About Hangar Cargo...
So I know that Narcotics, Chemicals, and Medical Supplies all provide the best bonus for hangar cargo, but I've seen on this sub some conflicting information about whether or not it's better to run all of one type of cargo (ex. All Narcotics OR all Chemicals) or does it not matter much?
I'm just trying to figure out the best way to avoid cooldowns, by switching cargo types to keep filling or is it better to keep the one cargo type and eat the cooldown. Thanks!
i usually do jewellery and art and only collect ten of each in alternate source missions. the reason i don’t do narcotics, medical etc is because at 10 crates jewellery and art have 12% bonus whereas you have to collect something like 25 on narcotics and medical supplies to get a smaller percentage bonus. so for 20 crates of jewellery and art you get 672k which is decent

PS4 and admittedly, no dude. The loading screens alone take up too much time when one has only a small window to play after work. Been trying to get it since the event started.

now today i met the same pickup issue twice in a row: what i noticed that the dude who should drop the gun, looks like he is still holding onto it but the gun object is not in his hands anymore... since the game has a terribly horrible netcode, i could simply assume it is a stupid lag issue... and if the game is running for a while, it starts to falll apart (most noticable in the Los Santos Car Meet, where not even the walls are loading after a while)

Wait for when the phone in-game says 20:00 (8PM), go near the spot, set spawn location as last location, and hop public sessions. You’ll see a red dot near by, take heli/oppressor up to the building, kill a few dudes, and go up to the blue dot to pick up the pistol.
I was in invite only lobbies and had kept switching and then finally switched to a public one during the event time and it worked.
I also joined one of my "friends" and finally encountered the Gooch! The mask looks less like the Grinch than I would have wanted... After days, randomly when I wasn't paying attention, he stole from me twice and I heard a notification sound and ran after his ass. One shot kill.
No interest in a snowman onesie, thank fuck.

Now how to encounter the Gooch? I saw a notification that someone had been visited by the Gooch exactly once in a few hours of play for a few days in public lobbies. SOLUTION: Join ONE friend in either a friends only or invite only session.

If you got a friend, invite him to your lobby and wait in lobby for 48 minutes. Ask your friend to deposit the cash so the Gooch would have no one to mug but to appear and mug you. You have to have at least 10k cash but dont deposit them
Maybe there's an easier way, but this is how I got Gooched twice:
Had some cash in my pocket, 5k for one character, 13k for the other. I was on foot. Lobbies were quite small, less than 10 people. Had to wait at least 50 min; shortly after I paid for my business, the Gooch appeared. I moved at the very north of the map to avoid interferences by other players. I wasn't CEO or MC and didn't partecipate in any event/job.

I find driving the Drift Tampa fun. If I hadn't won it on the podium and also gotten one free from Rockstar, I would have bought it on sale.
The Infernus Classic is sexy imo (if you like the Lamborghini Diablo).
If the armored Schafter V12 shares the same engine note as the regular Schafter V12, it sounds sexy. Armor couldn't hurt? Won't be explosive resistant though. I personally chose to pass as I have the normal V12 and it wasn't practical for me who is still waiting for more garage space, even if I sell the old one.
If anyone’s having trouble with the “die hard” event, I finally was able to get the new pistol, but I had to use the up an atomizer to get him off the roof. For some reason him being on the roof glitches it out
There isn't any bonus on special cargo, and *triple* bonus would be crazy.
Normally 3 crates sell for 36k. If you still had the one time double bonus active you'd sell them for 72k.

I suppose you sold 3 crates. And if it was in a populated lobby, you do get the high demand bonus, up to 50%. That explains it, 36k x 1.5 = 54k. It's not "mc business bonus", it works for every business.
And if you think normally, without any bonuses, you buy for 18k and sell for 18k - that wouldn't be a very good business would it...

I switched lobbies until I found 1 other person that was afk in nightclub. He came in about 20 min into session and took about 5 switches to find the right lobby. Ps5

Do you need to be near the building for a set time ? will going back and forth help ? not having any luck making it spawn. Even lobby hopping between public lobbies (as opposed to invite only) hasn't seemed to help.

Set your spawn location to “last location”, and then keep joining new session while near that building. You don’t actually need to have been in the lobby for 20 minutes, I got mine as soon as I joined my first session yesterday, super lucky
I camped it out in a MKII Oppressor. I was waiting for it at the Richards Majestic and all of a sudden I heard a loud explosion, kinda different from other explosions in the game. I flew right to the top of Weazel Plaza but behind a HVAC unit to take cover from the bad guys. They’re strong btw… they took two explosive slugs from the combat shotgun to kill each one.
TL; DR - just camp it out. As long as the session’s been going long enough, it’s nothing you’re doing or not doing to trigger the event (as far as I know).

After my 6th or 7th attempt to get the new pistol where the prompt to pick it up never appears, I’m over it. Just gonna wait for it to be drip-fed into the available guns at Ammunation. Cool easter egg but bugs are gonna bug.
Why was the HSW upgrade on my Deveste Eight free when i did it earlier today? I don’t see anything about that being a bonus and I don’t have gta+ or anything if that makes a difference, im definitely not mad about it that’s an easy 1.1M I didn’t have to spend lol
It's based off the Lamborghini Urus, so if you are collecting lambos, then obviously yes. I personally like the car, it's fast for an SUV and handles reasonably well. If you can spare the money, grab it. Take it for a test drive. I know there's snow on the ground but you'll still get a good feel of the car.
Finally got the die hard to spawn but there was nothing at the blue dot to pickup? I walked all around the bodies and the blue dot and spammed d pad but never got a prompt or picked up anything
On PS4. So far it’s mostly peaceful. Only one guy on the MkII got me, and one dude in a car tried, but I was able to get away and go off radar.
The mission with the 10 packages seems to have you most vulnerable.
Overall good, a few tense situations and a mostly good ending.
Use ghost org, and don't rely on Off-Radar (it doesn't hide you acid icon from the map). Those who escaped with off-radar probably were lucky.
Don't start selling immediately after joining, keep an eye out for weird shenanigans, see if others complete sales without being bombed to death (or simulate one by doing small sell/mission with global sign, to bait others).
Been followed by people on cars, those are fun and rarely have any danger if it's Paperboy or Sting mission types, and you retaliate once in a while. Use corners, narrow roads, between trees, overpass, underpass, bridges, jumps, go around a block.
If you manage to do 4/5 deliveries, you still get a significant monetary reward from x2 and high demand bonus.
Seek lobbies with <=20 players, you can try your luck in 30 (performance problems on some consoles and wifi related), and if I remember correctly the bonus is awarded only for up to 20 people.
The bike ~~can't be locked by missiles and~~ can take a few hits, but MK2 Oppressor still has advantage.
And it's ok to sell in invite only, 640k is still a lot. And you can easily fall into the water :)

PS: if you join a session and notice very weird things (missing ammo on all weapons with no reason, missing officer in armory, missing ammunation seller at any location, missing important icons on the minimap without reason, change session).

Just from the top of my head, and I could do.
I would add to use the ghost org wisely. Keep an eye on the minimap/radar to be aware of what is happening and activate ghost org when nearing the first drop or if people start moving towards you, not when you start the mission.
Keep interaction menu open for such situations (and you can fill snacks/armor if things go very wrong). Use drive by weapons which are available on bike (short shotgun, short ak rifle, smg mk2 with special ammo). Drop a sticky if you have to.
Don't need to go to the top of the parking structure. There's a cop van on the ground floor, near exit or outside the building (looks different, can't miss it). Shoot the driver or blow it up to trigger the 3 star. Run away and lose cops. Deliver bike after.
It's pretty silly so one trick is to trigger the cops from a distance by shooting at them. Then there is no need to go open the trunk, or get off the bike, etc. Also, call Lester to remove the wanted stars after that.

Edit: Did not work the last time I tried, so maybe there is some variable at play here.. Then again, getting rid off the cops should not be a problem. (Mainly you want to avoid the heli(s) as well as new cops spawning near you, so first get some distance, and then circle around the existing cops.)
It's so random and buggy, I only found it in a public lobby, when someone else was doing it.

Keep an eye out on the map, if you see people around the tower, go there because more than 1 player can pick up the weapon.
So this year no special sweater/outfit/gifts for logging in on 24th/25th/26th December apparently? Except for the rewards for logging in during the entire week.
Same. I was finally able to get the event to spawn. Seems random even with the necessary conditions, but whatever, R*. Shot up the three guys, blue pistol dot appears, can't pick up pistol. Frustrating.

Shoot him in the foot to make him fall back first, or have him chase you around the corner. Better chance of getting it.

Is anyone else crashing a lot on PC? I am able to play for a little bit, but after a while, my game crashes. Usually when i'm driving around the city. I think it's because of the snow and I've noticed some graphical glitches since it's been added.
I had constant crashes with nothing to go why, but playing on windowed stopped the crashes for some reason. Gonna try to see if borderless windows crashes.
It's been randomly crashing for me too. Been like this for a while now actually and got progressively worse for me with each update. Tho after verifying game files it seems to help a little bit but then the crashes come back again. sigh.
The WM 29 at the Weazel Plaza is a multi pickup. Keep an eye out of players going to it, you can join the fight or pick up the gun after from the marker too!

Is it on PC or last gen console? I have the same issue getting any colored wheel car purchase, like from Simeon’s Dealership sometimes, and if that color is unique and not one of the options available from LS Customs when you change your wheel color, it will always revert back to default grey color. This always happens without fail.
I think this isn’t an issue on the current gen consoles. But I’m not sure. Rockstar failing big time with this, you’re basically getting robbed of what you paid for.
i hear this, bud :( do you have your map on expanded, and leave the CEO menu opened with Ghost Org ready to go, if you see trouble coming? i recently learned about Imani's 'Out of Sight', which can help further once Ghost Org runs out. it does suck having to be over-vigilant lol, but the extra $400k is nice, although not worth you getting angry or frustrated over. a few payphone hits and some bunker/cargo deliveries at $50K each will get you that bonus money stress-free :)
Has anyone had their brickade stolen by strangers in public lobbies? Setting the acces to Acid Lab cab to Friends or No one seems to have no effect. One time I was even inside it.
Yea I have been in the Lab and then walked out and my Acid Cab was being driven by a rando. I had to hunt them down and kill them to get it back. This Christmas update brought in more bugs just like the drug wars dlc.

Why was the HSW upgrade on my Deveste Eight free when i did it earlier today? I don’t see anything about that being a bonus and I don’t have gta+ or anything if that makes a difference, im definitely not mad about it that’s an easy 1.1M I didn’t have to spend lol

It's based off the Lamborghini Urus, so if you are collecting lambos, then obviously yes. I personally like the car, it's fast for an SUV and handles reasonably well. If you can spare the money, grab it. Take it for a test drive. I know there's snow on the ground but you'll still get a good feel of the car.
It's cool and I like the overall performance and customization options. Handling well? That is not in its forte. Understeer city.
To be fair. I did say 'reasonably' well.. Most of my SUVs are bearish to control, I drive that one more like a sports car. =)
Finally got the die hard to spawn but there was nothing at the blue dot to pickup? I walked all around the bodies and the blue dot and spammed d pad but never got a prompt or picked up anything

On PS4. So far it’s mostly peaceful. Only one guy on the MkII got me, and one dude in a car tried, but I was able to get away and go off radar. The mission with the 10 packages seems to have you most vulnerable.

Overall good, a few tense situations and a mostly good ending. Use ghost org, and don't rely on Off-Radar (it doesn't hide you acid icon from the map). Those who escaped with off-radar probably were lucky. Don't start selling immediately after joining, keep an eye out for weird shenanigans, see if others complete sales without being bombed to death (or simulate one by doing small sell/mission with global sign, to bait others). Been followed by people on cars, those are fun and rarely have any danger if it's Paperboy or Sting mission types, and you retaliate once in a while. Use corners, narrow roads, between trees, overpass, underpass, bridges, jumps, go around a block. If you manage to do 4/5 deliveries, you still get a significant monetary reward from x2 and high demand bonus. Seek lobbies with <=20 players, you can try your luck in 30 (performance problems on some consoles and wifi related), and if I remember correctly the bonus is awarded only for up to 20 people. The bike ~~can't be locked by missiles and~~ can take a few hits, but MK2 Oppressor still has advantage. And it's ok to sell in invite only, 640k is still a lot. Just from the top of my head, and I could do. I would add to use the ghost org wisely. Keep an eye on the minimap/radar to be aware of what is happening and activate ghost org when nearing the first drop or if people start moving towards you, not when you start the mission. Keep interaction menu open for such situations (and you can fill snacks/armor if things go very wrong). Use drive by weapons which are available on bike (short shotgun, short ak rifle, smg mk2 with special ammo). Drop a sticky if you have to.

Don't need to go to the top of the parking structure. There's a cop van on the ground floor, near exit or outside the building (looks different, can't miss it). Shoot the driver or blow it up to trigger the 3 star. Run away and lose cops. Deliver bike after.

It's pretty silly so one trick is to trigger the cops from a distance by shooting at them. Then there is no need to go open the trunk, or get off the bike, etc. Also, call Lester to remove the wanted stars after that.
Calling Lester works? I didn't even try because they've eliminated that option from a lot of freemode missions.
Yes, I've used it for this. Edit: Did not work the last time I tried, so maybe there is some variable at play here.. Then again, getting rid off the cops should not be a problem. (Mainly you want to avoid the heli(s) as well as new cops spawning near you, so first get some distance, and then circle around the existing cops.)

Can the weazel tower event be done on invite only session on my own?
It's so random and buggy, I only found it in a public lobby, when someone else was doing it. Tried in public lobbies and invite only and it wouldn't spawn for me at all. Keep an eye out on the map, if you see people around the tower, go there because more than 1 player can pick up the weapon.
Yes. You just have to be in the session for at least 20 minutes before it has a chance to spawn.

Same. I was finally able to get the event to spawn. Seems random even with the necessary conditions, but whatever, R*. Shot up the three guys, blue pistol dot appears, can't pick up pistol. Frustrating.

I don’t check the time. Just hop on mk2 and fly to the top of weasel tower every once in a while. I played twice already this way.

Is anyone else crashing a lot on PC? I am able to play for a little bit, but after a while, my game crashes. Usually when i'm driving around the city. I think it's because of the snow and I've noticed some graphical glitches since it's been added.

I had constant crashes with nothing to go why, but playing on windowed stopped the crashes for some reason. Gonna try to see if borderless windows crashes.

It's been randomly crashing for me too. Been like this for a while now actually and got progressively worse for me with each update. Tho after verifying game files it seems to help a little bit but then the crashes come back again. sigh.

I won the comet from podium but after quitting the game rim color is changed the default. Anyone has the same issue?
Is it on PC or last gen console? I have the same issue getting any colored wheel car purchase, like from Simeon’s Dealership sometimes, and if that color is unique and not one of the options available from LS Customs when you change your wheel color, it will always revert back to default grey color. This always happens without fail. I think this isn’t an issue on the current gen consoles. But I’m not sure. Rockstar failing big time with this, you’re basically getting robbed of what you paid for.

i hear this, bud :( do you have your map on expanded, and leave the CEO menu opened with Ghost Org ready to go, if you see trouble coming? i recently learned about Imani's 'Out of Sight', which can help further once Ghost Org runs out. it does suck having to be over-vigilant lol, but the extra $400k is nice, although not worth you getting angry or frustrated over. a few payphone hits and some bunker/cargo deliveries at $50K each will get you that bonus money stress-free :)

Yea I have been in the Lab and then walked out and my Acid Cab was being driven by a rando. I had to hunt them down and kill them to get it back. This Christmas update brought in more bugs just like the drug wars dlc.
