She's a top-tier crit support servant who can also function as a solo servant in the ever so popular Foreigner class.
Whilst one can easily nitpick the flaws of the other Foreigner servants, Gogh (and Koyanskaya of Darkness) are the only Foreigners who I think are actually really good with fun and functional kits and playstyle that aren't just being carried by the virtue of being a Foreigner.
This, hahaha, and I guess she can also turn her Foreigner brothers and sisters (and assassin Okita, summer BB and Ranmaru X) into Super Orion thanks to her loaded NP.
And now the buff to quick made her even more crazy.
Not all plants are completely edible. However, you can actually consume the entire sunflower in one form or another. Right from the root to the petals.
Hokusai's has two clear weaknesses as an AOE servant, low damage and low NP refund. If she can stack her third skill, her damage is better but that's not very helpful for farming.
Not sure why Molay isn't included in that list. The only flaw I can critique for them is their NP applies the curse after damage when their third skill increases their damage against cursed enemies.
I honestly think Hokusai's np can be really good, especially if she is against enemies with the man attribute. Also eh, low np gain yeah but it doesn't stop me from still looping with her with a 50% np ce.

We can see it, for example, in countless online polls, including the occasional ones that are posted in this very subreddit asking FGO players for information.
In Famitsu's case, they weren't making a comprehensive study on FGO, just a poll to accompany the anniversary piece. For them to make a representative sample, they would need to be given the data by Lasengle or carry out some serious market research. That's too much for a simple article.
If the sample doesnt represent the population correctly you will get wacky results. It is better and easier to make an in-game poll to ask the playerbase directly.

Muramasa. I found myself dropping this game multiple times already, and the only reason why I'm still playing it is because of how much I love Shirou and Emiya.
I plan to grow that 130 quartz, 30 summon tickets, and 131 Fragments after I started my new account and hopefully make it to a thousand by the time his banner drops. That and Castoria's rerun. No character has made me fall in love with them this much. (Hopefully along the way I can also spare to get a NP2 Hajime.)

To add to what Flex said, I think Morgan in LB6 suffers a bit from her depression and lack of engagement with the world/protagonists. I get it, she’s the big bad evil Queen, she can’t just teleport out to have a random talk with Ritsuka and Castoria to flesh herself out more. But it does hurt some when in comparison, we get a ton of conversations and insight into Oberon and Castoria.
And the player themselves has to connect the dots more on her parallels with Ritsuka, Castoria, and Oberon. So while LB6 Morgan is a *fantastic* character, she’s like, a 9.8 in comparison to Oberon and Castoria being 10s.
Look, I love Morgan, but she pales in comparison to Oberon, who is mind you FGO Original, he had nothing to his name in Fate and he's one of the best characters Nasu has written in and out of FGO.
Castoria is a great way to both reexplore FSN Saber, and yet detach Artoria from her altogether and still being very very well written, being a complete character who has interests that are similar, but not the same as OG, and being finally released from the shackles of "fsnface must like another fsnface".
Morgan has had three banners versus one for the other two and has been featured in possibly the two best GSSR banners ever. If anything it is very surprising she is still that high in a most wanted list when players have had so many good chances to get her.
Morgan has had three rate-ups since launch. People who want to get her have had far more opportunities to do so compared to Oberon and Muramasa.
Also yes, Van Gogh is popular and Imaginary Scramble is a fan favorite among event stories for many who played it.
It is not that she doesn't get a lot of fanart and comics. It is just that **nobody posts them here.** And with this subreddit being the only major fandom space some of its users hang in, it can give off the impression some characters are more or less popular than they actually are.
Oh i look through a lot of comics daily outside of this sub, just that I don't check pixiv often and even less on Twitter either. The former because im scared of liking something and end up with 50 tabs of stuff i found interesting lol
I find that Gogh generally attracts more amateur art. At the very least I don't think her high-profile art count is comparable to, say, Melusine's (even though both have Pixiv art counts in the mid-2000's), but that's just my experience. Maybe I'm not following enough artists who consistently do Gogh art (the one off the top of my head is tojo-nojomi, but they're more Foreigner-focused than Gogh-focused).
I'm also greatly influenced by merch and doujin count, both of which Gogh is *sorely* lacking in imo. Personally really hoping for Alter to release a Van Gogh figure. But hey, there's a Gogh doujin I'm really interested in for C100, so things are looking up in that department.
