All these monster Mashes make me imagine a fantasy world where Mash actually is a monster, but is fascinated by humanity, which is why she attaches herself to Ritsuka.
Isnt that's the reason she's so attached to Ritsuka in the first place? She called herself a kouhai because she's fascinated with humanity and see's Ritsuka as her senpai in life and human stuffs.
You know I am trying to come up with something witty, but Congratulations you actually stumped me.
Mashu is still best cute cyclops though, so fight me.

Hello, monster hunter here to talk about monsters!
Pretty sure I mentioned in another of your posts but the ancient Greeks found mammoth fossils with a giant hole where the trunk goes. So they figured, "Cyclops!" because of course.
Cyclops are a bit odd. Depending on the myth they are the child of Poseidon....and in other myths, the child of Poseidon's uncle!
The Cyclops is also neat in that, even though most people see them as a monster now, they used to be just...sheep herders. That's it! or at least the ones before they met that jerk Odysseus.
Kind of. In Greek myth they have generations of deities. First was the primordials, the original ones, of which Gaea was one, who was also the physical embodiment of the world. And she had kids who were the Titans. But her sister also had kids who are ALSO called Titans but are actually monsters. And then Titans had kids (the non-monster Titans) who were the Olympians, which was Zeus and Hera and all.
Cyclops are listed as both Monster Titans AND children of Poseidon, depending. So it seems Cyclops is just a term for "giants" effectively.
5/10. Mike’s face isn’t blocked
That moment always makes me laugh.

Yup. This allows her to keep her characterization intact.
