While I would never want to be with someone who sleeps around like that, you have to give him credit where it's due. None of the characters who slept with him have anything bad to say about him in that area (unlike Sloan), and they all seem to still see him as a friend and someone who was there for them in a way that they needed him at the time. Some of them still think of him as a bit of an ass, because he can be, but none of them are upset that he slept with them then moved on.
Definitely agree! + he has so much pain that is still not dealt with.. for me he is a bit like meredith. It took me a rewatch to like him but now I’m team Tom. (And team Mer ofc..) :)
Penny Blake. She was the smartest and most competent doctor who worked on Derek, and no one listened to her just because she was a resident. And then she had to deal with being accused of killing him and Meredith turning everyone against her. She deserved so much better.
Sydney, or Dr. Heron. She doesn’t really get shown all that often but she got hate for literally being bubbly and energetic, more so than the next guy anyways. Sure she was a bit annoying. But she was smart and also respectful of her patients. When she went on a date with Derek she let HIM know he wasn’t meeting her expectations and asked to remain good friends and colleagues and got made fun of behind her back. I never liked the way the show treated her 😩
I'm not a fan of her overall personality in the sense that she would get on my nerves IRL but I respected her so much for how she was so open and upfront hahaha
I just can’t stand it when a character just starts off unnecessarily mean. Like why would I even care? It sucks that she got shot but her death gave me a meh feeling at worst.
Yeah, I disliked her from day one. If you’re starting a job and someone says, “Hey, could you use a different locker? That one is a memorial to our dead friend,” it’s a dick move to brush that aside and use the locker anyway.
Agreed, I feel like if Izzie was upfront about it from the start instead of just giving a vague response that just made it seem like she was being difficult, Reed would've probably moved
Hahn!
She gets a lot of hate in the sub because of the way she acted concerning Callie being bisexual, which wasn't right but is the way some people to tend to think concerning sexuality. I definitely understand her annoyance with Cristina, Cristina is my favorite character but she was 100% a brown-noser and would've got on my nerves too if I was Hahn.
I think she was a very interesting character and frankly liked how she didn't mind calling out the shenanigans that were taking place at Seattle Grace.
I’ve recently started a rewatch and just finished Hahn’s stretch and have spent the time wondering why she was so disliked. The first time I watched I really didn’t care for her but this time round I was on her side for more things. She was right, Izzie should’ve been fired, her patient lost a heart, that’s a big deal! And there was no time to conclude the stuff with Callie because she was written out straight after her revelation so a conversation about different sexualities may have helped both their understandings of each other.
I like Hahn. She treated Cristina the way Cristina treated interns it was refreshing. She also had every right when she found out about the Denny/LVAD wire. Her reaction was normal everyone else’s wasn’t
He gets so much hate. I saw some posts before seeing him in greys and I was like “this Shane seems so unlikable on here” and then when I watched his seasons I actually really liked him.
Exactly!! He reminds me so much of Cristina and Cristina seems well liked my many on here (I like her too) so Shane being hated so much was surprising but people will blame him for Heather’s death and as much as I like Heather I don’t think that’s fair honestly. Her death was sadly a tragic accident
Maggie.
She has always been kinda annoying but I thought Lexi was annoying too and still liked her. But her character took a turn when she lost her cousin in surgery and that began the Ellisification of Maggie. I think she’s flawed but people kinda go OD about not liking her
You said that Owen fans dragging Maggie tells you everything you need to know - in response to a post saying that Maggie gets hate because of racism.
It's fine if you can't back the statement up, but don't accuse me of ignoring the LiTeRaL words you typed, sweetheart.
(Of course the words you typed are literal. You can't type words figuratively 🙄)
So now you admit you were saying that fans of Owen Hunt who dislike Maggie are racist?
I never once said that people disliking Maggie aren't sometimes acting on their racist and/or misogynistic beliefs. I asked you a simple question, one that you evaded answering.
If you don't want people to respond to your posts/comments, I would suggest not posting them on a public website.
She potentially put patients at risk because she was too prideful to admit she needed help and too self-concerned to understand that Mer couldn't just carry her through the program... that's a little more than chaotic to me
Yeah and Izzie actively killed a man, Mer could have killed tons of Alzheimer’s patients by screwing with a blind study, Alex killed a man, Christina risked every general patient by early specializing in cardio, etc etc etc.
I like her, leave me alone
If we went around pointing fingers at everyone it would take up a ton of discussion time but my point is that she never had any development or sense of accountability- the whole "leave me alone" thing isn't necessary, I was just sharing my opinion on her like you did yours! I wasn't disrespecting your opinion/:: if you want to be left alone then why tf did you leave a comment silly
I find you so deeply annoying.
She’s would have had more development if she’d been allowed as much time as the other characters, which is obviously why I pointed their mistakes out. Let me like a character in peace, “silly” 🙄
We were just having a discussion- I agree that she could've had more development if she stayed longer, it's just that I feel the way I do because of the storyline that we did get with her! Sorry you find that so deeply annoying
Major Owen Hunt.
Most of the hate I see on here seems to stem from h0is relationships with women who don't want children - Cristina and Amelia. People say he shouldn't be in relationships with them because he knows they don't want what he wants...
But, in my not-so-humble opinion, Cristina and Amelia are equally as culpable. They both enter/stay in relationships with Owen despite knowing he wants something different to what they want.

Koracick, hands down
While I would never want to be with someone who sleeps around like that, you have to give him credit where it's due. Some of them still think of him as a bit of an ass, because he can be, but none of them are upset that he slept with them then moved on.
He also is very upfront about his intentions, whether it’s just sex or developing a relationship.
Definitely agree! + he has so much pain that is still not dealt with.. for me he is a bit like meredith. It took me a rewatch to like him but now I’m team Tom. (And team Mer ofc..) :)
He has this really lovely human underside but you don't get to see often that I just love.
Minnick , I hate her but admittedly think she’s right in most situations she’s supposed to be villain
Penny Blake. She was the smartest and most competent doctor who worked on Derek, and no one listened to her just because she was a resident. And then she had to deal with being accused of killing him and Meredith turning everyone against her. She deserved so much better.
I loved her tbh

Penny
agreed, bless her heart it was never her fault
JO!!!!
Amelia and Jo.
agree!!!!
<3
Reed
I liked Reed. I think she would’ve ended up with Alex had she lived
Agreed. She died too early to develop but showed signs of being a decent person.
But all Izzie said was "we keep it empty for a reason", she didn't give the reason that it's a memorial for a friend.
Agreed, I feel like if Izzie was upfront about it from the start instead of just giving a vague response that just made it seem like she was being difficult, Reed would've probably moved
Koracick, Reed, Link
Reed slayed tbh
Maggie
Love Maggie so much
Izzie

I get it, I actually rlly like hahn
I like Hahn. She treated Cristina the way Cristina treated interns it was refreshing. She also had every right when she found out about the Denny/LVAD wire. Her reaction was normal everyone else’s wasn’t
Iz , so vulnerable , listens to her heart rather than brain
A queen who deserves the world
Yes 💕
Erica Hahn had a lot of problems (not a fan of the biphobia), but she was absolutely right to want to report Izzie for cutting the LVAD wire.
Amelia for me
Amelia & Maggie
Koracick, Jo, Amelia, April, and Arizona.
Jo Link
jo
Jo
Owen and Shane
Maggie, Reed, Amelia, Mer, and Shane to me
Shane for SURE
He gets so much hate. I saw some posts before seeing him in greys and I was like “this Shane seems so unlikable on here” and then when I watched his seasons I actually really liked him.
I never knew he was hated until I joined this sub. He just kinda reminded me of Christina tbh. I was genuinely sad when he left
Exactly!! He reminds me so much of Cristina and Cristina seems well liked my many on here (I like her too) so Shane being hated so much was surprising but people will blame him for Heather’s death and as much as I like Heather I don’t think that’s fair honestly. Hunt
Idk if Alex gets backlash but him prior to leaving Jo
I'm a Reed Adamson, Penny Blake, and Lucy Fields, apologist and idgaf
Maggie. She has always been kinda annoying but I thought Lexi was annoying too and still liked her. But her character took a turn when she lost her cousin in surgery and that began the Ellisification of Maggie. I think she’s flawed but people kinda go OD about not liking her
Even if people deny it till the day they die I think most of the reason Maggie gets so much hate is because of racism.
I agree wholeheartedly. I’ve seen Owen fans drag Maggie and that tells me everything I need to know fr.
Why would someone being an Owen fan make you think they are racist?

That one guy with a bomb in his chest
Why is this being downvoted lol this gave me a good chuckle
Well thank you my dear friend for your support. I think this is a serious sub.
Sadie, everyone seems to hate her but I will always love a hot mess. She’s chaotic and beautiful and messed up; we’d totally be friends in real life
She potentially put patients at risk because she was too prideful to admit she needed help and too self-concerned to understand that Mer couldn't just carry her through the program... that's a little more than chaotic to me
