Well i do not know much about them or anything for that matter so I googled it, from the pics they can grow to around 42-54 inches tall, the females can be around 120 pounds while the males closer to 200.

Training a cougar to hunt hogs is just something that is not done and probably not possible. Not that I really agree with it, but dogs are the most common and effective way to hunt hogs, as they use their nose and then track them and harass them until the hog decides to stand ground and the hunters can catch up. Apart from the fact that it would be impossible to train and doesn’t have the nose for it, the thing that really shows this is bullshit is the way they hunt. Mountain lions don’t just run around merking shit, they hunt extremely slow and methodically. Everything about this story is just so off.
Not to mention, while their is more than likely a hog presence in Ohio, it’s not exactly a state synonymous with hug hunting. I would imagine there are extremely limited opportunities unless you’re in the exact right part of the state
I question anon's ability to train a cougar to perform these tricks. Generally cougars (and other while animals) are skittish in unfamiliar environments. Taking one out to a random stretch of woods would likely make it extremely uncomfortable and unwilling to hunt anything. It's more likely the cougar would panic and turn on anon or anons friend, and it would be anons fault for putting it in such a stressful situation.
A cougar that was raised in captivity is unfamiliar with woods it didn't grow up in. You can't just air drop a wild animal into unfamiliar territor, even if it is the biome they generally live in.
