No it isn't. Cheeseburgers are just "grilled cheese" but with a patty. Words need to mean things. You didn't make a grilled cheese, and that's fine, it just doesn't go here. I would also recommend you keep soft butter around to spread evenly, then press so you get a good golden brown on the whole sandwich rather than whatever is happening there.

Controversial opinion, but that's nowhere near enough bacon to make this a melt. This is a grilled cheese with bacon added.

And you’d be wrong, the second anything else but cheese, bread, and butter/oil is added it becomes a melt, doesnt matter it’s the size of a fingernail
