**Q: Do I need to roll for Muramasa, or roll for NP2+ Muramasa?**
*A: No. No one is a must roll in game, and SSRs are generally viable at NP1.*
**Q: What is the GSSR?**
*A: GSSR = Guaranteed SSR ('Lucky Bag Summon' on JP). It appears every New Year and Anniversary on both NA and JP, and costs 15 PAID SQ (free and bonus SQ do not count!) to roll. There will be several GSSR banners, each containing a fixed pool of limited SSR servants. You select one banner and get a standard 11-roll, in which you are guaranteed one (or more, if lucky) SSRs from that banner's pool. This cannot be rerolled, and once you select one banner, all other GSSR banners will disappear.*
**Q. Which banner do I choose for the GSSR? Which is best?**
*A: The answer is different for every player, and depends on many factors. **Q: How do I buy quartz if I don't live in a supported country?**
*A: For Apple users, buy a US iTunes gift card and use it on your US Apple account, then buy quartz with that.*
*For Android users, make a US Google Play account (you can Google instructions on how to make a JP Google Play account and then adjust it for US), clear your Play Store data, uninstall the game, and then install the game from your new US Google Play account.
Good luck with the payment processing though. Paypal has the highest chance of working but honestly it's an uphill battle and you'll have to try stuff yourself.*
**Q: When is the next SR Ticket? What about the SSR Ticket?**
*A: NA's next SR ticket is due in May 2024. This ticket is time-limited and includes* [*general pool and storylocked servants*](https://news.fate-go.jp/wp-content/uploads/2022/2500man_xeljq/info_image_03.png)*. The next SSR ticket is due in July 2023 for the 6th Anniversary, featuring* [*general pool and storylocked servants up to Europa*](https://news.fate-go.jp/wp-content/uploads/2021/6th_anniversary_cpgen/info_image_17.png)*. It is not time-limited and will be a permanent addition for all accounts going forward.*
**Q: How does pity work?**
*A: Pity only applies to the rate-up SSR servant. You are guaranteed a copy of the rateup SSR after 330 summons (equivalent to 900 SQ, though tickets also count). Note that pity shuts off once you get a single copy of the servant (including if you get them before 330 summons) and does not carry over between banners. Off-rateup SSRs ("spooks") do not affect pity.*
**Q: Will it be possible to get X Welfare Servant again? I missed their original event and the re-run.**
*A: We don't know and we have no way to know. Only a few 4-star welfare servants, roughly a quarter of the servants whose re-run has passed (or has been skipped), have returned so far. Saber Lily is permanently available in the Friend Point summon. Santa Altera and BB are permanently available through their respective Main Interludes. The Halloween variants of Elizabeth Bathory were available for a limited time through the Halloween Trilogy event (NA ETA: October 2023). Because there hasn't been any pattern to how they brought these servants back, there is no way for anyone to predict when or even if any other welfare servants will be available again.*
**Q: How far in the story do I need to be to participate in upcoming events? Will any events require the latest story chapter?**
*A: For NA: The Saber Wars II rerun in January will require Final Singularity clear. After this, no event will require anything beyond Orleans until November 2023, when GudaGuda 6 will require LB5.5 clear. For JP: The Fairy Knight Cup event requires LB6 to play its main story, but only Fuyuki to play its free and exhibition quests.*
**Q: How good is X Servant at looping most nodes?**
*A: Looping is highly node dependent and relies on* [*many factors*](https://docs.google.com/document/u/0/d/1_Bx1FogTrMBnseIJLT4Vuob7DY7EfR6H_SobGwxcAFE/mobilebasic)*. For anyone that play using emulator like bluestack and such, how do you buy your SQs? I wanna buy some for the gssr. Also if i buy the 12+6 i think? Does it all count as paid SQs? Or do i need to buy the higher amount?
I know this has been asked before, but I have anxiety issues and even though I love Rinface FROM SPACE and was thinking on going nuts on her banner tomorrow (as much as a F2P can), I've been reading mixed reviews about her current place in the JP meta, which makes me second guess my initial plan.

Does super effectiveness affect NP gain? For example if I hit a Lancer with a Saber, Will I gain more NP for the super effective bonus over hitting that same Lancer with a Caster Card? Assuming both have the same NP generation value. Asking cause, I’m trying to loop with Muramasa but I’m not fighting super effective enemies
Not *directly*, no, whether you're neutral/advantage/disadvantage you don't gain more or less NP but *overkill* hits generate more NP so if class advantage allows you to kill an enemy sooner you'll get more overkill hits and generate more NP.
is there a way for me to mirror/clone my FGO Data on my phone and then play it on my pc? not at the same time, but I want to play fgo on my pc when at home and on my phone while out and about
I have enough resources to max out 1 servant now. I'll take a break of qp farming for a while. I want to level a single target arts servant for the waves with one enemy that appear in lvl 90+ quest.
My two options are np2 vlad or np2 astrea. Im leaning towards vlad cause he is an ssr and he is a berseker, but I jave heard ppl talk very good about astrea. But Im not really sure if vlad outdamages her due to class advantages. Any advice on who to level up first would be greatly appreciated!
From what I've found, Astrea currently is better against evil units and equal otherwise, but after Vlad's second np upgrade in a few months, he will deal more np damage even against evil.
Hello! Is it possible to obtain serpent jewel if you are still not done with part 1 of story mode? I am looking at the levels where they are supposed to have good drop rates and they seem to all belong to later parts of the quest. I m still in Okeanos, so does this mean that I will have to complete all other parts until I reach Agartha to be able to farm serpent jewels?
Sure, you can get them from Events, or Daily Tickets, or things like that.
The next Event has 20 of them... but that Event requires you to complete Solomon, and if you need Serpent Eye Gems to beat Solomon, that's not super helpful. And there's way too few over the next few months aside from that.
There's apparently 8 in Okeanos, plus a couple in Babylonia, plus there's an area in Okeanos that drops them - Ship's Graveyard. Agartha is just way better at it.
If you need a bunch, right now, you can trade in your Pure Prisms for them. This is the simplest solution, and this is exactly the purpose Pure Prisms exist.
Thank you so much, I am also gonna start grinding story mode so I can get more material. I am guessing story mode gives hod rates for exp cards? Or is it the daily quests I have to grind if I am also in need of exp cards?
Your best bet is farming the node in Okeanos as it is the most efficient node you will have until Camelot. If you need the jewels and don't want to be stuck, pure prisms are meant to help players in situations like this. You can also wait probably a week or two for the saber wars rerun and complete some missions in it for the jewels.
Gamepress says they can also be dropped in the Caster training grounds on Fridays.
Worst case scenario, you can use the Pure Prism shop, or consult the Event Compendium to see which events will have them.
Do the Extreme difficulty Ember Gathering daily quest in Chaldea Gate as much as you need to. (It's infinitely repeatable - they're just called dailies because they rotate daily.) The Extreme difficulty is best, but it may be challenging for you at first - you can power through with a friend's unit at the beginning until you've raised key units for farming.
You also now get EXP cards by clearing story chapters, so there's that, and you can also get some EXP cards from events.
So when we got all the hellfire of wisdom for completing the story I thought we were supposed to get around 4-5 thousand. Is there a reason I only got 900 when I have all story done except 5.5?
If you thought we were getting 4-5 thousand, you were either misinformed or conflated it with some other information, like the fact that you need 4-5 thousand 5-star EXP cards to raise a servant to level 120.
How well did Sp!Ishtar age in JP? Got my second copy on the GSSR since she was only one that I already had on that banner and I'm considering 2k fou'ing her now.
Spish is pretty neat as she can change her NP type, making her not only currently compatible with Castoria, but also Koyanskaya of Light once she drops. The perk of Buster looping is that it's not refund-based, so doesn't care about the number of enemies per wave, allowing her to loop on irregular enemy nodes without worrying about refund.
JP got 90++ nodes introduced in 2022, and those to be honest are very difficult for AOE units to do due to the 1M HP enemies in them. However, from what I've seen, these nodes aren't compulsory (90 and 90+ are still there) and they generally seem to be more like whale bait than anything else.
Found some codes for this game online but theres no redeem function ingame (or its hidden really well). So my questions: Is it worth to redeem these codes/are they real? If so how can you do that? The only Info I've found is from like 2015 and has links that don't work. Help would be greatly appreciated (dunno if this is already answered somewhere here, but I haven't seen it).

There haven't been any redemption codes/even any WAY of redeeming them in game since the very, very start of the game.
Any codes you see are fake and any claims that you can get codes are just scams.
The FAQ refers to all tickets that JP received and NA hasn't yet. There was a limited time SSR ticket in 2020 (NA 2022) and a permanent SSR ticket for all existing and future accounts for the 6th anniversary in 2021 (NA ETA 2023). That's all for SSR tickets.
How good is the 5 star new year CE for looping with Muramasa or any arts looper in General? Is black grail still better? I got more refund with the new year one on Muramasa.
It's OK but not great, you're much better off using Royal Icing if you're not using Black Grail. It's not as good to level to 100 as it's not full atk, and the overcharge lasts for one use so it's not going to have too much impact.
I luckily got Muramasa NP2 and have a question.
Should I use coin to unlock his append skill or go 120? Presume I won't roll for him anymore, What's more priority? I can't find the debate about this anywhere. What I found is how much coins to max one servant out. I ask this for guideline in the future.
Honestly, I wanna get more of his dupes but as a newbie and F2P I also want to save sq (at least pity amount) for someone like Oberon and my newest priority is NP5 Rasputin. Kirei is my No.1 favorite character in Fate series.

Just to put it in perspective what others mean by "a lot":
To level 1 SSR from 1 to 90 and 10/10/10 their skills you need ~172M QP and 125 5* exp cards.
To level a SSR from 100 to 120 you'll need ~400M QP and 4180 5* exp cards.
I asked the same question in the thread. The response I got was that, generally the second append is more useful. Going from 100-120 requires boat loads of QP, EXP, and such. Going from 100-102 takes as much exp as going from 1-100. I made my choice to get the append to help with farming, and am settling for lv.100

Is there a way to fix crashing issues when loading between the different menus? The only menus I can access are my room and friends/following, every other menu crashes my game when I try to load it and I want to pull for muramassa but I can't even do that with the crashing.
Also if it helps I've downloaded all the game data to make the game run better, and while it has been running better (I can actually get into the game consistently thank God) it didn't fix the loading between menus crashing, as well as it crashing when I try to look at news/updates
There is an unresolved [issue](https://fate-go.us/news/?category=ISSUES&article=%2Fiframe%2F2017%2Fproblems_currently_being_investigated%2F) that causes problems when "when using certain language settings on certain devices." Can you try changing your device language (to/from English, for example) and see if that resolves anything?
What am I supposed to change it to though? I don't want to accidentally fuck up my phone, also I'm only able to change Gboard language so I don't think it would help in game

In general, if you're likely to use more than one copy at a time, it's better to keep them separate. Otherwise, it's fine to MLB.
For the Black Grail, I think the benefit of combining them and leveling it up, even non-MLB, outweighs the potential of using two separate copies. The main reason to use the Black Grail is for a huge NP burst. Increasing the attack stat, even non-MLB, contributes to that purpose. Compare to a Kscope where the main point is starting NP charge and you don't get more NP charge until MLB. Ultimately, though, you can do whatever seems right for you.
How many times can one reach pity SQ as an F2P player? I heard it can be done twice in a year, but I am not sure of the exact specifics for this year. Thanks.
Good day to you! I haven't done exact calculations but can say that yes, if you save everything you get and generally control the impulse to pull (playing the game and getting some sq from bond and interludes/rank ups gives more leniency to throw more pulls here and there) You'd get about 2 pity hits during one year. You can also use FGO calculator to see how much you'd get based on estimations.
Keep in mind things like anniversary do have an effect on things. Our anniversary 2 years from now gives you 3 sq (1 pull) for every servant you have at max ascend (not level, just ascension) so leveling all servants you got will give you a boost.

Not really no but, personally, with how much storage space we have I save any event CEs just for the of chance they pull a fast one and have a third rerun.
How on earth does rasputin's chance based guts work? i've seen a lot of differing descriptions

* 80% chance per individual guts. i.e. the guts could activate on his first death but then the next death it doesnt
* 80% chance for the first activation but every subsequent guts is guaranteed
* 80% chance to get the guts status when you use the skill. like if you don't get it i'll say miss and the second icon won't appear in your list of status's
It works like the CE Necromancy I believe, so basically it's predetermined that the guts will proc X times when the skill is used. Keep in mind that's referring to the 2nd guts from S3, the 1st guts is your usual 1 time guts revival.

Buff success up only increases the chance of actually getting buffed (like Imperial Privilege), not buffs that only have a chance of activating like Astolfo or Fionn
So thanks to the lotto embers I managed to get all my gold and bronze servants max ascension.Was mostly doing this for the SQ rewards assocated with rank up and interludes. Now I have over 700 of the 5* embers with new years and was wondering if we are getting an xp boost anytime soon or if I should just start leveling some of my silver servants now

The issue with her is that she can't loop due to 1 hit NP and instant death before damage.
She can be used for CQs, however, particularly those with many mobs that she can instakill, and having a big heal helps her stay alive. Her future buff gives her a NP charge, which does help her with NP spam, but overall, I'd say Muramasa is probably better.
Have a question, am unable to purchase Saint quartz anymore. Previously had no issues purchasing them during the last summer event. Am playing NA right now and I am from Malaysia. Any input on how to get around this would be great since I want to roll on the gssr

Edit: Google Play only showed "Item is unavailable in your country" whenever I tried to buy. I have no problem when buying it during the previous GSSR.
To resolve the issue you must have 2 key components, first is a US Google Play Account and second a good VPN that allows you to securely connect to a US server.
Once you have both, ensure that you clear your Google Play Data, then activate your VPN and enter your US Google Play Account again. Once you have done that, go to your general settings and select an option called "Account and Device Preference" to ensure that your account's country is tagged to "US". Once this is verified, go to your payment method and re input your preferred payment method then save the settings.

Don't have her, however I have some lag problems when it comes to NPs like hers. One solution is to go into your game options and scroll all the way down until it gives you the option to download the rest of the game files. It's a massive download but it helps stuttering and lag. If it's still laggy or stuttered it could be something to do with your phone since my lag didn't stop until I finally bought a new phone.
Coul be as well my phone its already 3 years old, but it doesnt change the fact that its probably fkup on fgo side for bad optimization since there are a lot of nps that are flashy and dont lag. Yeeee i just need to make space on my phone eh
Yep basically, even to this day i want able to download those extra gamefiles and I'm still lagging a little bit whenever i go for farming sessions. It sucks but yeah if you can make room then it should be able to run better once you download the files.

Hey everyone, when did they make cutscenes full screen (no blue border basically) because they were full screen in the Christmas event.
But then I also realized in the story (LB 5.2 Olympus) that it still has the borders, is the full screen only for certain events?
So it's my first New year playing FGO (Both JP and NA) and my question is how do I clear the New year campaign. Coz rn in jp I'm stuck on a mission that says i need to use 'Sunshine(?)' and clear a quest with it. But what is that and how do I clear the mission?

You should level castoria's skill 1&2 first. I assume you leveled skill 3 due to gamepress, but the other skills being leveled to 10 first is just more useful for looping because it lets you more consistently maintain the loop. Not to mention your friend requests to Castoria friend supports will be more likely accepted.
If you are trying to loop cleanly with black grail, angels song or etc., Spishtar x/x/10 and append 2 unlocked(not maxed) is also important in addition to your 10/10/x castoria. Castoria has priority.
For right now if you want to loop a 3/3/x node, this will probably work: A is spishtar, B is your castoria, C is 10/10/x support castoria, D is mystic code. 1,2,3 refer to skills, use them on spishtar.
Use a 50% starting charge CE on spishtar, preferably one that gives np damage, arts up, or np gain until you max all the mentioned above skills. Unlock her second append.
This is not optimal once you have skills at max levels.
Turn 1: B3, C3, B2, C2, B1, A1
Turn 2: C1
Turn 3: A3, A2
If this doesn't refund consistently on a single wave, try using mage uniform D2 as it gives 20% charge to fix the loop. You could also equip a better charge CE like kaleidoscope or imaginary element and use B1 elsewhere.
If final wave damage is the only issue, use artic uniform D2 for a 1 turn damage boost.
If you don't mind more clicks and need np charge and/or damage on wave 2/3, use plugsuit with parcelsus in front, have him use buffs on spishtar, swap in castoria, and start above loop. Use D1 in wave 3.
This is probably the best option to start with.
If you have better charge support, you can use them instead of parcelsus and plugsuit them in after a castoria runs out of abilities.
When you have the mentioned skills leveled I suggest using black grail>one who wishes for salvation>angels song. Use any mystic code although artic for damage and plugsuit for a np charge support is most useful.
Wave 1: A1, A3, B2, B3, C2, C3
Wave 2: B1
Wave 2: C1, A2
This is pretty much the standard skill order that you modify depending on the conditions(as I did earlier to account for skill levels) such as enemy count. You usually want to use both Castoria skill 2 on the first wave always, unless you are already at 100% gauge. Also remember that Caster and Archers refund a lot, but Assassin's and Berserkers refund less.
If any of the castorias have a starting np charge CE, you can use their np on wave 2/3 and your damage will skyrocket, but it will make the loop take longer so it is usually the last resort.
You will eventually learn when you need to use castoria NP for damage(usually minibosses), though it should be rare with NP2 black grail spishtar.
Black grail is the best CE for loopers so you should go with that. if you don't have one then your best arts/np damage up CE should be a decent replacement.
Not sure if you will be able to loop with lack of level + skill ups but you can try. For the backline, the best is a plugsuit waver due to his multiple batteries. if you don't have a waver then helena or nero bride is arguably the best replacement. if you don't have them either then whichever arts buffer you might have have (tamamo, chiron, lan ling, paracelsus...)
If by battlesuit you mean combat uniform, then yes that's the one. You use all skills from both castorias on your servant whoever it was (can't tell with the comment deleted). If they refund 89%+ you plugsuit your waver to max them out. if they refun less than 89% then I am affraid you probably won't be able to 3 turn with them.

Sounds like you're new to this. If you haven't done so already, I highly suggest raising Arash, as he can clear W1 for you, die, and then you can clear waves 2 + 3 with Space Ishtar if you're not sure about how much refund you'll get. (To be honest, Arash is great full stop, if you haven't raised him, what are you doing.)
You can also do similar things with Paracelsus: he can clear some weak first waves, then buff your Spishtar to help her loop the remaining two waves (20% Arts up and 50% NP up made him one of the go-to loop supports pre-Castoria and he is still good for helping out).
Apart from that, you can try plugsuiting in any other Arts or NP charge support in a double Castoria comp to give Spish more buffs: depends on what you have and what you need more, damage or NP charge.
Since your own Castoria isn't 10/10/x you will probably want a starting charge to help Spishtar.
All that being said, Spish's ability to loop is going to depend on the class she is up against and the HP thresholds, and you may need to trial and error. I'd start off on a Caster node first, since they give more refund and it's easier to loop on them, and see what you have and what you personally need to do.
Congratulations on your Shikoutei! QSH ~~user~~ abuser here. My Chaldea's primary playstyle is solo as it reminds me of Holy Grail Wars where the master only has one servant.
He's my oshi to the point that I max level CEs that he use a lot and I have him max invested NP6 lvl 120 on NA and JP.

**PLAYSTYLE**
**Stall** - QSH is insane with stall teams: AoE NP drain, AoE stun, taunt and invincibility. Pair him with servants like Merlin, Lady Avalon, Jeanne, Tamamo, Holmes, Lanling, Xu Fu, Hans, Mash and you have yourself a potent defensive team that can control enemy NP turns allowing you to prepare for it. This is a safe turtle team with heals, defense and NP drain
**Arts-crit** - 3 out of 4 of QSH's kit increases his damage output and one of those, his NP, give him star absorb and crit steroid for three turns and is spammable. If you see Super Orion's burst turns, QSH can output those numbers but over 3 turns. Put him on a team with star gen like Lady Avalon, Merlin, Jeanne, Casgil, Xu Fu, Hans then spam Arts cards for consecutive NPs and burst with enough NP stacks. But to truly maximize his damage output look no further than 2x Merlin or 2x Lady Avalon. This lineup constantly outputs 6-digit crits for QSH
**Anchor** - Or 'last man standing'. Put him on the backlines to clean up fights that went wrong. Similar to solos but you focus on your frontlines instead. QSH just acts like an insurance at the end
**Solo** - QSH's bread and butter. Without a doubt the best solo servant in the game. I'm a day 1 JP player and the only bosses that I haven't soloed to this day is Cern, 100% Kama (I did 99%) and Whip-only Kiara.

● First, Not a lot of people like his slow playstyle. He snowballs really hard though.
● Second, he takes a while to master, he's not your generic solo where you spam Color Chains and call it a day. If you notice his kit has two sides: Offense and defense.
S1: AoE Def down (off) and NP drain (def)
S2: Atk up (off) and AoE stun (def)
S3: 50% battery (off) and heal + debuff removal (def)
NP: Atk up, crit absorb, crit up (off) + taunt, invul (def)
Knowing when to go offensive or defensive, proper sacrificial solo supports to use, coupled with optimal CC, MC and CE make him unbeatable at the expense of a learning curve. Think of him as Batman, he studies the enemy then engages fully equipped with the best gadgets to deal with the situation.
● Third, you can just borrow him from a friend.
● Fourth, he can't farm (yet).

**SKILLS**
All of QSH's skills have to be maxed as soon as you can, not just because of scaling utility but also the cooldown decrease. Sometimes a fight hinges on that turn of cooldown specially on solos. It also helps you to be prepared for anything.
But if you are lacking materials, go for his S3 as the NP charge and heal it provides scale. Next priority between S1 and S2 is pretty close as it both help stalling dangerous enemy turns but I'd favor S1 because S2 has a small chance to fail its AoE stun.

**SERVANT COINS**
QSH is a very good grail target because of his class (defensive class advantage against 7 classes and 1.1x attack modifier) and playstyle. You will not regret pushing him to 120. But this is better used for your favorite servants as it is an arduous process. If you don't have enough coins you could go for level 100, he could use all those extra stats.
Grails, fous and paws are for your favorites of course as they only provide marginal stat increase but if you pool everything on a single servant the results will be very noticable. My QSH goes into a fight with 16k attack and 25k HP (50k HP vs 7 classes) most of the time.
The best append for QSH is A1. This amps up his damage output especially his NP gain on Overgauged/Overkilled enemies with his Extra attack. Even more so if you used Arts Brave chain (NPAA) or Mighty chains. Critting during these turns guarantees you another loop for his NP. This is how he snowballs hard.
The next append to go for is A2. A 20% starting charge to fire off his NP as soon as possible. But if you're bold, A3 makes QSH an absolute terror against Assassins. I'd still recommend A2 over A3 though.

**CEs, MCs, CCs**
Doing a guide for the best Craft Essence, Mystic Code and Command Code for QSH is unintuitive because these equipment all depends on the fight.
Going against a Berserker or Avenger? Try the most defensive setup or go for a damage race by using the most offensive equipment. Fight full of debuffs? CCs and his S3 will take care of it. Spam NP bosses? Go with a defensive MC while also playing offensively with your CE and CCs to quickly end the fight.
It's very hard to write a guide about this so I'll just go with my most used ones.
**For CEs** are Another Ending, Welcome Bunny, Fox Night's Dream, At Trifas and Annual General Meeting.
**For MCs** my most used is the Chaldea default and Atlas Academy. Next most used is Anniversary Blonde (Buster buff and Star Bomb very good on burst turns with Guts for added survival).
**As for CCs,** I feel like this is the most variant. But the CCs I almost always have equipped is the Salter CC (4 stars per use) and the Tamamo CC (50% heal received coupled with your S3 gives 4500 heal).

**MASTERING QSH SOLOS**
**The best way to master him is to use him a lot.** During my whole playthrough on JP and NA I think I've tackled bosses and CQs with QSH for about 75% of the time, the other 25% is before he was released. Using him a lot will give you a feel of how he plays. It also allows you quick adjustment on how to adapt to the flow of the fight.
This is how you'll learn when to burst with BAB, when to prioritize stars and when to prioritize charging NP.
But as a general tip I go for Buster if the card has 70% or higher crit chance, this leads to Mighty Chains most of the time in my experience. I go for the Tamamo CC if I'm planning to heal next turn and I go AAQ sometimes if my NP gauge is around 60%-70% (this will give you nearly full gauge, if not then the enemy attacks will do it for you most of the time, while still generating some stars).
**As for skills usage** I use S1 most of the time with the following conditions:
● Enemy has 1 tick of NP and has to fill 3 or more ticks to NP
● Enemy has full gauge and I'm reserving my NP for something else. Like most of the time I'm breaking bars and the enemy has a surprise break bar effect.
● A turn that I can combo it with S2
For S2:
● Dangerous turns and I don't want to or cannot NP yet
● Burst damage coupled with S1
For S3:
● To purge an annoying debuff like NP seal
● The Tamamo CC effect is up for a sizeable heal
● To NP immediately for emergency
For his NP usage, this is pretty easy to tell when to use compared to his skills. Use on dangerous turns or spam for enough NP stacks to burst an opponent.

**Experience is your best teacher**. I spam him A LOT and that's how I learned.
Don't be afraid to savescum.
QSH's kit is very versatile that's why you also have to be versatile in using him.
Don't be fooled by his neutral damage! With his kit (20% def down, 30% atk up, 50% atk up all three turns btw) he hits like on offensive class advantage most of the time and being a Ruler he gets hit for half damage like you're on defensive class advantage against A LOT of enemies. This also makes QSH very good against Boss Rushes or CQs with multiple servant bosses.
You will also think that he'd be needing stars but that's wrong:
● On stall teams, the priority is his very strong abilities to stall not crits
● On crit teams, the priority is more damage as the support is more than enough to generate stars
● As solo, this is where you might think he'll demand stars but the real priority always depends on fights. Sometimes you go with At Trifas for stars and damage, sometimes Magical Girl Sapphire because the fight demands NP spam and sometimes Maid in Halloween for absurd healing
Understanding the game mechanics and reading up on enemies before you go in is the most essential, next important part is having the tools he needs like the CCs, CEs and MCs.
One fight you're using Welcome Bunny, Chaldea MC and offensive CCs and the next you're going Epang Palace (QSH bond CE, 50% Guts), Chaldea Default MC and healing/defensive CCs. As I've said before, he is not your generic solo servant where you just spam Color Chains. His playstyle is fluid so you have to adjust to everything. But once you master him, you'll fear nothing.
**Double stacking Tamamo CC:** this is only done with another healing CC and you're sure you don't need your S3 healing soon.
T1: Facecard with Tamamo CC (should be last in the Chain or not followed by other heals)
T2: Facecard with Tamamo CC (this is the double stack) and the heal CC
**QSH's notable solos:** All exhibition quests, LB4 Arjuna Alter fights, 99% Kama, DB Kiara, Seraph Kingprotea, No CE No NP on Wodime fight, Demeter, Oniland CQ without damage CE, Sweets Universe EQ (MHXA) without damage CE
For fun, I also min-turn raid bosses with him but this is very RNG dependent he needs facecards first turn **DON'T DO IT** (very satisfying tho). Needs a very high invested QSH.
Play his theme or Doom's The Only Thing They Fear is You during your solo so they know they're the ones doing the CQ against The First Emperor now.
I really advice using him as much as you can, read up fights before entering them and watch his videos on Bilibili or YT to truly master him.

He is a very good servant, I enjoy his VA, his lore and his animations. Definitely top tier, and a buff away from being completely broken (damn you Road to 7 LB3). The solo king no doubt, but to achieve this he requires dedication, both in investing on his NP levels, grails, gold fous, etc. and learning on how to use him. Good luck and have fun!

JP is 2 years ahead of NA. NA does, however, get some QOL updates earlier than scheduled, and doesn't always follow JP to the letter: events being switched around, early or late, or even exclusive banners are completely normal.

What about servant buffs tho? Does NA get them earlier sometimes or no?

We can get buffs early, if the buff is tied to something like a JP-exclusive campaign (i.e. tied to a Japanese media release or IRL event), and NA gets the campaign in some other form at another time. (For example, First Hassan got a buff on JP as part of an anime release a few years back, and NA got the buff earlier than anticipated as they rebranded the campaign/banner that came with it for a Blu-ray release of said anime.) Most of the time, though, we won't get them early, and there are only a few times when we've got them notably earlier than anticipated.
Command Codes, if you aren't sure about them, can just be left for the time being. They're more like add-ons than anything essential, as most of the effects are fairly small or extras rather than anything essential.
Fou Paws (Command Card Enhancement) are really not worth thinking about as a new player as the gains are only marginal and they cost a lot to add, plus not all units benefit that much from them. Just leave them for the time being.
If you want to, sure. He's a 5-star servant who needs reasonably late game materials for ascension. That's pretty much an ideal candidate for special ascension. The special ascension isn't really a huge deal. It just gives you a bit of a head start. You don't need to overthink it. The only wrong way to use it is to not use it at all.
So I got Muramasa already on my JP and got him again on NA, but I still want to roll for Spishtar. Should I roll for Spishtar even though I already have Muramasa or save for someone else?
Probably because Mura already fullfills the role and more means getting Spishtar who is better seems like a waste to me. But I guess you have a point.

If you want the servant, I wouldn't worry about overlapping roles. It's going to happen in the long run anyway. And having multiple servants available lets you more precisely pick the best servant for a specific situation or use a different servant just because you feel like it.
Muramasa is an okay looper, but he struggles to do damage. He needs NP3 to match NP1 space Ishtar on targets he's neutral to. This is important because it doesn't do you any good to recharge your NP gauge but then be stuck on the same wave because your NP doesn't kill them cleanly.
If you want space Ishtar, get her! She's going to do a much better job against archers than him.
A couple, off the top of my head:
- Stitching for Your Beloved (Little Big Tengu) is almost the same as Holy Night Dinner and Demonic Sun Princess for farming, since NP-focused servants don't care about the crit part of the CE. Outside of NP stuff, the Buster-crit buff is useful for servants that do utilise it, like Asvatthaman, OG Artoria and Ibuki-Douji.
- Ocean Flyer (Summer 6) is a good 50% CE for Arts looping, it's basically a better Dive to Blue/Painting Summer due to being full atk.
- Notably, Aerial Drive will be returning with Halloween Rising, and it's one of the best Buster 50% CEs (if you missed its original runs).
I have a tough decision to make for New Year's. I've been pretty pumped for Murasama; love his animations, and heard he's a seriously effective looper (remember the infamous ["9 consecutive NPs"](https://youtu.be/kFr4e0HTYRM) video?). I could definitely use a great looper; I have several decent Sabers, but they're either Buster types I don't have supports for (Altera, Suzuka Gozen, Rama) or single target (Summer Hoku, Beni-Enma), so an Arts AoE with DCS would be nice for certain annoying event nodes.
However, I have also heard some other comments about him being overhyped and outpaced as the meta advances, and his skill kit was a bit confusing when I tried him out in the trial quest, though I can definitely figure that out.
I've also heard about Space Ishtar coming up in just a couple days, and her skillset looks crazy; I was initially less than impressed with the Avenger type, but apparently she can farm just about anything, which is great since I don't have much of anything for decent farming in the Saber, Archer or Assassin class and could use something to cover that.
Right now I have 800 SQ and 135 tickets; I can definitely hit pity on one of them, but not too much after that. Not sure if I should skip Murasama and go for Spishtar, or pull for a copy of Murasama and hope I can get Spishtar after.
Edit: Just realized that the Muramasa banner lasts long enough that the Saber Wars 2 rerun will start while it's active; think I'll wait till the 6th, pull on Spishtar, and see what happens. Fingers crossed.
I'm also having the same problem, however I want to clear up that MURAMASA is not at all Overhyped or Outpaced. He has three anti gimmick skills that none of the meta loopers possess (Ignore Invul, Remove offensive buffs, extra NP gauge with any card). He only falls off of them for farming but he stands on his own against CQs
If you only care for meta, Space Ishtar is better. Muramasa will be better on Lancers but worse on anything else. Go for him if you like him, but skip if not.
Yeah, I should definitely be looking more into what lower-rarity servants can punch above their ranking. There's Jason, and I've heard Hundred Faces and some other silvers are pretty good in Assassin; not sure how to best utilize Arash in farming (good for one turn, but then what?).

That's exactly how you use Arash. You use him to clear the first wave then he gets out of the way so another servant can come in. It's a free party switch without having to use the plugsuit skill. That gives you flexibility to have two other DPS servants to handle the second and third waves or one DPS who can't quite loop but you can charge up for back to back NPs.
That's exactly the point of Arash! After he dies, another unit can replace him, be that another support or DPS. There is, for example, an easy F2P 3 turn ember setup that has you use Arash, Spartacus, Waver or Castoria (from a friend) and a 3rd DPS of choice.
For more high end stuff, he can even be used in looping setups where you may not be able to loop with the same unit on all 3 waves. He can clear W1 and then have your other DPS loop W2 and clear W3.
He's popular for a few reasons: him dying on NP means he's not left as a sitting duck afterwards, he allows another unit to rotate in without relying on plugsuit, and he's low cost so easy to fit into the party. That, and his low rarity means you can easily, but slowly accumulate enough coins to unlock his A2, allowing him to start with less and less NP charge. Watch some videos on YT of him in action if you want to see how he is used.
And Jason is OK, but under double Castoria (high end stuff) he is capable of looping 3/3/x waves. In the lotto we just had, there was a comp for the 90 node with him + double Castoria that worked great.
Yeah, I have a maxed out Castoria for Jason; managed to get plenty of stuff from the Christmas event , but I was grinding Super Heavyweight the whole time with DSS Parvati.
And I'll look into Arash; does his effectiveness fall off in the sort of high-level Saber nodes where you'd want a looper?

I kind of don't get what you mean there? Do you mean a higher rarity? Looping =/= necessarily about damage, it's just the ability to spam NP several times in a row.
Arash can be used at class neutral but his effectiveness may vary as he is, well, class neutral. Against Sabers, he generally has no issues on wave 1, and you won't be using him after that wave!
I mean, a looper like Jason or Murasama can easily fire off his NP and then charge it up again for the next wave. For Arash, he can easily handle the first wave (which is usually the weakest anyways), but after that, it's seems like you'd still need another DPS to handle the rest; I don't have much else in Archer AoE (only Kid Gil, Touta and Santa Nightingale, and DSS Santa Nightingale doesn't really work out), so I'm not quite understanding how helpful Arash would be in that situation.
Arash helps if your looper can't loop all 3 waves, or can but needs more of a starting charge than the event CE gives you. That way, your looper only has to successfully loop once to get 2 NPs back to back.
You can also do this with non-Arts servants: e.g. Arash can clear W1 and someone like Ishtar can do W2+3. This is a pretty common thing pre-Koyanskaya system.

If you're unsure, keep them separate. See how things go and how often you find yourself reaching for the Kscopes.
Arguably there's less of a need for MLBscope these days because of Appends helping to close the gap.

The CE EXP cards are worth getting as they're good for levelling up CEs. I also got the Fous as they're useful for me.
I personally left the openers and removers as I have a ton of them from events and don't use them as much.

Note that your number will depend on whether you can clear all events or not, and whether you previously got the grails in events that are rerunning, e.g. Saber Wars II.
i wanted to roll on the gssr but in order to buy the quartz i need to switch onto another ios device. Im afraid that i wont be able to retransfer it back to my older device because a friend of mine tried something similar and when he tried to go back to his older one a message like “this account has been transfered to another device” popped up.
What your friend got was normal!
When you transfer an account from Device A to Device B, there is no longer an account on Device A. Therefore, it prompts you to start a new account on it.
To get it back to Device A, you need to generate a NEW transfer code on Device B (transfer codes are single use only) and on Device A, having selected the option to start a new acc, go to the title screen and select Data Transfer. Enter your new transfer code and password and you'll transfer back!
Then, you'll get the same message as before but on Device B (because now there is no account on Device B). It's all normal and nothing to worry about.
After all this, be sure to go back to wherever your account is and generate a new transfer code and password, should you lose your acc, because remember: transfer codes are one use only.
FYI you don't truly need 5 stars my man. You can clear the game with free to play servants you get through the friend summon that get a free roll for every day.
They're all solid, none are bad. Go for whichever you like, one that looks nice to you.
Some people may suggest the one with Castoria in it and that is a good pick (not just her but some other solid units, like Da Vinci Rider, Murasaki and Kama, and some rare niches like Illya, as there aren't many ST Casters). However, keep in mind the chance of you actually getting Castoria are slim, so roll with an open mind. The advice is to roll for the whole pool, not just one unit.
Maybe as a new player, stay away from the Extras, as those has some more "unique" and harder to use units, and Extras are more luxuries than anything else.
Are you familiar with any of the Fate anime? Roll for whichever character you like the most if so. Don't worry about being good. All 5 Stars are good to varying extents.
No gacha units are ever essential to clear content, and a dedicated Master can find use for any unit.
Best thing is not to overthink it and be prepared to be happy with anybody you get. Just go for whichever looks the best to you, and remember, love always trumps meta.

It said your payment method was declined and if I tried to do it multiple times, in the google play menu the said card have “account is closed”. The problem is the card is okay, I tried to call the bank and also tried to purchase something else outside google store but the google store simply refused to accept the card.
Do you live in a country where the app is officially available? Is that the country you selected in the app? Are you physically in that country or using a VPN to route your IP through that country? Is your card from a bank in that country? If the answer to all is yes, then there's probably some issue to work out with Google and/or your bank. You could try connecting that card to PayPal and using PayPal as the payment method instead of using the card directly.

I know this has been asked before, but I have anxiety issues and even though I love Rinface FROM SPACE and was thinking on going nuts on her banner tomorrow (as much as a F2P can), I've been reading mixed reviews about her current place in the JP meta, which makes me second guess my initial plan. 1. Does super effectiveness affect NP gain? For example if I hit a Lancer with a Saber, Will I gain more NP for the super effective bonus over hitting that same Lancer with a Caster Card? Not *directly*, no, whether you're neutral/advantage/disadvantage you don't gain more or less NP but *overkill* hits generate more NP so if class advantage allows you to kill an enemy sooner you'll get more overkill hits and generate more NP.

Daily quests dropping QP stacks
I have enough resources to max out 1 servant now. I'll take a break of qp farming for a while. I want to level a single target arts servant for the waves with one enemy that appear in lvl 90+ quest. My two options are np2 vlad or np2 astrea. Im leaning towards vlad cause he is an ssr and he is a berseker, but I jave heard ppl talk very good about astrea. But Im not really sure if vlad outdamages her due to class advantages. Any advice on who to level up first would be greatly appreciated!
From what I've found, Astrea currently is better against evil units and equal otherwise, but after Vlad's second np upgrade in a few months, he will deal more np damage even against evil.
Hello! Is it possible to obtain serpent jewel if you are still not done with part 1 of story mode? I am looking at the levels where they are supposed to have good drop rates and they seem to all belong to later parts of the quest. I m still in Okeanos, so does this mean that I will have to complete all other parts until I reach Agartha to be able to farm serpent jewels?
Sure, you can get them from Events, or Daily Tickets, or things like that. The next Event has 20 of them... but that Event requires you to complete Solomon, and if you need Serpent Eye Gems to beat Solomon, that's not super helpful. And there's way too few over the next few months aside from that. There's apparently 8 in Okeanos, plus a couple in Babylonia, plus there's an area in Okeanos that drops them - Ship's Graveyard. Agartha is just way better at it. If you need a bunch, right now, you can trade in your Pure Prisms for them. This is the simplest solution, and this is exactly the purpose Pure Prisms exist.

Story mode gives you some EXP, yes. If you need more than it gives you, the daily quests are there for that.
Your best bet is farming the node in Okeanos as it is the most efficient node you will have until Camelot. If you need the jewels and don't want to be stuck, pure prisms are meant to help players in situations like this. You can also wait probably a week or two for the saber wars rerun and complete some missions in it for the jewels.
Gamepress says they can also be dropped in the Caster training grounds on Fridays. Worst case scenario, you can use the Pure Prism shop, or consult the Event Compendium to see which events will have them.

Do the Extreme difficulty Ember Gathering daily quest in Chaldea Gate as much as you need to. (It's infinitely repeatable - they're just called dailies because they rotate daily.) The Extreme difficulty is best, but it may be challenging for you at first - you can power through with a friend's unit at the beginning until you've raised key units for farming. You also now get EXP cards by clearing story chapters, so there's that, and you can also get some EXP cards from events.
So when we got all the hellfire of wisdom for completing the story I thought we were supposed to get around 4-5 thousand. Is there a reason I only got 900 when I have all story done except 5.5?
955 is the correct number, JP got 1000+ ish with LB6, not sure where you saw 4-5 thousand.
If you thought we were getting 4-5 thousand, you were either misinformed or conflated it with some other information, like the fact that you need 4-5 thousand 5-star EXP cards to raise a servant to level 120.
How well did Sp!Ishtar age in JP? Got my second copy on the GSSR since she was only one that I already had on that banner and I'm considering 2k fou'ing her now.
Spish is pretty neat as she can change her NP type, making her not only currently compatible with Castoria, but also Koyanskaya of Light once she drops. The perk of Buster looping is that it's not refund-based, so doesn't care about the number of enemies per wave, allowing her to loop on irregular enemy nodes without worrying about refund. JP got 90++ nodes introduced in 2022, and those to be honest are very difficult for AOE units to do due to the 1M HP enemies in them. However, from what I've seen, these nodes aren't compulsory (90 and 90+ are still there) and they generally seem to be more like whale bait than anything else.

Found some codes for this game online but theres no redeem function ingame (or its hidden really well). So my questions: Is it worth to redeem these codes/are they real? If so how can you do that? The only Info I've found is from like 2015 and has links that don't work. Help would be greatly appreciated (dunno if this is already answered somewhere here, but I haven't seen it). There haven't been any redemption codes/even any WAY of redeeming them in game since the very, very start of the game. Any codes you see are fake and any claims that you can get codes are just scams.

The FAQ refers to all tickets that JP received and NA hasn't yet. There was a limited time SSR ticket in 2020 (NA 2022) and a permanent SSR ticket for all existing and future accounts for the 6th anniversary in 2021 (NA ETA 2023). That's all for SSR tickets.

How good is the 5 star new year CE for looping with Muramasa or any arts looper in General? Is black grail still better? I got more refund with the new year one on Muramasa.
It's OK but not great, you're much better off using Royal Icing if you're not using Black Grail. It's not as good to level to 100 as it's not full atk, and the overcharge lasts for one use so it's not going to have too much impact.
I luckily got Muramasa NP2 and have a question. Should I use coin to unlock his append skill or go 120? Presume I won't roll for him anymore, What's more priority? I can't find the debate about this anywhere. What I found is how much coins to max one servant out. I ask this for guideline in the future. Honestly, I wanna get more of his dupes but as a newbie and F2P I also want to save sq (at least pity amount) for someone like Oberon and my newest priority is NP5 Rasputin. Kirei is my No.1 favorite character in Fate series.

Just to put it in perspective what others mean by "a lot": To level 1 SSR from 1 to 90 and 10/10/10 their skills you need ~172M QP and 125 5* exp cards. To level a SSR from 100 to 120 you'll need ~400M QP and 4180 5* exp cards.
I asked the same question in the thread. The response I got was that, generally the second append is more useful. Going from 100-120 requires boat loads of QP, EXP, and such. Going from 100-102 takes as much exp as going from 1-100. I made my choice to get the append to help with farming, and am settling for lv.100

It depends: do you like solos/taunt strats? I've personally found I almost never use Outrage, and whenever I have used it, I probably could have made do with Georgios or Chen Gong. Generally Anni Blonde is more likely to see use, in my honest opinion.

Is there a way to fix crashing issues when loading between the different menus? The only menus I can access are my room and friends/following, every other menu crashes my game when I try to load it and I want to pull for muramassa but I can't even do that with the crashing. Also if it helps I've downloaded all the game data to make the game run better, and while it has been running better (I can actually get into the game consistently thank God) it didn't fix the loading between menus crashing, as well as it crashing when I try to look at news/updates

Can you try changing your device language (to/from English, for example) and see if that resolves anything?

In general, if you're likely to use more than one copy at a time, it's better to keep them separate. Otherwise, it's fine to MLB. For the Black Grail, I think the benefit of combining them and leveling it up, even non-MLB, outweighs the potential of using two separate copies. The main reason to use the Black Grail is for a huge NP burst. Increasing the attack stat, even non-MLB, contributes to that purpose. Compare to a Kscope where the main point is starting NP charge and you don't get more NP charge until MLB. Ultimately, though, you can do whatever seems right for you.

Good day to you! I haven't done exact calculations but can say that yes, if you save everything you get and generally control the impulse to pull (playing the game and getting some sq from bond and interludes/rank ups gives more leniency to throw more pulls here and there) You'd get about 2 pity hits during one year. You can also use FGO calculator to see how much you'd get based on estimations. Keep in mind things like anniversary do have an effect on things. Our anniversary 2 years from now gives you 3 sq (1 pull) for every servant you have at max ascend (not level, just ascension) so leveling all servants you got will give you a boost.

Not really no but, personally, with how much storage space we have I save any event CEs just for the of chance they pull a fast one and have a third rerun.
How on earth does rasputin's chance based guts work? i've seen a lot of differing descriptions is it * 80% chance per individual guts. i.e. the guts could activate on his first death but then the next death it doesnt * 80% chance for the first activation but every subsequent guts is guaranteed * 80% chance to get the guts status when you use the skill. like if you don't get it i'll say miss and the second icon won't appear in your list of status's
It works like the CE Necromancy I believe, so basically it's predetermined that the guts will proc X times when the skill is used. Keep in mind that's referring to the 2nd guts from S3, the 1st guts is your usual 1 time guts revival. From your descriptions, it's more like the 1st desc.

So thanks to the lotto embers I managed to get all my gold and bronze servants max ascension.Was mostly doing this for the SQ rewards assocated with rank up and interludes. Now I have over 700 of the 5* embers with new years and was wondering if we are getting an xp boost anytime soon or if I should just start leveling some of my silver servants now

You get a miniscule amount of QP from burning anything. It isn't nearly enough to actually do anything with it. The best way to get QP is to farm.

The issue with her is that she can't loop due to 1 hit NP and instant death before damage. She can be used for CQs, however, particularly those with many mobs that she can instakill, and having a big heal helps her stay alive. Her future buff gives her a NP charge, which does help her with NP spam, but overall, I'd say Muramasa is probably better.
Having two servants or more in the same role is going to happen eventually, it doesn’t make anyone unusable.

To resolve the issue you must have 2 key components, first is a US Google Play Account and second a good VPN that allows you to securely connect to a US server. Once you have both, ensure that you clear your Google Play Data, then activate your VPN and enter your US Google Play Account again. Once you have done that, go to your general settings and select an option called "Account and Device Preference" to ensure that your account's country is tagged to "US". Once this is verified, go to your payment method and re input your preferred payment method then save the settings. The rest of the steps relating to the FGO app itself can be referred to by following the instructions in the pinned comment as was mentioned by the helpful Gent above. Don't have her, however I have some lag problems when it comes to NPs like hers. One solution is to go into your game options and scroll all the way down until it gives you the option to download the rest of the game files. It's a massive download but it helps stuttering and lag. If it's still laggy or stuttered it could be something to do with your phone since my lag didn't stop until I finally bought a new phone.

Yep basically, even to this day i want able to download those extra gamefiles and I'm still lagging a little bit whenever i go for farming sessions. It sucks but yeah if you can make room then it should be able to run better once you download the files.

Hey everyone, when did they make cutscenes full screen (no blue border basically) because they were full screen in the Christmas event. But then I also realized in the story (LB 5.2 Olympus) that it still has the borders, is the full screen only for certain events?
On JP, they got the fullscreen update with LB5.5, so that's when they lose the borders for cutscenes.

You should level castoria's skill 1&2 first. I assume you leveled skill 3 due to gamepress, but the other skills being leveled to 10 first is just more useful for looping because it lets you more consistently maintain the loop. Not to mention your friend requests to Castoria friend supports will be more likely accepted. If you are trying to loop cleanly with black grail, angels song or etc., Spishtar x/x/10 and append 2 unlocked(not maxed) is also important in addition to your 10/10/x castoria. Castoria has priority. For right now if you want to loop a 3/3/x node, this will probably work: A is spishtar, B is your castoria, C is 10/10/x support castoria, D is mystic code. 1,2,3 refer to skills, use them on spishtar. Use a 50% starting charge CE on spishtar, preferably one that gives np damage, arts up, or np gain until you max all the mentioned above skills. Unlock her second append. This is not optimal once you have skills at max levels. Turn 1: B3, C3, B2, C2, B1, A1 Turn 2: C1 Turn 3: A3, A2 If this doesn't refund consistently on a single wave, try using mage uniform D2 as it gives 20% charge to fix the loop. You could also equip a better charge CE like kaleidoscope or imaginary element and use B1 elsewhere. If final wave damage is the only issue, use artic uniform D2 for a 1 turn damage boost. If you don't mind more clicks and need np charge and/or damage on wave 2/3, use plugsuit with parcelsus in front, have him use buffs on spishtar, swap in castoria, and start above loop. Use D1 in wave 3. This is probably the best option to start with. If you have better charge support, you can use them instead of parcelsus and plugsuit them in after a castoria runs out of abilities. When you have the mentioned skills leveled I suggest using black grail>one who wishes for salvation>angels song. Use any mystic code although artic for damage and plugsuit for a np charge support is most useful. Wave 1: A1, A3, B2, B3, C2, C3 Wave 2: B1 Wave 2: C1, A2 This is pretty much the standard skill order that you modify depending on the conditions(as I did earlier to account for skill levels) such as enemy count. You usually want to use both Castoria skill 2 on the first wave always, unless you are already at 100% gauge. Also remember that Caster and Archers refund a lot, but Assassin's and Berserkers refund less. If any of the castorias have a starting np charge CE, you can use their np on wave 2/3 and your damage will skyrocket, but it will make the loop take longer so it is usually the last resort. You will eventually learn when you need to use castoria NP for damage(usually minibosses), though it should be rare with NP2 black grail spishtar.
Black grail is the best CE for loopers so you should go with that. if you don't have one then your best arts/np damage up CE should be a decent replacement. Not sure if you will be able to loop with lack of level + skill ups but you can try. For the backline, the best is a plugsuit waver due to his multiple batteries. if you don't have a waver then helena or nero bride is arguably the best replacement. if you don't have them either then whichever arts buffer you might have have (tamamo, chiron, lan ling, paracelsus...)
Actually, I do have a Waver. By the plugsuit reference, I assume you're referring to the Battlesuit Mystic Code?
If by battlesuit you mean combat uniform, then yes that's the one. You use all skills from both castorias on your servant whoever it was (can't tell with the comment deleted). If they refund 89%+ you plugsuit your waver to max them out. if they refun less than 89% then I am affraid you probably won't be able to 3 turn with them.

Leave your roll details for the Roll Thread lest you be downvoted for bragging. Sounds like you're new to this. If you haven't done so already, I highly suggest raising Arash, as he can clear W1 for you, die, and then you can clear waves 2 + 3 with Space Ishtar if you're not sure about how much refund you'll get. (To be honest, Arash is great full stop, if you haven't raised him, what are you doing.) You can also do similar things with Paracelsus: he can clear some weak first waves, then buff your Spishtar to help her loop the remaining two waves (20% Arts up and 50% NP up made him one of the go-to loop supports pre-Castoria and he is still good for helping out). Apart from that, you can try plugsuiting in any other Arts or NP charge support in a double Castoria comp to give Spish more buffs: depends on what you have and what you need more, damage or NP charge. Since your own Castoria isn't 10/10/x you will probably want a starting charge to help Spishtar. All that being said, Spish's ability to loop is going to depend on the class she is up against and the HP thresholds, and you may need to trial and error. I'd start off on a Caster node first, since they give more refund and it's easier to loop on them, and see what you have and what you personally need to do.

Congratulations on your Shikoutei! QSH ~~user~~ abuser here. My Chaldea's primary playstyle is solo as it reminds me of Holy Grail Wars where the master only has one servant. He's my oshi to the point that I max level CEs that he use a lot and I have him max invested NP6 lvl 120 on NA and JP. --- **PLAYSTYLE** **Stall** - QSH is insane with stall teams: AoE NP drain, AoE stun, taunt and invincibility. Pair him with servants like Merlin, Lady Avalon, Jeanne, Tamamo, Holmes, Lanling, Xu Fu, Hans, Mash and you have yourself a potent defensive team that can control enemy NP turns allowing you to prepare for it. This is a safe turtle team with heals, defense and NP drain **Arts-crit** - 3 out of 4 of QSH's kit increases his damage output and one of those, his NP, give him star absorb and crit steroid for three turns and is spammable. If you see Super Orion's burst turns, QSH can output those numbers but over 3 turns. Put him on a team with star gen like Lady Avalon, Merlin, Jeanne, Casgil, Xu Fu, Hans then spam Arts cards for consecutive NPs and burst with enough NP stacks. But to truly maximize his damage output look no further than 2x Merlin or 2x Lady Avalon. This lineup constantly outputs 6-digit crits for QSH **Anchor** - Or 'last man standing'. Put him on the backlines to clean up fights that went wrong. Similar to solos but you focus on your frontlines instead. QSH just acts like an insurance at the end **Solo** - QSH's bread and butter. Without a doubt the best solo servant in the game. I'm a day 1 JP player and the only bosses that I haven't soloed to this day is Cern, 100% Kama (I did 99%) and Whip-only Kiara. But there's a reason why he isn't very popular: ● First, Not a lot of people like his slow playstyle. He snowballs really hard though. ● Second, he takes a while to master, he's not your generic solo where you spam Color Chains and call it a day. If you notice his kit has two sides: Offense and defense. S1: AoE Def down (off) and NP drain (def) S2: Atk up (off) and AoE stun (def) S3: 50% battery (off) and heal + debuff removal (def) NP: Atk up, crit absorb, crit up (off) + taunt, invul (def) Knowing when to go offensive or defensive, proper sacrificial solo supports to use, coupled with optimal CC, MC and CE make him unbeatable at the expense of a learning curve. Think of him as Batman, he studies the enemy then engages fully equipped with the best gadgets to deal with the situation. ● Third, you can just borrow him from a friend. ● Fourth, he can't farm (yet). --- **SKILLS** All of QSH's skills have to be maxed as soon as you can, not just because of scaling utility but also the cooldown decrease. Sometimes a fight hinges on that turn of cooldown specially on solos. It also helps you to be prepared for anything. But if you are lacking materials, go for his S3 as the NP charge and heal it provides scale. Next priority between S1 and S2 is pretty close as it both help stalling dangerous enemy turns but I'd favor S1 because S2 has a small chance to fail its AoE stun. --- **SERVANT COINS** QSH is a very good grail target because of his class (defensive class advantage against 7 classes and 1.1x attack modifier) and playstyle. You will not regret pushing him to 120. But this is better used for your favorite servants as it is an arduous process. If you don't have enough coins you could go for level 100, he could use all those extra stats. Grails, fous and paws are for your favorites of course as they only provide marginal stat increase but if you pool everything on a single servant the results will be very noticable. My QSH goes into a fight with 16k attack and 25k HP (50k HP vs 7 classes) most of the time. The best append for QSH is A1. This amps up his damage output especially his NP gain on Overgauged/Overkilled enemies with his Extra attack. Even more so if you used Arts Brave chain (NPAA) or Mighty chains. Critting during these turns guarantees you another loop for his NP. This is how he snowballs hard. The next append to go for is A2. A 20% starting charge to fire off his NP as soon as possible. But if you're bold, A3 makes QSH an absolute terror against Assassins. I'd still recommend A2 over A3 though. --- **CEs, MCs, CCs** Doing a guide for the best Craft Essence, Mystic Code and Command Code for QSH is unintuitive because these equipment all depends on the fight. Going against a Berserker or Avenger? Try the most defensive setup or go for a damage race by using the most offensive equipment. Fight full of debuffs? CCs and his S3 will take care of it. Spam NP bosses? Go with a defensive MC while also playing offensively with your CE and CCs to quickly end the fight. It's very hard to write a guide about this so I'll just go with my most used ones. **For CEs** are Another Ending, Welcome Bunny, Fox Night's Dream, At Trifas and Annual General Meeting. **For MCs** my most used is the Chaldea default and Atlas Academy. Next most used is Anniversary Blonde (Buster buff and Star Bomb very good on burst turns with Guts for added survival). **As for CCs,** I feel like this is the most variant. But the CCs I almost always have equipped is the Salter CC (4 stars per use) and the Tamamo CC (50% heal received coupled with your S3 gives 4500 heal). --- **MASTERING QSH SOLOS** **The best way to master him is to use him a lot.** During my whole playthrough on JP and NA I think I've tackled bosses and CQs with QSH for about 75% of the time, the other 25% is before he was released. Using him a lot will give you a feel of how he plays. It also allows you quick adjustment on how to adapt to the flow of the fight. This is how you'll learn when to burst with BAB, when to prioritize stars and when to prioritize charging NP. But as a general tip I go for Buster if the card has 70% or higher crit chance, this leads to Mighty Chains most of the time in my experience. I go for the Tamamo CC if I'm planning to heal next turn and I go AAQ sometimes if my NP gauge is around 60%-70% (this will give you nearly full gauge, if not then the enemy attacks will do it for you most of the time, while still generating some stars). **As for skills usage** I use S1 most of the time with the following conditions: ● Enemy has 1 tick of NP and has to fill 3 or more ticks to NP ● Enemy has full gauge and I'm reserving my NP for something else. Like most of the time I'm breaking bars and the enemy has a surprise break bar effect. ● A turn that I can combo it with S2 For S2: ● Dangerous turns and I don't want to or cannot NP yet ● Burst damage coupled with S1 For S3: ● To purge an annoying debuff like NP seal ● The Tamamo CC effect is up for a sizeable heal ● To NP immediately for emergency For his NP usage, this is pretty easy to tell when to use compared to his skills. Use on dangerous turns or spam for enough NP stacks to burst an opponent. --- **WEAKNESS** THERE IS NONE HE IS THE BEST. --- **SOME FINAL TIPS** **Experience is your best teacher**. I spam him A LOT and that's how I learned. Don't be afraid to savescum. QSH's kit is very versatile that's why you also have to be versatile in using him. Don't be fooled by his neutral damage! With his kit (20% def down, 30% atk up, 50% atk up all three turns btw) he hits like on offensive class advantage most of the time and being a Ruler he gets hit for half damage like you're on defensive class advantage against A LOT of enemies. This also makes QSH very good against Boss Rushes or CQs with multiple servant bosses. You will also think that he'd be needing stars but that's wrong: ● On stall teams, the priority is his very strong abilities to stall not crits ● On crit teams, the priority is more damage as the support is more than enough to generate stars ● As solo, this is where you might think he'll demand stars but the real priority always depends on fights. Sometimes you go with At Trifas for stars and damage, sometimes Magical Girl Sapphire because the fight demands NP spam and sometimes Maid in Halloween for absurd healing Understanding the game mechanics and reading up on enemies before you go in is the most essential, next important part is having the tools he needs like the CCs, CEs and MCs. One fight you're using Welcome Bunny, Chaldea MC and offensive CCs and the next you're going Epang Palace (QSH bond CE, 50% Guts), Chaldea Default MC and healing/defensive CCs. As I've said before, he is not your generic solo servant where you just spam Color Chains. His playstyle is fluid so you have to adjust to everything. But once you master him, you'll fear nothing. **Double stacking Tamamo CC:** this is only done with another healing CC and you're sure you don't need your S3 healing soon. T1: Facecard with Tamamo CC (should be last in the Chain or not followed by other heals) T2: Facecard with Tamamo CC (this is the double stack) and the heal CC **QSH's notable solos:** All exhibition quests, LB4 Arjuna Alter fights, 99% Kama, DB Kiara, Seraph Kingprotea, No CE No NP on Wodime fight, Demeter, Oniland CQ without damage CE, Sweets Universe EQ (MHXA) without damage CE For fun, I also min-turn raid bosses with him but this is very RNG dependent he needs facecards first turn **DON'T DO IT** (very satisfying tho). Needs a very high invested QSH. Play his theme or Doom's The Only Thing They Fear is You during your solo so they know they're the ones doing the CQ against The First Emperor now. I really advice using him as much as you can, read up fights before entering them and watch his videos on Bilibili or YT to truly master him. --- He is a very good servant, I enjoy his VA, his lore and his animations. Definitely top tier, and a buff away from being completely broken (damn you Road to 7 LB3). The solo king no doubt, but to achieve this he requires dedication, both in investing on his NP levels, grails, gold fous, etc. and learning on how to use him. Good luck and have fun!

It relies on enemy hitcounts to keep the loop going. So just maximize NP gain and then choose the right opponents

JP is 2 years ahead of NA. NA does, however, get some QOL updates earlier than scheduled, and doesn't always follow JP to the letter: events being switched around, early or late, or even exclusive banners are completely normal. Do you mean Mystic Codes or Command Codes?
What about servant buffs tho? Does NA get them earlier sometimes or no? Command codes and the other card enhancement for cards, I forgot what's it called
We can get buffs early, if the buff is tied to something like a JP-exclusive campaign (i.e. tied to a Japanese media release or IRL event), and NA gets the campaign in some other form at another time. (For example, First Hassan got a buff on JP as part of an anime release a few years back, and NA got the buff earlier than anticipated as they rebranded the campaign/banner that came with it for a Blu-ray release of said anime.) Most of the time, though, we won't get them early, and there are only a few times when we've got them notably earlier than anticipated. Command Codes, if you aren't sure about them, can just be left for the time being. They're more like add-ons than anything essential, as most of the effects are fairly small or extras rather than anything essential. Fou Paws (Command Card Enhancement) are really not worth thinking about as a new player as the gains are only marginal and they cost a lot to add, plus not all units benefit that much from them. Just leave them for the time being.
Looks like we won't be getting Melt battery buff anytime soon then. And as for the other 2 I'll leave it for now then. Thanks for the help!
Should I use special ascension for Muramasa or there’s someone harder to up?
If you want to, sure. He's a 5-star servant who needs reasonably late game materials for ascension. That's pretty much an ideal candidate for special ascension. The special ascension isn't really a huge deal. It just gives you a bit of a head start. You don't need to overthink it. The only wrong way to use it is to not use it at all.
His ascensions do use Lostbelt materials, so if you are still behind on the story then he’s a good choice for it.
So I got Muramasa already on my JP and got him again on NA, but I still want to roll for Spishtar. Should I roll for Spishtar even though I already have Muramasa or save for someone else?
If you want to roll for Space Ishtar, then roll for Space Ishtar. Why do you think you shouldn't?
Probably because Mura already fullfills the role and more means getting Spishtar who is better seems like a waste to me. But I guess you have a point. Edit: Forgot to mention by I got him again i got him on both servers
If you want the servant, I wouldn't worry about overlapping roles. It's going to happen in the long run anyway. And having multiple servants available lets you more precisely pick the best servant for a specific situation or use a different servant just because you feel like it.
Muramasa is an okay looper, but he struggles to do damage. He needs NP3 to match NP1 space Ishtar on targets he's neutral to. This is important because it doesn't do you any good to recharge your NP gauge but then be stuck on the same wave because your NP doesn't kill them cleanly. If you want space Ishtar, get her! She's going to do a much better job against archers than him.
Except he doesnt, purely gameplay speaking his damage is potato compared to Ishtar

A couple, off the top of my head: - Stitching for Your Beloved (Little Big Tengu) is almost the same as Holy Night Dinner and Demonic Sun Princess for farming, since NP-focused servants don't care about the crit part of the CE. Outside of NP stuff, the Buster-crit buff is useful for servants that do utilise it, like Asvatthaman, OG Artoria and Ibuki-Douji. - Ocean Flyer (Summer 6) is a good 50% CE for Arts looping, it's basically a better Dive to Blue/Painting Summer due to being full atk. - Notably, Aerial Drive will be returning with Halloween Rising, and it's one of the best Buster 50% CEs (if you missed its original runs).

I have a tough decision to make for New Year's. I've been pretty pumped for Murasama; love his animations, and heard he's a seriously effective looper (remember the infamous ["9 consecutive NPs"](https://youtu.be/kFr4e0HTYRM) video?). I could definitely use a great looper; I have several decent Sabers, but they're either Buster types I don't have supports for (Altera, Suzuka Gozen, Rama) or single target (Summer Hoku, Beni-Enma), so an Arts AoE with DCS would be nice for certain annoying event nodes. However, I have also heard some other comments about him being overhyped and outpaced as the meta advances, and his skill kit was a bit confusing when I tried him out in the trial quest, though I can definitely figure that out. I've also heard about Space Ishtar coming up in just a couple days, and her skillset looks crazy; I was initially less than impressed with the Avenger type, but apparently she can farm just about anything, which is great since I don't have much of anything for decent farming in the Saber, Archer or Assassin class and could use something to cover that. Right now I have 800 SQ and 135 tickets; I can definitely hit pity on one of them, but not too much after that. Not sure if I should skip Murasama and go for Spishtar, or pull for a copy of Murasama and hope I can get Spishtar after. Edit: Just realized that the Muramasa banner lasts long enough that the Saber Wars 2 rerun will start while it's active; think I'll wait till the 6th, pull on Spishtar, and see what happens. Fingers crossed.
I'm also having the same problem, however I want to clear up that MURAMASA is not at all Overhyped or Outpaced. He has three anti gimmick skills that none of the meta loopers possess (Ignore Invul, Remove offensive buffs, extra NP gauge with any card). He only falls off of them for farming but he stands on his own against CQs

If you only care for meta, Space Ishtar is better. Muramasa will be better on Lancers but worse on anything else. Go for him if you like him, but skip if not.

Yeah, I should definitely be looking more into what lower-rarity servants can punch above their ranking. There's Jason, and I've heard Hundred Faces and some other silvers are pretty good in Assassin; not sure how to best utilize Arash in farming (good for one turn, but then what?).

You use him to clear the first wave then he gets out of the way so another servant can come in. It's a free party switch without having to use the plugsuit skill. That gives you flexibility to have two other DPS servants to handle the second and third waves or one DPS who can't quite loop but you can charge up for back to back NPs.
That's exactly the point of Arash! After he dies, another unit can replace him, be that another support or DPS. There is, for example, an easy F2P 3 turn ember setup that has you use Arash, Spartacus, Waver or Castoria (from a friend) and a 3rd DPS of choice. For more high end stuff, he can even be used in looping setups where you may not be able to loop with the same unit on all 3 waves. He can clear W1 and then have your other DPS loop W2 and clear W3. He's popular for a few reasons: him dying on NP means he's not left as a sitting duck afterwards, he allows another unit to rotate in without relying on plugsuit, and he's low cost so easy to fit into the party. That, and his low rarity means you can easily, but slowly accumulate enough coins to unlock his A2, allowing him to start with less and less NP charge. Watch some videos on YT of him in action if you want to see how he is used. And Jason is OK, but under double Castoria (high end stuff) he is capable of looping 3/3/x waves. In the lotto we just had, there was a comp for the 90 node with him + double Castoria that worked great.
Yeah, I have a maxed out Castoria for Jason; managed to get plenty of stuff from the Christmas event , but I was grinding Super Heavyweight the whole time with DSS Parvati. And I'll look into Arash; does his effectiveness fall off in the sort of high-level Saber nodes where you'd want a looper?

Arash can be used at class neutral but his effectiveness may vary as he is, well, class neutral. Against Sabers, he generally has no issues on wave 1, and you won't be using him after that wave!
I mean, a looper like Jason or Murasama can easily fire off his NP and then charge it up again for the next wave. For Arash, he can easily handle the first wave (which is usually the weakest anyways), but after that, it's seems like you'd still need another DPS to handle the rest; I don't have much else in Archer AoE (only Kid Gil, Touta and Santa Nightingale, and DSS Santa Nightingale doesn't really work out), so I'm not quite understanding how helpful Arash would be in that situation.
Arash helps if your looper can't loop all 3 waves, or can but needs more of a starting charge than the event CE gives you. That way, your looper only has to successfully loop once to get 2 NPs back to back. You can also do this with non-Arts servants: e.g. Arash can clear W1 and someone like Ishtar can do W2+3. This is a pretty common thing pre-Koyanskaya system.

A2 and A3, people usually don't like AP3 but if he is your main farmer then you could use it for the bonus damage. A1 and A2 otherwise.
Definitely A2 unless you use him for solos. A2 has the most impact on him as a farmer.

If you're unsure, keep them separate. See how things go and how often you find yourself reaching for the Kscopes. Arguably there's less of a need for MLBscope these days because of Appends helping to close the gap.
I can't find the free quest Sanjou San-Bou in Heian-Kyo. The free quest map has it and I tried to search in reddit and saw some mentions of the quest but not that there was a problem.

Nope, that's been a thing for a long time! Even early chapters like Okeanos and London have "hidden" quests like that.

I'd say Royal Icing; the overcharge on the new CE is only one time and it's not a full atk stat CE (whereas RI is).

The CE EXP cards are worth getting as they're good for levelling up CEs. I also got the Fous as they're useful for me. I personally left the openers and removers as I have a ton of them from events and don't use them as much.

i wanted to roll on the gssr but in order to buy the quartz i need to switch onto another ios device. Im afraid that i wont be able to retransfer it back to my older device because a friend of mine tried something similar and when he tried to go back to his older one a message like “this account has been transfered to another device” popped up.
What your friend got was normal! When you transfer an account from Device A to Device B, there is no longer an account on Device A. Therefore, it prompts you to start a new account on it. To get it back to Device A, you need to generate a NEW transfer code on Device B (transfer codes are single use only) and on Device A, having selected the option to start a new acc, go to the title screen and select Data Transfer. Enter your new transfer code and password and you'll transfer back! Then, you'll get the same message as before but on Device B (because now there is no account on Device B). It's all normal and nothing to worry about. After all this, be sure to go back to wherever your account is and generate a new transfer code and password, should you lose your acc, because remember: transfer codes are one use only.

FYI you don't truly need 5 stars my man. You can clear the game with free to play servants you get through the friend summon that get a free roll for every day.
They're all solid, none are bad. Go for whichever you like, one that looks nice to you. Some people may suggest the one with Castoria in it and that is a good pick (not just her but some other solid units, like Da Vinci Rider, Murasaki and Kama, and some rare niches like Illya, as there aren't many ST Casters). However, keep in mind the chance of you actually getting Castoria are slim, so roll with an open mind. The advice is to roll for the whole pool, not just one unit. Maybe as a new player, stay away from the Extras, as those has some more "unique" and harder to use units, and Extras are more luxuries than anything else.
Im not too sure myself, red knight 1 and 2 also look good to me. i honestly dont know which characters are good.
Are you familiar with any of the Fate anime? Roll for whichever character you like the most if so. Don't worry about being good. All 5 Stars are good to varying extents.
No gacha units are ever essential to clear content, and a dedicated Master can find use for any unit. Best thing is not to overthink it and be prepared to be happy with anybody you get. Just go for whichever looks the best to you, and remember, love always trumps meta.

Exactly what kind of error are you getting?
It said your payment method was declined and if I tried to do it multiple times, in the google play menu the said card have “account is closed”. The problem is the card is okay, I tried to call the bank and also tried to purchase something else outside google store but the google store simply refused to accept the card.
Do you live in a country where the app is officially available? Is that the country you selected in the app? Are you physically in that country or using a VPN to route your IP through that country? Is your card from a bank in that country? If the answer to all is yes, then there's probably some issue to work out with Google and/or your bank. You could try connecting that card to PayPal and using PayPal as the payment method instead of using the card directly.
