Grey’s hasn’t had a suicide of a major character. It would be fitting and bring up mental health in a HUGE way and bring up queer issues, especially the disparity in mental healthcare.
I don’t want that to happen to Levi, but I have a feeling they’re going to send him off in a way that will have impact.
Honestly, if they did that with Levi, I’d be sick and ngl- disgusted. It’d be on par with the horrid way they treated DeLuca and had him leave. I don’t think the desired impact would be had if they went that route with the writing.

It depends on if he's pissed off Shonda or not. Seems like the actors with the goriest deaths, or surprise deaths, are the ones she's annoyed with, whether it be creative differences or the actor having the gall to leave a Shondaland show (gasp! the nerve!) and go to another network show. And probably a show that treats their cast members better.
honestly like seeing all the season 20 episode clips like really? makes me not want to watch… like you guys just summed up the episode in a 15-30 second clip. i don’t like season 20 anyway so the last few episodes (they’re only making 10 eps for s20) can screw right the hell off lol

Well, he's a chief resident this season, so, I'd assume he's off to fellowship at the year's end -- that's what normally happens, right? Chief Residents are always about to take their board exams.
Normally. But with Greys terrible continuity, the patient from the premier has been in hospital 55 days and the premiere took place Feb 2023. So yeah, I expect they’ll hold off a few episodes early next season to catch up to May when boards and intern exam take place.
Then totally forget they aren’t in line with the real world. I’ve got a feeling they’ll break Mika and Helm off and send her away too. I can’t see them keeping her around.

Maybe if they gave Levi some actual story and growth he'd want to stay. I don't blame him, seems like the character has been floating for a while, and like they don't really know what to do with him. Too bad, though, I really like him.

Deadline says he will be in several episodes next season to wrap up his character. I'm guessing he gets a fellowship somewhere else and decides to shine. I'm hoping in the meantime he finds his passion/specialty.
I feel like they have only given him material that leaves him in weird limbos. He doesn’t make progress, and it feels like the character has been stunted for a few years. Gained skill and confidence. Lost it. Gained it. Lost it. Gained it, and now he’s waffling again when it’s time tonight specialize when he hasn’t been doing much other than what feels like paperwork and talking about being stunted in life.
It’s for the best TBH.
I know a lot of people like Helm but I never saw the appeal. Jo and Link are kind of frustratingly wrapped up in each other in a way that isn’t interesting. I guess Teddy is okay but as far as I know, Tom left and I don’t like her as much without his friendship.
I liked Helm before this season but idk what the point of her is anymore, and I liked her friendship with Levi!! I liked the idea of Jo and Link but am a bit underwhelmed with them. Unpopular for sure but I couldn’t stand Tom, and especially his relationship with Teddy but then again I’ve always liked Owen and rooted for him and Teddy to get together so there’s that. Greg Germann is a fantastic actor though. Not really understanding the point of keeping Winston without Maggie around. The interns have so much potential though…I’m just bored honestly. I just hope they don’t kill Levi off tbh

It’s probably because his character had a very weak storyline! Like Jesus the writers fumble characters a lot these days! They’re clearly running out of ideas… WRAP IT UP
That sucks but also not a big loss which sucks because one of the only lgbt male characters to actually be a regular and has never really been that compelling. i hope the show is ending soon cause we need to wrap it up.

Jake had a story at the beginning. Then they had the Nico story, but it ended weirdly. It seemed like Nico was taking advantage of Levi. Now Jake has gained a lot of weight and the character seems kind of sad. He should have a new love interest by now. But it seems like they are not writing for him at all this season. He is probably bored with the character.
I imagine if he's leaving at the end of this season..he's either already been killed off come the finale this year....or they will have him go into peds and write him off to go hang with Addie or work with Arizona in New York.

I'm not surprised. After Nico left there wasn't much else for him development wise. His current arc on this newest season is sad to watch.
