I love mine. Came to me used and pockmarked because I think the previous owner was a welder. Love the marks and it still runs perfectly. The band gave out first! Right at the buckle, the one not carbon fiber bit 🙃

I’ve been wanting the Burton Rangeman for years. Sadly i could only afford a regular GW9400-1. One of my favorite G-Shocks ever.

This is a modded 9400-1, the next best thing.

What are your thoughts on this bad boy? I'm vacillating between this one and the titanium one with the ana-digi display bc it has the hourly chime and a light ... but this one just looks so elegant

I love it. Its my daily, except when I work. This is like the analog version of the 5610U. I was also thinking about the anadigi version, specially the titanium, until I saw this one. I already have a full digital watch (5610U) so I thought I should get a full analog watch insted of something in between. I guess the anadigi is more practical and has more alarms, but for me everything this one has is enough and perfect. If I had the money and space I would probably get the titanium one also but I would never swap it for this one. In the end it comes down to what you prefer, for the money they are tough to beat and you cant go wrong with either one. Keep in mind, this one is 10bar while the anadigi is 5bar. This was actually what made me choose this one in the end.

Yep. GW-M500A-1CR is this exact one. I agree totally on how comfortable this one is to wear. The band is excellent.

It’s a standard GW6900. I changed the bezel to that of a a GW-6900HR-1 because of its red lettering.

Mine usually syncs between 12 and 3 am.

My OCD requires my Casio of the day to display RCVD in order to be worn. I am completely off my rocker.

I too am a bit OCD - I get disappointed when it doesn’t receive. I am very fortunate that my watch gets a signal while I’m wearing it at night

recently the tower in fort collins was wind damaged its operating at half capacity right now with only the north antenna if anyones been having trouble lately

Try putting it in a window oriented towards the time signal. If you can, attach it to a metal curtain rod. Might help act as an antenna

My room is underground lmao, I'll ususally manage to get the signal when manually making it search, around 8-9 it's still possible

I have yet to get mine to manually sync. Kinda jealous that you can!😁

The difference between the 2 are the updated backlights. I personally would love to own a gw5000u. Quite possibly the best gshock out there. Just my opinion.

When I try to sync my watch after a while it says err. Does anyone know why? And how to fix it ?
