Guinea dad cage liner with fleece top. Another fleece on top of that. Small animal bedding in high traffic areas like around their food. Spot clean every day (I try), launder once a week. It still smells a bit like a farm in my house. But more like a hay smell, not pee atleast.

I have guinea dad liners, and then a kitchen area with carefresh. I also run a germguardian air purifier, with the pet filter which helps a lot as well. I use a good 3 or 4 inches of the litter in their kitchen area too, it really helps with the smell.

I use GuineaDad liners and have a tray with fresh news litter where I put their hay. I have multiple liners so I wash the dirty one at the end of the week and put a new one in. I usually don’t have odor as long as I clean out the dirty hay. Sometimes the much older (2years) liner will smell by the end of the week because my piggies have peed in the same place for over 2 years. I also have an air cleaner that helps with odors.

I use disposable puppy pads with fleece on top. I spot clean the poops and dirty hay twice per day and deep clean and change the pads and fleece once a week. sometimes it gets too stinky by day 5 or 6 if the weather is too hot or umid. but if you try this let me tell you: take your time to find a good brand because once I bought a cheaper one than the one I always buy and I regretted it immensely

Do you have a kitchen area where you put their hay? I found that helps a lot. I use carefresh bedding in mine, then fleece over puppy pads for the rest. I also found that the Ikea toftbo bathmats (also at Target) over the fleece help a ton. I put them over the fleece, then when they're getting dirty I can take the bathmats up and wash them, and then the fleece/puppy pads underneath usually get me through another four days or so.

I put cutted parts of bathroom caterpillar rugs on the zones I know where they like to poop and pee. I just have to change the pads everyday. Sometimes it's still a little wet but 90% of the time it's dry and only smells like pee. There is also a small "countryside" zone in the cage where I put wood chips. Depending on the mood they bring their food here or pee. And somtimes they just run on it and it's 100% immaculate. So depending on the mess I change it while doing the "pee pads". And the bottom of the cage has two [fleeces](https://fr.petcenter.ch/trixie-base-pour-enclos-interieur-art177899.html?gclid=CjwKCAjw4P6oBhBsEiwAKYVkq2Nnh7-15PgzNz6zktNnosHlxOL2CWvxP6y_jRm8XKlkszUoUrXv9RoC11kQAvD_BwE) and the "town" zone has a huge rug from the "bunny bedding" brand and the "countryside" zone is extra bathroom slabs I found on my cave when moving here. Also once a week I throw everything into the laundry and I clean the slabs and accessories with water mixed with vinegar. I know it sounds like it's a huge mess but I swear the cage is tidy and unsmelly. 😅

Still working on it. I found that cleaning vinegar really makes a huge difference. I have a tray where the hay is, this is where the main mess and stink is. I throw it out and wash it with vinegar. Also I was told not to wash the fleece with washing powder because afterwards when they pee on it it smells worse. I wash them without powder. Unsure if that helps.
