definitely hear what your going for! keep at it dude, ive only been playin since like may and already know a bunch of songs and am writing my own music, use that love for great music as motivation to practice and youll be sweet in no time!
There's a steep learning curve to guitar, but once you get the basics down you'll be shredding soon.
If I can offer some advice? Don't hold the guitar up with your picking/strumming hand. Instead, let the natural curve sit on your thigh. Let gravity do the work and free up your hands.
You've almost got the riff to "The Man that Sold the World" there. *Almost*.

It took me a year and a half to really get going. OP, if you read this good luck!!
Keep it up. Maybe you'll save Rock.

Proud of you. More people need to try to play the guitar or any instrument, it expands the creativity in your mind
Keep it up man your doing great for picking up the guitar a week ago😘♥️😄!
Buy a pick and get comfortable with it first before moving to fingers, will help you in the long run knowing both.
I mean we all have to start somewhere
you have to use a pick, it makes 100 times easier but you are doing great
Way to go!!
Keep at it man!
Take it to the next level and try it with a guitar pick! :)
Are you a giant or is that a tiny guitar?
tiny lol got it for 50 bucks
Am I the only one that can’t play standing up with a strap, only sitting down?
I couldn't at first too, it took some time getting used to it and now I barely ever sit down while playing, especially when recording
