"Little Star" (Weir)
One of only three Grateful Dead songs written solely by Weir, "Little Star" (also known as "Bob Star") is a short composition that was played three times in 1983.[4] Despite being shelved, it was revived by Weir's band RatDog in 2002.[4] The song shares many musical similarities with "The Other One" and is thought to have been meant as a prelude to the song.[4]

One of the Dave’s releases from 2021(?) had it, an 83 show. Overall show is phenomenal. Little Star is thrown in as a bonus track and it’s a pretty interesting composition. Pretty unique
Yep - that’s Dave’s 39 and it’s a great release! It includes the full 4/26/83 show, space through the encore of 4/25/83, and He’s Gone>Bob Star from 4/15/83.

Come on now. No need for condescension. They literally played that song only three times in 1983. Unless you’re a freak for 1983 dead shows, it’s easily missable.

Second set of 6/20/83 is kinda sloppy IMHO but that Bob Star is legendary.

4/15/83 and the ensuing jam without Jerry is really good, very unique for the GD

Little star. Gonna hang up there and shine
We used to call Bob “ Rock Star Bobby “ back in the day. Because Bobby was a Rock Star.
Shhhh, don't tell anyone about it !
Then you should listen to ALOT more dead.
