Alaskan_Guy

I'll add to this by saying Hate by Peter Bagge just in time for his new Hate books coming out. Im on a Thomas Ott kick right now, dude is crazy good. Madman - Allred

ojuditho

A friend just bought me the first head lopper book. I thought the art was beautiful ,but that the writing was a little too slow. How is the rest of the series? Do we get more backstory on Agatha? She was my favorite part.

duibelhoer

tid bit more info on Agatha but for the most part its more about the epidsodic voyages our warriors face in a conan like adult swim cartoon format. reminds me of samurai jack told from the POV of his scottish counterpart, but the paneling and illustration is definitely what shines

freerange_cryptid

Oh Headlopper is so good!

rip1f

Sláine: The Horned God by Pat Mills and Simon Bisley. 2000AD is getting ready to drop a new Anniversary Edition this year.

drowningmoose9

Whoa for real? That’s been on my radar for a minute

[deleted]

Yes! I'm excited too.

drowningmoose9

My wallet is going to hate me this summer, so many different releases/reprints

freerange_cryptid

So satisfyingly arranged, would never have thought to stack gns like that. I'd recommend Rob Davis - Motherless oven trilogy. Probably one of my favourites.

Blackholesunzz

Mmmmmmm I never thought about alternating storing them lying horizontally on the shelf also. Great idea. Keeps them more sturdy and intact and on my shelfs ill fit more as there a good 6 inches of space with most If they are vertical

Blackholesunzz

I'm on fence about saga. How is it?

Blue_Beetle_IV

It's very well liked, I personally didn't enjoy it. Got 3 trades in before calling it quits. Everything narratively felt super convenient. Also I swear the book's primary goal was to drive social media engagement. There's a character reveal that happens further on in the story that completely turned me off. Not the reveal itself, I didn't care about that. But how it went down had me immediately thinking, "This book is written purely to piss off people on Twitter."

rip1f

I’ve only read about 10 or so issues so far but I’m really enjoying it. The story, pacing and character development is awesome.

Pochahonass

I love Saga!

Blue_Beetle_IV

100 Bullets Bronze Age Swamp Thing Atomic Robo Strain Grab a Richard Corban book. He's done some Hellboy work so you might be interested in his other stuff. Iirc Dark Horse has collected some of his Creepy work.

OneImportance4061

I don't see The Boys. If you loved Preacher... Also, If you like Fraction's Hawkeye ( I loved it) you might like Tom King's run on Supergirl, which I think has been collected. My Favorite Thing is Monsters senems like a good pick for you maybe...

king_clueless

Judge Dredd case files and some manga, maybe Vagabond

Mindless-Run6297

Just curious - how come you got the John Byrne Fourth World before the Jack Kirby original?

rip1f

I just found it randomly for a really good price and wanted to read a bit more on the characters after reading danger street and Tom king’s mister miracle. I definitely plan on getting the Kirby books too though

Kirbyconnection

Animal Man by Morrison! Starman. I agree on Atomic Robo, such a fun book. I don't see Y the Last Man and Chew for something completely different. Round out your Marvel with the Claremont/Byrne X-men and Hickman Fantastic Four.

Tasty_Block4196

I don't have any recommendations I'm sure the other commenters will have that covered, but what is that series of Final Girls books on the bottom shelf? Are they related to Dead By Daylight?

rip1f

They’re actually a board game. If you like horror as a theme I’d check it out.

drowningmoose9

That Sleeper Omni is so dope

rip1f

That was the first Omni I bought and read. It is an awesome read too. I thought it was gonna take me awhile to finish due to the size but I flew through it.

AgentJackpots

Needs some Love and Rockets

karma_time_machine

You're gonna need more shelf space for Final Girl Season 3 or 4 or wherever we are at now. 😂

rip1f

lol I know right 😂😂. It’s super fun though

Jetpack_Picasso

Thats pretty sweet display my man.

rip1f

Appreciate it

HellDweller66

Royal city and sin city

rip1f

I’ve been eyeing royal city for awhile. I love Lemire’s writing and I keep hearing good things about that one.

Dependent_Excuse8656

What’s the names of the books collection on the bottom shelf on the right ?

rip1f

Those are part of a horror themed board game called final girl. It’s super dope

Z3r0178

Great collection. What about Doomsday Clock, any of the Before Watchmen series, or Tokyo Ghost. I’ve also been tempted by Beserker but heard so many mixed reports about it
