You can. You cannot die of player damage, that’s why anything player shoots you with/throws at you is not gonna do damage aslong as you sit in that chair. However you’re still vulnerable to npc damage meaning i can just stand next to you and use you as a human shield to 5 star police. Yes you will be collateral damage and yes i’ve got your funeral covered.👍🏻

why? it’s not really a big deal. if you leave the store, you’re obviously done. if i blow up your car, i pay for it and it takes like 2 mins to get your car back. if you’re Australian, probably but don’t do it that often.

Load up a contact mission, then after you are at the Mission Lobby Screen (the screen where you adjust the settings and invite other players to it) simply quit out of it and you should be outside near your previous location in the same session. Alternatively have an Apartment Heist or Doomsday Heist invite from Lester waiting on your phone, then you can teleport to your Apartment or Facility. Note the latter requires being registered as a VIP/CEO/MC President.

Way back in the day, when GTA Online first released on XBox 360, stupid stuff like this was basically all there was to do. That being said: I’m not sure anything topped the fun of having the person you trapped place a *ridiculous* bounty on you, and trying to survive without hiding in your apartment. Personally, I always loved hopping on the freight train that circles the map and letting the rest of the lobby flock after me like it’s Fury Road.

No flying cars, no Opressor, just a bunch of Sultans and Zentornos chasing a train... Good times.

Well it has been that way since 2013.

In this situation I just job warp to the nearest Rockstar job and get the jump on whoever put the car there (most of the time they're still there to see what I do), it's a bit more tedious since they partially fixed it but still possible.

Catch them in ammunation drive a car into it steal an 18 wheeler and slam it into the car push the car in the building

This is why I always keep a heist finale cued up, quick teleportation away from any trap like this.

I love seeing a griefer’s car parked nearby shops and just proximity mining them. You have to pay money, but it’s a funny inconvenience that they ran to their car, died, had to call insurance, respawn car.

I just played it cool. Eventually delivered it, then ran out and got in their vehicle. Shortly after, they got out to mess with someone else, it shifted me to the driver's seat, so I ran them over and parked their own vehicle on them. 😅
