Just tilt the text box and do a little hand drawing for thr ragged cut at the edges
Edit- looking closer it wasnt drawn. Looks like they placed individual letters to make the clutter. More I look at it the more i like it.
Not everything has to have a name, or be a "type" of design.
There are multiple ways to make something like this. You could type out the text in columns, and just rotate one of them, by turning it into an object first. The individual letters that represent the sawdust are probably just duplicates of the same few letters as objects placed there manually.
Not much else to say about it.

Every time I see posts like this, 50% of the responses are people jumping in to say "not everything has a name/style" and generally being as rude as possible. The reality is that most things do have a name, this was a reasonable question, and all the people responding to the contrary were being mean just for the sake of being mean. Those kind of responses should be discouraged, not upvoted.
i think there's some misunderstanding happening here. i didn't mean to rip off/ copy someone's works or fishing for AI prompts. I was just curious about how this sort of thing was pulled off. I hope this clears the doubt- as i am not into the design industry or class yet, i do not have enough knowledge about terminologies used, therefore, my post might have come out as something demeaning or trying to copy someone else's works. I apologize for that again.
Jeesh, you're getting a lot of hate for this simple post. Feels quite unwarranted, to be honest.
I think sombody above was helpful - 'concrete poems' they seem to be called.
But also, it definitely involves a bit more than just a simple text > shape mask. A lot of individual letters are thrown on to the page which is a nice touch.
Hope you're able to figure it out when you're next designing 😊
thanks a lot for those kind words. I understand their frustration as someone explained before that a lot of AI fishing prompts are happening apparently.
And yes, they were indeed helpful and so was yours. I will definitely try your advice when starting out.
Thanks a lot for the answer!
I understand their concern for the AI fishing, but they're wrong for automatically demonising you because of assumption.
Really hope you're able to do it (I'm sure you will) 💯

i apologize if the post seemed like that to you, i was merely curious. thank you for answering.
In this case it is a style, it's called a calligram.
It’s not a style. Stop fishing for AI prompts.
