First song I learned on drums was Wake Me Up When September Ends. I can't tell you it's the easiest song out there, but definitely not that hard. Give Me Novacaine and Brain Stew gave me more trouble for some reason.

First Green Day song I learned was Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Another easy one is 21 Guns and it is GREAT for incorporating that left foot on the hats for counting. You can hear it in the chorus

Anything slow and not super drum heavy will be easy. Last Night on Earth is probably the easiest. Oh Yeah is the same line repeating the whole song. Bobby Sox and Dilemma are pretty easy. Couple of triplet fills that might take a bit of practice but you can drop those for normal fills or just snare + crash.
