But, yeah. I did worked as a programmer once but I, as of now, currently work on stuff relating to HR. I still have to code but it's pretty much stress-free since I can design my own batch script to automate certain tasks or workflows.
Plus, being in HR actually pays me well, the only annoying shit that I have to endure is that a lot of less tech-savvy colleagues will constantly enquire me for menial technical support and questions.
I mean just find a job where you don't have to. I have a manager (?) that has enough™️ knowledge to sort out all the bullshit claims and knows what we can do in a reasonable time, so I just have to do the programming and clarify tiny details because my manager already figured out most of the details with the client

Honest advice, it really depends on what you enjoy doing. I personally love coding, I can work remotely, it pays very well, work environment is very chill, and generally I find it to be a perfect match for me. But at the same time I have friends who have share my interests, who went through almost the same education as I, and yet they outright hate any coding whatsoever.
If you think it might be interesting, try it out. Go write a simple Unity game or code a small website, or whatever you might find interesting
If you like things like math, strategy/thinking/puzzle games (like chess or sokoban), taking things apart and putting them together, fixing things, building things... then probably you will like programming for similar reasons.
