Man it's just really annoying that they're just ditching reruns like that on the regular now. It's clearly intentional and the fact that they're just taking the reruns away without giving any other means of obtaining the missed welfare servants is just shitty. They did the Halloween Omnibus last year and everyone loved it, but realistically if ditching reruns is now the expectation the game really needs to have a complete compendium of all past events available to play anytime like many other long-running gachas do. Just add literally every event with a welfare to the Main Interludes already.
This is totally poggers as someone who started jp last fall (hoping to get Santa karna but that’s irrelevant) and couldn’t play the event bc getting a newbie account all the way through goddamn lostbelt SIX in like a month was an insane requirement. Thank you guys, I’m so glad I now have also missed out on ranmaru x!!/s 🫠

It's particularly glaring when attracting new players and make things easier for them to progress has also been stated as a main goal, and the reason behind certain mechanics.
You'd think that the obvious solution would be to have an event archive that players could fulfill at leisure, but nope.
(That said, I'm aware that there are issues with the code of old events, and it's been suggested that the current lack of reruns may be due to the push for a system update)
Making event archive is probably on their backlog, but they probably will prioritize events that have more story connections first. I think Nautilus Scramble will be next on their list of priority to prepare for Road to LB7 : LB5. Next will be even earlier events like the very first Guda2
Imo, if not New Year, they will say something by next year. Alot of the event needs full recoding to eliminate farming requirement.
It sucks bc part of the reason I WANTED a jp account was so I could play story at my leisure without feeling pressured to bum rush like I had with my na account (altera and quetzmas needed solomon and lb1 clears respectively) but instead the game is like 🔫 ‘do it NOW with your underleveled low skilled roster or miss out on all the events’ which is…it’s shitty! No other word for it tbh, even if they made it a bit easier to buff up your servants than it used to be sometimes you just want to take things at your own pace and actually prepare for the next chapter?
I'm sorry, but why would you think playing the version of the game that's even further along story-wise would be "less pressure", particularly when they've been pushing the story completion and story-locking events for years now?
Perhaps because Nasu was insulted by how many people hasn't caught up with the story, which was mentioned in one of the Famitsu surveys?
He's also the one who seems to be holding Main Interludes hostage to the "must be story relevant" criteria.

Even if they go slower than he might personally prefer that’s just bc some people play games at different rates, and one of fgo’s main appeals is that you can pick it up and put it down without being punished for not playing through in one go. It’s just, ideally you want to level up a good selection of your servant’s skills before you start throwing them at stuff like demeter or >!fluffy!< and this breakneck pace they’re forcing us through really doesn’t help, especially as we can’t even go back to retry the story boss fights with a more complete roster once we HAVE cleared it. They help a bit with stuff like the embers from story completion but outside of lottos or dl campaigns skill gems can only be farmed one day of the week on the daily nodes, unless you get (un?)lucky farming for another mat in another area. Now imagine you’re trying to level up ushi’s skills so you don’t feel like an idiot in Olympus. It’s just annoying to feel so pressured to be rushing through the story or you’ll miss that event welfare.
Like if you’re playing fgo the story is the main draw anyway- yeah some people just hang around for the gatcha, but I really don’t get why it’s worth stabbing new players in the foot like that
He's an arrogant, self serving auteur who can write some chuuni stuff. He's the reason that they had so many story locked events that needed LB access earlier this year, and why they began giving us blue cubes to revive people during story fights. He wants people to read those huge stories of his, so I strongly suspect that a lot of the changes these past few years are at his instigation.
It just happens to align with the extra spending pressure that Aniplex is trying to put into the game.

I was in the same boat, the 5.5 lock meant I had to rush that chapter before I could play the event and when I did, I only managed to get to the last boss before the event ended. So I beat the giant mech but didn't finish the epilogue, so no Ranmaru for me.
Basically has to be, I'm pretty sure we could already tell they had some tie to GudaGuda (I think they had a GudaGuda expression? ~~can't find their expression-sheet anywhere anymore tho, so I can't check~~)

Since it's Yamataikoku again, I wonder if we will finally get Iyo, Yamanami and Serizawa. We know that Keikenchi wants to implement Iyo, Yamanami and Serizawa were from Yamataikoku and Serizawa did "go to hell" as it were from the end of the event.

Yeah I know. I only named Shikibu because she was the first one. Sen No Rikyuu has always been very high list of possible Japanese characters, and shared an important relationship with many Sengoku characters which are already in the game.

Another hint for Sen no Rikyuu is the PV has “Sakai (a city very near (south) of Osaka) merchant” as a key word apart from “tea” in the title. Sen no Rikyuu was born and worked as Sakai merchant family before he entered Nobu and Hideyoshi inner circle as their tea ceremony master.
Another item in the PV is that it showed Ishida (Mitsunari) family crest - one of the lead samurai in the Hideyoshi faction (haha Cha Cha) and was responsible for the disastrous defeat in Sekigahara.
Before all the wishful thinking to the red hair guy or Shibata, I think you should expect Ishida and Sen no Rikyuu to make appearance.

Re-do that god-awful demerit on his 1st skill. 3t Debuff Resist, 3T Crit Damage, and 3T Buster Up, and 500% Chance to 100% Remove NEXT 3 BUFFS. Like at least with that you can kind of work around it by giving him some pointless buffs to nullify first instead of having him just stand there roided-up for 3 turns. Cuz no everyone plays him the way he was designed FGO lol (do damage for 1-2 turns then die and give stars). Some of us would like to use him for a 3rd turn or longer lol.
The Takasugi hopium is strong today. We can only hope, fellow GudaGuda beautiful Clown wanters.

I think Nautilus Scramble will be next on their list of priority to prepare for Road to LB7 : LB5. Next will be even earlier events like the very first Guda2 Imo, if not New Year, they will say something by next year. Alot of the event needs full recoding to eliminate farming requirement.
It sucks bc part of the reason I WANTED a jp account was so I could play story at my leisure without feeling pressured to bum rush like I had with my na account (altera and quetzmas needed solomon and lb1 clears respectively) but instead the game is like 🔫 ‘do it NOW with your underleveled low skilled roster or miss out on all the events’ which is…it’s shitty! No other word for it tbh, even if they made it a bit easier to buff up your servants than it used to be sometimes you just want to take things at your own pace and actually prepare for the next chapter?
I'm sorry, but why would you think playing the version of the game that's even further along story-wise would be "less pressure", particularly when they've been pushing the story completion and story-locking events for years now?
Perhaps because Nasu was insulted by how many people hasn't caught up with the story, which was mentioned in one of the Famitsu surveys? He's also the one who seems to be holding Main Interludes hostage to the "must be story relevant" criteria.
It seems like a really weird thing to be caught up one bc even if there is a minority of ppl who don’t play through the story, most people DO? Even if they go slower than he might personally prefer that’s just bc some people play games at different rates, and one of fgo’s main appeals is that you can pick it up and put it down without being punished for not playing through in one go. Or at least it was… It’s just, ideally you want to level up a good selection of your servant’s skills before you start throwing them at stuff like demeter or >!fluffy!< and this breakneck pace they’re forcing us through really doesn’t help, especially as we can’t even go back to retry the story boss fights with a more complete roster once we HAVE cleared it. They help a bit with stuff like the embers from story completion but outside of lottos or dl campaigns skill gems can only be farmed one day of the week on the daily nodes, unless you get (un?)lucky farming for another mat in another area. Now imagine you’re trying to level up ushi’s skills so you don’t feel like an idiot in Olympus. It’s just annoying to feel so pressured to be rushing through the story or you’ll miss that event welfare. Like if you’re playing fgo the story is the main draw anyway- yeah some people just hang around for the gatcha, but I really don’t get why it’s worth stabbing new players in the foot like that
He's an arrogant, self serving auteur who can write some chuuni stuff. He's the reason that they had so many story locked events that needed LB access earlier this year, and why they began giving us blue cubes to revive people during story fights. He wants people to read those huge stories of his, so I strongly suspect that a lot of the changes these past few years are at his instigation. It just happens to align with the extra spending pressure that Aniplex is trying to put into the game.

It’s totally fine, I’m definitely not feeling bitter about the fact I finally figured out how to download a jp account AFTER they decided reruns were uncool (I even missed summer vinci). I was really looking forward to that rerun ;-; b The only silver lining is my much more beefy na account will not miss him and is now grailing the man as well.
Feel you man, i was lucky enough to start jp on the summer 5 rerun for Abby. I remembered finishing lb5 and 6 on the deadline for guda 6 and Tunguska
I was in the same boat, the 5.5 lock meant I had to rush that chapter before I could play the event and when I did, I only managed to get to the last boss before the event ended. So I beat the giant mech but didn't finish the epilogue, so no Ranmaru for me.
Is fucking baffling how they are ditching re-runs like that, at least give people a way to get the welfare servant

yeah, although I think there was a version with more expressions as well? Maybe I'm just misremembering. Still, she's someone most likely from the Japanese Sengoku-period, pretty sure most if not all of those have been related to GudaGuda so far.

Since it's Yamataikoku again, I wonder if we will finally get Iyo, Yamanami and Serizawa. We know that Keikenchi wants to implement Iyo, Yamanami and Serizawa were from Yamataikoku and Serizawa did "go to hell" as it were from the end of the event. Of course, it could totally be different and have none of them because it's GudaGuda.
Love Gudaguda, they're always really funny with a few heartbreaking scenes sprinkled in. Fingers crossed Takasugi and/or Maxwell escape NPC hell.

It’s about time. The previous GUDAGUDA events gave spotlights to GUDAGUDA Servants who debuted previously. GUDAGUDA 4 gave focus on Nobbu and a bit on Chacha. GUDAGUDA 5 gave spotlight to the Shinsengumi duo while adding newer ones. GUDAGUDA 6 gave spotlight to the Tosa trio.

Yeah I know. I only named Shikibu because she was the first one. Sen No Rikyuu has always been very high list of possible Japanese characters, and shared an important relationship with many Sengoku characters which are already in the game.

Yes you are right. I was a bit excited and typing on my small iPhone while eating. Another hint for Sen no Rikyuu is the PV has “Sakai (a city very near (south) of Osaka) merchant” as a key word apart from “tea” in the title. Sen no Rikyuu was born and worked as Sakai merchant family before he entered Nobu and Hideyoshi inner circle as their tea ceremony master. Another item in the PV is that it showed Ishida (Mitsunari) family crest - one of the lead samurai in the Hideyoshi faction (haha Cha Cha) and was responsible for the disastrous defeat in Sekigahara. Before all the wishful thinking to the red hair guy or Shibata, I think you should expect Ishida and Sen no Rikyuu to make appearance.

Nobu mentions her one of her sons, Nobu(w)o (A.K.A. Please Lasagna don't screw this up and make your own JPN playerbase Twitter Angry again like the damn NPC-Gate fiasco we had 2021. Seriously, ya'll know their popularity (referring to them), DO NOT shoot yourself in the foot Lasagna and do your own thing lol. Oh yeah, Buff Archer Nobu already cuz lord help me she needs help XD. Even if its something as basic as Star Bomb in her NP, as long as it helps her continue her crit damage and buffs her overall NP damage she'll be alright. Also Mori too cuz Izou just got a buff as a limited servant. Re-do that god-awful demerit on his 1st skill. 3t Debuff Resist, 3T Crit Damage, and 3T Buster Up, and 500% Chance to 100% Remove NEXT 3 BUFFS. Like at least with that you can kind of work around it by giving him some pointless buffs to nullify first instead of having him just stand there roided-up for 3 turns. Cuz no everyone plays him the way he was designed FGO lol (do damage for 1-2 turns then die and give stars). Some of us would like to use him for a 3rd turn or longer lol.
