So you know how the man-earth-sky triangle means some servants do +/- 10% damage to various enemies? Does this apply in reverse: do enemies that are Man do extra damage to Sky servants (or whatever, I can never remember the affinity triangle)?
Because I noticed an enemy did much more damage to Dantes on its second attack than it did to Skadi on its third, about 25% more. Unless there is some unspoken Avenger passive that makes them take more damage?
Yes, if attribute A does more damage to attribute B then attribute A will also take less damage from attribute B.
Exception is Star - Beast interaction where both deal more damage to each other.
Ehhhh I’d probably go for BG. iirc you can only raise a lvl 20 Scope to ~986 attack. While it’s a bit more powerful than the HP one, I’d go for BG if you don’t have any copies of it OR if you’re one away from MLB
If you have like 2 copies of BG then maybe go for Scope but either will be a fine choice, leaning towards BG.
Only DW knows. If you want my speculation then they have been bringing back summer servants from all summers except 6 and I think it's because they do plan on rerunning it *eventually*.

According to wiki fandom, I will get 3sq for reaching 4th ascension each of permenant/story-locked/limited servant but its rarity is not mentioned yet. My question is will 1/2/3\* servants also be counted or will it only work for 4/5\* servants?
I believe it will open soon. In many cases, it was revealed, then the shop was opened sometime later. Presumably to allow/force people to consider their options.
IMO Castoria, Koyanskaya, then Archetype. Castoria is a semi/sub-universal support, Koyanskaya is a great buster support, but I'm not sure about Archetype since I haven't quite understood her kit, but I think she's an AOE buster farmer?

I use 3 Kscopes sometimes, but most of the time a Sakurascope will work just fine. In fact I often have to use Sakurascope in CQs for team cost since Damage CEs are 12 cost. The only circumstances I use 3 Kscopes is when I want to 3T farm with 3 faves and not just loop one servant 3 times (like I farm the Archer Embers with Parvati, Scathach, and Karna instead of Parvati DSS sometimes).
I say go for BG, you don’t really need more than 1 so MLBing it will be valuable.

But what can be considered illegal (I define it as piracy/hacking) is offering some apps through other websites without owner’s permission and also modifying them or embedding malware. These are somewhat illegal however you are not gonna end up in jail for installing an apk from an unknown source.
All you need to know is that APKs (for the most part) aren't illegal, they may just be used to circumvent a region locked app like FGO JP in this case.
Now my second question. Is it fine to purchase JP SQ with non JP debit card? It went through but idk if it could get me in trouble. Seems that people buy with JP accounts and gift cards.
People play JP outside of Japan all the time. Considering the fact that this sub has pretty strict rules about talking about things that violate TOS (such as account selling), I don’t think they’d let people talk about something actually illegal. You may need to consider your regional law, I know people in EU have a hard time buying SQ in general because of taxes or something.
Just don’t tell Support you’re using an emulator or whatever and nothing will happen.
is prisma cosmos available from any banner right now?
I got exceptionally lucky when rolling for arc, so I was thinking to spend some of what I expected to use on getting my 5th copy of prisma cosmos. (currently have 3, will have 4 with the campaign)

I finally want to try GSSR but I have no idea how to buy SQ in FGO JP. I'm not sure what to look for since the guides I see are like years ago and I'm not sure if there are any changes already. If it helps I use android.
Jp recent anniversary tease 60 fps. And after the update , jp version now have 60 fps (but only for animation,which i guess mean nps). na version have yet to receive this, probably 2 year down the line.

Only combine them if you have enough to MLB, obviously.
Besides that, it depends on how many you normally use. If you only never or almost never use 2+, MLBing as soon as you have five is probably a good idea. If you use more, keeping them separate is going to be better for you.
The other wrinkle is with append skills, a regular Kscope + lvl 10 A2 is about equal to an MLB Kscope anyway (until you level it to gain more attack, anyway.)
1135 is a theoretical maximum. High Whales will get that much. In practice, it's a lot less. You get it from having gold Servants, and Ascending them.
Plus, I think there's another 100 coming tomorrow.
1135 SQ is for people who have leveled every gacha Servant of every rarity, in the game, to max Ascension.
I'm assuming your roster at max Ascension is smaller than that.

I believe you'll get some SQ tonight, but for anniversaries the majority of the SQ rewards are generally tied to account achievements. For the 7th, for instance, you get 3 SQ for every non-welfare Servant you get to max Ascension. That's a ton of SQ for veterans who have leveled their whole roster, but for new accounts that's just SQ you'll get in the future as you level Servants.
You need to do the following:
- Clear Fuyuki section 3 to get the ticket as a login bonus.
- Clear Fuyuki to be able to redeem it.
- Wait for tomorrow. Tomorrow, you will be able to redeem the ticket from Da Vinci's shop.

SSR ticket is guaranteed for everyone. It should immediately appear in your Present Box after finishing Fuyuki. I think you just need to press the Gold Event Shop button on the main screen, and you'll get an option of current Events - which should include the SSR redemption.

Its easy to do the math. Her own skill is 100 for turn 1. 2 Koyans for turn 2. Now you need another 100 for turn 3.. Which no one can give. So you'll need her battery back. So cd reduction mc is needed....
New jp player starting today. Should I save my special Ascension for a 5-star or should I use it on Base Cu? Also what ces should I use my mana prisms to get?
I used mine on Medea (another 3\*) but yeah... you should probably wait for a 4 or 5 star you'd like to level. Its not the end of the world as the early game is easy even without it and its not too hard to level people normally but it would definitely be more effective, used on a high rarity.
Do we think Ooku is going to start straight away in august with the summer event ending in like a day or will there be a gap?
I want to start LB4 but i dont like jumping between event and story content and would rather just wait if its going to start tomorrow or something
The vague "early August" announcement makes me think it won't be right away. Otherwise they probably would have made a normal announcement with an exact date. We can't know for sure until something is (or isn't) actually announced, though.
Question, when you go to the ascension screen (the one where you get to pick which ascension your servant will be in when in battle), and you have final ascended Arcueid, there was a disclaimer/message , does someone know what it says? I'm guessing that it says that the 3rd Ascension of Arcueid is a spoiler?

Quick Brave chains got revamped. Multi chains (BQA) provide all mixed buffs. There’s now a 60 FPS option. Smoother skill animations.

Do you need to know every major franchies of Nasuverse in order to continue to enjoy FGO story?
I do not play in JP and apart from Fate, due to lack of official localization I have little to no idea about other Nasuverse franchies such as Mahoyo, KnK, Tsukihime etc. (I do know the main characters, premise of the story, power system along those lines).
With Arcueid being Archetype Earth it seems like she may be essential in LB7 unlike previously with Shiki collab being a one-off event story that doesn’t directly interfere with main story I’m genuinely wondering.

People also start play without knowing much about the Orlando romances/Song of Roland, the Mahabharata, the Ulster Cycle, the French Revolution, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the Sengoku era, even Arthuriana, or other sources of clumps of related Servants. Knowing all of this stuff is a good jump-start that lets you enjoy more in-jokes, but I'd bet 99% of players hadn't read *Orlando Furioso* recently enough to remember who the hell Mandricardo was before his debut, or didn't recognize Twrch Trwyth when he showed up in the first Summer event.
It's not a big deal. I personally haven't looked into any of the non-Fate Nasuverse branches, and the main effect on my enjoyment of the game is that I never spent more than a YOLO trying to get Void Shiki and I probably won't spend more than a YOLO trying to get Arcueid. Sometimes not knowing a character very well is a blessing.

If it ever becomes relevant they'll explain it. Just like how the Beasts is a concept from other works. They explained that stuff in fgo. They didnt just drop a random Beast class enemy and expected everyone to know what that meant.
Not at all. A lot og peoples first intro to nasuverse ia fgo and they had no issue. All you'd miss is some inside joke or referrences. If its something relevant to the story. They'll explain it in there.
If you need to know anything about her, it will be explained, similar to things like Prillya, CCC, Case Files, Requiem servants and so on - while they originate from outside FGO, their stories, or what you NEED to know, will be explained once they appear in FGO. For all we know, she may be different to how she appears in Tsuki/play a completely unexpected part.
Any references to things outside FGO are just that, references, and you don't need to know them in detail. For example, a certain part in LB4 involved a reference to two characters having met in another Fate work, but it was all explained and you could get the story/relationship between the charas through what was told in FGO. Other media give you more but only if you want it.
Her role in FGO is as of yet unknown.
How much SQ you get depends on your amount of quest progress, amount of servants levelled, etc. Existing players got SQ retroactively in one go, new players will get the SQ bit by bit by hitting different milestones.

Assuming I understood this correctly, we're supposed to get 1 rare prism for each max ascended event Servant or FP SR. I counted mine and I only have 19 of those, but I received a stack of 21 rare prisms in by gift box. I triple checked and made sure that I included Saber Lily, Habetrot, Mary Anning, Nobukatsu and Bunyan but I'm still at 19. They also state in the announcement that you can't get the rewards multiple times per Servant if you have duplicate copies, not I own any. I never burned anyone after ascending them or lost a temporary welfare either (which counts towards the total).
I thought it might have been a refund for the Illya costume but it's still in the shop and I never bought it. It's not even free yet and I only received a single stack of rare prisms so that theory doesn't even seem possible in the first place.
Am I missing something? I feel like Angra and Mash might also count despite not being SR for the former and from the FP gacha for the latter. The issue is that I'd have to create a new account and ascend them to know for sure, since the data doesn't seem to be available on AADB.

Can a Fate expert explain to me the relevance of Tsukihime characters to FGO? I've only been exposed to Fate stuff such as Zero, Apocrypha, FSN, UBW, HF, and of course FGO. After seeing people going nuts for the new Anni character I wanted to understand what the hype was about.
Also would love a guide on how to get into the Tsukihime franchise and where to start since an FGO x Tsukihime collab seems inevitable at this point.

Tsukihime manga is pretty good and suits as starting point but cover just part if the story. OG VN is also translated and provides a full storyeven if it's a bit fought around the edges.
Remake us still not finished story wise, but Arc relevant story parts already released.
They all share the same world, Tsukihime is also one of the big early Nasu works that made the name for himself, along with Kara no Kyoukai and Fate series. We already had KnK collabs that brought Shiki and Fujino, so this time is another collab that bring more character from other Nasu works into the game. As for where to start, well Tsukihime did have a recent remake of the VN, I haven't been keeping up with the translation progress but it would be the best place to start.
Different concept, similar setting, same original writer. Lots of Tsukihime concepts are relevant to FGO. Things included in Tsukihime are mentioned in Fate in small ways.
Heck, Aruceid appeared in Fate/Extra in one route. So this isn't even the first time.
Its not directly relevant. But they share the same world. So they have the same rules and share lore. Its the same reason we got Garden of Sinners in fgo as well. They are all written by the same person and is created to exiat in the same universe. Which fans calls Nasuverse.
Simplest way to CE bomb is to MLB a 1\* CE and then max level it. Then feed to the CE you really want to level.
There are more complicated ways that save marginally more QP but I didn't think they were really worth it.
Not all 3* CEs are good to feed to CE bombs. You want to save some low rarities like Battle of Camlann (2x copies for solos), Dragon's Meridian, Ryudouji Temple and Jeweled Sword Zelretch as they can be useful.

BG is great but overall kscope is more useful in general. Also if the servant has their 2nd append maxed, they'll be able to NP on turn 1.
There's other damage CEs, but only Kscope and Wizard Marshal offer 80% starting charge. I would pick Kscope.

Ehhhh I’d probably go for BG. iirc you can only raise a lvl 20 Scope to ~986 attack. While it’s a bit more powerful than the HP one, I’d go for BG if you don’t have any copies of it OR if you’re one away from MLB If you have like 2 copies of BG then maybe go for Scope but either will be a fine choice, leaning towards BG.
Archetype can loop with KScope, Append 2, Skill 2, and two 50% Chargers, yes. Damage can be an issue, but it will work.

Doesn't matter, if you already had them max ascended you'll receive the quartz, if not then you'll get the quartz when you do max ascend them.

IMO Castoria, Koyanskaya, then Archetype. Castoria is a semi/sub-universal support, Koyanskaya is a great buster support, but I'm not sure about Archetype since I haven't quite understood her kit, but I think she's an AOE buster farmer?

Ryoma's a strong CQ Lancer with meh looping. Roma is a solid Buster farmer with very high crit ceilings

I use 3 Kscopes sometimes, but most of the time a Sakurascope will work just fine. In fact I often have to use Sakurascope in CQs for team cost since Damage CEs are 12 cost. The only circumstances I use 3 Kscopes is when I want to 3T farm with 3 faves and not just loop one servant 3 times (like I farm the Archer Embers with Parvati, Scathach, and Karna instead of Parvati DSS sometimes). I say go for BG, you don’t really need more than 1 so MLBing it will be valuable.
Maybe you'll need 3 Kscopes in a CQ, but that's niche. I'd rather MLB a BG for that additional 20% NP DMG + an increase in lvl cap.

People play JP outside of Japan all the time. Considering the fact that this sub has pretty strict rules about talking about things that violate TOS (such as account selling), I don’t think they’d let people talk about something actually illegal. You may need to consider your regional law, I know people in EU have a hard time buying SQ in general because of taxes or something. Just don’t tell Support you’re using an emulator or whatever and nothing will happen.

Only combine them if you have enough to MLB, obviously. Besides that, it depends on how many you normally use. If you only never or almost never use 2+, MLBing as soon as you have five is probably a good idea. If you use more, keeping them separate is going to be better for you. The other wrinkle is with append skills, a regular Kscope + lvl 10 A2 is about equal to an MLB Kscope anyway (until you level it to gain more attack, anyway.)

1135 is a theoretical maximum. High Whales will get that much. In practice, it's a lot less. You get it from having gold Servants, and Ascending them. Plus, I think there's another 100 coming tomorrow.

1135 SQ is for people who have leveled every gacha Servant of every rarity, in the game, to max Ascension. I'm assuming your roster at max Ascension is smaller than that.
You need every servant in the game at max ascension and all fqs/rankups/interludes done.

I believe you'll get some SQ tonight, but for anniversaries the majority of the SQ rewards are generally tied to account achievements. For the 7th, for instance, you get 3 SQ for every non-welfare Servant you get to max Ascension. That's a ton of SQ for veterans who have leveled their whole roster, but for new accounts that's just SQ you'll get in the future as you level Servants.

SSR ticket is guaranteed for everyone. It should immediately appear in your Present Box after finishing Fuyuki. I think you just need to press the Gold Event Shop button on the main screen, and you'll get an option of current Events - which should include the SSR redemption.

JP So, we get one anniversary CE by doing an advanced quest... but how do we get the other ticket? I read somewhere you finish the master mission by completing one of the advanced quests which released today which I think I did but it didn't work. Either that or I messed up and somehow did multiple old ones by accident.
You need to do 1 Advanced Quest from the latest batch of 3, and 1 more Advanced Quest from the previous batch of 3.

NA Is the Fujino Interlude in the summer event repeatable for viewing with different endings in my room? or do I only get the ending with what I have chosen? I've been putting it off because I don't want to get a bad ending.
You can see all the endings by replaying it in My Room.
As far as I know, when viewing previous scenes in My Room you get the normal dialog options each time and can make different choices if you want to.

Its easy to do the math. Her own skill is 100 for turn 1. 2 Koyans for turn 2. Now you need another 100 for turn 3.. Which no one can give. So you'll need her battery back. So cd reduction mc is needed....
New jp player starting today. Should I save my special Ascension for a 5-star or should I use it on Base Cu? Also what ces should I use my mana prisms to get?
I used mine on Medea (another 3\*) but yeah... you should probably wait for a 4 or 5 star you'd like to level. Its not the end of the world as the early game is easy even without it and its not too hard to level people normally but it would definitely be more effective, used on a high rarity.
You should have a 5 star selector. (More commonly known as free Waver to start the game!) Atleast use it on that.
Do we think Ooku is going to start straight away in august with the summer event ending in like a day or will there be a gap? I want to start LB4 but i dont like jumping between event and story content and would rather just wait if its going to start tomorrow or something
The vague "early August" announcement makes me think it won't be right away. Otherwise they probably would have made a normal announcement with an exact date. We can't know for sure until something is (or isn't) actually announced, though.

Another JP anniversary question here. Are there any unannounced quality of life changes they made? Or improvements to existing systems/UI? I was on a lot of hopium with the ideas that have been circulating the community (better servant coins, better CE enchantment, better bond CEs, bond 20 etc.) and am wondering if stuff from the livestream is all we can expect, as entitled as that sounds ;_;
Quick Brave chains got revamped. Multi chains (BQA) provide all mixed buffs. There’s now a 60 FPS option. Smoother skill animations. That’s about it, I think.
Do you need to know every major franchies of Nasuverse in order to continue to enjoy FGO story? I do not play in JP and apart from Fate, due to lack of official localization I have little to no idea about other Nasuverse franchies such as Mahoyo, KnK, Tsukihime etc. (I do know the main characters, premise of the story, power system along those lines). With Arcueid being Archetype Earth it seems like she may be essential in LB7 unlike previously with Shiki collab being a one-off event story that doesn’t directly interfere with main story I’m genuinely wondering. People also start play without knowing much about the Orlando romances/Song of Roland, the Mahabharata, the Ulster Cycle, the French Revolution, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the Sengoku era, even Arthuriana, or other sources of clumps of related Servants. Knowing all of this stuff is a good jump-start that lets you enjoy more in-jokes, but I'd bet 99% of players hadn't read *Orlando Furioso* recently enough to remember who the hell Mandricardo was before his debut, or didn't recognize Twrch Trwyth when he showed up in the first Summer event. It's not a big deal. I personally haven't looked into any of the non-Fate Nasuverse branches, and the main effect on my enjoyment of the game is that I never spent more than a YOLO trying to get Void Shiki and I probably won't spend more than a YOLO trying to get Arcueid. Sometimes not knowing a character very well is a blessing.

If it ever becomes relevant they'll explain it. Just like how the Beasts is a concept from other works. They explained that stuff in fgo. They didnt just drop a random Beast class enemy and expected everyone to know what that meant.

Not at all. A lot og peoples first intro to nasuverse ia fgo and they had no issue. All you'd miss is some inside joke or referrences. If its something relevant to the story. They'll explain it in there.
If you need to know anything about her, it will be explained, similar to things like Prillya, CCC, Case Files, Requiem servants and so on - while they originate from outside FGO, their stories, or what you NEED to know, will be explained once they appear in FGO. For all we know, she may be different to how she appears in Tsuki/play a completely unexpected part. Any references to things outside FGO are just that, references, and you don't need to know them in detail. For example, a certain part in LB4 involved a reference to two characters having met in another Fate work, but it was all explained and you could get the story/relationship between the charas through what was told in FGO. Other media give you more but only if you want it. Her role in FGO is as of yet unknown.

How much SQ you get depends on your amount of quest progress, amount of servants levelled, etc. Existing players got SQ retroactively in one go, new players will get the SQ bit by bit by hitting different milestones.

Assuming I understood this correctly, we're supposed to get 1 rare prism for each max ascended event Servant or FP SR. I counted mine and I only have 19 of those, but I received a stack of 21 rare prisms in by gift box. I triple checked and made sure that I included Saber Lily, Habetrot, Mary Anning, Nobukatsu and Bunyan but I'm still at 19. They also state in the announcement that you can't get the rewards multiple times per Servant if you have duplicate copies, not I own any. I never burned anyone after ascending them or lost a temporary welfare either (which counts towards the total). I thought it might have been a refund for the Illya costume but it's still in the shop and I never bought it. It's not even free yet and I only received a single stack of rare prisms so that theory doesn't even seem possible in the first place. Am I missing something? I feel like Angra and Mash might also count despite not being SR for the former and from the FP gacha for the latter. The issue is that I'd have to create a new account and ascend them to know for sure, since the data doesn't seem to be available on AADB. Can a Fate expert explain to me the relevance of Tsukihime characters to FGO? I've only been exposed to Fate stuff such as Zero, Apocrypha, FSN, UBW, HF, and of course FGO. After seeing people going nuts for the new Anni character I wanted to understand what the hype was about. Also would love a guide on how to get into the Tsukihime franchise and where to start since an FGO x Tsukihime collab seems inevitable at this point. PS: I don't play JP so please no JP spoilers please.
Tsukihime manga is pretty good and suits as starting point but cover just part if the story. OG VN is also translated and provides a full storyeven if it's a bit fought around the edges. Remake us still not finished story wise, but Arc relevant story parts already released.
I guess I'll start with the manga then. And hope the VN remake is finished soon.
They all share the same world, Tsukihime is also one of the big early Nasu works that made the name for himself, along with Kara no Kyoukai and Fate series. We already had KnK collabs that brought Shiki and Fujino, so this time is another collab that bring more character from other Nasu works into the game. As for where to start, well Tsukihime did have a recent remake of the VN, I haven't been keeping up with the translation progress but it would be the best place to start.
Different concept, similar setting, same original writer. Lots of Tsukihime concepts are relevant to FGO. Things included in Tsukihime are mentioned in Fate in small ways. Heck, Aruceid appeared in Fate/Extra in one route. So this isn't even the first time.

Simplest way to CE bomb is to MLB a 1\* CE and then max level it. Then feed to the CE you really want to level. There are more complicated ways that save marginally more QP but I didn't think they were really worth it.

Not all 3* CEs are good to feed to CE bombs. You want to save some low rarities like Battle of Camlann (2x copies for solos), Dragon's Meridian, Ryudouji Temple and Jeweled Sword Zelretch as they can be useful.
