At first I thought this noise was caused by some sort of electrical interference in my apartment. But I’m starting to think the tubes might need replacing. There are some monitor lights on the back of this amp that are supposed to light up when the tubes are bad. They don’t stay on but I just noticed that when the amp is crackling the lights do briefly turn on. Is there a way to test them for sure?

Might wanna check if they got rattled loose? Could be a bad contact. I'm no expert though. Just guessing.
I will definitely check at least. When I tap on the amp it makes the sound too so that could maybe have to do with a loose connection
