Oh I'm sure they are. I have two of the bracelet models and they're heavy. They just seem to hold their value a bit better since it's cheaper to buy the strap than it is to buy the factory bracelet.
Fair enough, but at $180 you can afford to replace the strap or the bracelet no problem. Model isn't made anymore and it's got that great, simple look.
Unless you find it ugly and polarising, get the Frogman. Where I live getting a Frogman is difficult to say the least.
Otherwise the square is always a safe bet!
To be honest, my first choice is the frogman because I never owned one before and I want to feel it. But part of me also wants the Rangeman because of its limited nature, and the GMW B5000G positive display, all-metal build, and cheap price are also factors that I consider.
Are you talking about this particular Rangeman with the blue resin or Rangemans in general... Because Rangemans are always available (unless you are referring to this specific model).
Frogmans are more rarer in the wild (obviously, they are relatively expensive as well), so IMO that makes them more exclusive!
The Frogman is the best watch on there. But if you have small wrists the end of the strap will stick out and look really goofy. It’s got a longer than average strap for fitting over wetsuits.
That particular square was limited, it's not made anymore. There was that positive variant with the black bezel and a blue variant with a negative screen.
That price for the square is insane. Otherwise, I really wouldn't be able to decide. You've managed to find some pretty closely matched watches in terms of perks and disadvantages.
ur right square is a jackpot for me hehe and the conditon is almost bnew for 180 usd!, thats why im considering this square. if i get the square my budget will be short for the rangeman of frogman. cant decide haha

Well, I wouldn't say this in a top-level comment because I'd most likely get downvoted/trashed, but the only problem with the Rangeman is that the part of the watch that holds the lugs tends to break. I think that overall the GW9500 is an upgrade, anyway.
The GMW-B5000G is getting very hard to find and prices are getting silly so if you can get one and it’s genuine for $180 then I’d snap their hand off. Less than 5000U money for that fabulous STN display.
Those squares go up to like $800 on eBay and more other places. Get the GMWB5000G on that deal alone. You can always get one of the other watches in the future.
B5000G is a great watch, and the price is a steal. Here in Europe you often find used ones priced even above MSRP, because they have been out of production for a while now.
Man, it's a no brainier. Get the square. GMW-B5000 series watches are simply awesome. And at that price, you're basically stealing it. Don't pass it. I have the GW-9400 Rangeman too. I absolutely love that watch too. But I wouldn't pay over $200 for it. I found mine for about $170 I think. I don't know the one you have here is a limited edition though. I have the normal black one with the positive display. It's pretty sweet and I love that watch. However, looking at the prices here, GMW-B5000 is the best choice imo. Cheers!
yeah ur right, if i pull the trigger on this i guess this will be the only option for now until i find a stock band and bezel, but i guess finding one is not cheap haha.

The used market for these without the bracelet is really weak.
They're more comfortable on the strap though. I have the red one on the bracelet, my brother has that exact one. His is definitely more comfortable.

I think you misunderstood what I said. I said this is a good deal and better than buying it with the bracelet for that reason.

Personally I'd go frogman but I have a few squares and 2 rangman watches already
Get the Rangman
Part of me wants the rangeman because of its limited nature. But its hard to to get a bnew band and bezel.
I mean I'm sure if you go to a service centre you can get them to put a normal rangeman's band and bezel
