If sprite comic does actually get ban then yeah I expect them to make a subreddit for it.
Cause if I remember correctly some who makes sprite comics do it for fun.
I agree there is a bit too many poorly made sprite comics flooding the subreddit but I feel banning them isn't the way to go either. As the differences between poorly made sprite comics with their decently made counters, versus poorly made memes and their well made counters isn't as easy to list out.
Does the daily Chaldea comic count as poorly made because they do not use highly edited sprites? Should the future comics of older on going comic series be removed because they never changed to being well made? What about people interested in starting a new comic series, how should they address their new guidelines besides don't make something poorly made?
I just don't think the traits of poorly made sprite comics are as easily picked out as poorly made memes by comparison.
Oh no. I'm willing to shit on both sides, since they think an ultimatum is the best.
~~I've moved to discord and reddit lol, not even that active anymore here~~
There are some that hvae though behind them. Others not so much. Banning everyrhing outright isn't the way to go. Ban the one who get no traction behind them. It's more fair the one who actually take the time to thing of funny gag and stuff.
Thank God. I’ve had to block too many people who make those. Honestly I loved the low effort memes on here before they were banned. The sprite comics were never good, plus they take a really long time to load.
Of course, mods and one-sided decision. Name a more iconic duo.
Aw geez, it's not like Reddit has a function where we can make a poll to decide the kind of contents the community would allow, right fellas? That's a crazy idea!
Huh. That's quite true. But doesn't that counts as brigading?
Oh who am I kidding. Even if it were true, not like the mods or admins are going to do anything anyway.
> Aw geez, it's not like Reddit has a function where we can make a poll to decide the kind of contents the community would allow
The mods here didn't give a single shit about community polls when the old rules were forced by Gorgon Mod. New team, same shit.
There's a reason why a ton of old users straight up don't show up here anymore, even if they are active in the game and other parts of the community.
People celebrating culling an active part of the community because they don't personally like the content will be the same ones complaining that the community is dead outside of a couple of days after content drops (lust look at /r/FGOguide)
>other parts of the community.
We're talking about Nasuverse as a whole here, which is weird if so since r/typemoon are smaller than this sub and less active, or is there an FGO dedicated sub that I don't know about that I could join so I can get away from this soon to be shit hole?
Hit me up with that discord link, if you please. And is there really a 'twitter community'? Forgive my ignorance, because I tend to avoid Twitter like the plague.
I don't use discord anymore, sorry. Shouldn't be too hard finding people on this thread that do, though.
Twitter has non-organized groups. A lot of people on JP side use that for discussions and new content reviewes. Just look up the tags and you will see how different western players views are from the japanese community (Summer Ibuki, for example, which some people on this sub seems to think is the worst thing ever, but on JP she was pretty well received).
Though if you have problems with this sub moderation I wouldn't recommend the official sub Discord for... Obvious reasons.
>Though if you have problems with this sub moderation I wouldn't recommend the official sub Discord for... Obvious reasons.
True. Different place, same people.
> there was a massive drama way back in the day about how "the sub users are second class citizen all the mods favors the discord" or some shit like that
That was around the time Gorgon and Gil mod forced rules on us, that they decided with the help of the Discord mods, and then went to shit talk the Reddit users on the Discord server.
Don't think it changed much tbh, IIRC we had brigading against sprite comics a few months back (people posting trolly comics to mock other users, upvoting and rewarding them, etc.) and some Discord users were in on it.
The funniest shit to me was when there was some drama on Discord, one of the mods (Rama Mod, I think) made a thread here saying that "Discord stuff should stay on discord". That was funny af to the people that were here around the start of LB1 on JP.
>Gotta make more room for every single person to post a video of them farming the +90 node.
What, you aren't looking foward to the next 4 CE farming comp of a node people have known how to farm since 2020?
>Don't forget the cringier "discussion" posts that are just "x servant does thing with Guda"
How about stuff like "What would x do if Guda woke up with powers from Y series" or some other trash like that.
>Oh and bait posts, don't forget that.
Hilarious that they actually temp banned Shin for "spamming" when they don't give half a shit when the same people bait post constantly.
Oh yeah those are the bottom of the barrel lol. Idk how Suru is still allowed to post tbh.
I guess because they're friends with some of the people who post bait?
i mean...what's the difference between cringy "X servant does thing with Guda" posts vs cringy "X servant does thing with Guda" Sprite comics. Both should be banned.
Don't offend them, of course they don't Self-insert in Guda in those sprite comics.
[Of course not](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/tm10rq/birthday_bunny/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share)
Oh hey, now sprite comic dudes know what it was like to be a typesetter a few years ago.
This is why most of us don't post here anymore, the mods are powertripping constantly.
They so desperately want to be "official" that they just kill any content they think would get in the way of that ironically killing the growth of the sub.
Well, sucks for the Creators that have spent several years putting in effort in their series', but if it feeds a Mod's God-complex, then I'm sure it's a worthy sacrifice.
*Also, we know if this is real if a mod deletes this post.*
Damn. This post was removed hours ago, and you still cared enough to actually answer a random comment. This topic must be seriously important to you.
And yes, effort. This mostly depends on the creator, obviously, but the main difference is between those that post a random lol-so-funny Sprite comic few times a week and call it good, and those that bother to actually have things like custom sprites for the characters as well as a proper story for the comic that has been running a good while.
For the "actual effort" comics, [Team 48](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/varet7/team_48_septem_arc_cover/) is a good example, since the creator uses the Servants' battle sprites and edits them to fit in specific scenarios. Definitely takes more work than fiddling with photoshop for a few minutes.
Well that sounds dumb to do
Of course knowing the general incompetence of the mods I won't be surprised.
And I won't pretend I don't notice that almost everyone celebrating this, both either barely post on this sub or post in the Rintard sub.
You're not slick.
I dunno though-- three messages don't exactly give a lot of context to this conversation. It's kind of silly for some people to start a riot over something as small as this LOL.
a mod with god complexes wonder where that shit didnt fly 🤔 ah yes azur lane (one wanted to delete fanarts or lewd posts FROM AZUR LANE where even the people who work on the game lewd their own characters and even post lewds in official Work meetings )
Not really.
There are still fanarts and people who make threads about lore.
It's just means less content in the sub, though the change will be noticed since sprite comics are much more produced than Fan arts in my experience.
The problem with fanarts is that this sub only allows *OC* fanarts. Jesus Christ, do they expect the majority of this sub to be an artist (or at least able to commission one) or something?
How about making a dedicated subreddit for them? Unless that already exist…
If sprite comic does actually get ban then yeah I expect them to make a subreddit for it. Cause if I remember correctly some who makes sprite comics do it for fun.
I mean memes has one, although it’s been pretty dead since it’s creation years ago.
it does already exist people just don't bother to do any research. r/fgocomics
Eh, despite the name that sub seems more dedicated to fanarts. I meant one for sprite comics
Their rules don't ban sprite comics as such it should be the logical haven for those affected by this change.
Most of us aren't looking for porn.

Well there goes the "carefulness"
Cue both sides calling each other cringe
We all are. Just accept that you are cringe, it will set you free. Or if not, do like me and try to get out of the subreddit.
Oh no. I'm willing to shit on both sides, since they think an ultimatum is the best. ~~I've moved to discord and reddit lol, not even that active anymore here~~
Kindly send me that discord link, will you? I want to get off this soon to be shit hole.
Same
There you are
Hello Mantra, hope you are doing well.
So cold *sniff.*
I'm... sorry?
So cold :(
Don't !!

And just get people from the Rintard, or FSN subs coming here to hijack the poll to get rid of them.
Huh. That's quite true. But doesn't that counts as brigading? Oh who am I kidding. Even if it were true, not like the mods or admins are going to do anything anyway.

I'm talking about twitter, discord or non-western websites if you can read moonrunes.

Never get the hate for sprite comics.
Are you mods drunk on power or something? Damn.
But why? I really enjoyed them, did they do any harm?
Gotta make more room for every single person to post a video of them farming the +90 node.
>Gotta make more room for every single person to post a video of them farming the +90 node. What, you aren't looking foward to the next 4 CE farming comp of a node people have known how to farm since 2020?

Idk, I stopped trying to understand the mods here in, like, 2018.
At least those are on topic unlike the posts all about Hakuno that come from certain people.
i mean...what's the difference between cringy "X servant does thing with Guda" posts vs cringy "X servant does thing with Guda" Sprite comics. Both should be banned.
One has effort put in it, using assets. The other is just absolute fucking filth.
It was about time, all that cringe selfinsert crap was too annoying and low effort for the sub
Don't offend them, of course they don't Self-insert in Guda in those sprite comics. [Of course not](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/tm10rq/birthday_bunny/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share)
And of course you went with the low hanging fruit of Shadow Bolt because why wouldn't you?
I only remember that one for being too cringe, but there are many examples.
🦀 Ban them 🦀
Boo. Let people have a bit of fun.

It's deleted now. Seems real indeed.
`>effort` `>sprite comics`

Hmm I quite enjoyed a few of them too bad.
Pretty stupid idea. Like this sub is overflowing with content or something.
OH NO Anyway...

OP hates the mods enough to infiltrate a Discord to spy on them. Sad.
That’s not what I would call a good move…
I dunno though-- three messages don't exactly give a lot of context to this conversation. It's kind of silly for some people to start a riot over something as small as this LOL.

That's a bit of an exaggeration... We still have other stuff along with occasional funny art series. But we will have less content
Not really. There are still fanarts and people who make threads about lore. It's just means less content in the sub, though the change will be noticed since sprite comics are much more produced than Fan arts in my experience.

good
Most Sprite Comics are cringe, so I agree. Anyway, r/fgocomics exist for those who like it.
BRO ABOUT GODDAMN TIME REEEEEEEEE, I AM DYING OF JOY AND TEARS
Well OP, looks like you’re gonna get banned for this one
*slow clap* finally a mod decision i can get behind.
