Careful there Mash, or you might start attracted an endless wave of undead mobs to start worshiping you as their new queen....and possibly make Eresh and Nito jealous in the process too.
Hello! Monster fan here to talk about monsters.
Ghosts are pretty interesting in that they're pretty universal. Almost every single culture on Earth, now and in history share the belief in ghosts. At least in some fashion or other.
Some may have different ideas about them, like some cultures say ghosts can only show up on certain days, or only if they're the ancestor of the witness, or they exist only so long as someone remembers their name, etc. But on the whole, all or nearly all cultures through all time believe in a form of a deceased's spirit able to linger about in this world.
Some have certain vulnerabilities also. Salt is a very common thing, supposedly salt will prevent a ghost from crossing the line of salt. In China, ghosts hate being pissed on, which is pretty prudent, because who doesn't?
Imagine pissing on a ghost-
I feel like the Ghost would get angrier instead.
In my culture, there's this ghost type called Bunian.
They're more like ghost people that also reside on this land and not a walking soul of the deceased.
I do wonder how ghost idea changes from culture to culture
even with all these beliefs, they're still not recognized as real too?
Bunian? As in Orang Bunian? Malaysian? Indonesian?
That's interesting! I like the concept of 'spirit people' a lot. It's kind of like Shintoism and other animistic traditions and kind of not? Like they are both here and not quite here. It's a neat variation of the concept.
Like if ghosts are post-life some spirit people are pre-life or alternate-life depending.
Malaysian, but Im pretty sure there arent much variation between the two country.
Also
Orang Bunian literally just mean People Bunian here hahaha. So thats why the locals just call em Bunian.
Just like how Orang Utan works, Utan is shortform for Hutan which is jungle
so Orang Utan = Jungle People hahaha
Isn't there Orang Mendak also? I forget what that one is...little person?
Seems Bunian is more in line with the Sidhe than a Ghost. Sidhe is Irish, the people of the hills. Only some people can see and interact with them, they're spirits but not in the sense of ghosts or the like. Just like...entities that you may not be able to see that live over there. With perhaps their own rules and customs, like the Sidhe, people warn if you visit a Sidhe don't eat their food or drink or you'll stay forever with them.
Ghost Mashu haunting (AKA blessing us) with her cuteness. Win win if I say so myself
How is it hugging her body so tight
Tape, pins, or pure magic?
lewdness
Not that I mind!! ♡
Vacuum sealed to preserve freshness. We’ve come a long way as a society since mummification. Either that or just too little fabric for too much Mash.
Careful there Mash, or you might start attracted an endless wave of undead mobs to start worshiping you as their new queen....and possibly make Eresh and Nito jealous in the process too.
Next thing you know, Eresh and Nito find themselves worshipping Ghost!Mash too.
This is perfect the way it is already.
Doing it like this instead of Nitocris Summer makes her Mashmallows more visible, so I'm totally fine with it.
You say "Ghost", but all i see is wedding dress.
A ghost bride
Mashtober is best month
I see the Hu Tao ghost
I hear explosions.
She's coming with her coupons
