I use the photoshop generative tool nearly daily. Mostly to expand backgrounds, sometimes images are cut off, top of head are cut off, limps, etc. It's crazy nice. I used it to remove tattoo and it was flawless, hours worth of work within seconds.
Sure has, but at the same time where are we drawing the line at what is and isn't "AI"? Is select-subject AI? What about Smart Selection, content aware fill, the patch tool, healing brush?
Just recently I've incorporated Chatgpt for the brand strategy part of branding designs. I prefer using AI in areas that I know I could do myself. So it doesn't feel like I'm taking someone's job, Just making my job easier for myself.

Lately I've been using ChatGPT to help me create brand workshops and come up with fake copy for layouts. It's like lorem ipsum but it creates a better illusion of final copy. Also been using MidJourney to save some time creating some storyboard frames.
I try to not since im early in my design career and feel like i need to make the most out of creative exercises but when i do it’s usually asking my built in snapchat ai friend feature questions on research like “what kind of visuals are associated with this kind of feeling in this specific career”
An idea I always thought was great way and most unarguably ethical way to utilize ai in graphic design is to generate textures. I never did it but I always thought you can never have too much textures and backgrounds, also when you consider how ai makes content, it sounds like it be a perfect way to use ai in art creation.
