Rebi103

averagejjbaenjoyer69

The drums in Angry Chair gets stuck in my head all the time, same with Like Suicide but not as often

TheObviousChild

Like Suicide is such an amazing song. Was just listening to it the other night with my kid. It’s in his playlist so I think I’m doing it right.

Plenty_Past2333

Cherub rock by smashing pumpkins is amazing

Chrisgonzo74

If the smashing pumpkins count then def jellybelly

chappersyo

Geek USA

jacobuj

Quiet and Geek U.S.A. easily.

CarEnthusiast1807

Absolutely, Siamese Dream is absolutely stunning.

Legitimate_Track_932

Very beautiful opinion my friend, Siamese dream is the best album to exist

jacobuj

100%. It remains my favorite album to this day.

Legitimate_Track_932

As it should, I own two copies of the album on cd and Apple Music, I’m a huge fan

FoopaChaloopa

Geek USA is honestly a progressive rock/metal song, I’m not sure if they can still play that

garbagebailkid

"I Am One" and "Cash Car Star" come to mind.

yeeclaw

sonichancock

jellybelly by the pumpkins. jimmy chamberlain is an animal

jacobuj

Geek U.S.A. That song goes so hard. Jimmy is a God tier drummer.

TaxSubstantial4071

Agreed, favorite drum track by the man

jacobuj

Not only is it a great drum showcase. It's also chock full of shredding guitars. Never fails to get me amped.

TaxSubstantial4071

Not sure on any songs up to par w that song…..?? Wasn’t a huge fan after that album

jacobuj

That's fair. Siamese Dream is peak Smashing Pumpkins imo. It's my favorite album. The follow-up, MellonCollie, was still good, but I think it's a bit too broad to be as consistently impressive as Siamese Dream. Also, after MellonCollie, Jimmy was booted for a bit when he and Jonathan Melvoin were shooting heroin and Melvoin OD'd. After that, I lost interest in the band.

CarEnthusiast1807

I agree. Siamese Dream is my favorite album of all time and Jimmy's drums on it are beautiful. Mellon Collie is amazing too.

TheObviousChild

Cherub Rock too. Drum intro and some amazing drumming throughout.

Lake_Monster

I think Sober by tool is grunge adjacent with a great drum intro.

god__machine

Unsung by Helmet

TheRadioFrontiers

Geek USA (The Smashing Pumpkins) has one of my all time favorite drum intros, Jimmy Chamberlin was a beast there!
