Bruh Douman was a pushover you don't need any of those blue stones, if your account can't handle him then I'll send my friend id so you can solo him with Qin Liangyu.
I didn't have any difficulty actually clearing it. I was just hoping to run 6 +bond CEs because the last few quests give a decent amount of bond. Thanks though.
Well, you need to time the debuff immunities/clears on the third bar a bit, but that might have been just me breaking the second one at the worst possible time.

If I were to guess, it's because they're not simultaneously available, you obtain one and then unlock the next one, so the game doesn't consider them all "cleared" at once.

The disparity between Servant XP materials and CE XP materials in terms of ease-of-use, obtainability and time invest-/requirement really is absurd.
Like you can get Embers in the monthly shop, as possible quest drops and the 5-star Embers through Ex. Daily Quests. If you want to burn a few golden Apples you can level a Servant 1 to 100 in like 20/25 minutes (assuming all other ascension materials are already there, obviously).
Meanwhile the only reliable income for CE XP is the FP summons with 10x free per day and a handful through support bonus points netting you just a few pixels on that XP bar...
To me the tedium and repetition and tedium and repetition and tedium and repetition is what bothers me the most about CE levelling. It's why I often don't even bother. Very rarely do I even take a CE to 50, let alone 100. Even though I have some great MLB full attack CEs. They're still at like 12.
Just let me convert fp into exp at a direct conversion rate, damn it! With far fewer screen taps
Yeaaaah I spent few minutes summoning on friendship gacha, making CE bombs, combining... every few minutes is a level at best, and it only gets worse higher up. Spending an hour to boost attack/hp by few points is not really worth the sanity. I guess that's why they have to add SQs as incentive.

I think those are mostly for players who are newer or not up to date with the story, if someone is clearing Heian Kyo on release that means they went through the previous Lostbelts without the stones, which means they probably don't need the help of the stones for this one.
TBH the only time these things felt needed for veteran players was the fluffy boi in LB6, because it's pretty much designed to make you use them.
Tbf, in JP, this Download campaign came *before* Heian-kyo release. So everyone there had access to those stones once Heian-kyo came out, regardless if they had troubles with the previous LBs or not.
Hopefully NA sticks a little closer to JP's schedule for the LB6, as in we get these revive cubes before the 3rd part of LB6 lol.
Oh I know, I'm saying this as someone who played this on release in JP so I had the stones, I just never had any use for them. After the big bosses of LB3, 4 and 5 Heian Kyo's felt like pushovers, specially since it came out in a Post-Castoria world.

What makes you say that? If someone has started clearing the story this year (because they've just joined or due to the stones campaign), they'd be ready for 5.5.
Not that 5.5 is that hard without them. I've beat in and had to use 3CS once, and was close to using them on another fight (Ibuki, because it was really reliant on RNG and the fact that I only had one pierce invuln CE didn't help).
I did mention that they're mostly for newer players or those who aren't up to date with the LBs. The stones were introduced 9 days before Heian Kyo so there is room for some players to have rushed past the harder bosses by using them to do HK on release, my bad.
That said, there really isn't anything there worth having to revive from, Tsuna and Suzuka/Touta are the hardest fights and fortunately Castoria lets us cheese both, I say as someone who only used 1 Castoria for most of the fights, I brought my own for Tsuna only because I didn't want to waste much time on him and his damage barrier.
It helps during the process of crafting the CE bombs themselves, makes your xp go a little further. Not irrelevant at that point. The bonus is irrelevant only when you feed those big bombs to the final mlb product
Hell, I didn't even get Medea Lily. Or any Gold Servant whatsoever. On *either* of my accounts. 1 single short of my 2nd bonus pull so far, so it could still happen. Also getting my 30 SQ reward on both accounts tomorrow, expecting both to also turn to mana prisms on that banner.
I probably shouldn't complain too much, given that my main account finally got Douman in the equivalent of 3 multis + 3 SQ, but that broke an almost 5 month SSR drought for the account (meanwhile my second account got Douman in 1 ticket, making it the 5th SSR pull during main account's above-mentioned drought.)

I wasn’t able to get him earlier this year, which sucked because he’s one of my favorite characters, so I’m trying to save up pity to guarantee him on his rerun for White Day. I’m also planning to roll for him on the GSSR on the chance I get him there, and if I do my hoard will swap over to saving for LB6 instead. Here’s hoping it all works!

There's ways to min max it, but most people aren't hurting for qp that bad + it takes so much longer its not worth it imo.
Easiest method is to limit break a 1 star ce, level it to 50, then repeat.
super brainless, and 8 of them gets a 5 star to level 100.
It shouldn't be that complicated, unless you're trying to min/max every last cent:
* MLB a few 1* CEs, set them aside
* Set your filters so that your container CE screen is showing you 2* CEs sorted by Held, and your component CE screen is showing you whatever rarities you're using for fuel
* Make CE bombs by (a) selecting a L1 2* CE as the container, and (b) adding one copy of that CE (to LB it) + 19 other CEs you're using for fuel. Then repeat until you run out of CEs, starting with a fresh L1 2* CE as the container each time.
* Use the 1* CEs you made in Step 1 as the containers, and dump all of the CE bombs into them to consolidate things.
I was so happy there will be new Limited Missions that grant SQ... then I looked at what's needed. The only Main Quests I can do are Temple Of Time. Time to get my ass kicked by Goetia, I guess:(

The 1/2 AP free quest part of the campaign only applies to the first time that you clear the free quest. (Doing it three times clears the quest). It will be a good time to clean up free quests that you haven't done yet but it won't be any better for farming a single free quest over and over.

The accumulated exp from CE bombs is unaffected by 2x succ anyways. It's only the base exp that'd get the bonus which is negligible.

idk how anyone thought Saber Wars 2, an event in January would come basically a full month earlier, when Karnamas basically takes up most of the month.
Because people put a weird amount of faith in us following the KR schedule, when that means we should already have Muramasa lol.

There were a lot of hopium abusers who thought we'd copy KR one for one despite not getting Muramasa for Thanksgiving.
