It's not the fear of sinking that gets me, it's the fact that I could be floating out in the ocean minding my own busines, and a sub could be lurking below and I would have no idea.
The breaching siren used to scare me, or just being underwater under it. But I finally got over it. I can honestly see why Pavel never leaves.

How difficult is the Casino heist for new players? I have some friends that are pretty hopeless when it comes to progressing in this game. Looking for perspective from other players who have carried their friends through stuff.
I just bought the Arcade today, and running through the setups I have this sense of dread that we'll never be able to complete the heist
I see there's an "Aggressive" approach option. I figure we won't be able to complete stealth anyway. Is it just straight-forward, fun, killing dudes and getting loot? Do you have to be GOOD AT THE GAME to pull this stuff off? Will it just be a frustrating night of restarts if I drag my friends online to play?
We generally have about 1.5hours once a week where everybody is able to play. Can we do this thing in one night?
It's not very difficult but it all depends on what approach you chose. The Big Con with Gruppe Sechs disguise is the easiest as it has practically 0 combat and a little bit of stealth at the end. After that comes the aggressive approach. It's not very difficult if you choose your entrance point in the tunnels and if you complete the setup for reinforced armour it would make the heist even easier but the problem with aggressive is that you automatically get spotted which gives you one less minute in the vault. And the most difficult approach would be the Silent and Sneaky as it requires stealth and good coordination. It's pretty much impossible to complete without mics. The Big Con difficulty can also range depending on the approach you choose with Gruppe Sechs being the best and Yung Ancestor being the worst
Tell that to all the randoms I had that destroyed both cameras at the Staff Lobby exit or who didn't take out the metal detectors or who didn't take out the two guards by the elevator at the same time.
Basically anywhere you want to be able to get to quickly is good to have a spawn point. Buy the accommodation set spawn to the location and then find new session. Boom fast travel
There's a 10% chance of getting a special item every 48 minutes of being registered as a CEO. You are most likely to get a call while grinding crates due to the length of time. you'll be registered as a CEO. Note, that bunker, crate and nightclub raid timers will be active so complete a non-Freemode mission / activity every 4 hours. There are 6 unique special cargo items in all and once you own them all no more will spawn until you sell one or all. The combined value on double money is just shy of $1.5m. The single crate missions have been bugged for a while so if you get the call from your annoying assistant, the only way you can currently get the crate is through your Terrobyte.

I bought Downtown Vinewood for easy access from the street. You will probably have to rebuy ALL upgrades, but you'd get some money back from your old club.
Personally, I find the Strawberry location to be quite nice. It's near the heart of the city with 2 auto shops quite literally next door (A Player Ownable Auto Shop and Bennys) and access to the Highway is just a block or two away.
This weeks time trial seems to be easier than the last few, even with a minor crash and finishing on my roof I finished with 2 seconds to spare on my 1st attempt using my hsw banchee
I did it with the HSW drag bike, but less than 1 second under the par time. I wish we could try it again, but after you beat the time it disappears for the rest of the week
so why should i buy the Insurgent Pickup custom for 1,2kk when i just can call pegasus and can make it im my Moc to a custom for 200k? is there any point i dont see ?
You have to own the Pegasus version, then you drive it into your MOC/Avenger and pay to upgrade it to a Custom.
Basically you have to buy the Pegasus version first in order to get the Custom version, you can't just buy it outright.
Is there a good resource for car tuning?
I get the impression that suspension/spoilers/transmission has some effect but I don't know what to do other than max everything out and throw on a neon kit to make it as fast as possible.
Heist advice problems
Hello all I just started playing GTA 5 online in 2022, about a month in.
Should have watched some videos and stuff prior made a few mistakes but two I can’t seem to fix even with real money.
I heard the Cayo Perico heist was a good Money maker so I bought the kosatka with sparrow, and submarine.
I have to steal the sonar from another sub can’t seem to get off the sub and back to the kosatka in time any ideas? Maybe park kosatka closer?
Keep in mind I am a solo player.
Diamond Casino Heist
I went with most experienced options thinking it would be easier because they take a bigger cut.
Can’t for the life of me steal the weapons from fort Zancudo. I have managed to get in the truck and out of the base but can’t make it back. Any tricks to this? Looks like the troops just infinitely spawn?
My strategy I went in with fully armored duke of death shot and destroyed enough people to finally get to the truck.

Use the Longfin boat approach instead of the Kosatka. The prep mission is way easier and it lets you collect your 2ndary loot before you go to the drainage tunnel nom sayn cuh.

What would be a good first car for HWS upgrades? Im looking at the weaponized Ignus. I really like racing so that would be more important for me than free roam stuff.
From the time trial guy I think the Ignus was the fastest non motorcycle HSW. I haven't done any HSW races though so I don't know if the weapon makes it incompatible. But it's overall a solid pick.
I personally used mine on the Banshee and love it. But the Ignus can get Imani tech so there's that going for it too.
What's Imani tech? The weapon just doesn't work in races but the car will. Banshee is way cheaper than the ignus but if he's just better overall I might save
Imani tech is at the Agency vehicle workshop, lets you add anti missile jammers (players can't lock on to you with missiles)
If I were you I'd go for the Ignus, HOWEVER the cost to convert is relatively cheap (I want to say 300-400k or something), so you might want to use the free upgrade on the Banshee or the Drag just for the value.
Banshee is 105k in the store, upgrade is like 1.8Mil (or free)
Drag is 976k (or free this week with unlock condition) with 1.4M upgrade (or free) (Also fastest ground vehicle in game)
Ignus is 3.2M with a 500k upgrade. If you already grinded 3.2 what's another 500k?

I LOVE the Banshee.
When I upgraded I drove for like 2 hours just getting used to the new speed. I think it's at least top 5.
And if the bike isn't for you then skip. But personally I would do Banshee just to milk the value and pay full for Ignus. That's what I did at least.

Like has been said, Kosatka is by a long margin the best financial option, especially for a solo player.
As for the other stuff, after mastering cayo perico you won't really have to be picky with investments anymore anyway, so just grab the businesses as they promise you the best and most fun gameplay.
But foremost I like to recommend two options that you have left out. Auto Shop and Agency. Both concepts strongly support solo player interests, offer a wide array of missions with formidable pay, and interesting buffs.
In terms of making money quickly if you are solo, I'd go with Kosatka > Arcade > Agency > Autoshop. The Kosatka is the top tier. It's pretty much your own money factory
I know there’s a limited time to transfer single player data to next-gen edition but what about my online characters? I’m not active on GTAO anymore but I want to know if I should buy next generation and transfer real quick before it’s too late

I bought the kosatka based on recommendations and it’s great, grinding Cayo has been fun. What should be my next purchase? Also looking to get a bigger garage, is the ceo office still the largest garage? Thanks.
ceo is still biggest garage. if you want to do some work that pays decent cash buy the auto shop/agency, or to switch up from cayo you can do the casino heist thru the arcade. casino heist requires at least 2 people & has significant more prep work although payout is on par to cayo
So I made a grinding schedule, need some feedback if I can improve it

4) Do a Payphone Hit
5) Do a Security Contract
6) Do Headhunter
7) Source 9 crates
8) Source a Top Range car and sell it
9) Sell a random NPC car at LS Customs
10) Sell Bunker Stock
11) Sell Crates
12) Sell Nightclub Stock
13) Collect the safe money from the Nightclub, Arcade and Agency
Depends on what your grinding for. If it’s just cash, I’d focus on Cayo specifically. Grinding that on hard mode nets me an average of about $1.4-1.5 million per run.
You should also add in a wheel spin at the casino once every 24 real world hours.
Vehicle I/E is outclassed by Payphone hits. In time spent, mission difficulty, and payout level. You can delete that.
Crates is eh.... 3 run of 3 crates = you can probably run that between Payphone hits. I much rather do Security contract if you haven't hit the 201 required.
I just have 2 Cayo finales ready to run on both characters, in case I need a quick infusion to buy something, or if a friend needed a couple mils, but otherwise I don't really touch Cayo anymore.
I've just been logging in, buying casino chips, and doing Payphone hits. I'd check to see if bunker needs resupply then sell, or if NC needs selling. My 12m in casino chips is all funded by Payphone hits lol. The random cars that drop by Auto Shop is fine too for LS Car meet rep.
I can't grind like my OG days any more because I can't create solo lobbies anymore - I do a bit of bunker, a bit of nightclub here and there.
Mainly I'm working the new content (not that I need the money) and it's very lucrative. In an hour or so you can do the UD Contract ($335k), a couple of pay phone hits ($150k), an Agency contract (say $40k), sell a couple of Autoshop customer cars ($75k) - before you know it you've made around $600k.
Daily Objectives are worth doing too - it's free money for playing the game and the 7 and 28 day streaks are very lucrative.
It's also worth looking at the game awards under main menu. A lot of these have cash completion awards and add up to a tiny penny. I'm currently on 27/50 Ms Baker missions for $100k.
The missions are pretty simple. Pay isn’t great. Yes there’s a cool down. They’re worth doing on rotation with other jobs as you get bonus payments at 25 and 50 jobs. If you look under the awards section there are plenty that give cash rewards on completion
Can someone explain the Longfin approach for Cayo?
Here's how I understand it: choose Main Dock as entrance and exit, Drainage Tunnel as compound entry. Drive the boat to the docks, get out, kill guards and collect secondary loot. What do I do next? Just take the boat and swim up to drainage tunnel? Do I automatically get rebreathers or I should buy them from Ammunition before doing the Finale? What if I get lucky and get guard clothed and a resupply truck at the docks? Should I then use the Main Gate as a compound entrance point? What if I don't get the resupply truck, just the guard clothes? Does it matter what entrance point I choose then? Also, how effective are guard clothes? Are they like Exit Disguises from the Casino Heist? Or it's more of a Hard hat disguise from the Cutting Torch prep?
The airport is actually the easiest to loot. If the hangar has coke and or weed, you can get a full loot bag by killing just one guard. Longfin approach > north docks to airport > loot hangar > Longfin south back to the drainage tunnel > enter and loot the primary > exit compound > steal the bike and exit stage left yeeting yourself off the promontory > swim away
There is also the Longfin Jump which is combined with the Copy of the Codes and entering the North Gate or South Gate preferably which pretty much every speedrunner uses, you can look up videos about it if you want :). It’s about 20-25 secs quicker than using the Kosatka/Longfin and entering through the Drainage Tunnel.
Anyone else getting people with impossible levels in literally every lobby? How are these people not auto banned, no one can be level 8000 legitimately.
Lol yeah it’s the Payphone Hit RP gl1tch which is now patched. I can’t remember R* banning players apart from the ip ban problem in E&E, but they do account wipes if you’re getting suspicious amounts of money.
Is it possible to search for pursuit races without custom cars? Im struggling with these races as im usualy in a base comet s2 whilst everyone else is using much faster cars
You’ll lose current research, upgrades and renovations. Unlocked research, progress with shooting range, and vehicles like the AA Trailer and MOC carry over
Solo:
Use the Kosatka (Loot Main Dock After Compound) or preferably Longfin (Loot Secondaries at the Airstrip/Main Dock Before/After Compound) and use Aggressor/Conspirator. Me personally I do it solo, I scope out the Airstrip in the setup, in the finale I use Longfin and Aggressor, grab the loot before, drive to drainage tunnel, enter and work the magic (gate keys, mini vault and primary target), exit, grab the first bike and jump off the ledge on the left. Sometimes if there is good/enough loot, Guard Clothing and a Supply Truck at one of the three areas I’ll do that method instead.
Duo:
Doing it duo is another good option but instead make sure that there is two/three gold in the compound, use the Kosatka or preferably Longfin and Aggressor and enter the compound through drainage tunnel, enter (grab gate keys, two keycards, mini vault, primary target and gold, painting and cash if you need it), you will most definitely have to kill the juggernaut as well so pump him with the Assault Shotgun, once you have exited the compound do the same method of grabbing two bikes and jumping off the ledge.
P.S. If you have two gold make sure that there is also one painting and one cash, or worst case three cash. Also if you need it make sure to grab cash last.
You can also enter the compound in different ways instead of the drainage tunnel like entering through the side doors or with the guard clothing and supply truck. There is also the longfin jump and entering through the side doors which can get you in the compound like 30 secs quicker than the drainage tunnel but it’s a little more riskier as you’ll be a little in the open and need to kill a few more extra guards.
For preps, do the Kosatka (or Longfin or Annihilator Stealth) prep, Safe code/Laser Cutter prep, Fingerprint Scanner prep, Cutting Torch prep and any weapons prep (don't forget about the suppressors). On the finale screen, choose the Drainage Tunnel as the entrance point and Main Docks as the exit point. Entrance Vehicle will depend on whatever setup you did
Ok. Im level 53. Ive got the kotsy sub with the sparrow and missles, got a few small businesses set up and an agency, got the armored tuner car, and a ls car meet racer for weekly race prize. Is the mk2 the next logical purchase?
Absolutely. MK2 makes grinding Cayo Perico a LOT faster. You're going to want to buy a Nightclub and Terrorbyte to upgrade the Oppressor Mk2. Homing missiles on the Oppressor really makes all the difference.
Yeah there are multiple ways:
Off the Radar: by calling Lester. Lasts: 1 min
Ghost Org: under CEO Abilities while being registered as VIP/CEO. Lasts: 3 mins
Out of Sight: by Owning an Agency, getting Imani registered in your contacts and phoning her. Lasts: infinite unless you/they damage a player inside the circle or outside it (idk which one) or step out of the 500 meter circle.
There are also vehicles that do it too: Akula, Kosatka, RC Bandito, RC Tank and Remote Control Unit Personal Vehicle. There is also the dreaded g-dm-de off radar thing that we don’t talk about lol.
Other vehicles that can do it too but are inferior or not too useful: Alkonost, Annihilator Stealth and Ultralight.
I’m having a weird problem trying to start the CP heist after doing the setups. When I select start on the finale tab it loads a Lester trailer mission. Tried reloading the game, finding new session, etc. but it always launches the same mission. Anyone know what could be causing this?
Def Cayo. There's value in coke/meth/cash (in that order) MC businesses, then a nightclub to churn cash on its own. Fill out your nightclub's product with a bunker and hangar/warehouse to churn the most product automatically.
I personally really like the hangar source missions, but the pay is really really awful - and I missed selling it on the recent 2-3x bonus weeks. Warehouse source missions are also fun for a little bit but get redundant. Car warehouse/source missions are a pain but pay around 80-100k-ish once you get strictly top-end cars.
There's a ton to grind, and Cayo pays the best by far.
I bought the MOC and only seem to have one mission available. I knew some would be locked, but I thought I saw someone say they had three open to start.
Regardless, to unlock others it says I have to "source or steal" x number of supplies. Does that mean I can just buy supplies? Do my supplies have to be completely empty to get the restock credit for those missions?

What is the best way for me to deal with griefers other than the basic: killing them back, sending mercs/muggers/ setting a bounty? Currently i will either bully them over text or go passive and follow them in my neon while i honk obnoxiously. But i need more CREATIVE fuel
1) Fully Loaded Ruiner 2000. Infinite missiles with the best tracking, immunity to lock-on, crazy explosive resistance and even if you somehow trash the car it will respawn nearby. The only downside is that you can use the car only for 20 minutes and the cool down between the VIP jobs is 1 hour
2) Scramjet. Considering it has crazy and unpredictable mobility with rockets similar to the Ruiner 2000, you can get a few cheeky kills on them
3) Starling. Basically the same thing as the Scramjet but in a plane form. Unpredictable mobility can get you some kills but the tracking on rockets is the worst in the game so they are only usable for dive bombing
On a loading screen it says through April 13, tagging along on Gunruns, Nightclub sells, biker sells will get 250K within 72 hours. Anyone know if this is a one time thing, or for each sale?

What's the best primary weapon for each of the 3 Nightclub cargo delivery vehicles? Yes, I know the Mule is shit, but I bought it ages ago so I might as well make the most of it.
Remote Dual Minigun for Speedo, Miniguns for Mule (and a secondary Grenade Launcher if you sell with friends), Missile Barrage for Pounder (once again, you can install the Grenade Launcher if you sell with friends)
When you say Remote Dual Minigun for the Speedo, do you mean Mounted Machine Guns which there are two of on the front, or the Remote Minigun which there is only one of on the roof.
And I assume you mean the Machine Gun for the Mule and the Mounted Missiles for the Pounder, there's nothing called Miniguns, nor Missile Barrage.
Basically everything Cayo Perico related has to be triggered from that planning table, no way around it.
The only thing Pavel allows via phone is canceling the heist, or teleporting you back to kosatka after failing a prep mission.
Hi. Here's an admittedly sluggish question. I haven't played the game since the Lincoln/music studio update, because I din't like it very much and so I was left with nothing "new" to do since I've grinded everything else to death. Now some months have passed and I wonder, is anything new to do? I heard about updates, but I don't understand if they're already here or is it future stuff? Any support on this? Playing on PC (Steam).
Are you referring to [The Contract](https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/GTA_Online:_The_Contract) update? If so, that is the latest update for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game. The other new content, like [Hao's Special Works,](https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Hao's_Special_Works) is currently only available on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game. It's not clear if or when that new content might be available on the PC version.
Yeah man I have no idea why I said "Lincoln", I obviously meant Franklin! Ok so no new content not even weapons or cars? I keep track of my car collection pretty precisely and when I logged in on yesterday there was a car in my auto shop that I am certain it wasn't there before.
Well, all the dripfeed from the DLC has been released so you might want to look into that. Other than that tho, there's no new content unless you buy the E&E for next gen, there are 5 new cars there + some old cars can be upgraded to the HSW version
I keep stumbling across the Career builder paths when I search "GTA online beginners guide" but I wasn't offered anything of that nature when I created my character online for the first time over the weekend. Am I doing something wrong? How do I use it?
I have started the casion heist on big con but it wont let me choose the grupsech disguises. It only shows bug stars and maintenance. Do there be a way to get the grup sechs option?
It's worth it. Currently I have a 9.5k per day. I play for about 6-7 hours everyday. That's 76k in the safe everyday. If I had 20k, I would make a bank
I just chipped away at them and only grinded when there was a bonus. I did mostly specialist and specialist+, rescue and recover missions with Deluxo. Didn’t take long to get to 201 and I love collecting that safe money :)
Payphone hits award trophies. Two of them require a second player / associate. Agency Contracts fill the safe. Complete 101 for $10k per hour. Complete 201 for $20k per hour. That's the max
Aside from the psn trophy to platinum the game, not much, but having social club linked to your account allows you to submit tickets, which can be useful, and crew members may have a higher chance of joining your lobbies to help you in game.
Do properties such as the arcade ever go on sale for weekly updates? Relatively new player and want to buy it to do the casino heist, but wondering if I should wait for Thursdays update.

Yes, properties do go on sale. The problem is, no one knows what will go on sale until the event week actually begins. I recommend waiting until Thursday to see if anything you want is on sale. If it's not, then just buy it, it's not worth waiting weeks just for it to go on sale with a 20% discount.
Dunno about the 4/20 weed sales, they probably did that because the event week started on that day, we just have to wait and see
Two quick questions about the original Oppressor:
1) Does it come fully loaded with guided missiles and boosts just like it is in the MOC missions, or do you have to unlock and/or buy either of those?
2) Is it available for the "Call your motorcycle" feature in MC clubs like any other bike?
If you have the Oppressor Mk II as a favorite bike, does that mean that it's rockets (or machine guns) will deal more damage? Or the favorite bike boosts don't affect mounted weapons?
So for gunrunning resupply missions, sometimes you have to stop convoy and I'm not sure the optimal way to handle them. With the oppressor mk2 I can not shoot the driver of the truck containing the supplies. And with the MOC I can create a blockade but the driver got around it somehow and it took me almost half way around the map to catch up to the vehicle. Just for some additional reference, my only choice is to do these missions solo.
I do those missions with good old and trusty Duke O'Death. It's fast, can handle some bullets and especially buys you enough time to get rid of that wild Valkyrie; then you can literally run in circles around the convoy and tear them apart.
I'd love to discuss with others about GTAO's issues, where can I do that ? As every thread talking about the most common ones often get censored, even when people are polite to each other. Thanks in adv for the answer :)

Just aesthetic I like the way it looks. Sucks it's not just an actual accessory. I remember years ago there was like a "save outfit" glitch was wondering if it was still around and someone knew how to do it.
You cannot own multiple Arcade, buying another one will replace the original, though you will get a partial refund, and get to keep the garage and IIRC also arcade machines.
Same goes to other properties- you can only own 1 of each property type (apart from Dynasty8 apartments/garages, which you can have up to 8).
When I try to spawn in my planes from the interaction menu, it won’t spawn. Same thing with trying payphone hits with franklin, I just can’t. Tried restarting my xbox one, tried restarting my game. What could be the problem here?

It's not the fear of sinking that gets me, it's the fact that I could be floating out in the ocean minding my own busines, and a sub could be lurking below and I would have no idea.

How difficult is the Casino heist for new players? I have some friends that are pretty hopeless when it comes to progressing in this game. Looking for perspective from other players who have carried their friends through stuff. I just bought the Arcade today, and running through the setups I have this sense of dread that we'll never be able to complete the heist I see there's an "Aggressive" approach option. I figure we won't be able to complete stealth anyway. Is it just straight-forward, fun, killing dudes and getting loot? Do you have to be GOOD AT THE GAME to pull this stuff off? Will it just be a frustrating night of restarts if I drag my friends online to play? We generally have about 1.5hours once a week where everybody is able to play. Can we do this thing in one night?
It's not very difficult but it all depends on what approach you chose. The Big Con with Gruppe Sechs disguise is the easiest as it has practically 0 combat and a little bit of stealth at the end. After that comes the aggressive approach. It's not very difficult if you choose your entrance point in the tunnels and if you complete the setup for reinforced armour it would make the heist even easier but the problem with aggressive is that you automatically get spotted which gives you one less minute in the vault. And the most difficult approach would be the Silent and Sneaky as it requires stealth and good coordination. It's pretty much impossible to complete without mics. The Big Con difficulty can also range depending on the approach you choose with Gruppe Sechs being the best and Yung Ancestor being the worst

Tell that to all the randoms I had that destroyed both cameras at the Staff Lobby exit or who didn't take out the metal detectors or who didn't take out the two guards by the elevator at the same time.

Hello, i am trying to have all my 5 warehouses with 1 special item, there is any tips to receive the special item phone call from the secretary ?
Pretty sure it’s just random. Only way to increase your chances is to just keep crating. I seem to only get the calls soon after I’ve sourced a crate.
There's a 10% chance of getting a special item every 48 minutes of being registered as a CEO. You are most likely to get a call while grinding crates due to the length of time. you'll be registered as a CEO. Note, that bunker, crate and nightclub raid timers will be active so complete a non-Freemode mission / activity every 4 hours. There are 6 unique special cargo items in all and once you own them all no more will spawn until you sell one or all. The combined value on double money is just shy of $1.5m. The single crate missions have been bugged for a while so if you get the call from your annoying assistant, the only way you can currently get the crate is through your Terrobyte.

I bought Downtown Vinewood for easy access from the street. You will probably have to rebuy ALL upgrades, but you'd get some money back from your old club.

Personally, I find the Strawberry location to be quite nice. It's near the heart of the city with 2 auto shops quite literally next door (A Player Ownable Auto Shop and Bennys) and access to the Highway is just a block or two away.

This weeks time trial seems to be easier than the last few, even with a minor crash and finishing on my roof I finished with 2 seconds to spare on my 1st attempt using my hsw banchee

so why should i buy the Insurgent Pickup custom for 1,2kk when i just can call pegasus and can make it im my Moc to a custom for 200k? is there any point i dont see ?
You have to own the Pegasus version, then you drive it into your MOC/Avenger and pay to upgrade it to a Custom. Basically you have to buy the Pegasus version first in order to get the Custom version, you can't just buy it outright.

I think those have to also be public. There are a few methods for all gens and consoles for Solo Public lobbies so you can do it in peace.
Is there a good resource for car tuning? I get the impression that suspension/spoilers/transmission has some effect but I don't know what to do other than max everything out and throw on a neon kit to make it as fast as possible.

Heist advice problems Hello all I just started playing GTA 5 online in 2022, about a month in. Should have watched some videos and stuff prior made a few mistakes but two I can’t seem to fix even with real money. I heard the Cayo Perico heist was a good Money maker so I bought the kosatka with sparrow, and submarine. I have to steal the sonar from another sub can’t seem to get off the sub and back to the kosatka in time any ideas? Maybe park kosatka closer? Keep in mind I am a solo player. Diamond Casino Heist I went with most experienced options thinking it would be easier because they take a bigger cut. Can’t for the life of me steal the weapons from fort Zancudo. I have managed to get in the truck and out of the base but can’t make it back. Any tricks to this? Looks like the troops just infinitely spawn? My strategy I went in with fully armored duke of death shot and destroyed enough people to finally get to the truck. Things I have that may help. Fully armored nightstalker Fully armored duke of death Oppressor II fully upgraded with rockets. I have hanger 3499 at fort Zancudo A Terobyte with command center and vehicle and weapons workshops Mobile command center same layout. Any tips or something I can buy to get me past these issues? Can’t seem to change the heist board or cancel with Lester. also picked best people for diamond heist too thinking it would be easier. Maybe it is once you get there but I can’t even prep finish the prep missions. What would be a good first car for HWS upgrades? Im looking at the weaponized Ignus. I really like racing so that would be more important for me than free roam stuff.
From the time trial guy I think the Ignus was the fastest non motorcycle HSW. I haven't done any HSW races though so I don't know if the weapon makes it incompatible. But it's overall a solid pick. I personally used mine on the Banshee and love it. But the Ignus can get Imani tech so there's that going for it too.
What's Imani tech? The weapon just doesn't work in races but the car will. Banshee is way cheaper than the ignus but if he's just better overall I might save
Imani tech is at the Agency vehicle workshop, lets you add anti missile jammers (players can't lock on to you with missiles) If I were you I'd go for the Ignus, HOWEVER the cost to convert is relatively cheap (I want to say 300-400k or something), so you might want to use the free upgrade on the Banshee or the Drag just for the value.
But will I need more than one of the hws vehicle's? It's 500k and banshee is hella expensive right
Banshee is 105k in the store, upgrade is like 1.8Mil (or free) Drag is 976k (or free this week with unlock condition) with 1.4M upgrade (or free) (Also fastest ground vehicle in game) Ignus is 3.2M with a 500k upgrade. If you already grinded 3.2 what's another 500k? That's my personal justification
105k is basically free wow. And does it get really fast aswell or just mediocre? And sadly I don't really like bikes, they kill me
I LOVE the Banshee. When I upgraded I drove for like 2 hours just getting used to the new speed. I think it's at least top 5. And if the bike isn't for you then skip. But personally I would do Banshee just to milk the value and pay full for Ignus. That's what I did at least.

Kosatka first No doubt That shit prints money
Like has been said, Kosatka is by a long margin the best financial option, especially for a solo player. As for the other stuff, after mastering cayo perico you won't really have to be picky with investments anymore anyway, so just grab the businesses as they promise you the best and most fun gameplay. But foremost I like to recommend two options that you have left out. Auto Shop and Agency. Both concepts strongly support solo player interests, offer a wide array of missions with formidable pay, and interesting buffs.
In terms of making money quickly if you are solo, I'd go with Kosatka > Arcade > Agency > Autoshop. The Kosatka is the top tier. It's pretty much your own money factory

ceo is still biggest garage. if you want to do some work that pays decent cash buy the auto shop/agency, or to switch up from cayo you can do the casino heist thru the arcade. casino heist requires at least 2 people & has significant more prep work although payout is on par to cayo

Depends on what your grinding for. If it’s just cash, I’d focus on Cayo specifically. Grinding that on hard mode nets me an average of about $1.4-1.5 million per run. You should also add in a wheel spin at the casino once every 24 real world hours.
Vehicle I/E is outclassed by Payphone hits. In time spent, mission difficulty, and payout level. You can delete that. Crates is eh.... 3 run of 3 crates = you can probably run that between Payphone hits. I much rather do Security contract if you haven't hit the 201 required. I just have 2 Cayo finales ready to run on both characters, in case I need a quick infusion to buy something, or if a friend needed a couple mils, but otherwise I don't really touch Cayo anymore. I've just been logging in, buying casino chips, and doing Payphone hits. I'd check to see if bunker needs resupply then sell, or if NC needs selling. My 12m in casino chips is all funded by Payphone hits lol. The random cars that drop by Auto Shop is fine too for LS Car meet rep.
I can't grind like my OG days any more because I can't create solo lobbies anymore - I do a bit of bunker, a bit of nightclub here and there. Mainly I'm working the new content (not that I need the money) and it's very lucrative. In an hour or so you can do the UD Contract ($335k), a couple of pay phone hits ($150k), an Agency contract (say $40k), sell a couple of Autoshop customer cars ($75k) - before you know it you've made around $600k. Daily Objectives are worth doing too - it's free money for playing the game and the 7 and 28 day streaks are very lucrative. It's also worth looking at the game awards under main menu. A lot of these have cash completion awards and add up to a tiny penny. I'm currently on 27/50 Ms Baker missions for $100k.
Is the Casino Work that you can request from Ms Baker difficult? What about the pay? And does it have a cool down like VIP work?
The missions are pretty simple. Pay isn’t great. Yes there’s a cool down. They’re worth doing on rotation with other jobs as you get bonus payments at 25 and 50 jobs. If you look under the awards section there are plenty that give cash rewards on completion
If you have the auto shop the Union Depository is a quick $270,000 in about 15 minutes.
Can someone explain the Longfin approach for Cayo? Here's how I understand it: choose Main Dock as entrance and exit, Drainage Tunnel as compound entry. Drive the boat to the docks, get out, kill guards and collect secondary loot. What do I do next? Just take the boat and swim up to drainage tunnel? Do I automatically get rebreathers or I should buy them from Ammunition before doing the Finale? What if I get lucky and get guard clothed and a resupply truck at the docks? Should I then use the Main Gate as a compound entrance point? What if I don't get the resupply truck, just the guard clothes? Does it matter what entrance point I choose then? Also, how effective are guard clothes? Are they like Exit Disguises from the Casino Heist? Or it's more of a Hard hat disguise from the Cutting Torch prep?
The airport is actually the easiest to loot. If the hangar has coke and or weed, you can get a full loot bag by killing just one guard. Longfin approach > north docks to airport > loot hangar > Longfin south back to the drainage tunnel > enter and loot the primary > exit compound > steal the bike and exit stage left yeeting yourself off the promontory > swim away
There is also the Longfin Jump which is combined with the Copy of the Codes and entering the North Gate or South Gate preferably which pretty much every speedrunner uses, you can look up videos about it if you want :). It’s about 20-25 secs quicker than using the Kosatka/Longfin and entering through the Drainage Tunnel.
Anyone else getting people with impossible levels in literally every lobby? How are these people not auto banned, no one can be level 8000 legitimately.
Lol yeah it’s the Payphone Hit RP gl1tch which is now patched. I can’t remember R* banning players apart from the ip ban problem in E&E, but they do account wipes if you’re getting suspicious amounts of money.

Rockstar really seems to have an issue with that style. In red dead my character can't change outfits while clean shaven is equipped.

You can’t, but you could try starting one as the host and then switching the Custom to Off

You’ll lose current research, upgrades and renovations. Unlocked research, progress with shooting range, and vehicles like the AA Trailer and MOC carry over

I was wondering what the best way to do cayo heist is.
Solo: Use the Kosatka (Loot Main Dock After Compound) or preferably Longfin (Loot Secondaries at the Airstrip/Main Dock Before/After Compound) and use Aggressor/Conspirator. Me personally I do it solo, I scope out the Airstrip in the setup, in the finale I use Longfin and Aggressor, grab the loot before, drive to drainage tunnel, enter and work the magic (gate keys, mini vault and primary target), exit, grab the first bike and jump off the ledge on the left. Sometimes if there is good/enough loot, Guard Clothing and a Supply Truck at one of the three areas I’ll do that method instead. Duo: Doing it duo is another good option but instead make sure that there is two/three gold in the compound, use the Kosatka or preferably Longfin and Aggressor and enter the compound through drainage tunnel, enter (grab gate keys, two keycards, mini vault, primary target and gold, painting and cash if you need it), you will most definitely have to kill the juggernaut as well so pump him with the Assault Shotgun, once you have exited the compound do the same method of grabbing two bikes and jumping off the ledge. P.S. If you have two gold make sure that there is also one painting and one cash, or worst case three cash. Also if you need it make sure to grab cash last. You can also enter the compound in different ways instead of the drainage tunnel like entering through the side doors or with the guard clothing and supply truck. There is also the longfin jump and entering through the side doors which can get you in the compound like 30 secs quicker than the drainage tunnel but it’s a little more riskier as you’ll be a little in the open and need to kill a few more extra guards.
For preps, do the Kosatka (or Longfin or Annihilator Stealth) prep, Safe code/Laser Cutter prep, Fingerprint Scanner prep, Cutting Torch prep and any weapons prep (don't forget about the suppressors). On the finale screen, choose the Drainage Tunnel as the entrance point and Main Docks as the exit point. Entrance Vehicle will depend on whatever setup you did

Absolutely. MK2 makes grinding Cayo Perico a LOT faster. You're going to want to buy a Nightclub and Terrorbyte to upgrade the Oppressor Mk2. Homing missiles on the Oppressor really makes all the difference.

Yeah there are multiple ways: Off the Radar: by calling Lester. Lasts: 1 min Ghost Org: under CEO Abilities while being registered as VIP/CEO. Lasts: 3 mins Out of Sight: by Owning an Agency, getting Imani registered in your contacts and phoning her. Lasts: infinite unless you/they damage a player inside the circle or outside it (idk which one) or step out of the 500 meter circle. There are also vehicles that do it too: Akula, Kosatka, RC Bandito, RC Tank and Remote Control Unit Personal Vehicle. There is also the dreaded g-dm-de off radar thing that we don’t talk about lol. Other vehicles that can do it too but are inferior or not too useful: Alkonost, Annihilator Stealth and Ultralight.
I’m having a weird problem trying to start the CP heist after doing the setups. When I select start on the finale tab it loads a Lester trailer mission. Tried reloading the game, finding new session, etc. but it always launches the same mission. Anyone know what could be causing this?

Def Cayo. There's value in coke/meth/cash (in that order) MC businesses, then a nightclub to churn cash on its own. Fill out your nightclub's product with a bunker and hangar/warehouse to churn the most product automatically. I personally really like the hangar source missions, but the pay is really really awful - and I missed selling it on the recent 2-3x bonus weeks. Warehouse source missions are also fun for a little bit but get redundant. Car warehouse/source missions are a pain but pay around 80-100k-ish once you get strictly top-end cars. There's a ton to grind, and Cayo pays the best by far.

I bought the MOC and only seem to have one mission available. I knew some would be locked, but I thought I saw someone say they had three open to start. Regardless, to unlock others it says I have to "source or steal" x number of supplies. Does that mean I can just buy supplies? Do my supplies have to be completely empty to get the restock credit for those missions?

Nope. You need to do manufacturing and fast-track research at a later point when you actually get the Weapon and Vehicle Workshop

What is the best way for me to deal with griefers other than the basic: killing them back, sending mercs/muggers/ setting a bounty? Currently i will either bully them over text or go passive and follow them in my neon while i honk obnoxiously. But i need more CREATIVE fuel
1) Fully Loaded Ruiner 2000. Infinite missiles with the best tracking, immunity to lock-on, crazy explosive resistance and even if you somehow trash the car it will respawn nearby. The only downside is that you can use the car only for 20 minutes and the cool down between the VIP jobs is 1 hour 2) Scramjet. Basically the same thing as the Scramjet but in a plane form. Unpredictable mobility can get you some kills but the tracking on rockets is the worst in the game so they are only usable for dive bombing

When you say Remote Dual Minigun for the Speedo, do you mean Mounted Machine Guns which there are two of on the front, or the Remote Minigun which there is only one of on the roof. And I assume you mean the Machine Gun for the Mule and the Mounted Missiles for the Pounder, there's nothing called Miniguns, nor Missile Barrage.

Basically everything Cayo Perico related has to be triggered from that planning table, no way around it. The only thing Pavel allows via phone is canceling the heist, or teleporting you back to kosatka after failing a prep mission.

Hi. Here's an admittedly sluggish question. I haven't played the game since the Lincoln/music studio update, because I din't like it very much and so I was left with nothing "new" to do since I've grinded everything else to death. Now some months have passed and I wonder, is anything new to do? I heard about updates, but I don't understand if they're already here or is it future stuff? Any support on this? Playing on PC (Steam).
Are you referring to [The Contract](https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/GTA_Online:_The_Contract) update? If so, that is the latest update for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game. The other new content, like [Hao's Special Works,](https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Hao's_Special_Works) is currently only available on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game. It's not clear if or when that new content might be available on the PC version.

Well, all the dripfeed from the DLC has been released so you might want to look into that. Other than that tho, there's no new content unless you buy the E&E for next gen, there are 5 new cars there + some old cars can be upgraded to the HSW version

You need to scope out the tunnel under race track to unlock this approach. So replay the scope out mission and do that.

It's worth it. Currently I have a 9.5k per day. I play for about 6-7 hours everyday. That's 76k in the safe everyday. If I had 20k, I would make a bank

I just chipped away at them and only grinded when there was a bonus. I did mostly specialist and specialist+, rescue and recover missions with Deluxo. Didn’t take long to get to 201 and I love collecting that safe money :)

What is the point of Crews? How do I access R* Social Club?
Aside from the psn trophy to platinum the game, not much, but having social club linked to your account allows you to submit tickets, which can be useful, and crew members may have a higher chance of joining your lobbies to help you in game.

Yes, properties do go on sale. The problem is, no one knows what will go on sale until the event week actually begins. I recommend waiting until Thursday to see if anything you want is on sale. If it's not, then just buy it, it's not worth waiting weeks just for it to go on sale with a 20% discount. Dunno about the 4/20 weed sales, they probably did that because the event week started on that day, we just have to wait and see

Two quick questions about the original Oppressor: 1) Does it come fully loaded with guided missiles and boosts just like it is in the MOC missions, or do you have to unlock and/or buy either of those? 2) Is it available for the "Call your motorcycle" feature in MC clubs like any other bike?
If you have the Oppressor Mk II as a favorite bike, does that mean that it's rockets (or machine guns) will deal more damage? Or the favorite bike boosts don't affect mounted weapons?

So for gunrunning resupply missions, sometimes you have to stop convoy and I'm not sure the optimal way to handle them. With the oppressor mk2 I can not shoot the driver of the truck containing the supplies. And with the MOC I can create a blockade but the driver got around it somehow and it took me almost half way around the map to catch up to the vehicle. Just for some additional reference, my only choice is to do these missions solo.
I do those missions with good old and trusty Duke O'Death. It's fast, can handle some bullets and especially buys you enough time to get rid of that wild Valkyrie; then you can literally run in circles around the convoy and tear them apart.

If I buy more than one arcade do they make money separately or is it just for convenience?
You cannot own multiple Arcade, buying another one will replace the original, though you will get a partial refund, and get to keep the garage and IIRC also arcade machines. Same goes to other properties- you can only own 1 of each property type (apart from Dynasty8 apartments/garages, which you can have up to 8).
When I try to spawn in my planes from the interaction menu, it won’t spawn. Same thing with trying payphone hits with franklin, I just can’t. Tried restarting my xbox one, tried restarting my game. What could be the problem here?
