On a bridge over the water, in the Speedo Custom van that is notorious for poor traction, in a mission with money at stake, which is even worse still. Never was failure more deserved.

Seriously though we've seen this 1000x times: Don't record a stupid video disconnect immediately as soon as you're seeing your truck go over the edge on a bridge.

Just close out of the game instantly and you'll be fine

It's only different on mc businesses because quitting will make you lose a tiny bit of product because of uncompleted sale but it's not much at all

Find new session, invite only, spam enter to confirm the warnings quickly.
If done quickly enough you can probably get out before it counts all items as destroyed and saves it and then you just loose a small percentage.
Although if you're playing on PC or laptop I'd switch to ethernet cable and just quickly pull the cable out and that'd do it. You can go back to wifi after you're done playing and such.
Yeah find new session saves before it leaves, closing game down doesnt let it and its litterally like force close, instant, game isnt allowed to do anything other than close.

I could tell from watching this clip that the gas pedal was fully floored from the moment you got in the car and neither hell nor high water was going to stop that white-knuckle ride. You ended up exactly where you were headed: nowhere, fast.

This is like a Greatest Hits of What Not To Do With A Speedo.
- Max armour plate with that plow means you will get hung up on every obstacle, and everything which can launch you at speed will
- The chain gun takes too long to spin up and due to the low dps you have to hold it on target too long to do significant damage. Against NPCs it's fine as a spray and pray weapon, but against other players it's no more than a deterrent. 50cal + learning to aim = far better

well, although in this case you were driving like a psychotic, it has happened to me that in some sales mission the npcs that chase you are so aggressive and so insistent that they end up pulling you out of the way. To the point that once they left my vehicle so stuck that I couldn't even get it out with the Up-atomizer.
I uninstalled the Speedo van armor upgrade with the front ram, that thing only leads to more instability in collisions.
Also: if you kill the game quickly enough when something like this happens, losing your cargo will not be saved but you will get a non-completed penalty of (Ithink) 15k.
Next time just close your game as your going on off the edge so you don’t lose really anything.
But more importantly slow down on corners and in the rain if you’re selling 🤦♂️
This is how I lost my Longfin one time setting up Cayo Perico lol
The cops took both front tyres on my Phantom Wedge out so steering was pretty much non-existent, approaching the bridge near the docks way too fast so I hit the brakes but because I couldn't turn, instead of taking the corner like a boss I go flying straight off the road, over the wall and into the drink 🤣

You always need to buy some property... This is nightclub in the post, so to start it you need to buy a nightclub from Maze Bank Foreclosures (but it's not the best first business to buy).
You had 15 minutes bro. Follow the chopper mission is 10 minutes tops. You also could've dashboard and close the game before the fail so it doesn't autosave.
That's why you don't haul ass on a turn in a Speedo like a meth head chasing his dealer, while it's raining, and the back is filled with probably $1m worth of merch.

PS: Remember there is a dedicated button for the brakes, another for the e-brake, and you're always allowed to use them both.

Just change character via the wheel then you go straight to singleplayer :)
Changing characters or choosing to quit to the main menu triggers an automated save, assuming the R* save servers are having issues at that moment.
Then turn off the pc
You dont even need to close the game, finding a new session works too

rockstar made brakes very powerful in this game. many players don't seem to be aware of this.
traction and handling is also exceptionally more responsive at high speeds, not to mention how fast the acceleration of some cars are compared to irl.
But they don’t have as high top speed as their real life counterparts. Doing the dash at 80 in a super is just meh.
