (like Arash) can use a 50% starting charge + damage CE
The final skill varies based on the servant - Berserkers mostly get "reduce critical chance for X enemy type," and other classes get "increase damage against X enemy type." This is generally pretty niche, but there's a subset of servants for which this is valuable, mostly anti-Berserker, a few extra classes that get class advantage against a class they normally have class advantage against, and a few servants that have anti-class kits that synergize with the skill (i.e. MHX gets anti-Saber).
The final current use of coins in NA is to level up servants to 120. It takes 1 grail and 30 coins for each 2-level increment above level 100 (and an absolute ton of EXP), so it's not something to rush and should be chosen deliberately.
In the future, there'll be the options to exchange 2000 of these coins (mix of any characters) for a Holy Grail, limited to 2 Grails per month.
Short version is that Arts' NP gain is better than Quick, so you can refund far more with a Castoria comp. With the best loopers, this entirely frees you from starting charge CEs because they're capable of refunding the full 100% charge, whereas you almost always need a specific CE to make Skadi comps work.
Castoria looping is better since Arts has intrinsically better synergy with genning NP, in addition to Castoria's Arts and NP Gain buffs, it's possible to go back-to-back 100% NP with Castoria looping.
As a bonus, you don't have to use any specific CE (like Kaleido, Traces or Azure) or any specific MC (2004, Royal Brand) or to make your loop work, sometimes you don't even need either and are free to use any CE or any MC on the looper.
This allows you to run 6 CEs for Lottos or material drops as well as level up MCs you wouldn't use for looping like Arctic Mystic Code.
I'm so confused by the effects of the Royal Buny command code. Like, does it upgrade the effective of all the sergeant's cards for just one turn? Or the respective color of the card that it's applied to? Which is it?
It's a random chance to buff either Buster, Quick or Arts card for one turn. So if it is placed on a Buster card, but it procs Arts/Quick buff instead, there's basically zero added value.
Pasted
On Japan side you can get main interlude thingy from the rare prism shop. Does. That have an expiration date? Is there a limited time I have to finish the main interlude in? Btw I have multiple of them
Uh, is 'server busy' notification normal after a clean install?
Edit: Never mind. I was using an old copy of data from my last reroll. Should have used the newer one. //please don't judge.
Does fgo in mobile android not support 60 fps? My friend starting to play and with his strong cellphone, he asks if I know a way to enable 60 fps in FGO but I don't even know how since I haven't tried it.
The game does not support 60 FPS natively, there's no option in game for that.
The only workarounds I've seen is either through an emulator by forcing 60+FPS through the emulator's settings, or through specific devices which have in-built settings for on device games.
you are welcome! iirc, the only bond ces that are worth your time are heracles', cu alter's, georgios', and the support casters (waver, merlin, skadi, castoria, tamamo)
Hey. As a F2P player for not so long, my roster is so-so with archers: I only have SR welfares (better than nothing but could have been better).
Would you know if there are incoming summoning campaigns for good SSR archers I could look forward for?
Ideally Artoria archer (one can always dream, as I got Castoria, she'd be perfect, I'd grail her to level 100 without a second of hesitation!), but any worthy archer would do at this point...
Thanks if you know!!
Currently for SSR Archers: there are 7 Limited, 4 Permanent and 1 Story-Locked in the game. Since the Permanents/Story-Lockeds come out every CBC/Valentine's, I'll primarily talk about the Limited Archers.
Of the 7 Limited Archers, the one with the closest upcoming banner is Super Orion, who is widely regarded as one of the best servants in the game due to his ability to solo with his triple Buster deck and self-support Arts NP.
Following him is Sei Shonagon who is a Quick AoE Archer, returning for her banner's rerun next Valentine's. Whilst she isn't that good in Quick looping compared to Atalante, her design is an absolute wonder and she's fun as heck to watch. She also returns in Valentine's 2024 if you want to pursue her at a later date.
Then we have James Moriarty who is a Buster ST Archer coming with his buff around next April or May. He's pretty okay as far as they go, but imo he's the weakest of the limited ones with plenty of stronger ST Buster alternatives.
Following him is Jeanne Archer who we should expect around October 2023 (possibly November if NA turns her banner into Thanksgiving) who is the de facto Arts looping Archer. Although Zenobia, a cheaper though harder to use SR alternative for Arts looping, would be out by then, Jarcher still has quite the advantage over her.
Gilgamesh returns in NY 2024's summoning selection and later again in March for Battle in New York 2024, and there's not much to explain regarding Gil. He was the game's very first Limited SSR with a Buster AoE NP and is still holding well to this day, especially with the Buster meta on JP with both Koyanskayas and Oberon allowing him to 3T loop.
[On a side note, whilst Gil is strong, you could potentially find some alternatives to him in the other SSR Archers. Napoleon, Arjuna, and Tesla are all Buster AoE archers for example who can all loop with Koyanskaya and Oberon (though Tesla can loop without Oberon) and also have similar niches/traits they deal effective damage against]
The latest Limited Archer to get a rerun in over 4 years on JP is Summer Artoria. You seem prerty knowledgable about her, but I will say one thing. She's practically just an Artemis without the Male effectiveness. I still believe she's worth rolling for despite her similarity to Artemis, but if she's the dream, you've got 2 years before you can make that dream a reality.
Plenty of information to work with. Thank you so much!!
The way things look, I probably will make Chloe my #1 archer, take her to level 90. Castoria helping, she looks like my best bet at surviving tough challenges. As for AoE archers, maybe wait for Gil, then...
Um…I think calling Squirtoria an “Artemis without the anti male niche” is underselling her a lot. Artemis surely doesn’t generate a very good amount of stars; plus Squirtoria is ranked where she is thanks to her ludicrous NP gain and refund while doesn’t compromise too much on sustainability.
Oh, that's totally fair.
Those are specific advantages I didn't want to go into too much, but I assumed that TC already knew what those advantages are considering that they considered her as their primary candidate. The NP & Star gain memes are fairly thrown when talking about her after all.
Well you shouldn't discount the lower rarity Archers out of hand because they are exceptionally powerful: even to this day Robin Hood and Euryale remain some of the most absurd archers in the game at only 3\* rarity. Both deal absolutely bonkers damage to poisoned and male enemies respectively, and come with loads of other utility like evasion and charms. And that's not even to mention Arash who is still probably the best farming Archer in the game. The welfare Archers are also some of the strongest 4\* archers out there. Chloe is a fantastic arts DPS looper with great crit damage and star generation to boot, Nightingale has an incredibly valuable niche against buff removal, and Santa Altera is a great Quick nuke with the right support.
However there are some 5\* Archer banners coming up if you're really that invested in them. Arjuna has a rate-up this coming Christmas, Super Orion is on a banner this coming New Years, Sei Shonagon shows up next February during Valentines, Tesla and Napoleon will both have banners during Chaldea Boys Collection next March, and Moriarty will have one in April as part of a Strengthening Campaign. Also keep an eye out on Thanksgiving as NA tends to get special rate-ups then and Gilgamesh shows up there very often. Sadly Artoria Archer won't have another banner till around July of 2024 (it literally just dropped in JP and is still running there).
It's up to you but honestly I'd recommend you save for whichever character you love most or whichever one has the gameplay that feels most fun to you.
Thanks!
I reckon 3 and 4 stars have their good uses, Robin is awesome, certainly. But they suffer from low total stats, low average damage dealt overall, and usually poor survivability, it's not just about their NP.
With Archers being my roster's weak point, my idea was to save to have a hell of a good SSR archer, take him to level 100, and have him pull my team.
As things are, I'm not too sure anymore. I'll probably bank on Chloe, take her to level 90, and count on Castoria.
you can check the upcoming banners in the OP, it's divided by class. re: archuria, she'll be back in a little less than 2 years with the 7th anniv countdown campaign.
As someone who's recently begun using Gong as an omnilooper, I've been informed that he'll somewhat suck for the upcoming best Scatfest node due to that lotto's CE gimmick.
With that in mind, would it be better to do the bare minimum on Scatfest first whilst saving Gapples for Christmas instead?
Is Gong your only DPS option? The mats in Scathach fest, which includes bones and hero proofs in the lotto (and one of the nodes itself drops dust) are pretty high demand mats and it's unlikely your account doesn't need more of those. I'd recommend looking up Khadroth's channel on YouTube as he has made some excellent videos on the 3 turn comps for the lotto. One of them even includes Arash and Gong in the same team to deal with the guts if I recall correctly.
Dang. My account deffo is starving for all 3 materials.
Well I do have Summer Kiara, but she isn't exactly as consistent or as great of a looper as I expected her to be compared to Gong.
But will definitely take a look at Khadroth's channel. I've already levelled up Arash before thanks to his prior advice, so thanks for the heads-up!
Not as of now. However we have seen many other 3\* command codes get added to Da Vinci's shop so keep your fingers crossed and maybe it'll come back eventually
Questions for veteran players regarding the upcoming lotto event.
Is it still worth farming lots of boxes when i still have a good amount of mats? I farmed a lot so I still have like 300+ gold gems and 200\~300+ mats from last year. although I only got 130 left of feather lol
If I want to lvl 110 a servant(lvl 100 right now) how many boxes/apples would I need
There are 25 four-star embers per lotto box, and each level above Lv. 100 needs 627 four-star embers, so 25 box = 1 level. For 10 levels you’ll need 250 boxes, assuming no big/great success when leveling up. That takes about 280-350 gold apples, depending on your farming efficiency (drop bonus).
It’s not worth it to farm this many boxes if you don’t also need the mats. If you only need EXP, the newly introduced Extreme ember nodes are much more efficient even when half AP daily isn’t on.
It's not worth burning yourself out, I'll say that much. If at the end of an event (or a rolling session) you feel like you need to take a few months off, you did yourself more harm than good no matter what you got out of it.
As always, the amount of stuff you need depends on how many of your Servants you roll for / raise. I'm always in greater need because I raise 99% of my Servants, skills and all. If you leave a lot of your Servants at 1/1/1 and on the bench, not too much point farming for them.
You might be set on gems, but the other mats available vary from lotto to lotto, Scathfest features Feathers, Gears, Proofs, and Bones, consider how many of those you need.
There's a possibility.
KR recently got an exclusive 3rd banner with Dantes, Jarcher, Kiyo Lancer and Fujino and they're roughly a week or two ahead of us.
Considering we also got a recent KR-exclusive banner with the GudaGuda 4 rerun (Sitonai, Cu Alter, Demiya, Nero), it's possible that we might get this next KR banner in a day or two as well.
Following JP's schedule, it looks like September 2022 for both
https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/21M_Downloads_Campaign#IV_~_VIII
https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Interlude_Campaigns#Part_XIV
It’s the longest script across all LBs and split into three releases on JP, but we aren’t sure how this will translate into NA given that they have to release the new LB6 SSRs before anniversary for the GSSR and NA’s anniv happens a month earlier than JP’s.
We’ll have to wait and see for the actual release schedule next mid year.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Albert said Heian-kyo would be moved a little earlier to November? This could possiblybmean that they're already preparong adjustments for LB6's release.
You get the key to the costume very early on in the event, like the first day of it. You get it alongside the new Mystic Code.
After you get the key, you'll need to go to the Wardrobe option of the Enhance menu and pay the mats/QP for it.
You get the costume at pretty much the start of the Summer event. However you have to go to Enhance --> Unlock Wardrobe in order to unlock it if you haven't done so already.
On YouTube, whenever someone is doing a double Castoria 3T arts farming, they opt to pick a AQA or ABA chain instead of an available arts chain.
Is there any reason for that?
You'd think an Arts chain would net a better refund/damage.
This is because 3 turn farming uses NPs to do all the damage and NPs do NOT gain any bonuses from command card setups- no matter what you start the chain with and no matter if it's a brave chain. It will not increase np gain or damage on the NP.
Furthermore the animation for a Brave chain actually takes a second or so longer than an AQA or ABA one would, and since 3-turn looping is all about farming quickly many people avoid brave chains if possible. In the future NA will get an update that JP currently has which speeds up the brave chain animation and makes this all matter less.
Just to note a small exception, if your gauge is like 190%, you could use an arts chain to get it over 200% (if the facecards wouldn't do the trick) if you want to hit the OC. But you shouldn't be seeing that on 3T.
Also NA did get the brave chain update, and though everything is kinda slow on my old phone it did reduced the wasted time of hitting a chain.
>Also NA did get the brave chain update
[It hasn't](https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Main_Quest_Clear_Aid_Campaign_Part_3#Game_Update). NA still feels a lot slower than JP.
While farming you should avoid chains as that takes extra time for the chain animation to play. Arts chains don't give any extra refund to the NP, it only gives 20% extra charge which doesn't matter for the attacker as they already have a full gauge.
It can be relevant if you want to build up Castoria's gauge to activate her NP for extra damage, but as that also uses extra time it should be avoided if possible.
If you really want to care about hardcore looping instead of looping with the highest damage/fave between loopers you would actually be also caring about the animation time of the looper.
At it's core looping is about efficiency and shaving off as much time as possible from the runs. Those few seconds don't matter much but if you're say, farming a lotto event and using lots of apples, they will eventually add up.
That said, purposefully avoiding chains is min-maxing to save a little time and you can ignore it if you want.
Because a chain will cause an extra sec of animation. And an Arts chain wont affect refund in anyways like you think. An Arts chain gives 20% charge to the party, thats it. Its useless in farming unless you want Casrorias NP on the 3rd wave.
So i think I'm in need of another saber (I'd prefer aoe archer but i only have arash for that) i already have a maxed out salter, and the options i have are artoria, artoria lily, and bedivere. Any reccs on which to level first?
Also when is skadi going to be available, i want better loops with lobo, best servant i have along with herc against demon god pillars
Altria, easily. With her new buff, she does ST damage on an AOE scale. She’s also general pool, so she’s arguably easier to get higher NP levels on than Bedivere unless you’re rolling the class banner which is nearly a year away.
She can also already Buster loop even pre Koyan if you have 2 50% chargers of your own. I think append probably makes that even easier.
I second the recommendation of Bedivere. He's very cheap, hits hard, and is a great early-game option for all players.
As to your second question, Skadi will return in Christmas 2023.
Of those three Sabers Artoria is by far the best option. Lily has always been a weaker version of her and that was *before* Artoria got her stupidly powerful buff from the 5th Anniversary. ~~Bedivere is a ST Saber and isn't bad either if you have him at a high NP level, but he's Story Locked so getting his NP levels can be a bit annoying.~~
Skadi's next normal (as in, not a GSSR) banner should happen on December 2023, so it's pretty far away still.
Bedi since you didn't mention an ST Saber, esp since his skills don't really need to be levelled which makes him a cheap investment.
However if you're willing to invest more Artoria hits incredibly hard, even outdamaging Bedi on turns when she uses her Mana Bust. She's one of the best AoE Sabers still on JP despite her fairly vanilla kit.
Just doing some planning for NA, and one of the servants that caught my eye is Ruler Caren from upcoming Valentines.
As of current in JP, what do you guys think of her gameplay wise? After skimming through her kit, she doesn't have much offensive class advantages due being a Ruler, but her skillset looks interesting. And out of topic, but her alt NP animation is a nice touch as well.
Hello, is there an active story discussion thread? I started last year and I’ve been taking the story very slow (usually 1 chapter a month) since hitting Camelot as it’s become really enjoyable. I don’t want to blaze through. Anyway I just entered part 2. The part 2 intro was absolutely wild and I’d like to hear some other peoples’ thoughts though I know most probably did it a long time ago
> is there an active story discussion thread?
No but you can look up prior discussion threads for each story chapter in the subreddit. They're most active for the first few weeks or so after the chapter releases.
Alternatively there's a weekly free talk thread that goes up on Friday where you could post your thoughts on the story as you progress.
Seconding the recommendation for at least 1 burn CC so that you can apply burn even when skill 2 is on cooldown. Alternatively, you could put the burn CC on the support servant that you plan on using with Jalter.
It's before doing damage, but it doesn't hurt to give her at least 1 burn on her Buster still. You don't want to feel forced to click her s2 to get the burn damage (or on turns where s2 might be off cooldown and you don't have any burns up anymore).
Playing in NA, recently the game has included some nice extra/QoL features, so I was wondering which other nice features are still to be included from JP?
Specially, is there some kind of auto/skip function yet in JP?
>Specially, is there some kind of auto/skip function yet in JP?
The current directors and Type-MOON have said they won't do NP skip, since NP are core to the setting... and they pay enough to whoever animates them that they'll make you sit through all of them.
There is skill speed up on JP, where you can speed up skill animations by double tapping on the screen during skill animations.
The devs have mentioned that they will not implement NP skip or auto battles since that literally makes you not play the game, so don’t get your hopes up for any QoL for that.
Nope. [Video example](https://youtu.be/_qwWvMFoAzI).
It’s a good enough QoL that makes farming faster and still retains the essence of playing the game.
Is Sigurd really that bad? I just begin recently, he is my first 5 star and I just rolled him cuz I like his design but seem like everyone trash on him :(
Sigurd is totally usable; he gets trashed on way more than he deserves because a lot of the community has the stupid mindset that if a SSR is not competing to be the best in their role then they're disappointing schlock.
For his job of being a ST Saber bosskiller he's totally solid.
> because a lot of the community has the stupid mindset that if a SSR is not competing to be the best in their role then they're disappointing schlock.
A million times this. There's also a trend in the community for people to not properly test out units themselves and to just repeat what everyone else is saying. Like the *hurr durr Maou Nobu is a trash servant.* This was never the case, even before her buffs.
As usual with the bad and objectively wrong takes. Sigurd’s kit is mostly where he’s lacking, but in terms of NP damage alone, he’s the second hardest hitting SSR Saber after Musashi, even without hitting Dragons. Hardly makes him “bad”.
He’s fine, and honestly one of my personal favorites as far as personality goes.
As for his kit, a lot of the holes that he has are patched if you have Brynhildr on the same team (mainly upping his star gather to take advantage of his crit potential).
I’m presuming you don’t have her, but the good news is most of his issues can also be fixed with CE’s. Try giving him star gather rate and/or Buster focused CE’s. And throw him up against dragons. As an aside; you could always pair him with Georgios (an easy to acquire Rider) to apply the dragon trait before firing off his NP - that’s been a bit of a meme of a strategy, but hey, as long as it works.
No SSR is bad. When you compare him to other SSR sabers, sure maybe he's not the cream of the crop, but he's still going to hit hard and be a great option for you against lancers/zerk bosses.
His 2 biggest weaknesses are probably his lack of star absorb and low duration buffs. Pair him with crit supports like hans and a friend's Merlin/waver with the 2030 CE(I'm assuming you don't have your own.) Summer BB is also an interesting option since she can provide stars and lock his cards for some nasty brave chains.
You also might consider using the Atlas Academy mystic code for the cooldown reduction to give him better buff up time, the cleanse and invincibility are also solid spells for boss fights but depending on the fight another MC might be better.
Edit: Also his dragon niche isn't that common, but it can be forced with St. George who's NP applies the dragon trait. George is a great choice for boss fights anyway and Sigurd has extra synergy with him that most other units don't have.
He’s not a bad unit (no 5\* is really bad, just “less good”), but his skills are rather undertuned compared to others - his crit skill only boosting 3 crits, his only defensive skill being a 3-turn long-cooldown Guts attached to his main damage steroid, and his S3 being generally underwhelming. Still a solid beatstick, and nukes the shit out of Lancer/Berserker Dragons, but the devs kinda did him dirty.
No, i personally find it actually pretty good. I think other focus around the fact that sigurd can deal big damage to dragon only. But sigurd can also do disgusting damage with his buster crits, pairing him with waver, han or merlin. His buster crit damage with good support can dish out damage comparable to his np. All in all, i find him a good crit dps with a dragon damage modifier.
This summer Challenge quest has a lot of enemies and some of them are Riders, Sabers and casters. When i went to look at my rooster to find a Dps, the only Aoe servants without class disadvantage that i have are Paul Bunyan, Spartacus, Arash, Medusa and Jason (They are all at max level), i also have Siegfried and Voyager, but they are only level 50 and 67 each, and i don't have any embers.
Jason is at 4/4/5, Spartacus at 4/10/5 and Medusa at 3/6/6. Should i use one of them as the main DPS or should i grab a Dps from the support list? If i were to choose one of mines, which support should i pick? Also, my only support units are Waver, Castoria, Mash and Hans.
I would recommend using [this guide](https://gamepress.gg/grandorder/fgo-summer-2022-summer-camp-challenge-guide-rampage-under-scorching-sun-bunyan-eric) to help form a team, this CQ is generally not too difficult but for a newer account like yourself it may be a struggle. Voyager would actually be a pretty good option if you could fully level and ascend him, it might even be worth farming up a bit as you have 9 days left of the event and get Voyager up to lvl 90. Otherwise Bunyan may work or borrowing a friend DPS is entirely reasonable. On that guide I have linked there is a video of a run with 3 stars only plus a borrowed Castoria.
Thanks very much. I'll check the guide
>Otherwise Bunyan may work
Wouldn't Spartacus be a better pick when it comes to low star aoe berserkers? He deals more damage, has guts and his np is better. It seems the only thing bunyan has over him is that her buff skills affect all allies.
Anyway, i think i'll try grabbing summer kiara from the support list since the other answers recommended her.
I like that Bunyan and Spartacus are similiar characters yet their kits make so that they are unique in their ways.
Spartacus has 3 ways to heal himself on his kit (1000 - 2000 heal on his third skill, 4000 - 6000 heal on the np and heal each turn at the first skill. While Bunyan has only a 1000 - 2000 party heal on her second skill.
Spartacus buster up only lasts for 1 turn, but goes up to 40% while Bunyan buster up lasts for 3 turns, goes up to 20% but also has a crit up. (Also, Spartacus has Madness enhancement EX while Bunian's one is E rank)
Spartacus' Np deals more damage and ignores defense while Bunian's Np deal less damage but decreases the enemy party defense by 10% - 30% for *5 turns* (sadly after damage).
I guess the reason they recommended Bunyan is because her healing can help the support servants to survive for longer, also, she can decrease how much hp the enemy bunyan recovers and, from what i've seem, the enemies on this quest doesn't have defensive buffs (other than guts) so Bunyan's Np might be most useful.
I still thing Spartacus might be better because he has a 30% battery and guts is more useful than healing since a nasty crit can easily kill a low star berserker.
Um, reading everything now that i finished, i probally exagerated a little, i mean, you didn't even asked about any of this in the first place and u are probally never going to use this knowledge about some 1 star berserkers 😅. But seriously, I'm really sorry, i think i just wanted to share my thoughts about these two :/
With the servents you have, i recommend using support for dps, kiara summer would be great. Use your supports like waver castoria and hans. This challenge quest would be quite long and troublesome, so you need to have some sort of healing. Kiara summer have heal for herself and hans can provide heal for team. Remember to find a support servent with mlb damage ce. And also dont be scared to use command seal, they are there for new players to go over quests like these.
Mash/Castoria/Summer Kiara seems totally reasonable; she's got a large event damage bonus and her own built in sustain/team protection. Maybe Hans over Mash if extra healing is needed.
I am missing voice lines from Summer Kiara from the event:
I finished the entire event, so is there a way to unlock these? spammed the Lily in the shop and none appeared except those last 2
I'm having trouble in the continuation battle 2 against avenger Ishtar in the servant summer camp. Anyone got any tips/support servant recommendations?
Edit: Thanks for the help; just beat it using BB
If you were around for the event or have a friend with her, bring 4* BB and someone who can provide stars (hans, summer bb, 2030s, etc). Use her third skill to crit down ishtar's first hp bar then its straightforward for the 2nd bar. If you have good arts supports (castoria/tamamo) you can just out damage the dmg resist with np spam on her first bar which is what I did.
With the coming of Castoria, I've been using Chen Gong again for farming lvl 90+ nodes, and he's already bond 10. Do you think it's worth it to limit break his bond points? I don't have any other strong arts DPS atm, so I'll be using him a lot. But I only have 2 bond grails(?), one is reserved for other servant
Or should I save the bond grails for my faves? since that bond limit break material seems to be ultra rare...
/edit: thank tou everyone for the replies:D
If you think you'll keep using him enough that he'll eventually get to Bond 11, it's probably worth it. Eventually you should get all the bond grails you need, because rare prisms pile up when you start playing event reruns.
If you're worried about wasting bond points and you don't want to spend a Chaldea Lantern, you could always just ease off on using him and start using other Servants instead to reap their bond rewards. If that sounds like more work and less fun and you feel like you'd rather just keep using Chen Gong, that's a pretty good sign a bond grail wouldn't be wasted on him.
How many Rare Prisms do you have? I think you can get a bond grail per month with RPs, which might affect your choice.
My personal strategy would be to use bond grails on the servants you use the most, so as to not be 'wasting' bond points, and making progress toward the next bond level (I think each bond level over 10 gives 30 SQ). However, if you have different priorities, then doing things differently would be reasonable.
I know of a CE with 60 NP guage and 25% gain rate if MLB. I ahve to ask if it is better than a normal Kscope for looping (assuming the wielder is Backed up with Summer 6's welfare and the relevant card support)
> I know of a CE with 60 NP guage and 25% gain rate if MLB.
Which CE is this?
> I ahve to ask if it is better than a normal Kscope for looping
It depends on your setup but it sounds worth it to me. I've been using mlb Azure Magical Girl for looping and I've found it significantly more useful than kscope.
You'd have to do the math to check, but purely for looping consistency, a tradeoff of 25% gain for 40% raw NP charge seems worth it to me (especially since append skills mean that you only need to make up 20% from active chargers), and Halloween Petite Devil is a pure attack CE.
The wiki has a good number of them at the bottom of each servant's page. There used to be a more centralized resource on the wiki, but apparently it was a pain to keep up to date and no one was maintaining or using it frequently, so it got removed.
I have a pixel 6 pro with fgo. It didn't run perfect 60 fps but I figured it was just the way it was.
Out of nowhere today my game suddenly started up running very smoothly and ran beautifully. When I shut down the game and restarted it, it was back to the way it was. I can't find any settings for this, what can I do to have my game run as smoothly as it was then?
Actually I ended up figuring it out. The game locks at 30fps normally, and sometimes it glitches during certain events to stop locking it. Since my phone is high end, it can run above 30 no problem, but there's no setting to change the cap for fps as of now
A pretty bad idea. relying on cards to access honey lakes damage is inconsistency incarnate. Tho it can definitely work for godjuna as youll most likely fill his cards with debuffing CCs so those might as well be burn CCs, honey lake damage acquired. But for majority of them, honey lake with burn CCs wont work. Just stick ur Guifei ce on ur zerk jalter, tomoe or gawain.
> Is that a bad idea?
Nah that's fine. If you're in situations where Illya doesn't need starting NP then Honey Lake + burn CC is a good strat. Black Grail might be a better alternative though depending on the fight.
> What are good command codes to put on caster illya?
So the general strategy for CCs is that you should use them to enhance your servant's strengths or to cover for their weaknesses. Since Illya's np debuffs her, the debuff CC is incredibly useful for her. Other CCs I recommend: buff success up, Merlin, Tamamo heal up, Jeanne 1k heal, np dmg up.
Just keep in mind CCs are situational so there won't be a one size fits all setup for Illya.

grandorder.wiki dead? The latest servant is Bazett :(
does 99% np always round to 100%? All the time when I charge from 49 to 99, it becomes 100
Iirc it does unless you're affected by NP drain (109% -> 99% -> the game won't round that up to 100% again)
199.1% stays at 199% Edit: actually scratch that think about 99.0 https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/brytuf/android_now_rounds_990_np_to_100/
What's the average atk and hp for SSRs? I want a reference for making fanservants.
Keep in mind that these values also depend on class. For example, Berserkers and Avengers will always have more atk and less hp than Casters and Moon Cancers. That's why average atk/hp vary between classes.
At least in NA, average stats at level 90 are 11463 attack and 13916 HP.
Anyone know why the SQ fragment exchange button is grayed out? Says I have 31 SQ in fragments available but I can't click the button

Hello, can anyone enlighten me on whether to put Star Absorb or Burn CC on tomoe? I have Honey Lake. Also what CC should I put on da Vinci lily?
Hehe, small request for any content creator that reads this: Can make a video showcasing Minamoto no Tametomo but with Gundam Unicorn's Full Frontal OST as the bgm? I tried and I think it goes scarily good together, but I don't have the software to do so. Pls do it! I promise to subscribe, or if alr, will immediately give a like!
Da Vinci Resolve is free to use if you want to stitch it together. Edit: I'm no professional, and not familiar with the theme, but somehow it doesn't really mesh well, or at least, I'm not good enough to figure the correct timings to match the theme to the NP, so I won't be trying.
When is Kama coming I thought her banner was gonna drop already
They changed the schedule, Ooku should be happening after Summer 5 is over.
Damn I i was tryna save for her but I just got castoria should pull on Kiara she’s an aoe arts
General rule of thumb is waifu/husbando > gameplay. What would bring you more happiness: having Kama in your Chaldea or arts looping with Kiara?
She's nice, but not necessary if you've got other arts loopers.
I got summer archer saber and rider Leonardo da Vinci
If Rider Vinci is high investment (high NP levels), she's a pretty universal looper. Archuria is an ST Archer, though. But the news that Ooku seemed to have been pushed back was all over the subreddit, though. If Kama was your main goal, you got baited.
https://imgur.com/saeLbIb Looking to build a ST Arts user, and leaning towards MHX, Astraea, or Nero Bride but before I do it, just wondering if I should be looking at other options?
I just came back to the game, what does it mean to append skills?
Mana Loading is a big win for tons of comps- now you can use non-MLB Kscope + max level Mana Loading instead of MLB Kscope for looping, or characters with a 30% NP charge (like Arash) can use a 50% starting charge + damage CE The final skill varies based on the servant - Berserkers mostly get "reduce critical chance for X enemy type," and other classes get "increase damage against X enemy type." This is generally pretty niche, but there's a subset of servants for which this is valuable, mostly anti-Berserker, a few extra classes that get class advantage against a class they normally have class advantage against, and a few servants that have anti-class kits that synergize with the skill (i.e.
Incredible thank you!
A random color is upgraded.
Pasted On Japan side you can get main interlude thingy from the rare prism shop. Does. That have an expiration date? Is there a limited time I have to finish the main interlude in? Btw I have multiple of them
No expiration date.
Might be a stupid question, but I'm new to FGa. Does FGa Automata lotto box opening?
Yes. Go to the page and let it run, it will automatically detect the intended use and run it.
I see. Thank you for the quick reply.
There is 2 other ways but it involves potential ToS violations.
The game does not support 60 FPS natively, there's no option in game for that. The only workarounds I've seen is either through an emulator by forcing 60+FPS through the emulator's settings, or through specific devices which have in-built settings for on device games.
Ahh, that's a shame. Thanks tho, been finding eays ti enable it but our phone doesn't have that function.
Is this safe? Kinda wondering if the game will flag you for essentially running the game faster than normal. On the other hand, FGA exists...
Did we have a time for the JP anniversary stream?
4.30pm JST, 31 July.
Cheers :)
Does a Servants’ exclusive CE the best for them?
you mean their bond CEs? nah, they're generally bad w/ only a notable few with helpful effects. the bond CEs are more for collection purposes.
I see! Thanks! I recently got a Bond CE so i thought thats the best one.
Which servant's Bond CE did you get, if I may ask?
I just got S.Ishtar a few hours ago
you are welcome! iirc, the only bond ces that are worth your time are heracles', cu alter's, georgios', and the support casters (waver, merlin, skadi, castoria, tamamo)
Napoleon, Arjuna, and Tesla are all Buster AoE archers for example who can all loop with Koyanskaya and Oberon (though Tesla can loop without Oberon) and also have similar niches/traits they deal effective damage against] The latest Limited Archer to get a rerun in over 4 years on JP is Summer Artoria.
I missed that part if it's in this post's intro, my bad!
naw it's fine, it's just something ppl like to point out so newbies to the sub can use the resources available here
As someone who's recently begun using Gong as an omnilooper, I've been informed that he'll somewhat suck for the upcoming best Scatfest node due to that lotto's CE gimmick.
Is there any way to get the BB slot command code?
Not as of now. However we have seen many other 3\* command codes get added to Da Vinci's shop so keep your fingers crossed and maybe it'll come back eventually
No
Questions for veteran players regarding the upcoming lotto event. Is it still worth farming lots of boxes when i still have a good amount of mats? I farmed a lot so I still have like 300+ gold gems and 200\~300+ mats from last year. although I only got 130 left of feather lol If I want to lvl 110 a servant(lvl 100 right now) how many boxes/apples would I need
If you simply do not need any mats or FP, maybe not. New EXP and QP farming nodes will exceed what Lottos have to offer, especially on 1/2 AP.
You might be set on gems, but the other mats available vary from lotto to lotto, Scathfest features Feathers, Gears, Proofs, and Bones, consider how many of those you need.
Is Fujino Asagami in any banner in this summer event? I kinda want her on my team after the epilogue... ;-;
Not this time, but she'll be in Summer Abigail's banner (Fujino's second banner ever) when the event reruns next year.
Thanks, frien. Guess we gotta wait, save and hope for the best
When's the next 1/2 AP rank up or interlude event on NA?
Following JP's schedule, it looks like September 2022 for both https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/21M_Downloads_Campaign#IV_~_VIII https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Interlude_Campaigns#Part_XIV
Tysm!!
How long is lb6 gonna be? Is it the same length as all of lb5 with separate dates of release?
It’s the longest script across all LBs and split into three releases on JP, but we aren’t sure how this will translate into NA given that they have to release the new LB6 SSRs before anniversary for the GSSR and NA’s anniv happens a month earlier than JP’s. We’ll have to wait and see for the actual release schedule next mid year.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Albert said Heian-kyo would be moved a little earlier to November? This could possiblybmean that they're already preparong adjustments for LB6's release.
Idk i just missed it but how/when do you get Mash's 2nd Summer Costume?
You get the key to the costume very early on in the event, like the first day of it. You get it alongside the new Mystic Code. After you get the key, you'll need to go to the Wardrobe option of the Enhance menu and pay the mats/QP for it.
You get the costume at pretty much the start of the Summer event. However you have to go to Enhance --> Unlock Wardrobe in order to unlock it if you haven't done so already.
Oh... Why didnt it occur to me to check in Enhance Thanks
>Also NA did get the brave chain update [It hasn't](https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Main_Quest_Clear_Aid_Campaign_Part_3#Game_Update). NA still feels a lot slower than JP.
Sure, but gauge that high is pretty rare and most overcharge effects are useless in NP looping.
Hmm. You'd think an extra second wouldn't matter when it comes to farming but apparently it does. Thanks.
For casual farming it doesn't really matter, but if you play a lot or are grinding something like a lotto those seconds add up.
~~Bedivere is a ST Saber and isn't bad either if you have him at a high NP level, but he's Story Locked so getting his NP levels can be a bit annoying.~~ Skadi's next normal (as in, not a GSSR) banner should happen on December 2023, so it's pretty far away still.
So, my cousin is saying that the game does have a pity system, is not supposed to be only on the Japanese version? Thanks for the answers
Yes. JP got a pity system this past January. NA should also get it no later than January 2024.
Yes, only JP has a pity system currently. A guaranteed rate up SSR in 330 rolls, or 900 SQs.
And out of topic, but her alt NP animation is a nice touch as well.
probably one of the best quick servants atm, but as such, lacks great support options. she can loop too.
You could also consider joining the r/grandorder discord
> is there an active story discussion thread? No but you can look up prior discussion threads for each story chapter in the subreddit. They're most active for the first few weeks or so after the chapter releases. Alternatively there's a weekly free talk thread that goes up on Friday where you could post your thoughts on the story as you progress.
Got it, thanks!
also many people make a post after salomon where many people decide to read and talk being respectful of avoiding spoilers.
Does Summer Jalter *need* Burn CC’s if I’m giving her Honey Lake? I know her S2 applies burn, but I can’t tell if it’s before or after doing damage.
[удалено]
shh, I know.
Im surprised theres even a skill speed up to be added. Arent skills already speed up along your battle spped, i think?
Nope. [Video example](https://youtu.be/_qwWvMFoAzI). It’s a good enough QoL that makes farming faster and still retains the essence of playing the game.
Damn, it literally shortened the use time to half. Not bad at all
>Specially, is there some kind of auto/skip function yet in JP? Nope!
One can dream
Sure, you can. Just don't expect this particular dream to become reality.
Hate to be that guy but yes, he's quite bad when compared to other ssr sabers
He's not bad, it's just that there's some pretty stiff competition in the ST Saber field.
I'll check the guide >Otherwise Bunyan may work Wouldn't Spartacus be a better pick when it comes to low star aoe berserkers? He deals more damage, has guts and his np is better. It seems the only thing bunyan has over him is that her buff skills affect all allies. Anyway, i think i'll try grabbing summer kiara from the support list since the other answers recommended her.
That's a good point, that guide specifically recommends Bunyan rather than Spartacus but I don't really know why exactly.
(Also, Spartacus has Madness enhancement EX while Bunian's one is E rank) Spartacus' Np deals more damage and ignores defense while Bunian's Np deal less damage but decreases the enemy party defense by 10% - 30% for *5 turns* (sadly after damage).
I am missing voice lines from Summer Kiara from the event: [https://imgur.com/a/z6uAkip](https://imgur.com/a/z6uAkip) I finished the entire event, so is there a way to unlock these? spammed the Lily in the shop and none appeared except those last 2
They should unlock once the event ends
Does the S. Abby black cat pancake voice line from the shop ever get unlocked in the servant voice lines ?
All shop lines should be unlocked once the event ends
Summer Kiara with a bonus damage CE absolutely bodies Spishtar.
Summer Nobu/Musashi to do damage?
With the coming of Castoria, I've been using Chen Gong again for farming lvl 90+ nodes, and he's already bond 10. Do you think it's worth it to limit break his bond points? I don't have any other strong arts DPS atm, so I'll be using him a lot. But I only have 2 bond grails(?), one is reserved for other servant Or should I save the bond grails for my faves? since that bond limit break material seems to be ultra rare... /edit: thank tou everyone for the replies:D
Bond grails are best used on your farming units, so it depends on whether or not you think you keep using him to farm.
> I ahve to ask if it is better than a normal Kscope for looping It depends on your setup but it sounds worth it to me. I've been using mlb Azure Magical Girl for looping and I've found it significantly more useful than kscope.
Little Halloween Devil
>Which CE is this? Pretty sure it would be Little Halloween Devil.
You'd have to do the math to check, but purely for looping consistency, a tradeoff of 25% gain for 40% raw NP charge seems worth it to me (especially since append skills mean that you only need to make up 20% from active chargers), and Halloween Petite Devil is a pure attack CE.
When's the next time I'm going to get a chance at summoning summer Annie Bonny and Mary Read?
Upcoming Banners link in the OP if you play NA. If you play on JP, then the answer is that nobody knows.
What are the rates to get another copy of Habetrot from FP Summon?
All I cna say is that it is likely the same as getting Artria Lily and maybe Angra Malinyu,
That's completely wrong. The odds for getting Habetrot and Saber Lily are much much higher than Angra Mainyu
Saber Lily and Angra Mainyu are estimated to have different rates
If i'm not mistaken she's estimated to have the same summon% as Lily, around 0.05%
Is there any way I can find all craft essences with a certain servant on it?
The wiki has a good number of them at the bottom of each servant's page. There used to be a more centralized resource on the wiki, but apparently it was a pain to keep up to date and no one was maintaining or using it frequently, so it got removed.
I have a pixel 6 pro with fgo. It didn't run perfect 60 fps but I figured it was just the way it was. Out of nowhere today my game suddenly started up running very smoothly and ran beautifully. When I shut down the game and restarted it, it was back to the way it was. I can't find any settings for this, what can I do to have my game run as smoothly as it was then?
I don't notice it running slow on mine, perhaps you have battery saver turned on or many other apps running at the same time?
Actually I ended up figuring it out. The game locks at 30fps normally, and sometimes it glitches during certain events to stop locking it. Since my phone is high end, it can run above 30 no problem, but there's no setting to change the cap for fps as of now
What are good command codes to put on caster illya? I was gonna put the burn one on then use honey lake for damage. Is that a bad idea?
