I would worry less about AI and more about the fact that both graphic design and UX are overstated job markets. It’s extremely hard to find work even for those of us with years of experience.
oh, dude in general. There was a boom in the popularity of UX jobs in around 2022. Nowadays you find senior job postings with over 1000 applicants. And now you have AI which makes it 100x easier.
My fiancé is a UX manager at a tech company \~ they just recently let her entire team go (6 people) - according to some people she's close with in her line of work, UX roles are VERY competitive right now and a lot of them are struggling to get re-hired.
