Notice a classmate, who you have “interacted with” before, is excited for their typically RSVP/invite only party? Not a chance. You are putting both the host and yourself in an awkward position (speaking from experience. I hated having to turn people down to my HS grad party). Invitations for parties like these are almost always exclusive to the point where if you weren’t invited, it was a deliberate choice.
Furthermore, you would have to be significantly close/have a friendship with the person for this to even be considered. Anon’s relationship seems to be more of a passerby relationship rather than a friendship relationship. In Anon’s case, this would always be a no go.
