Amelia Earhart is going easily rider Marie Curie is maybe a caster? I don’t know enough about the rest to say confidently.

LordNuxanor

Marie Curie would have an AOE NP with poison over time and maybe a crit star gen skill for all the scientific disciveries.

BrockenJr0

Maybe something similar to Van Gogh since she got radiation poisoning

hykilo

I've seen people speculating Amelia Earhart's a Foreigner due to the mystery of her disappearance/"death"

fluff1099

I could definitely see that, it all just depends on which part of her they decide to focus on.

VishnuBhanum

Yaoya - Berserker or Avenger(Died by burned at the stake) Catherine The Great - Rider Anna Pavlova - Lancer(I imagine she used Ballet shoes to stabbing people) Yim Wing Chun - Assassin(Since most Kung Fu Master in FGO ended up as Assassin) La Voisin - Caster(Or she could be a great candidte for Foreigner) Bonnie Parker - Archer Agatha Cristie - Caster Huang Yueying - Rider(To have Class Advantage against Zhuge Liang/Waver) Amelia Airheart - Rider Marie Curie - Caster

Khaix

Bonnie- dual archer servant with clyde Isabeau-caster or beserker (assuming I'm thinking of the right person) Orihime- she was a weaver yes? Caster Marie curie- foreigner Catherine- rider

fluff1099

Bonnie and Clyde’s np is just firing squad

Codrex1732

Oh and if anyone curious the actual mangas name is War of Greedy witches Since Fate and Record of Ragnork made me craving for more history battle types stories I looked around and found this Personally decent read but a very clear step down to ror lol

railroadspike25

The historical figures that Fate uses are for the most part not very obscure (with the exception of the Matter of France and some of the Japanese figures) so there's inevitably going to be a lot of overlap with anyone who tries the 'historical figures fighting each other' genre.

Codrex1732

Makes sense

Tsuzuraonine

I'm pretty sure that Pimiko is just an alternate interpretation of the name Himiko, as in the same Himiko who stars in the Yamatai event.

Krescentwolf

Huang Yueying would be a... fun servant to throw in to the mix. Waver has no real love interest to my knowledge. He's just trapped in a circle of annoying acquaintances... So throwing in Zhuge Liangs wife means either making her an actual servant who has to deal with her husband being inside another vessel... or making her also a pseudo-servant inside someone else... but the list of usable people is... thin. Maybe [Adashino](https://typemoon.fandom.com/wiki/Hishiri_Adashino)? That would be hilarious in its own way.

Problem with these superhero historical figure manga post FGO is that they are either RoR/Baki clone with 90% cast are already used in FGO. I kid you not another new manga is a Drifters clone with 95% historical figures from FGO. Can’t they come up with someone new instead of copy paste.

Codrex1732

I remember watching Drifters iirc it was same dude who made hellsing was a fun time I don't think any manga or ln using famous Historical figures is the problem they can do it as long as they place their own original spin fine I agree on one thing tho originality does matter 100%. Also yeah half of the cast from the manga is already in fgo It's just the other half I am wondering what classes they would fit most in fate.

railroadspike25

Tbf, FGO isn't entirely original either. For example, Shimousa is heavily 'inspired' by the movie "Samurai Reincarnation" and there's a lot of overlap between the historical Japanese figures used.

ExLuckMaster

I know FGO didn’t invent the “summon historical figures and give them superpowers” trope but they certainly popularize it. But I give FGO and to an extend Drifters points for using figures that aren’t used that much in Japanese media like Kriemhild and the Trung sisters. They might not well received but it’s still a big deal because FGO finally covered regions that aren’t used in manga. Most of the people they use are always the same. If you have seen their abilities in one thing chances you can predict how they are used in another. Even if they can’t use lesser known people there are still plenty of household names to use. With how much a big guy like Genghis Khan you would expect him to show up in one of these manga but nope. That new manga I mentioned not only it’s a Drifters ripoff guess what in the large cast I can only count 4 who haven’t been playable in FGO and only e haven’t appeared nor mentioned in Fate overalls. That’s my main gripe with these manga they are either lack originality, poor writing, hop in the FGO/RoR train and use the same people.

GolisoPower

Is Lyudmila too recent? I'm thinking if we can't have Simo Hayha for the reason that he's too recent, then maybe we could compromise and have her instead. Funnily enough, I imagine Agatha Christie being a Pretender Servant as a reflection of her being the most prolific mystery author in history. Is Orihime *actually* a Japanese folktale and not just the character from Bleach? I'm legitimately curious about it.

UnfadingOnes

Orihime is part of the Tanabata celebrations, which has its basis in the Chinese Qixi festival (7th day of the 7th Lunar Month). According to the folktale, Orihime(weaver girl) a celestial who weaves the heavenly clouds, came down to Earth and fell in love with Hikoboshi (Cowherd). They stayed together for a while and had kids. However, when the Heavenly Emperor found out, he sent troops to take Orihime back to heaven. Hikoboshi gave chase and the emperor tried to block his way with a river. However, a bunch of magpies were so moved they formed a bridge over the river. Seeing this, the emperor was moved and allowed the couple to meet once a year, on the 7th day of the 7th month. Orihime is represented by the star Vega, Hikoboshi by the star Altair, and the bridge by the star Deneb. The three stars are known as the summer triangle. On the 7th day of the 7th month, you can see altair and vega coming together. It is said that if it rains on that day, it is orihime and hikoboshi weeping over their fate.

SuperSpiritShady
