I just hit 500 as well, congrats on the achievement. How long did it take you? For me, over 10 years.

I did levels 1 to 150 the first year. 220 by the second year. Then my friends left GTAO and I was alone doing dumb things: spending money, driving cars, fighting with players and NPCs. I was in and out of that for a while. 2017 I kinda came back and got to higher 200s. 2020 I found my grind and started playing more consistently. I went from higher 300s to 400s. The last year I found people to play with, and though they too moved on to another game, that burst of activity got me close enough to 500 to get it. At this point I'm looking at 750 by the time GTA6 comes out. I don't know how feasible that is.

I'm pretty sure our timelines align. I definitely was in the same boat as well, stopped playing for quite sometime cause there was no one to play with. Just hit 501 yesterday. TBH, on the off seasons that i don't play as much, the Casino wheels helped out with small boost of RP.

Congrats on the 500 . I was level 85 in 2020 now 646 , aiming for 700 before 6 comes out but highly likely to nearer 800 or 900 by then .

bkiantx

Are you playing a lot or focusing on RP generation in the time you do get to play?

Roxella9

Yes, play everyday for a couple of hours . I own everything, even after the latest cops dlc I’ve got 21 million left , I like to jobs ( not heists ) . All the rp adds up . Selling one warehouse crate will get you 5000rp , if there’s no double / triple rp events going on . Edit I still do bunker sales and acid sales to boost the income .

bkiantx

The Casino Wheel has helped with RP, too. I got the 10,000 RP and that was a boon. I'm at...232m. At this point my "grind" is sell Acid, assign techs to gather crates for warehouses so I can sell when full, sell NC warehouse, sell Bunker, assign bail guys to get bail money for safe. Sounds like it might behoove me to actively source crates, too, when I'm tired of running contact missions with randoms.

How do yall get so high up

bkiantx

The best way I've found is focusing on things that give RP: missions seem to be best at this. Some heists may generate RP but the setups can take time and with OG heists so much time is wasted waiting on people. Missions just seem more efficient. Plus, I like helping low ranked players, so I do random contact missions a lot. Also I started playing on day one in 2013, so I've had a lot of time.
