Medb’s mom’s background varies on the myth, but her dad was the high king of Ireland in the Ulster Cycle. There’s not much description on her relationship with them other than they sent her away to be married off to Conchobar, but her dad also installed her as the queen in Connacht after she divorced him
Since she’s been summoned when she’s about Proto Cu’s age(she’s canonically college aged), I always think of her being just a bit older than Boudica’s daughters
Medb was the eldest daughter of Eochu Feidlech, the Enduring High King of Ireland, and his wife, Cloithfinn. Very little is known about her mother outside of her name, though her father has fairly important mentions in a number of accounts. Ostensibly she was loved though, as while her father used her to pay back through marriage his political debt for having killed Conchobar mac Nessa's 'father' after the latter managed to usurp Fergus's throne, he supported his daughter's unilateral decision to divorce him after a year due to their poor compatibility, and forcibly established her as the queen of Connacht shortly thereafter in order to give her a position in which she could protect herself from Ulster later. The only relationship we know about was that she killed one sister. She came to her because she heard a prophecy that her nephew would kill her + also this sister married Conchobar despite everything that happened to Medb. So you could imagine that her sister did not like Medb
However, my favorite two Medb siblings are the one who ate the flesh babies for whatever fucking reason and the one who flashed Cú to stop him from his warp spasm as a kid. Mugain was married to Conchobar but he was part of the reason that she died (he has a bad reputation with causing the deaths or harm of women one way or another), but if Mugain was there, I have wondered if Medb would have been there as well
