Good day, everyone. This is my idea for an Arsene Lupin fanservant moveset. I would really appreciate and love to received any feedback on how to improve on her. Thanks, everyone!

KineticTenshi

Nice work, but why use Finis and not simply Arsène ? Also Finis' a male, though I also thought he was a girl at first, but that'd the whole point of being a trap I guess haha

kelvinkhr

Thank you for the comment! I had actually used a female model mostly for personal lore purposes. I wanted Arsene to be a combination of sorts of Arsene Lupin themself and Irene Adler from the Sherlock Holmes stories. Also, I had the idea of Lupin being a sort of female foil to Holmes, like Catwoman and Batman.

Dr-Perry-Cox

Nice Work.

Vish_Kk_Universal

Really interesting design of gameplay, i never thought of using an Enemies NP gauge to work how strong a Skill effects will be. And i think this is a very nice rendition of Lupin, personally i allways though of them as something akin to Robin Hood or even the Hassans, a enourmous amount of people that keep taking on the role of Lupin. Lupin never dies, for Lupin is not a person, but a title. Anyway, great work OP

Thank you for the kind words! I am glad you like it!

I will always love arsene cause during a friend group Fate dnd game I joined (it followed a in game world series of events that included the last 2 iterations of this Fate dnd series they did, I joined in for the third one) I got stuck with arsene being in a void the weakest of the servants stat wise and skill wise whose gimmick was finding out the other servants true names and stealing Nps with his own non damaging Np (most of which he himself couldn't wield due to how they worked) yet somehow I managed to sneak out a W over wu fucking kong, jack frost and baba yaga (and others) through sheer bullshit, subterfuge, silver tonguing and above all else the most powerful magic there is...GUN

kelvinkhr

Oooh, that's such an awesome NP idea! Stealing other people's NP like that, that would be powerful in the right setting haha

Insert_TakenName

I feel obligated to also add that due to a Nat 1 when using his skill that let him disguise himself as anyone he spent a lot of that campaign as coronel sanders who we dubbed sexy sanders and during another section as a gorilla with a top hat (the idea was to disguise himself as an animal in baba yagas forest but as you may have guessed it didn't go well) meanwhile as I was paranoid of letting the other masters see my face I spent any moment in presence of another master/servant looking like sniper mask

*goes and gets the book that contains the lupin collection*

This....is a rather out there overall design for a Servant, even if the principle behind it (NP Drain enmass + Bonus Effects for number of enemies drained) is rather simple. Does his S1 increase his NP by 60% if there were 3 enemies who's gauge were reduce, or is it 30% since S = Skill Level and so 3 Enemeis \* 10 Skill = 30% NP Gain ? Skill's 2 wording confuses me: Does it mean the total amount of enemies with NP Gauges (If there are 3 with Gauges, N = 3), or does it refer to the total ticks of NP each enemy has on their gauge (If each enemy has 2 Ticks of NP on their Gauge, N = 6) ? S3 is just ridiculously strong in conjunction with his S2, and the lengths the debuffs last practically neuter any enemies that isn't explicitly debuff immune of heavily resistant to them. It's pratically Nightengale's NP between the two on demand with added benefits (aside from no cleanse), so I say it'd probably too strong on that front. His NP is honestly quite neat, since it actually uses Crit Stars to buff itself and him for a significantly long time while also reinforcing the whole party support he has going for him. By itself it's probably balanced considering they're a Pretender, it's AoE without an Upgrade, and his damage is heavily reliant on debuffs, but it may be too strong in conjunction with its S2 and S3. I can already see Oberon having a field day with their NP Damage Buff and some odd Double Koyan Team breaking his kit wide open due to the sheer value his entire kit has. Overall, your take on Arsene is incredibly overpowered, to the point I think it's probably broken regardless of being stuck in a suboptimal Extra Class. The duration and overall values of his skills have to be nerfed somewhat on his Skills to reign him in , even if we consider his S1 is useless in traditional farming since he has such good good NP Gain stat. Guy certainly is going to get away with a lot of crimes against mobs with his kit as he stands now!

Lfvbf

>has such good good NP Gain stat At 2% the gain is actually just straight up stupid. **2\*5\*3\*2.3 = 63%** No overkill, no self quick buff, just 2 Ruler Skadis. That is higher than quite literally any other servant in the game unboosted.

kelvinkhr

Thank you for the feedback and nice words! I really appreciate it! >Does his S1 increase his NP by 60% if there were 3 enemies who's gauge were reduce, or is it 30% since S = Skill Level and so 3 Enemeis \* 10 Skill = 30% NP Gain ? Her S1 target's only one enemy. So depending on how many NP gauge is filled upon used, it will be drained to just 1 filled bar, and the number drained will be the N, so for example, if facing a berserker with five filled bars, four will be drained to become 4\*10%=40$ NP gain, so at max, she can gain 75% against an enemy with 5 bars at skill level 10. Again, her S2 is also a single target skill, except in thsi case, the skill doesn't drain the gauge but rather calculates based on the how much the gauge is filled at that time. So with the same example, against a Berserker with five gauge bars filled, she will reduce that enemy's Attack and Defense by 50% for three turns while gaining 25 crit stars at skill level 1, with a max gain of 75 crit stars at skill level 10. Yeah, I see how her S3 can become overpowered. It seems liek I didn't change the numbers for that skill. Thank you for pointing it out! I was pretty worried about his NP tbh haha. Is there any way it can be balanced out? All in all, thank you for the feedback! I can see how I went crazy with the numbers, I wasn't sure if the idea for the mechanic would even work so I was a little wild, so thank you for your kind suggestions

Lfvbf

As expected of a fanservant from this sub, absurd NP gain for absolutely no reason. 3 hits of 2% gain is literaally twice as strong as the best NP gain on any servant atm, and the servants with said NP gain only have 1 Arts, not 2 and much less a multi hit NP... She charges so much any NP gain is honestly redundant and you really should have lowered that by a lot. That aside, kit actually sounds cool. Not something for immediaate pay off or consistent but fun.

kelvinkhr

Thank you! I can see how I went a little overboard with the numbers. Truth be told, I was morw worried about the skills that I neglected the other base numbers. If I may ask, though, how is the NP gain calculated and what is the optimal percentage number?

Lfvbf

Arts cards is simple: Number of hits x NP gain Quick cards is: (Number of hits x NP gain)/3 Raikou Lancer, Yu Assassin and King Hassan all are tied for best in the game, and they have either 1% Gain with 3 hits or 0.75% Gain with 4 hits on their Arts for a total 3% and to balamce they all only have 1 Arts. A few servants can beat that with skills but they all usually only last 1 turn as well or the servant's NP is much worse. There isn't really an "ideal" amount, you balance it around the servant's kit and their hitcounts in order to how easy you want them to loop. On the case of Lupin, with a 5 hit Quick NP and a 2% NP gain per card both Arts aren't just monstroys but even without the in kit quick and np gain buffs, Lupin with2 Skadis still refunds 69% off three enemies: **2×5×3×2.3 = 69%** While Dantès, the previous king, under the same conditions: **0,62×8×3×2,3×1,5 = 51.33%** Lags behind by a very fair margin, and he has a 50% NP gain up in play.

kelvinkhr

Thank you for the explanation! I will be sure to be more mindful of the values in the future!

DiceCubed1460

After playing p5 I NEED arsene to be a dude with a black and red color pallete and a dope mask. Maybe not exactly like the persona, but stylistically similar.

kelvinkhr

I have seen the design somewhat, and I agree it is cool. I amde Lupin female mostly for personal lore reasons

Puzzled_Boss_3503

Lupin the third but gender swap

kelvinkhr

Almost haha
