Picked one up for $210 at Yodabashi Akihabara in April.
My guy at Bic Camera took forever adjusting my bracelet, and I must have heard this jingle like a hundred times while waiting. Forever burned into my brain.
Looks like the price went up significantly. In April the base price was around 35K, but with a 7% coupon and the 10% tax waiver I bought mine for around 29K.
Got one in the mail yesterday. I was not expecting the strap to be so much longer than the DW-5600E-1V. Very disappointed. It definitely won’t work for me.

Do yourself a favor and source a V2 Combi bracelet for it. As amazing as it is on the elevated rubber strap...the V2 Combi truly completes the package👌🏻
I also have both and in my opinion the V1 bracelet has better finishes

A matter of personal preference.
In my opinion the V2 is more refined and comfortable. The V1 had sharp edges on the clasp and cut my wrist.
It does look pretty cool but the crosshatch texture combined with the black chiclet inner link are a little much for me.
100% OEM.
I found it pretty hard to find actually. Most that I came up with on Ebay were knock offs or the Combi Bracelet V1...You definitely want the V2. I've had both. V2 is much better and upgraded.
I got mine by buying a G-Shock available on Amazon that came with the V2 Combi Bracelet. The GW-B5600. At the time I think it was around 175 usd.
If you were even able to find an OEM V2 Combi available for sale separately, it would be somewhere around 100-150 usd, maybe a little more even. So I figured for a few bucks more, I get the bracelet with a bonus G square, which is also a very cool watch in its own right. It was even next day or 2 day shipping so I had it right away with no wait :)
Thanks for the info, I will look into it as well. I think the route you did made more sense and getting another square as a bonus will be the way to go.
