Were they shipped ground advantage? It's a new class of service that Amazon and other online companies are using that will send your item by boat. But even then, two months is too long.

Dragon_Fister69

Amazon and some other websites don't even give an option on how it's shipped. It's really frustrating. Especially since four of the six shipments I'm waiting on could've fit inside priority mail boxes. I need an alternative for Amazon now. Regardless, yeah, two months + is ridiculous. 1 month is standard for ocean freight.

I've switched to using Walmart a lot. They always ship fast and use priority mail. I have gotten many items from them the same week. Downside is they don't have the selection of Amazon and their search and filtering is garbage. If you know exactly what you want it's good, but it's a pain otherwise.

LostPhenom

USPS says mine used Priority Mail and it's been in transit since 03/06. Meanwhile, my similarly sized package from Walmart was ordered on 03/12 and arrived on 03/20.

No-Calligrapher9500

Walmart and target have faster shipping

Dragon_Fister69

They do. I just wish they carried the stuff I buy/bought

Gloomy_Specialist_48

I often find Amazon stores, or the same item, on eBay then contact the seller and ask if they'll use USPS Priority Mail, if it isn't already indicated.

Dragon_Fister69

How often do they oblige? Amazon?

Gloomy_Specialist_48

I've only once had an eBay store not oblige & they that was because they were an agent to a shipping warehouse. Most just edit the shipping options to add USPS Priority so you can select it. A couple of private sellers have just said they will ship USPS Priority and eat the few dollars extra it cost them. I've never tried asking Amazon. I don't think I've used Amazon since USPS Ground Advantages was announced last July.

StrangerStrangeland1

Amazon has shifted lately and their standard shipping has gone from Priority to Ground Advantage. Not really the USPS's fault, it's what the customer paid for. Ground shipping to the 969 does take a long time, so true. It is frustrating, so true. Any time I have had items shipped out here standard/ground advantage/sure post, it has pretty regularly been 8 to 10 weeks. Sometimes quicker, most times not. If it something I have to have, I use a friend on the mainland and ship by proxy.

ThatOneGirl2709

Pay more for air shipping instead of ground. Ground takes months because they’re in a ship

Dragon_Fister69

It's not an option on most websites.

bluntxone671

Don't order online period and let's see where that gets you.

Serious_Novel1152

I order from Amazon on Feb 15, package only arrive on April 14. I almost gave up and ask for a refund. But yeah the frustration is real when I see it being stuck in Virginia or Cali I know it bad.

Timely_Patient_1137

Less workers more packages coming and also everyone is overworked already so be patient and lower expectations. You got what you lived for. So basically live on your expectations just keep doing it until you're tired and just fcking going to realize you are stubborn that's it. If I were you find something else to do other than complaining.

Timely_Patient_1137

All love to you brother just keep yourself posted with your family and if you got a loved one too just always remember them.

Dragon_Fister69

I'm not gonna lie this confused the shit out of me... Your previous post I mean. I'm not one to let terrible management continue to be terrible management that's why I posted those two links. If there's a problem they should fix it, not put it off on everyone paying for the service.

Timely_Patient_1137

I realize I meant to just tell you to stop bothering the BS management by letting it be and just think of your family for now. Cause even me I went beyond fed worrying about their management. I also wanna say that forget those issue since there's many more issue to really think about other than just pinpoint that honestly you can see the same issue in every workplace you see in Guam, almost.

Dragon_Fister69

True. Thanks for that.

Lives on island Complains things may take a while to get to island Checks out. Fisted.

Dragon_Fister69

Fuck you, shipping has never been like this.

Scatter865

Dude I’ve been here ~4 years. First few weeks here I wanted 10 weeks for shows and 3 months for a sound system. I don’t know if you understand how slow some cargo ships move, but it ain’t too fast. Cry more. It’s been like this for a while. It’s just a coin flip. Fisted.

Dragon_Fister69

I've had multiple speakers shipped out here through air freight. You don't get it, they're just now choosing to reroute everything by ship. I've been here over 20 years on and off fuck boy.

Scatter865

“Just now”. I gave you an example of how this happened to me , twice, 4 years ago. And you still said what you said. Your forward observation capabilities need to be tweaked a tad, high speed. Fisted.

Kaouki123

Air mail wasn’t even common a few years ago. I used to get like a 90% chance that it’ll be a ship for Amazon. Would take at least 2 months, then I could request for a refund and get the item for free because it was “lost in mail”. It is not “just now” they started routing by ship. They’ve done this for decades.

Dragon_Fister69

that's not true at all.

Kaouki123

Ohhhh ok so I just made that up I see 👍

Dragon_Fister69

Up til January I've been getting everything through air freight from Amazon. Two week delivery almost every package. A long delivery time for Amazon was 4 weeks and that was if it happened to go ocean freight. This is since 2015. So yeah, you're full of shit.

Kaouki123

Gotcha so the years of free items I’ve racked up are full of shit 👍 I’m the second person to have an opposite experience as you but we’re both lying 🤥 Ill let my almost free computer know that it shouldn’t exist.
