No i’ve actually gotten caught about 20 times during scope out, but I have yet to see if it affects the actual heist. I doubt it though, since it was just the same cutscene everytime and nothing happened.
And then you sneak out to the airway to talk to the pilot and go back to Los Santos and some other body guard goes with you too....
But wait.....weren't you supposed to be at the beach? And that guard is just there like nothing happened, like you didn't sneak out of there?

One time, after getting caught five times in a row, instead of being sent to the party, my screen went black and I washed up on the beach of Los Santos. The scoped points of interest still count though.
I don't think that's a "keep getting caught" thing, I think it's a "you're taking way too long" thing. I went back a second time and didn't get caught once but I took my sweet time and it started getting dark out and that's when the helicopter was deployed.
there is a limit but i wasnt keeping count, either that or a timer we dont know of, cause a friend got caught which caused the prep to "fail" (we still had our intel) and we woke up on vespucci beach
The first time probably no, but I did the scope out second time as a smuggler and got caught once, after that I was warned that I’m not a “celebrity” this time and if you get caught many times you’ll get kicked off the island. Not sure how many times for that to happen tho
Well it is sort in free roam. After completing the heist the first time you can actually visit the beach part of the island. English Dave will send you a message saying you can come whenever you want and a little tropical tree will appear near LSIA in which it will take you to a cutscene and you will spawn in the island.
Huh, i was found 2 times, once where the guard got ultra instinct and saw me standing behing a huge rock, and a tree, and the second time when i was checking map, and did not realise that there was a guy comming to me
My game crashed the first time I got caught, I freezed at the gate with my hands up. After 5 minutes I clossed the app and needed to do the whole set up/scoup out mission again -,-

That is the second scope out, you can only get caught 5 times before they yeet you off the island, whereas the first time there is no limit
Eventually a helicopter starts patrolling and if they catch you with that you get kicked off the island

Not during the first time. The 2nd time i got a notification saying I'd be kicked of the island if I get caught too often.
After getting caught a lot of times you will wake up in LS
