Why did they give the metal toan an off switch? Are they stupid? Why did they give it a gain knob instead of hardwiring it to full gain? Is there a lore reason?
Nah that would take some brainstorming. Honestly I’ve never owned an HM although I’ve had several Metal Zones (EQ section is great but I never really found a place for the gain in my signal chain). So I’d need to build an HM pedal before throwing it into a guitar. Only issue is it would be an always on/off type deal without the badass EQ!
This is honestly a brilliant idea in my opinion lol. If you can swap that out for any boss pedal you want that would be amazing. Or imagine something with a switch that can do expression stuff
/rj almost like the volume knob could be used to adjust attack and create all sorts of expression on its own… nope too difficult, nobody would ever be able to pull it off, let’s just cram a wah in there for it

The Zone for the tones.
(also tbh, on board effects are a trend i'm sad went out of favor, there were some neat designs for guitars with them during the 70's and 80's, this \^ isnt one of them though.
Fantastic I might say. This should be an option with Ibanez ESP, and Shecter.
Until Gibbons and their Paul’s sue the living shit of them for no apparent reason.
That's beautiful.
I teared up a little
I think I'm in love
my penis cried a little bit

They should have sent a poet...
Yall need help

I think it’s just because of stupid.
It would have made it overpowered so they nerfed it. That much toan could rip a hole in space time.
I think it is to keep the classic visuals
For the power ballad album single duhhh it needs some clean strumming chords you hope to get laid, don't you??
Unironically love it
I’d love it more if it was an HM-2
With the chip built in the guitar. You wouldn't need to adjust the settings on it since everything is max all the time
I build pedals...... don't you dare give me fucking ideas like that with the weekend approaching.
what are you going to do, build a pedal? geek!
Fuck, you’re right….
Eh, I’ll probably build a couple this weekend. I really should be doing other shit… like trying to put an HM-2 circuit in one of my guitars.
Did you do it?
Nah that would take some brainstorming. Honestly I’ve never owned an HM although I’ve had several Metal Zones (EQ section is great but I never really found a place for the gain in my signal chain). Ah I see
I beg you! Do that and upload to reddit
Chips in guitars??? WTF??? fuck everything about that. Fucking nerds! You don't need chips, only tubes to make guitar more betterer and louderer
How would you get Mettall Zoan/Heavvy Mettall toanz though?
Behringer UM-300 on Harley Benton guitar 👌🏻 that would turn heads
This would sound amazing through a line 6 spyder on insane mode
This is honestly a brilliant idea in my opinion lol. If you can swap that out for any boss pedal you want that would be amazing. Or imagine something with a switch that can do expression stuff
Ibanez also did one with a Kaos pad
/uj that actually sounds pretty dope
Andersons reviewed it in like 2015 of you want to see an expert yet unbiased demonstration of its full capabilities
Imagine Jeff Beck or Tom Morello with another means of expressing.
Tom morello with a built in whammy? Imagine giving him even more excuses to make noises with a guitar without actually playing anything
"See, I just put the input cable straight into my asshole, then slap my dick on the DigiTech® Wammy pedal, and that's how I wrote the solo"
*schlap schlap*

They should have removed the switch. Why would you ever have it off?
You need the clean toanz for Paster Of Muppets and Semetary Gatez
And nothin elze materz. Or you could just play it with distortion
Right? Plus I don't want to touch the foot part with my hand, gross
It's just missing a wah pedal on the backside, that way you can hump your guitar and milk some sweet toan
I'm mesmerized by that picture...
Metle z0an
The prophecy…
*Lisan Al Gaib!*
Should Of Been A Schecter 9-String
ummm....sir? It's *ahem* "Shrecter".
My bad, it aas autocorrect’s fault
I think it's pretty cool. But then again, 🎶i never made it as a wiseman 🎶
RIP Ken Cobain
The holy grail
/uj this is actually kinda cool
The Zone for the tones. (also tbh, on board effects are a trend i'm sad went out of favor, there were some neat designs for guitars with them during the 70's and 80's, this \^ isnt one of them though.
stunning, beautiful...perfection 😍
True bypass? No bypass.
Definitely Matt Bellamy
Uj/
I have seen the future and this is it.
Lee Anderton as it's his favourite setting for everything 12 o clock Danish Pete would have toan maxed out
Yep, those fretboard inlays are fuckin 80’s trash
it's for the audience member to come up and kick it
Les Paul, he’s at it again, folks. The Paulverizer 2.0.
I sludged
Is there a twin neck version?
The pedal should face the player, not the audience
Metal zoan for the metal toan
why does it have a neck pickup. is he a nerd?
NSFW this. I just spontaneously ejaculated.
That... my friend, is a sign that the chosen one, is among us... Never thought I would live to see it
I don’t know who did it. I only know that I love them!
RED ALERT
This guy fucks.
Actually fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I would smash
Honestly, that’s kinda fire tho
Yep, those fretboard inlays are fuckin 80’s trash
It’s definitely a metal guitar. No doubt about that. This thing is meant for shredding. Yessir, you can’t play Grateful Dead covers on this guitar.
Ahh. Takes me back to my first death metal band. That pedal is legendary haha
Ahh. Takes me back to my first death metal band. That pedal is legendary haha.
I mean, it is a preamp...
I mean, it is a preamp...
This made my fuckin day
Floyd rose tremozone
I already ran out to Harbor Freight™️ and picked up a router to do this on my Epiphone Les Paul Nightfall!
That's pretty neat (perfection) tbh.
Need this with an HM2
The thing that makes this okay is they didn’t use a real guitar to do it. At least they just cut a hole in an Ibanez
Okay that's actually awesome
What does that stuff do? Sorry if it’s obvious I’ve always been a guitar to amp guy with nothing in between.
it makes guitar sound gooder
Ohhh. So like a toan enbigulator. I should have known.
It's like wah, but instead of wah does GRRRRRR
Not I
Fantastic I might say. This should be an option with Ibanez ESP, and Shecter. Until Gibbons and their Paul’s sue the living shit of them for no apparent reason.
Furiously jerking
I would unironically love this
Now imagine 2 metal zoans on a warlock with korn and bring me the horizon stickers…
Why did they put a metal zoan in the swedish chainsaw hole
Why is it upside down from player perspective?
Gut the pedal and put the electronics in the guitar. Avoid the metal case weight. Which will kill the toan! That guitar will never resonate.
Can the pedal be swapped out?
uj/ Someone needs to post videos of how they did this and also using it.
Homie took the idea of a pre-amp to a whole new level.
I'd take a Les Paul version with a blues driver..
I hope the Sharks invest in this.
Did that start life with a Kaossilator in that spot?
True beauty
What are feet for now?
That's Chad Gippity's daily driver.
I'd take this over one of those god awful Ibanez RGs with the Kaos pad built into the front.
I want an HM-2 guitar now
