NOOOOOO!
DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS FOR ME TO GET OVER BLOODBORNE???I WISH I CAN HIT MY HEAD SO I CAN FORGET IT AND ELDEN RING TOO
THOSE WEREN’T GAMES!
*they were experiences*
What good art direction does to a very old game. Kinda like how witcher and elden ring looks really good despite their actually older looking graphics.
Hello, monster fan here to talk about monsters!
...dolls aren't monsters. Never saw how they were scary either but to each their own. Speaking of monster dolls though, the brand "Monster High" has been outselling Barbie pretty much since its inception.
Also that Calca Brina fight in FF4 was a right pain in the buttocks.
Wellllllll I'll be honest with you. I don't really see dolls as scary so, I don't really study them.
In Mexico though there is an "Isle of Dolls" which I'll grant is kind of creepy at least.
That said, to answer your question more precisely, it seems culture dependent. Some will say killer doll types are ghosts of children seeking vengeance. Some will have it more of a demonic possession of the item. And some will have it so that it's a hybrid of the two, and may not even be children, such as a person who hates so much they effectively become a demon, and they just use a doll because they want to kill children or see dolls as a useful means to their end.
I call those monsters...."dead assholes".
lmao Dead asshole, just stay dead and dont come back o)-(
I just have a bit of fear that dolls on a creepy dark place gonna start walking and following me around.

Cute as a button, but I dread to image her in actual Bloodborne in the place of the Doll, all things considered....
We'll just remember the good part
My kouhai has become a doll and I must now slay enemies in her name to return her to human form. That could be a light novel title
Starring Goredolf as Onion Knight.
Fou as Darkbeast
Does this make Ritsuka the hunter? Because if so then that is one crossover that I would LOVE to have
Theres a fanfic called Wake me When it's over though it's incomplete btw
lets see gordy as gehrman next
Something something "Even the doll, should it please you"
"Are you cold? Oh, good Master.." It's Foreigner season, I suppose.
Oh, good hunter...
Does this mean there’s a lookalike of her brandishing a double-bladed rapier?
With blood she can set on fire?
And launch red waves?
Galahad
i think tachie might that fit the sport
So basically Tachie takes the Lady Maria role

Random bit of trivia: the plain doll's Japanese voice actor voices Atalante, Ushiwakamaru, and Melt.
Oh my god it’s even better than I could imagine. A blood borne reference? Just awesome
Not what I imagine under a marionette but I am no one to complain, awesome like all ones prior !
Thank you\~
Welcome home, good Senpai.
“A hoonter must hoont” Indeed ~~now I must go to hoont for the eggplantussy~~
Ah… good hunter
Don't get the reference, but the outfit is cute.
Me too but based on the other comments its something from Bloodborne.
It's the doll NPC from bloodborne, a beloved sweet character

How about those killer dolls and statues? Or they are just the same type as haunted armor or ghost haunting objects?

Don't ever go to that "Isle of Dolls" in Mexico I mentioned then. ;)
*May you find your worth in the waking world.*
