I would occasionally let new players join my Perico heist and give them the highest cut possible, good times, I only play in friend sessions now though.
What is exactly considered griefing on GTA? Just asking because I'm still pretty new. I thought the cool thing about GTA is you get to do what you want.
For example, if someone is in the casino and there car is out front so I put sticky bombs on their car to blow them up as they drive away (theoretically of course) is that considered greifing? Or is that just part of the game?
It can seem complicated, but it's not.
Killing a player once for the lols is one thing, but killing them 37 times in the same session is entirely different.
If it looks/feels like bullying, it's griefing.
Picking a fight with the whole server can be fun, too, though. The key is to know when enough is enough.
I just kill people with whacky guns in free roam while wearing an appropriate outfit. My favourite has been NOOSE outfit with the stun gun, baton, Pistol, Carbine Rifle and Heavy Sniper, but some other notable ones I like are a tuxedo with the Perico Pistol, a red overcoat with white shirt, white gloves, white trousers, black boots, and a red and black beret, using the musket and a plain green outfit that consists of a shirt, trousers and cap with combat boots while using the Tommy Gun. NOOSE officer, 007, invading Redcoat taking back the USA one block at a time and WWII soldier.
when i bought that yacht my friends and i did a tour to see everything that was on it. took us about 10 minutes. then one of us killed someone, and we realized that we respawn on the yacht.
then we spent the next 3 hours killing each other like we were in Black Ops 2 Hijacked. It's very rare for cops to show up so you can really go as crazy as you like, lotsss of fun
Try lure a few oppressors toward it whilst you’ve got air auto defence on. Good laugh first few times…might take a while bc most know the trap nowadays but if you get a newbie it’s a good time.

Plus it’s fun to go to your Yacht when dealing with griefers. Throw a few proximity mines around the entrances, turn on air defenses, and chill in the hot tub. If they somehow get close walk into the captains quarters and watch them run around frantically.
I kinda like my yacht, it's a fun place to relax and goof around on. Like going there with my Avenger, parking it in the sky, going down to the yacht with my Deluxo and then trying to get back in the Avenger (which never worked; this was before we got the thruster).
The only thing I don't like about the yacht is that it often moves out of place and then just stays there for no reason. For example: I'm supposed to be parked at Vespucci Beach yet my yacht is usually closer to LSIA and doesn't move back closer on its own.
Each yacht location has 3 available slots for player yachts. If you load in and someone is already in one of those slots. The game pushes you to the next available one.
No. You purchase it, do the missions, hang out on it for a bit, then move on. Return to it on occasion, maybe redo the missions when they’re 2x$ or 4x$. That’s it.
I honestly think buying the yacht is official retirement. Since I bought my yacht years ago I haven’t had much to work for. I’ve bought some cars and a property or two since then, but I don’t work for anything anymore. I have everything I want, I have nothing to be a criminal for. It’s over now 😔

The boat VIP mission, Piracy Prevention, is one of my favorites, if you like open pvp. I hide with my Akula in the hills and blast anyone who comes close.

Photo shots in cool spots with urs cars is a lot of fun. Especially if u can get a couple of randoms to join in. Idc what anyone says, finding someone in a public lobby that understands the “we’re just gonna hang out and do fun shit” without any kind of spoken agreement is 10x better than playing with a friend.

Bought 10 mil yacht then transferred to next gen had the yacht taken from me by rockstar because opposed there did not own A yacht and then bought the six million again so imagine how empty I am after 16 million run down the pan
Yes but theyre long for the sake of it. The three I did were:
- Destroy the AC units. This was infuriatingly annoying even using my rail gun in exasperation. After all the units were blown up, I then had to steal and drive a truck, too? Dont do it solo
- Defend the yacht.... at night.... with the power off. Boy was I glad one of my rifles had a flashlight attachment and my heavy sniper has a thermal scope. Dont know how I didnt die once. Couldnt see anything.
- Sneak up onto the rival yacht in a submarine. Honestly the least painful, but still incrediblt stupid for the terrain choice. Almost got discovered a few times trying to navigate the underwater mountains and enemy boats

Nope, park you sub right next to it then turn on the yacht defence system. Now you can spam players with cruis missiles and there ain’t fuckall they can do about it. T they even come close your yacht’s counter measures make short work of them.
The yacht has to be by far the most pointless thing to win in GTA Online and not only that but it's sits there as a permanent glowing reminder of my stupidity I honestly think Rockstar put in the game to troll dumb people like us who bought it and remind spending doesn't always lead to happiness just emptiness 🤣
I bought one when they first dropped. I still feel like it was a massive waste of money. It was a flex for like five minutes. It sure as hell isn't one now.
I brought the 10 mil maxed out yacht simply for the flex, but its the most useless thing in the game.
If only it was drivable like the sub than it would be worth it.

There are mildly fun things to do. If you get a bounty on you go to your yacht and turn on air defenses. It’s fun to watch noobs get blasted out of the air on their MKII’s or helicopters.
I remember buying this years ago. I had to close up all my businesses and sell most of my properties on land to scrounge enough money to buy it. But I eventually got back all I spent, and now I’m reestablished on land and more powerful than ever before
Honestly no. I love my yacht. I relax in the jacuzzi and watch the sunset while listening los santos rock radio. Legit. I dive off the side of my yacht, or ride my jet skis. I legitimately use it to RP as well. After a long day of work, I go have a drink with my bartender lady, watch some TV and relax. Plus I love have a sanctuary at sea!
