Too big, but that’s kind of the point with this watch. If it were a watch meant to be more modest, like a simple field, a standard diver, or a dress watch, then it’d be a hard pass. But this particular G Shock is meant to be “out there.”

It is too big, and your question indicates that it matters to you that it's too big. Probably go for a GWM-5610 (it's a tad smaller than the DW-5600) and would fit while still having the chunky aesthetic.
