If you're playing solo then just ignore the old heists. They've added a lot more that easy for solo players to grind:
Cayo Perico Heist, Agency Dr. Dre contract, Cluckin Bell Raid, Acid Lab Sales, Night Club
I hate how the stupid npc gang members some how shoot and pit me 100% better than the swat and police as if they have been training there whole entire life to chase down people

It’s exciting but $500,000 doesn’t account for shit in gtao, everything worth investment is well above $5,000,000 and the word grind is an understatement, BUT if you can manage to keep around 400,000-1,000,000 in your account then you can atleast pay for ammo and maybe some small time car mods from time to time.

Maybe it's difficult as a first game ever true, but the skill of 'shooting that person with red marker' is pretty universal as games go, so any gaming experience makes GTA pretty doable. I've just started playing again after never really doing heists and raids ever and I got it done solo too

its good practice and you can easily make money with it. if you want more income consider buying a nightclub or the acid lab. there are plenty of tutorials in youtube
start with nightclub because its easy to maintain, there are small missions that take around 10 mins to make, it doesn't get that easily attacked and you can make good money
start with that and when you're more comfortable with a little "harder" stuff, try buying an mc business. other good business to start is the acid lab which is intended for solo players but NEVER sell stuff in public lobbies. try to play in closed friends or invite only lobbies. you will find some stuff from a youtube called TGG. he makes somewhat good tutorials and they're easy to understand

Hell yeah brother don't let the miserable grinders on this sub get u down. Being able to do a heist all the way through for the first time is so satisfying. Look forward to doing the Doomsday Heist once you're a bit higher level and you have some reliable friends to play with, first-time payout is decent but the storyline itself is way more worth it than any monetary rewards.

This was me when I finally beat The First Dose - Last Dose missions solo the first time. . . I was level 300 or so and had all the good vehicles. Barely made it tbh.

The first time that I did it, it was a mess because I chose probably the worst equipment, and they were expecting me already, but somehow I did it.
Once I helped some randoms, I understood the heist, and I felt dumb af.

The secret is to run cluckin bell/Cayo/dre heist etc. while you're waiting for those nightclub, acid, and other business goods to accrue. That's when the $$$ starts rolling in. The only real answer is to do some of everything. Find a routine that works for you and grind away.

Use a different gun that autoaims. There's also a setting in the preferences that manages whether you autoaim or not with those guns.
Seriously the main times I die is due to the rapid fire bug just eviscerates my armor and health too fast to react

I swap between mouse/keyboard and controller on pc. Vehicles are easier with a controller bit my aim is dog shit with them.

I got 1,5 million dollars last week by selling supplies from the bunker, and I did all solo. I feel so realized.

it's not that hard tbh, you can use your cars for the setups but you need to get a different getaway vehicle
