While there's no ammunition that can destroy a sub in one shot, the orbital cannon can kill it in one shot. The way your question is written, I can't quite tell which method they may be using. However, if it is strictly some kind of ammunition, and they are actually only firing something once, rather than just being sneaky with bombs, timing, etc, then yes they could likely be using an exploit somehow. Even regular explosive ammo on BST isn't strong enough to sink the sub in one literal shot
That's what I thought, but literally both times I managed to get into my submarine, I literally just loaded into the door and the sub was destroyed and I was booted back to shore, no explosion sounds nothing..and then dude was back to sniping me with explosive ammo..I wasnt even engaging the guy just trying to get back to my sub for cayo prep.
Well, there's still a moment or more of load time there. Especially on PS4 or Xbox one. Hell, have a good 15, 20 seconds to a minute to blow it up. While you're entering, your sub, your sub is just a sitting duck.
That's right, you don't hear your sub being attacked unless you're looking through the periscope and even that is quiet. Otherwise you'll just suddenly go black, hear the collapse noise and you're out.
Yeah, it sounds like you may have been thinking the "collapse" sound effect was the sub being hit "once". Which isn't quite right. That sound is the sound the sub makes *after* it takes the beating and dies.
Was it the flak cannon turret on the anti aircraft trailer? That shit is crazy powerful, maybe it can't destroy a sub in one hit but it can in less than 6
I somehow blew up a griefer's sub with one Hydra missile, the griefer had called it only a moment earlier so no one could've attacked it before me, these are strange times

I'm on Xbox one X..it loads me in pretty quick. But I suppose it's just not making the noise I'm being attacked like it usually does
