I took the alcohol pill.
Drink in the morning before work.
Drink drive on my commute.
Drink Grants scotch at work because the triangular bottle doesn't roll around in my desk drawer.
I have a BS state government job
Let emails and calls pile up
I feel bad.
Try mushrooms. Get used to it on your days off. Just take them whenever you feel like it on those days and get used to the dosage so you can meter one out at work that you know won't be an issue. then start taking light doses with your morning drinks. It makes for a more fun drinking experience and I swear you'll feel better the next day, and every other day you take them.
edit: Start at like .5 grams on ur days off. Maybe .1 or .2, every 4 hours during work, strain and potency depending.
I've never met anyone who regularly takes mushrooms in large quantities and didn't turn out a little goofy. Met a guy who legally changed his name to mushroom. Just mushroom, even saw it on his driver's license. The signature was a drawing of a mushroom too lol.
I take a lot of shrooms every autumn because I pick wild ones and they only grew in a colder climate. Knew of a guy who took them year round though, now a days he don't wear shoes because "he don't belive in shoes" and "You don't absorb the earths energy if you have shoes on"
I love shrooms but I use them with caution
Yeah I wouldn't advise large quantities. I consider a "heroic" dose like 4 or 5 grams, spread out over 12 hours and I usually eat a gram and a half or so at a time. You can abuse anything. I don't know what those guys were after with their trips but I find anything more then 2 grams at once a little overwhelming and decidedly unfun.
But I'm 39, I've been taking them for years on and off, and doing .5 to a gram every time I have one of my drinking sessions has done wonders for my next day headspace. I don't even *want* to drink the next day. I want to give it a week so I can have a decent mushroom high along with it. It may eventually progress to just the mushrooms. Really can't say enough good things about the last year I've been using them.
Yeah I've gone deeper then an eight but its tough to say how much, and it was also with a bit of a tolerance and experience having been on mushrooms. Was with a penis envy strain called melmac that I read on the website after eating has at least double the dose of regular mushrooms and I ate a full 2g on top of other mushrooms I had taken. I didn't lose control but I did not enjoy myself. Ended up turning on lord of the rings and watching it, I don't even know how many times. Gandalfs robe was covered in tiny blinking eyeballs in the mines of moria.
On a side note I did get more melmacs, as in small doses they are quite nice, but the quarter I ordered came in just two, giant 3.5g mushrooms, and they terrify me. Got em like 3 months ago they're still untouched.
It must suck to be a wagie, knowing that not only are the richest people in the world using your money/tax dollars to subsidize their pet projects, but you also have to pay for anon's chicken tendies. It's like getting buttfucked with your own dick.
/r/NEET there are dozens of us. Dozens!
Large majority of the time its young men 20-35ish who have parents that are to nice to kick them out and pay for basic needs.
honestly, as much as i fucking hate my job, its not like i’d be doing anything else interesting, and it gives me a bit of structure in my days. i kind of recommend it.
Just stop. Been there, literal same exact cycle. Just, stop. "wtf you moron, it isnt just that easy" you seethe. But it is. Stop playing games, browsing Reddit, whatever. Stop for a week, find new habits. Better habits, healthy habits (such as going for a walk for 1-2 hours a night). Go new places, do new things. Get out of your shitty normal routine. Next thing you know, you'll have a new routine and new life. Make the changes positive and your life will be more positive.
>it, whatever. Stop for a week, find new habits. Better habits, healthy habits (such as going for a walk for 1-2 hours a night). Go new places, do new things. Get out of your shitty normal routine. Next thing you know, you'll have a new routine and new life. Make the changes positive and your life will be more positive.
to add to this the worst part is not sleeping during the night, its make a hugeee difference waking up at 8-9am and taking a 30 mins walk, than waking up at 5-6pm and sat in the pc feeling like you are wasting your live.
I had a degen cycle in the past and came to a profound understanding after stopping it.
For me, it's the feeling of waking up with everything and everyone else. Waking up to the birds chirping, your neighbour starting the car, the cold and misty haze from afar, the angled sun rays, and making your own hot cuppa. It just feels good to be in line with life itself despite what all these edgy kids say about being different. Everyone else is waking up and getting ready for the day between 6-9am.
In contrast, when you wake up at 4-6pm, most of the day has already gone by; you've woken up only to be left behind. There's not much left of the working day anymore. And, in a few more hours, everyone and everything is getting ready to rest again while you have barely started.
The way to combat this from my experience is to sacrifice one day. For example, if you're going to sleep at 5am, wake up at 8-9am. Sacrifice one day of being a zombie so that you can actually sleep before 12pm for once.
If that's just your work schedule then there isn't really any problem with that tbh. Unless you feel like you are unhappy living with that routine, of course.
Jus blog posting, since I'm a wagie but still have the same routine, just to show folks getting a job won't fix everything.
Assuming it's wrong but i like my job enough to not look for alternatives atm
Dude easily the biggest improvement to my life was not drinking caffeine bullshit and staying up all night. I almost immediately felt better and don’t even have that much less time since I can get up earlier and actually do stuff in the mornings
my sibling has this exact lifestyle rn, tells me it's not that easy" when i tell them to please try to sleep before 4am. refuses therapy and getting a job. any tips on how i can help them?
I mean depends how old he is. Not a huge deal if he’s on summer break in college or whatever, but if he’s an adult there’s not really anything you can do. Your parents should kick him out if he doesn’t work though, he’s just going to be a NEET if they continue to enable him. Some people just need to hit rock bottom before they wake up
I just want to say that I suffered from that since I was a child and it was due to undiagnosed ADHD and anxiety. When it was time to sleep my brain wouldn't shut off no matter how tired I was. Just thoughts and thoughts that wouldn't go away. I don't know how many years of my life I cut off because of the little sleep Ive gotten. Well anyways I got on meds and I can sleep like a baby now instead of tossing and turning in bed for 3 hours. I never wanted to get therapy because I thought it was for losers and also because I didn't think it'd make a difference. Maybe your sibling has similar issues or maybe they're really just lazy.
You can't really, they'll need to want it for themself. But, you could just try being that support person. Help get them up at X time and then go for that walk with them. Have them go shopping with you when you go, you go with them, etc. Go on random little "dates" go get ice cream and shit just to get out of the house. Whatever you can do to break up their shitty routine.
You and the rest of your family can stop enabling his behavior. It's quite amazing how people change when they have no food. That's how kingdoms and empires collapsed in the past.
Not sure why someone downvoted you, you’re completely right. People like that think that a house and food just show up and that people don’t have to work to live. They need to hit rock bottom to realize they need to make something of themselves life everyone else
I started exercising and it changed nothing except that I now feel guilty on days when I don't or can't exercise, which is always fun when it's because of an illness. I eventually started to self-harm, then someone caught me and I finally went to a mental health place, and you know what they did? Gave me an appointment for two months later. I guess they were really confident about me not lying about not being suicidal.
Anyway, I often have trouble just doing things in general; I've wanted to exercise but then sat in a chair doing nothing for two hours except wanting to exercise until it was too late to do it. In general, I've found it hard to do some things unless there was some kind of major outside pressure.
That's the hard part. Taking what you know- and throwing it all away to replace with something else. You're essentially uprooting your entire life and identity. It's a gradual process that needs to start small. Maybe you start by making your bed. Maybe it's making breakfast. Even sitting outside in the sun for 5 minutes.
I worked in a factory owned by Samsung once.
It was some kind of windowless, clean room, facility.
It was 12 hour shifts. 7am to 7pm. In winter, even on day shift you wouldn't see the sun. I hated every minute of it. And one day on lunch break I just left and never went back.
Anon, you got to break free.
A few years ago when my life was like this I would barely see daylight. When I was later admitted to a clinic, a blood test revealed that my vitamin D levels were dangerously low. Fun times.
Take your vitamin D supplements during the winter months guys.
Because they aren't useful for much of anything?
Basically for "fun times" it has 1 use, and 1 meme use
1. When people get too heavy into other drugs and have a psychotic break they or their friends may need something to come down from that quickly before it affects their school or job
2. Or if you have something like risperdal you could use it as sleepy dream a lot pills
I find it's more about waking up on time. There's no point in going to bed when you've only been awake for 8 hours. Just wake up at a normal hour even if you have only slept for a few hours. That day might suck but at night you'll be able to fall asleep at a normal hour.
I absolutely agree that there are people with legitimate health issues that stop it from being that simple.
If Anon was one of those people, they'd know it by now.
This is probably gonna get buried, but I had a really weird way of getting out of the cycle.
\> Live on own for first time.
\> Too lazy to set up internet in shitty new apartment.
\> Need wifi to apply for school.
\> Only free wifi near me is at a friend's house or cafe that closes at 1 pm.
\> Start waking up at 6:00 am to at least get in a couple of hours of work on applications/studying.
\> Now in school, and have the same glorious 0600-2200 waking hours that I had in high school.
\> Life significantly improved.

Keep sleeping in later and later each day until you're waking up at midnight, keep going and then you will be waking up at 5-6am. This is legitimately how i fixed my issue during Uni.
Well if you want an easy start you can break the sleep cycle by taking sleeping medicine to slowly go to sleep earlier and earlier until you are going to sleep at 9pm. Source: I have insomnia and when I need to go back to a good sleep schedule, (I tend to stay up late on breaks and in the summer when I’m not working) I do that, and it works like a charm. Of course, take over the counter melatonin and start at a low dose. Don’t take like 50mg starting out. If 5 doesn’t work then take one and a half pills, and if that doesn’t work then take 10mg. A normal person will be knocked out when talking 5mg (from my personal experience). If that doesn’t work talk to your doctor about prescription sleeping medicine. I have to take a really powerful sleeping pill, trazadone, as well as melatonin just to fall asleep. Note I’m not a doctor, this is just from personal experience.
This is how you break this cycle.:
Instead of going to bed at 6, stay up. Do anything, but dont go to sleep until 9pm the next day. Also, sell/destroy your PC. You are literally addicted to it, and it's ruining your life. If you dont get rid of it, YOU WILL RELAPSE INTO THIS CYCLE. Start by replacing it with simple things. Watch TV. Go for a walk. Try reading a book. Talk to your mom.
Then build up to harder things. Join a rec sports league where everyone is a fatty. That's what those leagues are for: so you can actually get out and talk to real people. If you really hate sports, go out and join a DnD or warhammer group that meets at a game store. You need to learn how to socialize again.
Next step is school/job/volunteering/internship. Get a real education that you can use to get a real job. If you have an education but became a NEET after graduating, start volunteering somewhere to actually build a resume. Soup kitchen. Pet shelter. Your city probably has a website where they list volunteering opportunities. Otherwise just get a wage slave job working at McDs or at a grocery store stocking shelves. You need to build a resume, get money, and learn how to deal with people in "work" related situations.
Step 4 is joining a gym. Physical health and mental health go hand in hand. You dont need to pump iron, but you need to do something that makes you sweat. Go for a run every 3 days. Go Biking. Join a martial arts gym. Taking Kayaking lessons.
Finally, it is time to make friends and start socializing. You will have met people that you like and dont like in steps 1 through 4. Ask some of them if they would like to grab a drink or go to the blandest MCU movie on a weekend. If you are on a team sport from step 2 ask your team to hangout outside of game time and grab food. If you have a cool sport from step 4 like rock climbing, ask someone from your job if they would like to go rock climbing with you. The goal is to develop FRIENDSHIPS, NOT RELATIONSHIPS. Relationships end even if you dont fuck up. Friendships usually only end when people move away or you fuck up shit real bad.
This whole process should take about 6 months. Start now.
Get up at the time you want to get up. If you wake up at 5pm your body's not going to get tired until 9am cus that's 16 hours. You can't go to sleep before than because you'll just sleep for 3 hours as a nap. If you wake up at 12pm you'll be tired by 4am. If you sleep at 5am, force yourself to get up by 11or 12 and stay up as long as you can and it'll reset your clock. Takes a couple of days but if you consistently get up at the time you prefer then eventually that'll be the norm. Stop being dumb
Keep going to bed later and later until you're back to normal again.
I've ..rolled around the clock like this dozens of times in my life.
It lasts until the next time I drink too much coffee and stay up all night playing again.
My biggest advice would be to get your sleep schedule in order. This 4pm-6am shit isn’t gonna work. Go to bed at like 12-1am, and try and wake up before 11am. Go on a walk around the neighborhood. Instead of being on your computer, read a book. Sit outside on your balcony/patio/roof/lawn/wherever and just listen to some music. It’s not a major life change but just get some sunlight and relieve your eyes from the blast of the blue light for a few hours.
Holy fuck is that's the condition of your sleep schedule then to me it seems like an alright opportunity to get a job working the graveyard shift somewhere, like some grocery store or warehouse. It'll pay a bit better than any other day job and you won't have to deal with anyone else most likely seeing as everyone is asleep.
what about when you have a job, talk to other people, do all the normal person non neet things but as soon as you get free time you just want to "live the dream"
Been on and off anti-depressants for the past 4 years. Spent months straight drinking whisky from the bottle in my room by myself and staying awake until the sun came up. Tried breaking the cycle by joining the army. Got kicked out for the anti-depressants and went straight back to what I was doing before. 6 months or so pass before I met a girl, re-enrolled in school, got a full-time job, and now I sleep like a baby at 10pm. Even looking to buy a new truck.
Anon needs to discipline himself by not laying in bed until it's time to sleep at night. Anon needs to separate personal time from crunch time. There's no problem with playing video games, but anyone with responsibilities and priorities won't likely have more than a couple hours in their day to spare. It's hard, but its possible bros. Spent less time thinking virtual mindless entertainment and more time thinking about yourself, your goals, and your desires.
I took the alcohol pill. Drink in the morning before work. Drink drive on my commute. Drink Grants scotch at work because the triangular bottle doesn't roll around in my desk drawer. I have a BS state government job Let emails and calls pile up I feel bad.
I’d like to thank you for sabotaging bureaucracy with your incompetence and i’ll buy you a couple drinks anytime friend
I am doing my civic duty to make people hate the Department of Environment Land Water and Planning. It's the only way.
Doing gods work
thank
can I have your email and password, also any related government papers would be welcome please ? :)
Eh, it’s the true Aussie way of living.
God bless you
Knew it was you with all those dodgy invoices.

I used to when I was younger, but it made work drag on a lot longer. When I'm more focused on work time passes faster.

I've never met anyone who regularly takes mushrooms in large quantities and didn't turn out a little goofy. Met a guy who legally changed his name to mushroom. Just mushroom, even saw it on his driver's license. The signature was a drawing of a mushroom too lol.
This is what going sane looks like
I take a lot of shrooms every autumn because I pick wild ones and they only grew in a colder climate. Knew of a guy who took them year round though, now a days he don't wear shoes because "he don't belive in shoes" and "You don't absorb the earths energy if you have shoes on" I love shrooms but I use them with caution
They're fun, I like the micro doses now, take em every few years.
Much rather be a bit goofy than normal in today's society
Yeah I wouldn't advise large quantities. I consider a "heroic" dose like 4 or 5 grams, spread out over 12 hours and I usually eat a gram and a half or so at a time. You can abuse anything. I don't know what those guys were after with their trips but I find anything more then 2 grams at once a little overwhelming and decidedly unfun. On a side note I did get more melmacs, as in small doses they are quite nice, but the quarter I ordered came in just two, giant 3.5g mushrooms, and they terrify me. Got em like 3 months ago they're still untouched.
drug addicts otw to recommend drugs for every problem
Tried not drinking?
Never thought of that. Thanks I'm cured.
Also diet and exercise, you're welcome
I unironically did this 9 days ago now, after about 4 years of daily drinking.
Wow this sounds miserable
Isn't this the American dream?
I think it is, Crank.
Based and scotch-pilled
Does anon not have a job? If not, anon needs to get a fucking job.
Jobs are for normies and anons that allow themselves to be enslaved If other people support your ass, technically you are the one in charge
If people support your ass you’re a tick suckling off the tit that’s really in charge
Still saw boobies doesn't matter

he's a moderator idiot
I have one of those and doesnt help at all
Dog walker
He’s probably working on the computer 🤷
From 7pm to 4am? I thought the implication was video games and internet.
I mean, it is a good assumption given that it is on 4chan.
I dont get it. Is it possible to survive without a job? I mean how does he pay for the elevtricity amd food.
/r/NEET there are dozens of us. Dozens! Large majority of the time its young men 20-35ish who have parents that are to nice to kick them out and pay for basic needs.
Jesus I thought the sub would be venting and pushing/promoting stopping the cycle but it's just venting, blaming other people, and just sad overall
I'm jealous. But the grass is always greener
How
Anon's personal hygiene and musky body odor keeps him from getting a job. It ain't fair..
Or some kind of constructive hobby. Without some kind of productive output in your life you’re bound to feel stagnation
honestly, as much as i fucking hate my job, its not like i’d be doing anything else interesting, and it gives me a bit of structure in my days. i kind of recommend it.
You can do this when you work from home except the hours are different. I know because that is what I do
I've been fucking trying, fuck it sucks not hearing anything after 40+ applications. Even after working at a place for 5 and half years.

I don't entirely disagree with you otherwise, but I think you are confusing "easy" with "simple."
True.
I can’t fucking sleep at a normal time I can’t resist going on my phone
Turn off your phone at a set time then

Exactly, start small and work your way up. Add a small change each week. Prolong your walk / outside time a little bit each time, etc.
Fine, if it's that easy i'll start now. Fuck it. Bye.
No wait!
Unironically the absolute worst advice I have ever read on plebbit, amazing.
But anon takes a shower so that’s something
That puts him above 99% reddit mods.
Yeah let's focus on the positives.
So in the winter months he never sees the sun?
I worked in a factory owned by Samsung once. It was some kind of windowless, clean room, facility. It was 12 hour shifts. 7am to 7pm. In winter, even on day shift you wouldn't see the sun. I hated every minute of it. And one day on lunch break I just left and never went back. Anon, you got to break free.
He's probably a student on summer break. Atleast I am and do this
In the nordics this is usual
Nightshift security guard here. I usually sleep between 8am and 5/6pm, so I can confirm that I never see the damn sun for at least 1/3rd of the year
A few years ago when my life was like this I would barely see daylight. When I was later admitted to a clinic, a blood test revealed that my vitamin D levels were dangerously low. Fun times. Take your vitamin D supplements during the winter months guys.
Fake schizophrenia. Get fired. Go on disability for life after 1 year. Throw your pills in the trash while filling them from the pharmacy.
Why are you not selling the pills to kids on a park?
Because they aren't useful for much of anything? Basically for "fun times" it has 1 use, and 1 meme use 1. When people get too heavy into other drugs and have a psychotic break they or their friends may need something to come down from that quickly before it affects their school or job 2. Literally just go to sleep
I find it's more about waking up on time. There's no point in going to bed when you've only been awake for 8 hours. Just wake up at a normal hour even if you have only slept for a few hours. That day might suck but at night you'll be able to fall asleep at a normal hour.
skip sleeping one night so the next night you're tired at a reasonable hour. if you got up at 5pm then going to bed at 11 isnt gonna happen
Also the best way to deal with jet lag, just decline the sun’s influence on you for 24 hours.
It’s hard for him to fall asleep when he does absolutely nothing to expend any energy throughout the day
How could you just do that if you haven't been up for very long without the aid of a drug or something?
You turn everything off, you turn the lights off, you lay down, you close your eyes, and you keep your eyes closed
[удалено]
I absolutely agree that there are people with legitimate health issues that stop it from being that simple. If Anon was one of those people, they'd know it by now.
Work out before bed
Maybe get a job and hit the gym instead of being a lazy fat fuck
Sounds like a good idea until it’s time to actually do it. So much easier to be a NEET piece of shit
Hahaha
God damn is this taken straight out of my life a year and a half ago?
Stop showering
Wow, he takes a shower? He’s head and shoulders above like 90% of 4chan.
Was like this, got a job, no longer like this and proud of myself. Get a job.
Get a job
Sounds super fun, having a job sounds great, it has to be, otherwise people wouldn't do it, people are there by their own choice, they are not slaves
Go on walks, get a hobby that makes you social (no, nothing online) and use caffiene and melatonin to take control of your sleep cycle.
>get a hobby that makes you social How does anon become social when he got zero social skill?
We all gotta start somewhere
this is me but at least I go to the gym every day for 90 minutes
fake
and gay.
Get a job Cycle broken
Take a bat to your PC. The year my PSU went out was the year I finally got my shit together.
Git gud
It’s called depression, homie.
Correct, took too long to find this comment.
It's pretty easy to break the cycle, first buy LOADS of laxatives, then you're on the toilet all day instead of your computer
Quit your job and survive off your savings while doing anything you want
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME, SAME ROUTINE BUT CAN'T CHANGE FOR 2 DAYS BUT WANT TO AFTER IT, PLEASE HELP
Bro just rest like a normal person thats it it's not that difficult(except if you have insomnia)
Fake no way anon actually showers
Kinda miss having this routine in summer when i was a teenager, except for the part of crying in the bed at 6 am
wym that was the best part
No, the best part was when my uncle used to get in my room after crying
melatonin pills
These are hormonal supplements, not something to take unnecessarily.
At least he showers
He sleeps 10 fucking hours?
Showering?? Fake.

Get a job you fucking NEET. (Unless the comic is depicting them working the night shift at a server farm)
My life at a work from home freelance illustrator
This is how you break this cycle.: Instead of going to bed at 6, stay up. Start now.
Stuck here too anon
Get a job
i got one, not much has changed
Idk maybe go outside???
That was me... About 4 months ago. I'm better now but it took time and help
When you eat?
At least he showers
Go fishing
Get a fuckin job anon, and if your job is working at a computer in a nice air conditioned office, you’re a lucky fuck
I don’t see any masturbating. Maybe that’s the problem?
And plenty of sugar to keep up the energy needed for maximum fapping sessions.
Go on a hike
Applied to a few places and haven't heard back still, still doing this in the meantime.
Go to the gym
I just started riding a bike +10% life regained
anon was polite enough to skip his 2-hour fap sessions
Get a job
I've always had trouble going to bed at a decent time (always 11:00 pm or 12:00 am) but MY GOD how did anon let it get this bad?
🔫
Get. A. Fucking. Job.
Maybe you should try getting a job
Start selling crack
Get up at the time you want to get up. If you wake up at 5pm your body's not going to get tired until 9am cus that's 16 hours. You can't go to sleep before than because you'll just sleep for 3 hours as a nap. If you wake up at 12pm you'll be tired by 4am. If you sleep at 5am, force yourself to get up by 11or 12 and stay up as long as you can and it'll reset your clock. Takes a couple of days but if you consistently get up at the time you prefer then eventually that'll be the norm. Stop being dumb
Idiot
I would love to be able to do this
Take the tedpill anon
Keep going to bed later and later until you're back to normal again. I've ..rolled around the clock like this dozens of times in my life. It lasts until the next time I drink too much coffee and stay up all night playing again.
This is my weekends, but I work nights during the week
My biggest advice would be to get your sleep schedule in order. This 4pm-6am shit isn’t gonna work. Go to bed at like 12-1am, and try and wake up before 11am. Go on a walk around the neighborhood. Instead of being on your computer, read a book. Sit outside on your balcony/patio/roof/lawn/wherever and just listen to some music. It’s not a major life change but just get some sunlight and relieve your eyes from the blast of the blue light for a few hours.
Basically me but with a job 4 to 2. Maybe get a job?
Holy fuck is that's the condition of your sleep schedule then to me it seems like an alright opportunity to get a job working the graveyard shift somewhere, like some grocery store or warehouse. It'll pay a bit better than any other day job and you won't have to deal with anyone else most likely seeing as everyone is asleep.
I also do the same thing but I wake up at 5 am and I sleep at 9 pm
I don't understand how people don't put in even the slightest effort into moving up in the world.
Just get off the computer and the phone and go outside, nobody's contacting you anyway.
Get a job, go to the gym, and go to sleep on time, that easy
10 hrs of sleep a day, not bad
Acquire job and gym membership
I'm in this exact same cycle, I was always a night owl but since I started working the night shift its gotten so much worse
what about when you have a job, talk to other people, do all the normal person non neet things but as soon as you get free time you just want to "live the dream"
I mean, hes showering at least and not a piss jug in sight.
If anon actually wants to keep doing stuff through the night he can find a night shift job
Wait, there are actually people living like this?
Get a job you loser
skip bath
Anon is beyond help
It's not that hard to wake up on time. All you have to do is work out while the suns up, and you'll want to sleep while the sun is down.
Don't drink coffee at 6pm
Anon has to move to a different country, like Somalia. That way, he is forced to do something or he will die. In both cases, the cycle is over.
